Hi there, Qianru here.
I don't know much about the Furry community, and honestly, I've never felt particularly drawn towards it.
But recently, I've been doing a little research, watching YouTube videos here and there, and something about the community seems very endearing. Despite the stigma regarding the furry community, it seems to be comprised of a lot of very nice, accepting/open-minded individuals who just like anthropomorphic animals... much of whom appear to be artists and musicians, of which I am both.
And although I have no great passion for anthropomorphic animals, that could just be because I haven't submerged myself in the culture and taken the time to really know it, and therefore I don't completely understand what it's all about. So more or less, I'm here to learn and ultimately, to see if this is a community I fit into.
Maybe eventually some of you could even help me develop a "fursona"?
Enough about me. I'm beginning to ramble. If anyone can come up with good questions for me to answer, I'd greatly appreciate it. You can probably tell I'm not very good at this.

Welcome, Qianru! Everyone here for the most part is very welcoming and friendly and I do believe there are places here to help with development of fursona, I'm probably not the most helpful for answering questions but I know more who will be way more help will come along. so Cheers, I hope you have a nice time, exploring n such ^_^

Well hi Qianru :D
I started out in much the same way. I just found out there was a furry fandom and this was my place to start my investigation and discovery :P
I did start with a fursona, or at least something that could represent me on these forums. But I never thought it would grow out to be a fully-fledged fursona!
Anyways! I hope to see you around here more often :3
If you have artwork and/or music to share, we got boards specifically dedicated to those. So feel free to go there and show us your stuff ;D
(I for sure would like to see and hear what you make!)

Glad you decided to check us out :D
One of the great things about the furry fandom is that you can just enjoy the bits of it you like. For me, yes I think antro animals are cool, but I think lots of things are cool I guess. However, like you, I have a passion for art and music and creativity in general, so I find myself at home here.
As it happens my first attempt at a fursona kinda stuck and now I love my dear muddle-headed Trixsie. So I've never changed.
