I noticed you asked "Can someone give me advice on what to do at my first furry convention" and no one yet responded!
Well! :D
We have boards dedicated for meet-ups and conventions, as well as a Fursuiting and Cosplaying board. You can also always check out our Rants and Advice board ^^
As for what I would advise? x3
I assume you're not fursuiting, but be careful of fursuiters. They have trouble seeing, have less vision than... well... not wearing a fursuit head xD
And if you want to hug tem, please make sure you make contact and ask them. Don't surprise hug them.
There are many other tips, but those are the ones I can think of now, hope this helps!
