Title: A vent, or what do you call this?
Post by: Bricket on June 12, 2017, 02:59:23 AM
Before I get a comment stating it should be a personal diary: I have looked at this option but here it seems more suitable.

It's one of those f.-all feelings.
I moved from an appartment to an house, back in the "suburbs" and I have to get back used to that feeling of living here. No longer hearing cars but birds instead and other things. Ironically enough it doesn't calm me down at all, it stresses me out to be able to "relax".

Funny thing is that I felt more relaxed doing exams and just being busy, now therapy is coming along nicely but the void I have now of not having any kind of works allow me to think about past events causing any stress and other choices...

Moving is never easy unless you're moving away from people and problems associated with you're previous living arrangements. That said if it's a new area you're living in, have you explored around? You sound like the type to keep yourself busy, why not find some part time work or work on a personal project?

The suburbs are sooooo boring, don't let the quiet streets and lack of entertainment drive you mad.

THat's the thing, I already have so many projects yet I'm still getting stressed out of living calmly

Hmm it's likely just the feeling of dealing with the change. Living calmly shouldn't be a stressful thing, it's boring yeah, but its not like deadline stressing or people out looking for you type of stressing. How long has it been since you moved? Is this something that happens when you move normally?

Normally whilst moving I don't have this.
I moved more than 8 times in life, which is around every 2.5 years I move.

Now I'm back in a calm area and I'm getting stressed out because of the lack of noise and sound.
How odd this may sound

Why not go somewhere noisy then? Atleast spend the day in a busy place if it helps you focus more on work or helping you relax to be around busy people.

I tried that too, but I lose too much time in transportation
