What kind of world does your fursona live in? What kind of society is there? Are there other intelligent races? Do they get along? What about fun things to do? What do the locals do for a living? Be serious, and don't skimp on the details. I'm super curious. I wanna publish literature in this fandom someday, so I need a lot of input. That way I can piece together something truly representative of the fandom, if only generically.

only half on topic i guess: i dont have a fursona, my sig explains why... but that aside, i dont know for sure if every fursona has its own world, hence the rolepaying section... i think that most of em live in the same world, and that the fursona's world is a alternative fantasy-reality
-
So are you asking for our "ideal" world, or the world our "fursona lives in"? Because it's kind of two completely different things to me...
-
Eh. You can pick one if you think it's contradictory.
-
Well my fursona's ideal world is nothing but small islands and tons of ships =P
My real life ideal world is set in a video game where anything can happen and you cannot die.
-
I don't think I'd play a video game like that.
-
Yeah, no challenge then. Without the risk of dying no one will be cautious.
-
Ok...good point...you start with 10 lives...
-
I can think of some stuff I'd try if I had ten lives to spare...
-
I would so jump off the highest buidling in the world.
-
My character orgins are that of a sort of pre-post apocolyptic Earth, when humans and furries are at war. The humans are defeated, but in the process, destroy all of technology, leading to a tool age world left for the furries. As time goes on as he grows older, his plane evolves into a med-evil society, on the brink of a Renisance.
-
They drive humans extinct? Whoa, that's more than war.
-
There are still humans in my character's world. But not that many, and most of those who are left are typically slaves, while the lucky ones able to stay hidden from the hunters (Think planet of the Apes), manage to form a loose colony established somewhere up north. The whole world itself is based off a campaign world I created for a game of D&D nearly 6 or 7 years ago.
-
My ideal world is a unique place... A small community. No one exactly the same.
In my word the laws of physics could be broken. People with broken legs could snap them back into place.
Something like that...
It would always be snowing, but would never be bitterly could, and never scorching hot.....
It'd be about 67 degrees all the time. There would be no crime.. No inhumanity.
-
Well i will liek mine to be a peaceful world where all get along with each other
-
Only furries, scallies, animals, no humans, fantasy-like style of life, no divide on races, no money (Lenin's dream, ehhh ;_;) 1000-800 years of life, no genetic diseases, no epidemics and wars, no prison (mistakes can be nullify by hard work), no countries or organized society, stupid sub-cultures, etc. World created from random souls of universe (if life within earth exists) if unit dies, soul automatically transfers to next dimension to start new adventure and learn brand new things (all existence is big lesson) Yes, you can compare it to Heaven cuz I don't believe that anything like this can happen on earth, humanity will die like rats. I don't know what fursona is so bleh. Sorry for my english >_>
I hope you take it seriously and it's not some stupid topic about games or jumping from buildings >_<
-
Humans are surprisingly resistant and adaptable.
-
I think my worlds teh best. :snicker:
Teehee
-
I would so jump off the highest buidling in the world.
Yeah, but would you be brave enough hehe?
I would anyway: I have wings!
But if I didn't I'd have a parachute.
Oh what the heck *Jumps off and doesn't use wings*
...
:squish:
*Ouch*
Nine lives left!
-
This has sort of gone off topic. I wonder if anyone has some genuine content to add. I guess I'll add mine. If furs and characters were real, in my ideal world the many different races(species) would respect each other and coexist. Really though I can only manage a less than ideal world, where at least my kind has its own country. You know what they say about good fences.
-
Suppose I would have to agree with you it would kinda be cute to see humans and furs interact ((Completely my opinion though.))
-
I've seen plenty of interaction. Problem is my kind is often on short end of the stick. We've had to put up with our share of persecution. We don't have special powers, and we're not physically threatening, so because there are a lot of us, furs think it's okay to just do whatever they want to us. At the very least we're looked down on.
-
My fursona lives in the World of Darkness. If anyone has played White Wolf games, then you know what I'm talking about. Definitely not the ideal world, but it's what I'm familiar with.
-

My ideal world might not be all piratey and such, but i do like the video game idea. I also think that a native american/animalistic beleif system would work out great, too; as it is a lot better and more interesting culture than western civilization/indutrialistic beleifs.
-
I like industry. I love big machines.
-
Technology is good, there's no doubt about that, but when it's taken to the extreme like it is in modern times; things can get a little out of hand. Same with industrialization, i see a river and i see a chance for food, this soldier person probably sees a chance for a new power factory. ickky big industry....
-
I see a trout farm. Lot's a food. :)
And define "extreme". Technology is naught but an indiscriminate tool.

Erm what furries do to you o-o what do you mean by that we do not think we are superior at least I am not all beings are equal in my eyes.
-
I just find it typical of furry fiction for humans to be either villainized or victimized.
-
FISH Frms aRE Bad though, >:| thE FISSHIES GET ALL DESEASEY and mud tastey.
-
Only if the farmer is lazy. Personally though I like caught fish much better, and I'd prefer the river stay a river. Hydroelectric damns have proven far too inefficient.
