So I'm new to the whole role-playing thing and I didn't know I was messing up when some one on Twitter told me I was. I finally figured out why no one wanted to role play with me and it kinda hurt my feelings. I thought I could make new friends but ended up making people avoid me. I don't what to do should I give up being a fur I mean I don't want to but I'm not experienced at it as I thought I was. :'( :'( :'( :'(

Trust me, don't beat yourself up. Nothing good comes out of that
And I'm not sure there is a right or wrong way to RP, as long as you follow the rules. Ignore the idiot on Twitter. However, if you want to RP like others do, read some RPs. See the style different people use. That's what I did. Good thing I did too, first RP I joined I was an alpha male wolf in the biggest, most active pack x_x Was great, if a little unnerving

One thing most roleplayers like is a balance of detail and time. What is your character doing? What are they feeling? What are they thinking? What are they dressed in? Usually one paragraph is good for a single chat post, as it is usually enough to give enough detail while not taking too long to put out. The more you can feel immersed in the story and immerse others in the story, the better.
