Hey there,
I am Jay the Fox (19), a very friendly social being, and I'm totally new to the Furry fandom. It's been just a few days now since I discovered the Furry fandom and I very much like it, I have watched a lot of YouTube videos and red like all information thats available online about it. Sadly I don't own a fursuit, and I think I never will because I am way to scared of people around me finding out.
The reason I decided to join this forum is that I very often feel isolated in my own life which makes me feel very lonely, and by joining this forum I hope to find the happy part inside of myself again. Despite being just 19 I sadly have expierenced a lot already, I think a lot of people here have similar stories and thats what makes me feel like this is also the right spot for me.
My main interests are being with my best friends, listening to music, watching movies, and traveling. I also like interacting with other people in a social way very much, because I see strangers as friends I haven't met yet, the same for users on this forum.
I hope this is a good introduction, please feel free to ask questions!

I actually listen to a lot of genres: pop, hiphop, dance, electronic, rap (american, dutch, french), r&b. Ranging from very old music to the latest hits, as long as it sounds good. :)

Just a little question, how can I take my fursona a step further and make up like details and stuff? Since I am really new to this I kinda get stuck here.

Well, I'm not a character design expert either. With my sona I just wanted a mage. Rest came from there. So I guess... Just pick what you like most and do that
Got a favourite colour? Add that in.
Maybe something you kinda wish you knew how to do but can't find the time to learn? No one is going to stop you from at least pretending you know that here *juggles rocks*
You can be unique with some cool markings or colour, or you can just go simple and build up over time.
There's a guy that has been using a temporary sona for like a year around here. Don't worry about it too much if you don't have any ideas yet.

If you feel isolated, you rather should meet people irl than sitting on the internet. Studies showed that socializing on the internet only makes you feeling more sad and lonely and even depressive. Doesn't mean you wouldn't be welcome here, just needed to say that.
However, make yourself at home.
