Hey guys, I've recently decided to try this whole "Furry" thing out. I love anthos but I don't really know where to start. I found this place and I'm hoping people will accept me, despite my lack of knowledge  :)

Welcome to the Forums ,Jibz!  :)   I wouldnt worry about that, mostly everyone here is really welcoming and friendly, for the forum I would just start by maybe exploring around, if you have questions dont be afraid to ask most would be more than happy to try to give a answer. Hope you enjoy your time here.
