Title: Questions about headless lounges and partials
Post by: FoxtrotTheFur on June 28, 2017, 09:48:07 PM
Are partials allowed into headless lounges? I've never seen one enter personally but it gets quite hot and would be great to do so. I've checked convention websites for answers but I didn't find anything.
Any advice?

I've been into headless lounges while wearing a partial and noone's had any problems with that, and I think that's the case for pretty much all cons.
I guess asking the staff at the cons in question is the absolute safest bet tho.

Everyone with a suit, whether it be just a head, or a full drop-crotch plush fullsuit, is allowed in a headless lounge. Any con that says differently could have a lawsuit on their hands if someone passes out from heat exhaustion because they weren't allowed in, and they didn't want to take their head off around public eyes. If the con doesn't allow people with a partial or even just a head into a cool safe space, then I personally wouldn't support them by purchasing a badge.

Partials are allowed in the fursuit lounge. When talking about fursuits, there are no distinctions made between full suits and partial suits. These lounges are there to cool-down and therefor any kind of fursuiter is allowed in there, plus usually a handler.
From what I recall the two conventions I went to Confuzzled and Eurofurence) did mention this as well.

As for not seeing anyone enter these lounges as a partial, it's probably easier for a partial suiter to get around and whatnot more than for a full suiter x3
At least, that's been my personal experience.
