What's everyone's opinions on wearing furry stuff out into public?
I occasionally wear my collar but only to quiet places like parks or at home etc.

I would wear ears and a collar in public, paw gloves in winter, if I had any of those things. Same with a tail at home.

Hmm, I see. I never have the courage to wear ears or collars out in public. However, I do have headphones with ears on them if that counts. I just don't wear them to school.

I've worn collars in public before. They seem to go through phases of being the "in" fashion so usually I don't get any odd looks. Halloween I usually make full use of and wear ears and a tail. I need a wolf hat for winter this year with ears.

I have no furry gear to wear. :'(
But! If I did, I'd really like to wear it around town! Though I might be too scared to do it myself. I used to do it with a friend when I lived with her, but not anymore. But I wear weird stuff all the time, so I should be used to the "huh?" look by now, I suppose. :P

Same as me, still using Collars or Furry Ears in Public is fine, always depends on context XD .

My collar was my first dogs' collar that passed away about 5 years ago. I wore it even before I learned about the furry fandom.
I actually just ordered a leather collar with a nordic/celtic design on it with my fursonas' name (which is also a play on words of my old dogs' name) since his collar is starting to fall apart.
But yep, I wear it most everywhere, not at work only because I don't want it to get wet (my supervisor is totally fine with it, but chlorinated pool water is not the best thing to have nylon or leather get wet in XD )
If people say anything (which most who do just say its cute or w/e) I just say its memento of my pet.
I might make a smaller Nori tail when I go to meetups and cons and I'm not in suit, I'm not sure yet.

I've got a collar I wear for fashion's sake if I feel like it, as well as having also ordered a new (more 'furry') one from the same place as Nori. (She showed me the place for the new one). As for ears/tails? I have some solid ears, but haven't touched them in AGES. The band is probably dead by now. I have a tail, but haven't worn it really at all.
I also have a bat hoodie that has ears and wings on the arms, if that counts. lol

I wear a tail in public sometimes.
Some prudish people will give you ugly looks others absolutely adore it.
And at school some people would tease about it but in an endearing way and I actually got respect from some people for just not giving a shit.

I used to wear a collar all the time, for ~6ish years and I still would if it didn't clash with my current fashion sense ;P Most people didn't care, the only awkward part was when people came up to read the tags that had my fursona's name on them, so I had to explain things a bit. In winter I have a couple hats with animal ears, but those are fashionable right now so it doesn't matter ^^

If I had a collar I'd wear it they just look like fancy chokers and I saw someone at school wearing one but I don't think I could do ears and tail just yet

I mainly wear a tail at work for Halloween. Gonna be interesting doing it this year. Too bad I'm not at my favorite store that night, though.
