This Presidency is the first time I've really been old enough to be interested in politics and not just follow what is presented to me as fact. Let's judge Trump. Not on what he has said or done, but how he does as POTUS. His executive orders, his leadership, his appointments, his deals, his words, everything after inauguration comes into play now. We are not judging Congress, just President Trump. I'm quite curious to see both if this thread can stay relevant and if so, see the change in opinion over his term as President. Poll will stay open as long as Trump is President, feel free to change your vote as many times as you like.

Knowing that the majority of the furry community is left leaning I expect to see this coming back in this.
I hope that Trump will do so well that democrats will vote for his re-election

Personally, I disagree with the majority of his opinions and policies. However, I don't want to see him be a failure, I want him to do well and surprise us. As much as I would also like to see him be impeached, that wouldn't make things any better because of Pence, like Bricket said.
Honestly, from his first days in office I'm concerned, but I'll keep hoping things will go well and doing what I can to stand up for our rights. Cheers to all of you ^_^

Personally, I hate the thin-skinned, narcissistic liar with every fiber of my being. That being said though, for the sake of the country, I hope he does a good job. I don't have high hopes for him based on the make up of his cabinet and his attitude, but we will see.

The thing is though, all Executive Orders have to be approved by Congress before they can take effect. They most likely will be though.
I am very suspicious of his motives with the pipelines since he owns stock in the companies laying the pipes.

His first of many executive orders was to kill a bill that would have saved low income families up to $500 a year he then went on to sign another executive order destroying the hard fought victory of eveyone at standing rock. His first day in office he had the white house website scrubbed of any mention of climate change, civil rights, and immigration. The wall is noaw gonna come from the taxpayers pockets, his cabinet consists of people either unqualified for the offices they hold or have conflicts of interest with the office they hold. Hes silenced any goverment agency that questions him on any social media, including twitter im mean its not like he goes of on special snowflake rants on twitter all the time himself when some says something that hurts his delicate little feelings. Hes bragged about sexual assualt I women, was about to face charges of sexual assault of a minor that somehow went away once he was elected and he defended a forgien power against evidence of cyber crimes gathered by our own intelligence community (thats called treason) because hes a "very smart person"
Hes clearly a narcissist, yas look it up it fits his personality to a T, yes we have a mentally ill president. He appointed his own son in law to a key staff posistion a move that violate us laws. He wants to go back to iraq and take the oil, yes he wants to violate laws of war and his staff all have private rnc email accounts, hypocritical much?
But heres the best one. Under trump the US has been downgraded from a full democracy to a flawed one. He is the end of democracy hes pointing out that hes in charge and hes gonna sign every executive order he has to to prove it. I go to bed every night afraid im gonna wake up in the morning and find out hes snuffed out freedom speech, that now to question him is met with a prison sentence or worse. Or that im gonna wake up and find out he launched nukes following a late night quiet session of congress without anyones knowledge. I wait for the executive order that suspends american freedoms and civil liberties. It wont be long until he cuts minimum wage to nothing and forces people to work for slave labor
This is the end of america i only hope he doesnt destroy the whole world in nuclear armageddon innthe process of destroying us

Ok well i think Kalan is being a little bit dramatic, I personally don't like him and would have preferred Sanders or Stein but we had a democratic vote about it and I trust that the system knows what it's doing enough to keep the people's trust in it. I do hope with every bit that he'll be the best president this country has ever had because A) we need that right now (look at the state of the world) and B) it'll make all the people who rioted his election look like even bigger douchebags then they already do.
God help trump make America great again, it'll be a big job but I have (cautious) optimism on it :)
