Hi, my name is Mika'la (but you can call me Mika!) and I'm new to this furry thing. All of it. So I suppose I should tell you a little bit about myself, as this is an introduction.

I realized that I loved the whole furry-being-cute-and-small-and-adorable thing when I was about 14, but I never did anything about that until last year, when I found out that there was a furcon in my city and was possessed with a crazy urge to go to it. And I was scared at first, but it was absolutely amazing! (BLFC in Reno, in case you're wondering)

Since then I've been wanting to get more into the community. I've been pretty lonely. But it always seems so intimidating. But, well, here I am, putting myself out there and trying to find a place where I can belong.

I (As in my fursona? I don't really know how to refer to that yet, I'm pretty new) am a shapeshifter (if you've heard of Godbound look up the beast word) who prefers to stay in the form of a panther with purple feathering down my back and the hind legs of a black-furred deer. I like to hunt, overcome challenges, and take care of other animals as a protectoress of nature.

And as for me as a person? I'm a 20 year old female studying computer science and engineering, and I love playing video games, board games, Dungeons and Dragons, cooking, nuzzling, and making friends!
