Helloo, my name's Kayla and I'm new to the furry fandom. I am a wolf and bird therian (researching species). I don't know a whole lot about furries but I have known about them for a while because my friends make fun of it a bit. Anyways I don't have a fursona yet but it is going to be a wolf named Rain.

One of the great things about this fandom is that it's quite diverse, so you're bound to find friends with similar interests and philosophies, but also meet people who are... very different.


Some of the teasing we can get is just mean spirited, but some is just because people don't realised how varied we are and have a very narrow conception of us.


The good thing about us all being different is that there's not really a wrong way to be furry!  So have fun and explore :D

Thank you for all your replies! My friends don't talk about furries often, but when they do it's always negative. But never mind that. I am also part of a therian forum as well, but I will be looking forward to meeting other therians here. And furries of course.

welcome to the furry forums Kayla ^_^  im sure you'll have tons of fun from the chatter box and the forum games with all of us also you dont really have to draw a fursona to have one as long as its a concept in your head
