Hi there, I just noticed the existence of this forum and I had to join in!

Following the suggestions of "Welcome to the Furry Forums!" post, I'd like to present myself as a female tanuki (also know as japanese raccoon dog).

Y'all can call me Brenny, or Bren for short, and I registered because I was always fascinated mostly by the art of the furry fandom, character design, etc, and I just recently had accepted that I have an animal that represents me. It's weird, but I love this feeling.

I'm mostly interested in writting, japanese culture, a bit of anime, a bit of programing, admiring art, psychology, and so on. I don't have many fandoms, but I like FNaF, Pkmn, Touhou, and others things I can't recall right now. I love instrumental music! And, well, I think as a tanuki, I have the hability of transformation.

Oh, by the way, I'm also intrigued by the furry fandom because it means a lot to me (like almost everyone reading this right now), but for a long time I tried to ignore this urgue thanks to silly teen me, hard times, no one to talk to about this, and other things. Any of you had these experiences I'm talking about?

Well, beside that, I'm happy to see an active forum in 2017 <3

Welcome to the Forums, Brenny!  ^_^    I hope you have a great time here, if you have any questions about the forums feel free to ask about, we are quite welcoming and friendly to all. also Tanuki's are so cute, don't think I've seen one around here before.

Very wide range of interests. That's good. More stuff to talk about
I've had a similar experience with some things. Not the fandom though. I had no idea this stuff existed until one day I stumbled onto a video and instantly joined on here. I know how silly teen trying to ignore things works like though. Nothing good. Also I've had my fair share of time alone.
You're in good paws here. I hope you'll have lots of fun and find friends :D

Welcome. I had similar feelings and was ashamed to associate with the feelings of being a furry. I hope you have a great time.

Whoa, such quick responses! Thanks for the nice welcoming words!

Looks like we all had our past then. That's okay and great actually, I think that makes this place more special. By the way, I hope I can make great friends in no time. My Skype is open for whoever wants to talk about interesting things with me!
