I'm new to this whole scene. I'm not sure how any of this stuff works, I don't wanna say anything to offend anyone or anything like that. Feel free to message me or let me know on here some do's and don't's.

Welcome to the Forums! ^_^ I certainly hope you have a great time here, only thing I would recommend out right here is just reading the rules which can be found here (https://www.thefurryforum.com/forums/index.php?action=ezportal;sa=page;p=5) and get familiar with them just to not get in trouble with staff other than that, I do think you should be fine. I can certainly can tell you that most of the folks here are quite friendly and welcoming so no need to worry too much about that and also fee free to ask around it you have any specific questions, many would be happy to help you out including myself.

I'm Trixsie, welcome to the forums ^_^
I guess there's no absolute list of do's and don'ts, but two good places to start are the FAQ (https://www.thefurryforum.com/forums/index.php?action=ezportal;sa=page;p=4)and the rules (https://www.thefurryforum.com/forums/index.php?action=ezportal;sa=page;p=5)(which Vee has already linked).
But perhaps something which might be useful is to know there is no single way of being furry. Some furs have more than one character (fursona) some have only one. The degree to which you are "in character" various from member to member and context. For example serious RPs (roleplays) can be quite strict about breaking character, but generally we're all pretty casual about it.
Some people have (or plan to get) a fursuit and others have no interest in fursuiting.
Also I should mention that some furries are interested in a sexual or romantic aspect to the fandom and some are not, but as this is a PG13 forum public that is restricted to the Adult Area.
If you have any questions you can ask them in this thread or PM myself or another staff member if you'd rather. However I'm certain you'll find the other members friendly and helpful so feel free to look around and say hi!

No I'm in my mid 20's, lol. I've known about the furry community for a while, I just recently came across the forums. So I guess you could say that I've been living under a rock. XP
