So right off the bat i would like to say that I'm still very new to this community but have been a big fan and have appropriated it for a long time! finally I'm going to try and come out of my comfort zone and be a part of a community. I still have a lot i want to learn and read.
I am a leopard Gecko with light purple skin (which is my favorite color), black markings, and blue green eyes. I love to draw and have always been drawn to peoples fursona art. Its always so amazingly beautiful.
I enjoy being nice and warm. cuddled up under a big blanket and playing my PC games.
I don't really know what else to say but that i hope i can make some friends here. I tend to be a bit withdrawn and shy but i really want to break away from that a bit and make some friends,

I see Baud already made a nice welcome-post as well. Basically I would be saying the same thing. Feel free to explore this forum. We have an Art board (https://www.thefurryforum.com/forums/index.php?board=4.0) if you want to show off your artwork on there.

Hi Fable, welcome to the forums! :D
Since not only you're new to this place, but to the fandom too, I suggest you to take your time and explore the forum, read all the sticked threads on each board to learn more about the community! Also, there are a lot of friendly fellows here, so making new friends shouldn't be a problem! If you want you can even create an art thread to show off some of your work, or link your DA / FA account to your forum profile (if you have them, of course).

Um... I like to read but don't always have the time for it. Other then that i guess I'm pretty boring. reading, drawing, and gaming are all i can think of.

I am a bit of a nerd when it comes to Harry Potter, Maximum Ride (great sires!!) and other fantasy books, other then those i try to read a lot of poetry (Edgar Allen Poe is my favorite) and i read a lot of old classical epics. The Iliad and the Odyssey would be my best example.
Game wise i play a lot of... calm? games. Things like Pokemon, Stardew valley, harvest moon. But then also really enjoy games like the binding of isaac and darkest dungeon which are a little more fast paced and demanding of games.
What kind of books and games are you interested in (if those are things you are interested in) Ventus Fall? (also i apologize that i haven't already said this but your picture is amazingly gorgeous and uses color amazingly well.)

In a joking manner, of course. I think many of us are nerds in one way or another. I knowfor sure I am with certain things as well :P (As you might soon find out.)

Well, I really enjoy the book series by Elizibeth Haydon. Here is a brief overview of the series, called: Symphony Of Ages => https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symphony_of_Ages
Another series I enjoy is called The Aquasilva Trilogy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anselm_Audley#The_Aquasilva_Trilogy
I also like to read a lot of other books as well, and I have read some Harry Potter books as well, they were quite enjoyable too ^_^
As for games (yes, I like Pokémon too, but I've only played and had an interest in the first three generation of Pokémon) I enjoy playing Halo a lot. (If you head to the Video & Traditional Games board, you'll be able to see a topic I made there on Halo :P)
While it is a shooter, it's science-fiction, it's about aliens, space, etc. And yes, with this I am a huge nerd in XD I know the franchise has its flaws, but at the same time the lore is so huge. It's not only playing games anymorefor me when it comes to that franchise, it's also reading books about it, articles, watching visual novels and animations. They even made (at least) two movies. I won't go much further on a rant here about Halo, but yeah ;D
As for other games, I enjoy a variety of genres. Alien: Isolation is a game I'm terrified of playing, but I enjoy it. Titan Quest is a game which contains a variety of mythology (and I love mythology, another nerd-aspect of mine ;)).
