Title: New to all of this

Hi.... I'm new to this and pretty shy, but my life hasn't been all thy good lately so I'm trying to be more open and honest with myself. I have always felt like I wanted to be part of this fandom, but due to social constraints in the small town I live in, I've never felt comfortable even letting myself admit I like it. But I'm 21 and I feel it's time to really allow myself to be true and just have fun. So I'm coming here to try and make friends and maybe even write some stories. If you want to know more just ask.

I understand what you mean, social constraints are really not making being a furry any easier. But on here you can be open, no-one will judge you for anything! And if they do point me their way >.>

I used to be ashamed of being a furry.  But when I finally embraced this side of me and started talking to other furries, I got out of the bad depression I was in.  I felt liberated.  I hope you feel comfortable if you stick around.
