So basically I find I don't have enough straight friends, and don't know how to make them, as I don't have much in common with straight people. =\ Can anyone help me?

That usually has nothing to do with being gay or straight. I don't know what might go wrong or has gone wrong, but regardless...
I would suggest, to specifically answer your question, to go to uhm... Hmm... I don't have any clue... I was thinking of suggesting to go to a real straight bar, but... not only might that be hard, but I am not sure if those people are very tolerant.

The straight ones have been a lot nicer to me than all the LGBT ones combined.

Well yeah I'll be the first to admit alot of gay folk arent the nicest around I think its just the nasties are more apparent in smaller groups but overall if you want more straight friends simply find em irl its not to hard. [REMOVED]

Anyways, I've seen a lot of problematic people in my life of any orientation. It has nothing to do with their orientation, but with their personalities and the groups they're hanging out with. I tend to avoid groups and try to connect with others on a personal level. Because of this I don't have many friends, but it does allow me to bond better with the friends I do make.
Of course, this might not work for you. But what I do recommend is that when you want to make friends with someone or get into a group, you look at how they are. Either as group or as individual. Sure, some might seem nice initially and then turn out to be bad. And good friends can change into bad friends. You always have that risk, no matter if they're straight, gay, bi, ace or whatever.

I've got to admit: this title is quite the eyecatcher.
Sexuality is not the problem, but the mentality around it and how people act with it.
You have horrible gay people who all want to act to the most special snowflake there is, and then you have the best peopel who tend to be gay.
My advice: don't search for a specific type of sexuality, but search for the nice people; not the assholes

Yeah man, straight people can be rude too. If you find a straight friend and they're a jerk to you too, then are you gonna hate straight people? What then...?
Also, what does you "don't have much in common with straight people"? I'm assuming you're gay yourself? If so, then you could find other things to base forming friendships off of. Surely you have hobbies or even favorite bands/tv shows/whatever you could bond over. The fact that you're using orientation to try and make friends is probably part of the problem ;P
