So I recently joined the forum but I noticed something that would be awesome. The ability to react to posts. Other forums I have been one using this same forum software has a bar with reactions like "like" "Dislike" "Agree" and ETC. I think it would be cool to implement that into the site.

The first one I've seen before and kinda like as I think you can add custom reactions. The facebook one is also cool!

I recall that the forum at some stage had a similar system which didn't pan out right. I'm personally for the idea but I can definitely see the potential for problems. (People just making posts to get more "likes", people getting offended by inappropriate or lack of reactions, etc).

Heh, I remember the good ol' karma counter.

I never had much trouble with it though I recall it became an issue for at least certain members and thus was eventually removed.

Yeah, as much fun as this sort of thing can be, it can be just as much trouble. I'd need a lot of convincing to put something like this in place.

Maybe to get a better idea we could put a poll in this thread. If a huge proportion of people want it then maybe we'd go for it.

AceAurora you wouldn't mind putting a poll (or me putting a poll) in your thread would you?
