Hi, I'm Vergil. I'm rather new to the whole fur/anthro fandom, as I was unfortunately a victim of trying to suppress my interest to avoid stigma. As of late I've decided that I'm going to be more comfortable with myself, and getting more involved with this community is one of the first steps in doing so.
My fursona is a crow named Vergil (hence my user), he's a bit of an eccentric fellow. He likes to talk almost incoherently when meeting new people, and wears Victorian-era clothing. This is, to him, a way to sort out who's worth his time or not. If people act polite or civil while he's being well... a bit odd, then he takes it as them being good folk. On the other hand, should someone react more negatively, then he doesn't believe that they deserve his attention. A, "if you can't handle me at my worst, you don't get me at my best" kinda deal.
However I am still hashing out more details in regards in Vergil, and have yet to have any art commissioned for him. Hopefully he'll have a more fleshed out character, and some artwork done when my life gets a bit more stable.
So yeah, I think that's about it. Apologies, but I'm not very good at these kinds of introductions.

I think I've always been drawn to crows. Even as a little kid my mother would often toss out leftovers for local crows to eat. Because of this there were always crows in our yard (that were quite friendly to the both of us), and a few of them even ended up setting up nests in the trees. Not to mention there's quite a few on my campus, and I'm always happy to see them going about. I've always liked how they're smart enough to realize that if you're nice to them, then they will, in turn, be nice to you. (Or in the very least not skittish.)

cool, thank you, and yes, crows are very smart. Knew of one that would 'pay' for his meals by leaving small pebbles or shiny things.

Hello Vergil, welcome to the forum! I gotta say, you've got a nice sona done already. And crows aren't that common. I haven't actually seen one around yet. (As in furry crows, I have seen the birds. They've got something about them. I can see why you like them so much)

Oh! We share a thing with crows(which ARE the smartest birds) and a good idea on friend finding! Now to just convince my people to let me wear satyr legs as opposed to victorian clothing. No dresses would last long. XD But I would rock a suit and tie as much as a dress. Hope to see you around!

But yea, seriously, we do seem to be a rare species.

Btw, I totally love crows! May I ask - if not an inconvenience - why you chose that animal as your fursona? I'd love to hear your story. :)
