Just a short thing to get my thoughts in order.
My bestest best friend is really sad. He said he doesn't want to talk about it, and he'll tell me when he's ready. It's just so damn hard not being able to comfort him or listen to him, and whatever happened got him really bad. I need to just accept that and send him cute owl pictures in the mean time, but I really want to know what make him so sad/down. It makes me upset that I can't help him at all, and anything I do doesn't seem to help right now.
I'll hold fast and be online whenever I can until he's ready. I have digital warm blankets and digital hugs prepared.

Well when I was in situations like he seems to be in, the best thing you can do is just let them know you're there to listen to him, and if he doesn't take your offer yet you wait for him to get back to you. When people are grieving most of the time they just need some time alone to think things over before they seek help from others, which seems like what he's doing.
I wouldn't worry, you seem like the type of person they'd want around in a situation like this. Good luck to both of you!

Also don't feel bad or that you are not helping him. You did nothing wrong. Give him his time and make sure when he comes back to support him at the fullest. It's important tho not to feel bad yourself because honestly you did nothing wrong. :)

We played Warcraft for 5 hours today, and he sounded much much better by the end, which fills me with relief. He said it's annoying that I make him smile even when he's upset. He wants to stew in negativity XD Even if it's just for a bit, he sounded better. Thanks guys <3

I am happy everything ended up well ^^
Just make sure to support him constantly and if he needs time to cool off (just like this time) make sure to give him his space :)
