As you can see, I am Shin Majin, but you can call me Elric the tree griffon. Unsurprisingly, I am a furry.
I've always been fascinated by monsters and mythical creatures , my favorites being griffons, sphinxes, and sea serpents.My favorite real animals are pangolins and...plesiosaurs.
I love to roleplay, and I'm very fond of both tabletop games and video games, whether console, handheld, or PC. I also dabble in forum games.

I've been fascinated with dragons and other mythical creatures too ever since I was small. It's cool to see a griffon on here, surprisingly not many of those around. I was hoping to see one some day, and now I have ;D

[/size]Oh? Well, sure! I love talking about me. Elric is a tree griffon, which is a small subspecies of griffon about the size of a lynx. Much less powerful than regular griffons, they are excellent climbers, but clumsy flyers. They have the magical ability to fuse and harden their feathers into rock-like scales, and curl into an armored ball like an armadillo. The gem-like growth on their heads can emit a flash of light to blind and stun predators. They hunt like cats, striking at smaller prey from ambush.Elric in particular is lazy and socially awkward, but good-natured, forgiving, and gentle. He dabbles in alchemy, and fancies himself a scholar of strange magics.

Oh, that's very interesting! :D Did you invent the tree griffon subspecies by yourself or is it an already existing one in mythology and such? As you can see I don't know anything about griffons, even if I always liked mythological creatures. X3
The tree griffon is my creation. I don't believe standard griffons have a particularly deep mythology, save for great power and a taste for horse meat.
