Title: Opinion on my rp for the kingdom of Endelium.
Post by: Lacar Lacrest on April 03, 2017, 12:23:33 PM
Hello everyone, I'm trying to get opinions on my first rp. I'm trying to start a medieval (also slight use of fire arms such as muskets but the much early designs of them)rp of my own design and thought. I'm working on four different kingdoms all of which are unique in they're own ways. I wanted some opinions on this idea, if a lot of people seem to like this I'll post the four kingdoms as well. I poured quite a bit of work into these kingdoms which is why if the rp starts I'll control NPC and play all four kings. My idea is to let you pick anything you want, you do not have to be a strong knight or hero, you can be a trader or blacksmith but you still may have to fight in the war. I'll also allow your alls actions change the outcome of the war. I really want this to be a thing so I hope for lots of comments and questions.

By chance does your world have room for my kingdom of Gaarven? X3 I'm trying really hard to stick my kingdom somewhere, as though I have the kingdom map, I cannot think of the world map for the life of me. Its king is King James Kleinarch, who is a fennec fox. It's capital is Soldusm. I have it stated in its canon that its slightly more technologically advanced than it's neighbors, and wants nothing more to appease Soldusm, their goddess. (Not to be confused with the city named after her)

Hmm, I don't see why not but I'll need details such as military might, tech, advantages and disadvantages in war, and what you king believes in(why he is fighting in the war)

Well, First off I'll need to know if magic exists, as the two separate canons are very much so different x3

I'm interested in this, and I'd be happy to contribute to the plot if anything comes to mind.

Gaarven has a long history of "shutting everyone else out" They hardly ever trade, many citizens never leave the country. There military is laughably small, no more than 12 legions to the army's name. However, each soldier may as well be a legion, they are highly skilled, not a bunch of citizens jumbled together. They specialize in strategic ways, if forced to go head on, they will not do nearly as well. Magic is... Special in Gaarven. Almost anyone can become a notable mage, just by devoting part of their being to Soldusm. James may be at war for a simple of a reason as "Soldusm wills it". The capital is nearly impenetrable, as the prince lives there, and trust me, you don't want to mess with the prince. Prince Maximillian James Kleinarch, 7th heir to the throne of Gaarven is the chosen of Soldusm. He knows every form of magic known to furkind, and beyond. He's extremely emotionally unstable however. The kingdom is relatively peaceful, but definitely don't like their neighbors.
