There's a virus going around on MSN! I'm not sure what kind of virus it is...but the link for them are exactly like the one below. DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINKS!! then if you do you'll send that same link to everyone you chat with!!
sample line of what the link looks like:
"are these your pics ? http://msgrpics.net/?msn="
the link will come up as soon as you open a chat window with someone!!

I had something like that on AIM once on my old computer. I don't think I ever got rid of the pop-ups. :squish:
I basically go with a rule where if I get a link from someone before they say "hi" or something, I either ask what it is or just ignore it. Another thing is you can sometimes notice if things like that aren't written in the way your buddy would normally write, for example if they use "ur" all the time instead of "your," it would be suspicious if they sent a link like that using "your."

there is one thing on MSN that has been existing longer then smilies... virus spreading..... nah, i made that up, but viruses have been spreaded by MSN for as long as i can remember, never click a link without being certain that it isnt fake
