I'll be happy to help with that, can you be a bit more specific though? What do you mean by "how could it be improved"?

Thanks for replying !
Just interested in understanding what its like to be a furry and like any things you would like to see be put in place?
Is it nice having a community of likeminded people ?
Really interested to find out all about your experiences !
:)

Being a furry is the same as being a sports fan to be honest. You watch the things you like, sometimes dress up as your favourite football player (or animal in our case), talk with other people that like the same thing. A lot of us here are very closed in real life, including myself. But with everyone around being the same it's much easier to start talking and make friends. Only bad thing about being in here is that a lot of people from outside have a lot of wrong ideas about what we're doing. But it's the same with other communities, only they have less stereotypes and more members, so they're generally better accepted.
It's pretty great to have others who think and feel the same about many things. As I mentioned before, it's much easier to make friends or even talk to someone in the first place. For the past year I've been around here I learned a lot of new ways to look at things and learned a lot about myself too. I'm slightly more open now, even though I still am and will be introverted. I've got friends all around the world, I've helped them and they helped me like if we knew each other for years.
For me this place isn't only about furry stuff, it's about being nice and open minded to everyone, and about having fun with friends, even if it's not the same as irl and only through text. And eventually we might meet some day and do the crazy things we talk about here.

No problem :) if you have any further questions you can ask them through a private message so we don't spam the thread too much

Hey there!
Being a furry, like what HellEye said is like being a sports fan. I've noticed that the people (and animals) here are more friendly than other groups of people I've met. They're all so...understanding and supportive. I like to consider us one big happy family (Head to the kissNcuddle den or the snack den for evidence). It's great being around people with similar interests and hobbies. This is also a great platform for talking about your own interests as well. I honestly wouldn't change a thing :)
Hope this helped

It's nice to be with a group of people with the same hobby. The furry fandom also helped me out with expressing myself with my creativity. It helps a lot. Also, there are a lot of different people in the furry fandom. You're free to be yourself, up to a certain point of course. Also, when I see a lot of fursuiters in one place I feel like a small kid again. The idea that there were human animals walking around just made me stare in awe, even when I knew they were just people in cuddly suits.
I've made a few friends around here in the time I've been here. I wish I could meet some of them in real life one day. So far, I've only met one member at a small con. Also, physical hugs.

For me it is a great place where there are no judgments and the people in it generally boost you up. There is a lot of creativity, whether the artwork or the stories. I can pretend to be a pink pokemon and nobody bats an eye. And the positivity around the places I have been have led to a more friendly atmosphere, which means more confidence which leads to more creativity. It is infectious in a good way for me.
