There's an old saying that this was passed down by genetic. Or has science gone too far? The answer has always been a mystery to the world. Anthros are changing, it seems they are now mutating, some sort of Ontogeny whether it starts at birth or throughout the years of their lives. Gaining these... abnormal abilities. you'd hear in damn fairytales.
The populace of the world grew distressed, so what did we do? The nations of the world banned together and rounded up these freaks. Putting them into facility's scattered across the world. However the main and most popular facility is located in Alaska. Anthros imported or Captured by the facility, who are then locked up.
This is the G.D.R.S (Goverments; Defend, Restrain, Study) Facility is known as Helix...(http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160907/7d7d57d637f5db68110fc73d2cd79bc4.jpg)

It was early morning in Alaska. Zaida already awake... Probably haven't slept remained under her bed in the corner of the cell. She stared at the large window across her cell, eventually resting her head. The monster tapped her claws against the cold steal floor while her tail swayed slowly from side to side. She waited ever so patiently, growing familiar with the schedule. 'Its not long before breakfast...' she thought hungrily to herself.
-
Bailey opened the door that lead into the cell area. Behind him we're two armed guards and a cook with a large roller with food on it. Bailey went down each cell asking the same thing, "Prisoner. Apply." They would say their name and ID then they would be handed their food. He went all the way down until he reached Zaida's.
"Prisoner.... Apply" He said with a stern voice.
-
Ray stumbled into the cell block, pulling his helmet on as quick as he could. He looked around to make sure no-one had seen him (as vain as that may be), before attempting to catch up with Bailey.
-
Valdis remained under the bed, shadowing herself from the lights in her cell. They beamed slightly brighter than the other cells due to her ability as a precaution that she didn't have any sort of advantages "...Valdis. V11." she hissed coldly, eager to receive her food.
-
*Red laid of his bed, before chuckling and sitting up* "Time to break my fast."*He rested his head in his gloved hands*
-
Bailey scanned the room trying to find her, he then chuckled, "You're always under that bed, don't know why I never think of looking under there first." He opened the sliding panel in the door and slid the plate of food into the cell.
As he got back up from putting the food into the cell he turned his head and looked over at Ray, "Ray! I'm sick of you being late! Next time you do this I'll have you detained in one of these cells with these things!"
-
"Well maybe if this damn facility dimmed the lights just a little bit, mine are constantly on it hurts my damn eyes." Valdis huffed quietly. She crawled out from under the bed to her feet. Sitting down and leaning her back against the door as she began to eat her food on the tray.
-
Ray stopped and saluted. "Sorry, sir! My locker jammed up again!"
-
Bailey's attention went towards Zaida, "I'll talk to administration about it. Don't get your hopes high, I like it bright so I can see guys." He then looked over at Ray, "Follow now." He began to walk back towards the exit of the cell block.
"Ray, you need a new locker." He said with a smile, "Don't be late again, because if you're late then I get in trouble because my men aren't listening and are constantly late." He sighed, "You understand me?"
-
*Red sat silently*
-
Ray nodded. "Yessir."

Name/facility name: Robin "Bricket" Tombers /RT 4

Ability: Reading others mind and manipulating
Personality: charming, smart, humourous, cynical and nihilistic
Clothes: Jumpsuit, nothing special.
Extra: Using too much of his ability at once can make him quite agressive
-
A few hours had past, and the guards made their way towards the cell block once again. Bailey followed and once he got to the cell block he opened the door, and the guards stormed towards each cell door. Bailey stood in place.
"Prisoners! Stand in the back of your cells! Failure to comply with result in amputation, once the doors open you will have your precautions put on. If you resist you will be amputated, if you attack you will be amputated. Anyone who speaks or makes a sound will be detained!" Bailey yelled, he looked at the guards and nodded his head. The doors opened and the guards moved in.
-
*Red got up and stepped towards the back, he thought for a few seconds before stretching his legs abit*
-
Bricket got up from his Easy Pose, got up and stood up against the wall.
He let a sigh of disbelief: 'How lovely how we're treated. What did we do wrong'.
Knowing what would come he keeps standing at the wall looking at the guard right in front of him in the other side of the door
-
Zaida followed orders, she got back to her feet and stood at the back, folding her hands in front of her. The guards rushed in holding her firmly, putting on her precautions which she had to wear when outside her cell. They first put her muzzle on tightly. Afterwards they put on her magnetic cuffs, activating them it pulled both her hands behind her back locking together. The guards then escorted her out of her cell.
-
The guards entered the cell where Bricket was in.
He could tell from the way they looked at him what they could be thinking.
First the handcuffs were put on to make sure he couldn't fight back.
Then the headband followed. It was an awful think, if he would try to figure out what someone else was thinking he would feel slowly but surely building up agonizing pain. Same thing if the tried to manipulate someone.
Bricket was then escorted out of his cell
-
Bailey looked at the line of people he then looked over at the guards standing behind him, these weren't normal guards. This was the Prospekt Unit (http://orig03.deviantart.net/370c/f/2014/325/c/a/half_life_2___metrocop_domination_by_rhedd999-d877723.jpg). Elite guards trained for fighting and taking down the most aggressive of prisoners. Bailey mumbled to them, "You two escort them to the yard." The two Prospekt Units nodded, "Affirmative" They're voices we're robotic and menacing.
The two moved forward towards the line, "Overwatch this is Prospekt Unit reporting in." A voice could be heard in the background saying, "Apply." The Prospekt guard responded, "889." The chatter continued, "Prospekt Unit move forward towards yard." The guards responded, "Roger that Overwatch."
The units looked at the group and made them follow them towards the yard. Once they got there they let them go but watched them closely
-
*Red looked at his gloved hands as he was let put into the yard, they were tightened enough so that any effort to remove them would be visible enough to guards and the likes*
-
Bricket looked in the yards at the others
'look how fortunate we are, look how free we are.'
He looked at the guards and chuckled on his thought: 'look at them, thinking we're the worst of the worst. A while ago we lived next to eachother. Now we're both enemies, for what?'
-
The yard was indoors since it was far too cold outside, however some windows from above let some sunlight inside. Zaida unable to do anything just plopped down on the floor. Her ears leaned back as she watched the other inmates and he guards watching. Spotting a ball for ping pong she just hit it back and forth between her feet to entertain herself. 'Hell its better than being in that cell doing nothing...'
-
*Red glanced at the guards, his blood boiled just by looking at them*
"Those damn Prospekts.... No damn respect for anyone but their superior, I question if they have any ounce of soul in those suits"*He growled before calming himself*
-
Bricket walked around then decided to sit down on a chair and look at the windows.
"You know, I would love to be outside right now. I don't care if I would freeze to death, I just want to feel the outside air again" he mumbles to himself slowly day dreaming away looking at the window
-
*Red sat on the ground, napping abit*
-
One of the Prospekts begins to hear chatter over the radio, "Possible 45C in Sector-E over." The two prospekt units respond, "Copy that, will proceed to investigate over.... Overwatch this is Prospekt Unit reporting in." Overwatch responded, "Apply." The Prospekts responded, "889. We will be proceeding towards Sector-E for a possible 45C over." Overwatch responded once again, "Proceeded with caution, multiple Non registered Bio-Organism in that area. I repeat proceed with caution."
The two Prospekt units left, only four guards stood at guard. They we're normal guards.
-
Bricket got up from his seat and started wandering around keeping the guards in mind. A reptilian with horns pulled his attention, he walked towards it "I guess you're not here for the baking contests with those gloves I see." Said Bricket trying to break the ice;
-
"Heh. Nice one but kinda crumby if you ask me"*He chuckled loking up at the wolf*
-
"I'm Bricket, your name is?" Asks Bricket whilst he takes a seat on the ground next to the interesting reptilian
-
Bailey could be seen walking into the yard. He looked at the group of people then his eyes meet Zaida. He stepped towards her and stood over her, "You. You're Zaida. Z11 am I correct?"
-
"Red."*He said leaning back lazily*"Red Locus."
-
She stopped playing with the little ping pong ball, allowing it to roll off. Zaida bowed her head and in a muffled voice responded. "That's correct, sir."
-
Due to being a feral, Raz was put into a neighboring wing to the anthros, the feral having large cells but being more fortified.
Raz patiently laid in his cell, stomach grumbling as it had seemed that they forgot his food again and when the sensor on Raz's collar sense this, it paged one of the guards near Bailey to notify him of this hiccup.
Meanwhile, Raz decided to try and make something out of his old stale leftover food and he started to make a small little house out of old, stale crackers.
-
"Red Locus?, Interesting." Bricket leaned back so much it would look more like he is lying than sitting, "So what are you in far?" asks he whilst laughing.
-
"You know the answer to that well"*M.S said, a dash of cold anger in his voice although it wasn't directed at Robin
-
Bailey looked down at a radio at his belt and picked it up, "Overwatch this is Officer Stowe ID 115." Overwatch responded, "What is your request sir?" Bailey responded, "I need a Prospekt Unit dispatched at Sector-F with a Cook, feral's need food." Overwatch responded again, "Affirmative, Prospekt Unit ID 887 report to cafetiere please." Stowe put the radio back and helped Zaida up.
He looked at the strait jacket and muzzle. "Your jacket is getting replaced. This thing is old and we need a new one." He pulled the radio out again, "I need two available units at Sector-Y over." Two guards came into the yard and stood next to Bailey, "Z11 follow." He said while gesturing towards her.
-
"Yeah well, I guess we're all in for the same thing: being ourselves."
He turns his head and looks at Red "that would make you angry, wouldn't it?"
-
If there was one thing Raz liked about this place, it was hearing the squeaky wheel on the food cart as it rolled down the sector, and as he waited, he got hungrier and hungrier, waiting for the food.
-
"It does."*He said clenching his fist*"Oh, what I would give to throw a dumbell through a Propekt's skull"*He sighed and loosened his fist, calming himself once more*
-
"I would get angry too you know." Bricket stares at the guards "Look at them, they're thinking we're the scum of the earth whilst a while ago we walked along them down the streets. They think they're better than us, wouldn't it be great if someone would teach them a lesson?"
He gets up of a upcoming cramp "gotta walk this one off" says he whilst he starts walking in hope the upcoming cramp would go away.
-
*He folloed him*"We all bleed, no matter how different we are and yet they treat us like inhuman creatures"
-
"Indeed we all bleed, but don't you wonder how they bleed sometimes? And how they would react if they would see us being the stronger ones?"
Bricket started to have a small smile, "Let's be honest here: we're the true rulers of the world and they're merely the destined slaves, don't you think?"
He stops walking and looks at Red, "think about it? What's holding us back?"
Acting being tired he takes a seat: "before I got here I was a fit man, now I'm merely a wreck. What do they want from us?"
-
*Red sighed*"They envy us, bricket"*He chuckled lightly before rubbing his chin*"If they didn't have the upper hand what would happen?"*He smirked*
-
Zaida was a bit skeptical but didn't fight or question it. However once she thought about it, she wasn't the best behaved innate in the facility. With a small nod the monster followed orders by following to receive new precautions.
-
"They would beg for the mercy they will not get." Answered Bricket whilst looking red dead in the eyes, "why should we grand them mercy?" He asks whilst having a smirk
-
The Prospekt unit unlocked the door to the Feral yard. The cook placed a few plates onto the ground and the Prospekt unit grabbed them and placed them all across the room. He turned around and headed out with the cook.
Bailey took Zaida towards Sector-X, Sector-X was we're all of the worst inmates are sent. Bailey turned his head towards Zaida, "You aren't the most behaved inmate in this facility. We've had incidents with you and we want to help you." He opened a door and inside the room was a table and two chairs. Three Prospekt Units stood with weapons drawn. Bailey pointed at the chair, "Sit please."
-
"I sure as hell wouldn't, they've pulled us from our homes and slaughtered those whou wouldn't comply"*He gripped the table*"How long has it been seen we've seen our Friends and Family?"
-
"I don't know, I've been here for a while now." Bricket looks quite sad at Red, "do you remember how your friends even look like?"
-
There was a slight pause as Zaida studied the room. She then cautiously entered, approaching the table and chairs she sat in one. She kept a straight face while patiently waiting, a small sigh escaped her mouth as she looked down at her lap. 'Help? the thought of getting help, made her a bit nervous.
-
A doctor entered the room, he was a short ferret with round glasses. He sat down and smiled, "Good evening Z11. My name is Doctor Adam Georgia. I'm here to ask you a variety of questions on your psych and your early life." He smiled again, "You ready?"
The Prospekt Unit in the back began to chat over the radio, "Z11 is in Sector-X over." Overwatch responded, "Roger that."
-
She looked over at the ferret Doctor that entered the room. "...Like therapy?" Zaida asked with a cold huff. "I don't really have a choice anyways, I guess so.. I'm ready." She murmured with a light shrug.
-
Adam sighed and frowned, "I'm sorry that you have too be in this place." The Prospekt Unit looked at Adam, Adam coughed and opened a black notebook. "Question 1. What was your life like before you gained these powers, or what was it like growing up with these powers if you've had them your whole life."
-
'Yea, I'm sure you're sorry' she thought to herself slightly aggravated. "..Normal, had a family, went to school, stuff like that." She answered. "I wasn't born with it, as I grew up it started to develop."
-
Adam nodded his head and began to write into the notebook he then asked another question, "Question 2. When did you start to develop these powers?"
-
"I don't know..." She mumbled. "When I was a teenager?" Zaida said however not sure the exact age.
-
He did the same action, he wrote down notes in his book. "Question 3...." He stopped and put the book down, "Question 3. Do you want to go home?"
-
Zaida had been staring at the ferret the whole time, now making eye contact. "I don't have a home to go back to anymore. But yes, I would like to get out of this damn facility." She answered coldly.
-
Adam sighed and adjusted his glasses. He read the book again, "Final question. Question 4. How, why and when did you get taken to this facility?"
-
"I was hurting myself, I was hurting others, I can't control myself sometimes." She answered plainly, looking back down at her lap. "Helping." She scoffed under her muzzle.
-
When the food arrived to Raz's cell, he swiftly went to eating, actually enjoying the food, and halfway through him eating, a guard lakes into Raz's cage and simply kicked his food away, "Shut it dragon, your eating is **censor** disgusting!", Raz was a bit surprised by the action but was nonthless offended, retaliating by pouncing on the guard and keeping him pinned down, and then throwing him against the walls of his cell, nearly killing the guard until another one noticed the commotion and pressed the button to activate Raz's shock collar making him double back which was just enough time for the other guard to escape, leaving Raz still in a fit, picking off pieces of food off of the floor, growling at any guard that came close to his cell.
-
Ray was wandering the halls, holding his rifle in front of himself, twirling it through the air as he walked. When he spotted the Prospekt units, he froze, and the spiraling rifle fell through the air, bouncing off of his head and clattering across the floor. He remained still, one foot hanging in the air and his arms outstretched to the right.
-
"No"*He sighed holding his head*
-
"Trust me, I start to forget them too. Soon I will even forget how my family even looks like whilst these guards can go home when their shift is over." Sighed Bricket whilst saying this "I would love to take revenge on them, on these guards, we have the power to do it yet we're caged here like circus animals"
-
shoon just laid on the floor in the yard, he hated walking in and ou of there not being able to see a thing.
he heard the noises of others passing by, already used to him laying there doing nothing.
-
Raz decided to try to escape again, repeatedly slamming into his cell door, trying to break it down, a creaking noise coming from it after a little while, and it seems that he damaged the collar sensor that'd cause a shock to him if he became unruly, but creaking is all it did, the metal didn't break the way Raz wanted to, just the electronic lock jammed the door on both sides and needed a system override to unlock it.
A guard came by and swiped a card on a panel and Raz's cell door opened then the guard aimed their rifle at Raz, "Dragon, out! Now!", Raz grumbled and followed the guard through the facility to Shoon and opened their cell too, pointing the rifle at Shoon too, giving them the same command.

*Nixon over heard bricket talking while he was laying on the ground looking at the ceiling.*
"And attacking them would help how? Don't get me wrong I have a family too and everything it's just I would rather not die."
*trying not to sound mean or depressed.*
-
"And why don't you shout it for everyone so they can hear it loud and clear?" Says Bricket whilst he turns his head towards the new conversation partner "Unless you don't want to get put in an even smaller cage I suggest to speak a bit quieter."
He bends a bit forwards to get more on the level of Nixon "What's your name actually?"
-
"Trust me, I start to forget them too. Soon I will even forget how my family even looks like whilst these guards can go home when their shift is over." Sighed Bricket whilst saying this "I would love to take revenge on them, on these guards, we have the power to do it yet we're caged here like circus animals"
"It's not the guards who i'd target"*He said, before rubbing his nose horn gently, cleaning it of some dust*"It's the Prospekts... They live for our suffering, they never leave and they relentlessly march these hall Rumors are that they're some kind of brainwashed mooks, But I don't believe that shit"*He chuckled, scratching his cheek*"They hate us more then the usual guards do, and aren't as good conversation material as normal guards"
-
Still looking at the new conversation partner he talks to Red "I don't like being here at all. Way too many years I've been here and they keep sending in more and more of us. If you want you can stay here but I want to get out."
-
*with out hesitation Nixon responds to brickets question happily.*
"Nixon! Nixon is the name and sound is my game! And who are you tall sir? I would love to get out but without the killing."
*Nixon was beginning to worry about bricket and his friend. This suit might protect from sound but it doesn't from a punch.*
-
Bailey sat in the back of the room watching Adam ask questions, his radio then went off. "Hey boss, we got a 1PDA. Prisoner is ID R-42." Bailey grumbled, "Prospekt Unit head down too Sector-C and detain Prisoner ID R-42 over." The radio went off again, "Copy that, Unit 885 moving towards Sector-C."
Adam sat and looked at Zaida for a moment then said, "We're done here. Thank you for answering my questions. Officer Stowe, please take her back too her cell." Bailey nodded, "Sure thing." Bailey pointed towards Zaida, "Come up. Let's go."
The Prospekt Unit made his way towards Raz and the other guards, "Prisoner... Come with me." He pointed his stunstick towards Raz, behind the Prospekt Unit stood two other Units with AR-15's
-
"Nixon, interesting name" chuckles Bricket", I'm Bricket well at least that's how you can call me."
He leans a bit to get in a more comfy position "you know they won't let us out, do you? They mock us, they see us as degenerates and some would love to see us gone, what do you prefer Nixon? Freedom or dying in here?"
-
*Red adjusted his right glove before looking at the guards*
-

Raz turned around, making a noise complaining that he was being redirected to somewhere else, but followed the guard nonetheless.
-
She thrashed away from Bailey "What, Cell? I was just released out into the yard why the hell do I have to go back into my cell?!" She growled at them.
-
"Nixon, interesting name" chuckles Bricket", I'm Bricket well at least that's how you can call me."
He leans a bit to get in a more comfy position "you know they won't let us out, do you? They mock us, they see us as degenerates and some would love to see us gone, what do you prefer Nixon? Freedom or dying in here?"
"Freedom of course don't get me wrong. I would rather not kill while escaping. I have no anger toward these men these...pawns. I would like to see the man in charge though. And sense you are talking about freedom I assume you have a plan of some sort?"
*Nixon now trying to sit up from laying down. His precaution (suit) makes it difficult ,because it's stiff yet fluffy covering most of his body except his face and ears, but he manages to sit up.*
-
Raz smelt something good as he walked along with the unit, and he tried to pull away to go towards it.
-
"Very subtle, Red" says Bricket an a bit of an amusing sarcastic tone, "I might have a good one Nixon, if you were thinking about it."
Bricket starts staring at the wall on the other side of the room "I just got to know what the guards are thinking, then I know better what we're up against"
-
Bailey grabbed Zaida and tried to stop her from thrashing around, "Hey! You stop that right now!" One of the Prospekt Units pulled his stunstick out and began to walk towards Zaida, Bailey stuck his arm out and yelled, "NO!" The Unit stopped and moved back. Bailey pulled a radio out, "Overwatch this is Officer Stowe, how much longer do we have for break?" Overwatch responded, "twenty minutes." Bailey nodded, "Thank you." He looked at Zaida and sighed, "Fine... I'll take you back too the yard." he then escorted her towards the yard.
Raz smelt something good as he walked along with the unit, and he tried to pull away to go towards it.
The Prospekt Units looked at Raz, one of them screamed, "Prisoner stop! Or you will be amputated!"
-
Raz stopped and looked back and then begrudgingly walked back to the unit, and continued on with them.
-
The Prospekts brought Raz into the yard. they stationed themselves around each door and watched as he interacted with each inmate.
-
Razuel tripped as he entered the yard, and as he looked around, it seemed that he was quite large as opposed to anyone else, and he felt out of place, but tried to make an effort to communicate, despite his lack of verbal vocabulary, and he sat down next to the group of Nixon, Red, and Bricket
-
Zaida held a mean snarl, keeping her eyes on the Doctor and prospekts. Her tail attempting to sway to show her aggression, however attached to her cuffs only allowed her tail to struggle and twitch. A small huff escaped her mouth as she was escorted out of the room. Zaida focused to the floor in front of her while walking not saying a word.
-
The two finally made it all the way towards the Yard, Bailey opened the door and made his way through. He looked at Zaida and grumbled, "You got fifteen minutes left." He then shut the door and locked it. Next too Zaida was a Prospekt he sat straight and in his hand was a stunstick.
-
"Yea, and thanks for the 'help'." She said sarcastically, thrashing away from him and stumbling into the yard. "Assholes" She grumbled under her breath. The monster just started to walk around the yard, keeping her eyes forward. 'Hmp Look at them... they think they're on top, armed with weapons, covered in armor.' She thought to herself.
-
Raz listened to the small group for a little while and he walked over to Zaida and nudged her head, looking at her with a smile, despite the area they were in, "Zai... da... hell...oh", Raz was a true feral, and just before getting round up, he was having speech classes... but hasn't had much of them due to being brought here and locked up. Raz tilted his head to her, "You... oh...kay?"
-
Bricket looked at Razuel walking away and mumbled to himself "you've got to be kidding me"
-
"Yea I'm fine...." Zaida said walking around razuel before sitting down on the feral's tail. "Who are these pathetic anthros?" She huffed.
-
Razuel made a huffing noise and he curled up, setting Zaida in the middle of it, "Zaida... be... ni...ice... Why don.. nt you... as-sk...?", pulls her in close, "Eyif nn-oht,... thehn sstay... he-here...", holds her close to his soulstone, it emitting a warm feeling to the touch

Name/Facility Name: Al El-Kina/A008
Age: 26
Sex: Male
Appearance: See "Reference of Al"
Ability: Super-Sensing (can process sensory input at a rate 3x faster than the average fur)
Personality: Anti-Social, cold, calm, collected, sceptical, cynical, fearless.
Clothes: Wears the standard jump suit, but also has a mask [see "Al's badass mask"] on his face at all times. It acts as a muzzle because he was known to bite at other facilities. He's only allowed to take it off to eat. When walking outside of his cell, he has to wear a shock collar to prevent him from doing anything that might harm a guard.
Extra: While he can process sensory input extremely fast, strict meditation regiments have allowed him to regulate this ability. He's also fairly strong for his size, and has many scars all over his body. Despite believing he could take anyone on in a fight, he only uses violence in self-defence.
(What's the protocol for introducing new furs?)
-
(Being forcefully shoved into a cell duuh)
-
"Very subtle, Red" says Bricket an a bit of an amusing sarcastic tone, "I might have a good one Nixon, if you were thinking about it."
Bricket starts staring at the wall on the other side of the room "I just got to know what the guards are thinking, then I know better what we're up against"
"Well I was thinking about but It but I need more information. Like who has what ability and who can remove who's collar or cuffs."
*at this time Nixon saw bricket looking at the entrance and looked also. Seeing the dragon was...very surprising.*
"Holy jam on a cracker. That is one big dragon. Talk about unusual."
*the dragon sat next to the group but Nixon moved back to the topic of discussion.*
"So I take it bricket that you can...do something with your mind? I'm Not great at guessing these things."
(Also I've decided to draw a scene from this roleplay we have going. Won't be done for a while. Just thought I would say.)
-
Al entered the facility with a neutral look on his face. He was fully cuffed and restrained. A guard pushed him along yelling at him to keep moving. After a little bit of walking, Al's cell doors swung open and he was pushed inside. A special shock collar was placed around his neck and a guard explained to him what it did in an overly mocking tone. The same guard took off the wolf's cuffs and removed some of his restraints, leaving the mask on. Al simply sat there, not interested in retaliating. After all the restraints were off, he was forced over to the yard. He gave a disinterested look at everyone there before picking a spot far away from everyone and sitting down, taking in his surroundings.
(So where is everyone now?)
-
"let's say I can know what people think", his head turns towards Nixon "so watchout what you're thinking in your cell" says Bricket whilst laughing.
"But to get back on the topic, I think of having a plan of breaking out of here." Bricket looks around "everyone here is pissed off and really angry. No one is leaving and everyone wants to leave, we can use this anger"
-
Zaida remained sitting on the dragons tail, feeling the warmth from the stone. The monster ignored the small group, facing her back towards them. Instead she watched the guards talk to one another, the prospekts keep a close eye on the inmates, but she eventually kept her eyes locked on the vulture who seemed to be in charge. "Hmp."
-
Raz raised his head and looked at the vulture and then back at Zaida, "Somethieh... somethin-g wr-wronge, Zaida?"
-
The door swung up and a large Prospekt came in, he was slightly taller then the other Prospekts and his uniform (http://images2.fanpop.com/image/photos/14600000/Half-life-2-concept-art-combine-overwatch-14619841-250-342.jpg) was vastly different. Because of the larger anthros in the room. All living guards expect Bailey have been escorted out, only Prospekt Units stand. This Prospekt stood with a shotgun in hand just watching.
-
Ray, after the Prospekt units had established control, had retreated to the barracks. He sat cross-legged in his bunk, reading Bram Stoker's Dracula.
-
Raz looked at the new Prospekt through his peripherals and then looked back at Zaida, "Scary...", Raz may be strong, but he was still young, and he had a slight fear for newer things, and due to this, he buried his head into himself, keeping his head up against Zaida, using her as a form of comfort.
-
Al stared the larger prospekt down. Shotgun... They better not be planning on trying to kill us. Considering how every non-armoured fur here is a mutant, they wouldn't stand a chance... Unless... These aren't the kind of mutants I'm usually stuck with... Al stood up, not taking his eye off of the bigger guard.
-
Zaida crossed her arms "...Hmp." Not intimated by the prospekts, it wasn't new to her. However she still focused on the avian, watching him marching outside around the yard. 'Keep on acting high and mighty bird...' She finally turned away aggravated. Zaida curled up on the dragon, trying to get comfortable although her tight muzzle, arm cuffs made it impossible she'd never get use to it.
-
shoon got boerd of just of laying down on the floor and decided to walk around, which was a very bad choice since he couldnt see with his "safety helmet" and bumped straight into raz's back and fell staright to the floor again.
-
*Red looked at Zaida and Razuel, before leaning on the wall and examining the new Propekt as close as he could*
'look who got a new toy'*Red thought before looking at the Shotgun specifically*'a really good one at that'
-
Razuel eeped and looked at Shoon, "Hel... lo...", he said with a semi smile.
-
After a few minutes, Ray put down the book and went on his rounds, avoiding any room with Prospekt units on guard.
-
"you will have to speak louder, i cant hear that much with this thing" shoon knocked on the side of his helmet twice. "but you very big, whats a fella like you doing in this place?" shoon asked as he was getting up.
-
Raz pointed to his stone, "Power... expo... explosi-ve... fire.", Raz looked back at Zaida and then back to Shoon, "You?..."
-
Al began getting bored of all the nothing that was going on. Jeez... I at least got some action in at my previous facilities... Maybe this is karma for kicking the **** out of the mutant kid... Or, maybe I just need to spend more time meditating... The wolf looked over to Zaida, half staring her down. A Vexu... People are gravitating towards her... maybe because she's powerful... Possible competition... Al began walking in a large circle, swapping his vision between all the furs in the yard area, but never not looking at someone.
-
Ray, having gotten some form of courage, walked past the Prospekt units and stepped towards the cells. He smiled, genuinely, at Al and waved.
-
Bailey came into the yard and stood in place watching for a few seconds. He then pulled a microphone out and yelled into it, "Everyone line up on the wall! Yard time is over!" The Prospekt moved towards the wall and aimed their weapons at the mutants.
-
'Back to the cell...' Zaida struggled a little but eventually stood up. Following orders, she lined up where she was supposed to.
-
*Red put his hands up, before slowly making his way to the wall eventually getting in line*
-
Raz stayed laying down, ignoring the command and actually falling asleep.
-
*Red snickered looking at the dragon 'He's got some real courage to pull this off'*
-
Raz stayed laying down, ignoring the command and actually falling asleep.
Bailey stared at the dragon. His face grew red, "You! Get up now!" The Prospekts looked at Raz they didn't listen to Bailey but instead marched in unison towards the dragon, they aimed there weapons, "Prisoner... Move towards the wall or face amputation." One of the Prospekts spoke into his radio, "We have a 6CD in Sector-Y over."
-
*Red started laughing, he found Baileys strife hilarious and thought Baileys expression made it even funnier*
-
Bailey looked at Red his face got even more red. He pulled his stunstick out and began to hit him, "NO LAUGHING!" He yelled, his voice shook the room the Prospekts looked over at Red then Bailey then back towards the dragon.
-
The monster hissed annoyed at was was going on. She shook her head "If everyone starts to acts up, we'll all get in trouble. And I swear if I have to face consequences because you idiots..." She growled aggravated under her breath.
-
*Red took the stun stick hits*"Ow- You think-ow I haven't gotten used to this by now-Augh!"
-
Bailey frown got even bigger, he looked over at the Prospekt with the shotgun and trench coat. "Unit 101 come now!" The Prospekt marched his way towards him and stared at Red. He aimed his weapon at him, "No don't. No killing right now." The Prospekt lowered his.
Bailey smiled, "Instead, we'll throw him into Nova Prospekt." The Prospekt although they were machine, laughed. He grabbed Red and dragged him away.
-
*Red wwaved bye at the group while getting dragged*
-
Bricket walked over to the wall slowly whilst enjoying the whole show.
'I like those guys, especially red' is he thinking whilst laughing and did a small almost unnoticable wave when Red was dragged off.
He got to the wall and turned around to face the right way. Curious about the others their reactions he watched left and right to see what they could possibly think
-
*Red did some gun motions at bricket before looking at the prospekt, Completely unwavered about his current predicament he chuckled as he was being dragged*
-
Slowly followed Bricket with his eyes where Red was dragged away to, he was thinking 'That's the guy I need' he then looked at the headguard 'come on, punish us all and you give me exactly what I need.'
-
Al had casually moved over to the wall and leaned on it with his back against it. He stood next to Zaida. "Fool... But, I guess someone has to be the comic relief around here... Or, quite possibly in his case, HAD to be the comic relief..."
-
*Nixon walked with hands up and close to bricket and quietly talking.*
"If you have a plan should we do it now or wait."
*watching red get dragged away Nix noticed that the prospekt dragging him was the one with the big gun. This helps. If they do Spring the plan (what ever it is.) they will have to do it soon.*
"I'm all ears bricket."
-
"We need to wait, if we do it now it's gonna end horribly for everyone" says Bricket quiet to Nixon when standing in front of the wall, he then looked at Nixon "unless you want to give everyone an horrible day?"
-
After a few moments of walking, the Prospekt threw Red into an elevator and stood in it with him. The Prospekt selected the lowest floor. After a few moments the elevator door opened, the room was dark and cold, the sounds of water could be heard dripping from the ceiling.
The Prospekt grabbed Red and dragged him across the dirty and stained room. Guards stood all around and distant cry's could be heard. After a few minutes of walking they reached a large open room on the left side of the room was a line of cells. Instead of looking clean and being well lit. They were dark, dirty, and only had a mattress that sat on the ground.
Bailey looked at the line of people, he then put his stunstick back, "Seems like administration has changed the cell format. All prisoners will have at least one partner in there cell. We got too many complaints saying that they feel lonely. When I say your name. You will stand next to the person who is going to be your new cell partner."
Bailey coughed and yelled, "Bricket and Nixom." He paused, "Zaida and Al." He then looked at Raz. "You go back too the feral area... Now, lets get back to the cells! MOVE IT!"
-
"Huh."*Red said, completely unfazed*"I've been in worse prison conditions"*He said looking around*
-
"Ugh..." Zaida groaned from the scene. She stood straight, still line up where she was suppose to. Whether someone was executed or being punished she didn't really care for them.
Until her name was called, followed by orders, Zaida moved along. In front, back, by their sides just armed prospekts marched on, escorting them all to their assigned cells. She looked around the grey and depressing facility just thinking to herself 'partner? Must be some kind of social experiment...'
-
Al decided to follow Zaida to her cell. He thought it better not to ask questions. He gently felt the shock collar, before having a small spasm due to a small electrical shock. Bastards... Can't even touch the thing... Once he reached the cell, and was forcibly shoved inside of it, he took a seat in the middle of the cell and stared blankly at the back wall.
-
'Me and the Nixon lad? Interesting' thinks Bricket as he starts walking towards his cell, 'but I really hoped he would have punished us' pases this thought when walking past the headguard
-
Once they all got into they're cells, Bailey looked at the guards and sighed, "We need less of these Prospekts. They scare me more then the mutants..." The guards nodded in agreement. Bailey sat in the corner of the hallway in a chair, he mumbled to himself and well asleep. The rest of the guards stood at attention.
-
*Red silently hummed 'Troika' as he sat in his cell, This place was certainly more eventful then the actual facility but he had to wonder how many Human rights this place is violating with all the Killing and possible mental scarring this place gives....he sighed and scratched his head before thinking further on the implications this place has*
-
(This goes for everyone. Amputation is not a form of.... Amputating a limb. It's killing someone. It's a cool word for killing someone. We are essentially amputating you from the facility. We are removing you.)
-
(Jesus... Just went from dark to pitch black :o ))
-
(I'll reword that, if Necessary)
-
"Well I don't plan on giving everyone a bad time..if I knew your plan it would be a little easier."
*Nixon stopped when Bailey began to announce. the partner thing surprised him. "This will be a learning experience for everyone".*
"
-
Unlike her old cell the lights weren't too bright however she was aware that they'd stay on 24/7, it was a bit better. Her cuffs were still on, however not activated and her muzzle remained tightly on her snout. No doubt in her mind it was because she had a 'roommate'.
The monster stood in the middle of the cell and looked around for a moment, wasn't anything different besides there being a bunk bed. Zaida walked over to the bottom bunk and took a seat, relieving her shoulders by moving them in a circular motion.
-
Al didn't take his eyes off of his focus point, but spoke loud enough for Zaida to hear. "So... Vexu... What's your name...?" His voice was slightly muffled due to the mask he had over his mouth, but it was still fairly easy to make out what he was saying. "I go by a few... But most call me 'Al'..."
-
"Welcome in Casa de Bricket" says Bricket when Nixon entered his cell.
"On your left we have a wall, on your right a wall too, behind you a cell door and in front of you a wall with some windows. But this cell is also facilitated with severe depression" Jokes bricket with an ironic yet sad tone.
"Anyway, I hope you're not affraid I can know what youn think?"
(question, is the special gear taken off?)
-
(No. Because you have a partner in your room, you will keep it on.)
-
*Red looked at his gloves before looking around the dark environment*"Do I dig myself out with a spoon or something?"*He said jokingly before standing up and walking towards the bars*
-
The sounds of lights flickering could be heard in Nova Prospekt. The lights went out and the doors swung up. Prospekts could be heard yelling. They're boots crashed against the concrete. The lights were out, and it's dark.
-
*Red looked at the door swing up before he rubbed his arm*"Huh."
-
Her voice was muffled as well, due to the muzzle she wore. "...Zaida." The monster answered plainly. She eventually laid down on the bed, resting her eyes, a small sigh escaping her mouth.
-
Bailey was snoring in his chair, the guards looked at him as they all heard the radio go off, "All units power is down in Nova Prospekt, we will be shutting down all elevators until all of the mutants in that area are either detained or amputated. Over."
-
*Red walked out his cell, before looking for any prospekts*"alright, convienence"*He said before he crouched and started sneaking somewhere*
-
"Zaida..." Al turned to look at his new roommate. "Not a bad name... If you're willing to share... I'd be interested in knowing your power... You've got quite the large amount of... baggage on you..."
-
As Red moved around he could see a variety of anthros moving out from there cells. They all looked badly injured some even looked like they died and were reanimated. Prospekts could be seen kicking the door down and yelling, "Back in your cells!" Some moved into there cells and some didn't.
-
*Red looked around before hiding somewhere, he looked around at the prisoners before keeping deeper in the hiding spot 'I need a plan' he thought*
-
One of the Prospekts looked over towards Red, his glowing eyes from the mask illuminated the dark, he slowly crept over aiming his rifle. Since he was a machine he was able to see in the dark. "Overwatch this is 889, sector is cleared of non registered bio-organisms." You could hear the radio respond back, "Please be advised, we are detecting another NRBO in your area."
The Prosepkt that was looking towards Red looked away and began scanning the area.
-
*Red looked at the prospekt before thinking a moment he took off his glove before waiting for him to move closer*
-
The Prospekt got into Reds area. He scanned the area.
-
*Red moved quickly his hand coated in a hot flame, he threw a quick punch towards the prospekts skull hopefully he was unexpecting enough to provide red the advantage he needed*
-
The Prospekt went flying towards the wall, a loud static noise (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-YOIIrVJE0) could be heard. Once it slammed against the wall, the rest looked over at the now illuminated Red, they opened fired at him. Either way, they could see in the dark. So he had to think carefully.
-
The was a moment of silence "Darkness manipulation..." She replied. "How about you?" Zaida asked Al.
-
*Red hid behind the dumpster before thinking of a way to get out of this mess, surrendering wasn't an option
-
"I can perceive sensory input 3x faster than the average person. They only noticed when they found out I can dodge bullets." Al let out a long sigh, and closed his eyes.
-
They kept firing until they had to reload, then once they loaded there weapons they began to surround him.
-
*Red looked at them before grabbing the rifle from the downed Prospekt, he had something figured out*
-
One of the Prospekts noticed that he picked up the rifle, he fired at him. The others joined in.
-
"Interesting." She said quietly before turning her head to the side, facing the cell's two way mirror. Although she only saw herself it bugged her that those working for the facility could see inside when they pleased.
-
*Red blindly fired from the cover before kicking the dumpster into the group*
-
None of the bullets hit them, except for one. He ignored it and kept firing.
-
*Red growled the dumpster flying into a new spot before red fired more at the ones that blocked him, the gun suddenly jammed before he looked at the surrounding prospekts*"What do you guys call a robot miner?"
-
The wolf stood up and walked over to Zaida, sitting on her bed. He made sure to mind where she was, but just sat on the edge. "How long have they kept you here...?"
-
Instead of answering, they kept firing. One of them yelled over the radio, "We have a 404 in Nova Prospekt!" More troopers changed from behind and aimed there weapons at Red, they weren't Prospekt just normal guards, "Stop now! Or you will be shot!"
-
Zaida grew uncomfortable when the wolf approached her however didn't show it. She thought for a second. "Since I was... Twenty I think? So about four years? However I was recently to this facility, Helix." She replied to Al.
-
*Red put his hands up*
-
The guards stood behind him while the four other Prospekts grabbed him and threw him to the ground, "404 has been detained." Overwatch responded, "Amputate." The Prospekt nodded, "Roger that." He pulled a pistol from his holster and aimed it at Reds head.
-
"I've only just been moved here. But, they've been moving me between these prisons for about 6 years now." Al remarked. "This place isn't that different from the others..."
-
*Red sighed before looking at the prospekt and chuckling*"You call a robot miner a Prospektor"*Red accepted his fate already, but he'd sure as hell go out with a pun*"This'll happen again, and again until you can't control it "*He said towards the guards a smile on his face*"But hey what do I know."
-
The Prospekt fired his weapon, Red was dead. One of the guards laughed, "That was a good one." They all looked at him. "... What?..."
-
"It's suppose to be the most advance." Zaida said. "Plus it's much more strict... They also study and test on some of the subjects here." She huffed.
-
(Red's Dead without Redemption!)
-
Bailey woke up after a guard shook him, "Hey... Stowe, the prisoner you sent to Nova is dead." Bailey groaned, "God damn it..." He stood up and stretched, "Is the power back on in Nova?" The guard responded, "Yes sir." Bailey grumbled, "Make sure the areas is clear of mutants down there."
(Did you just?")
-
(The opportunity was there, so I took it!)
-
Al snorted. "And somehow, despite everything you've said, I'm still surrounded by four walls with somebody who's just as dead inside as I am." He chuckled for a second before coughing. "Trust me. This place is no different from the rest...
-
Bailey looked at his watch then his radio went off, "Stowe, Doctor Harvey is here now." Bailey pulled his radio from his belt and spoke into it, "Bring him into Sector-C" A few moments later a tall white cat walked into the room, he had a doctors coat on and a red tie. He looked at each cells while smiling, "Hello everyone. My name is Doctor Harvey and I'm going to run some test." He back up from the doors. "Okay when the doors open I want everyone to face the back of the cell wall." Bailey pressed the cell door controls and they all opened.
-
Bricket got up from his bed and walked towards the wall of his cell door.
"Hey Nixon, do you know what's going on? I don't like this, I don't like this at all" aks Bricket to Nixon
-
"Yea...I suppose so." Zaida shrugged lightly before stretching out her body. The monster then sat up on the bed with a light sigh. "What's going on?" She asked herself hearing all the commotion.
-
Bailey peaked his head in everyone single cell, he spoke in a rather quite and polite manner, "Everyone up, get on the wall for the doctor." It was obvious he was trying to act kind too show the doctor that they didn't treat the inmates horribly.
-
Al shook his head and gave Bailey the middle finger. "Go... f**k yourself..." He was obviously trying to annoy Bailey into harming him.
-
*Wilhelm sat on the bed of his cell before hearing bailey and standing against his wall*
-
Bailey looked at him and frowned, he whispered, "After he leaves." He stood up the Doctor asked, "What was that Stowe?" He replied, "Oh it's nothing."
-
*Wilhelm peeked from the doorway of his cell, checking what was happening at the moment*
-
"Nixon, why is he nice to us?" Bricket looks with a questioning face to the headguard when he acts way too nice
-
shoon stood near the wall in the end of his room, he was somewhat deprresed for not getting a partner.
but however he was interested if he could get the new guy to take his helmet off.
-
Zaida stood up and walked towards the wall, not wanting to face consequences as she has many times before. She planned to stay on her best behavior, to make things easier on herself.
-
Al just climbed onto his bunk and lay down in his bed, knowing fully well that he was being annoying. He'll snap eventually. Just need to push the boundaries a little.
-
The Doctor smiled and spoke, "Now we are going to do a little test... The test is, we are going to put you all in a room. For a few days. Together. Food will be limited so you have to split it evenly." Bailey looked at the Doctor with a shocked expression. The Doctor kept speaking, "How many days will it be you might be asking? Well, over three days. You will be monitored. Remember you're doing this for the betterment of the world!" He clapped his hands together and looked at Bailey, "Captain, please take them to the Test area."
Bailey sighed, "Will do." He knew this would end badly and he didn't want it. But he whistled, "Line up behind me!"He watched them all but waited for Al, he sat. And waited. And Waited. Until he stormed over towards Al's bunk and ripped him off the bed, "GET IN F***ING LINE!" He yelled. The doctor looked shocked.
-
*Wilhelm made his way towards the line looking at Baily loose his temper abit before standing silently*
-
"Are you insane?" said Bricket softly yet a bit hearable to himself whilst looking at the doctor, after the whistling sound Bricket walked over to the line
-
Al smiled behind his mask. He coughed lightly, having hit the ground a little hard. But he stood up and got in line, knowing full well he's made his point. "As you wish... Princess..."
-
Bailey was having enough today, he pulled his stunstick out and hit Al full force, "What was that? I couldn't hear you! SAY IT LOUDER!" He hit him again.
-
Al took the first one a little well, having been shocked so much in the past that it's numbed his merves a little, but the second one got a solid grunt out of him as he hunched over a little. After taking a second to breathe he stood up straight and looked Bailey dead in the eye before saying "Take this mask off... And you'll hear me better... Prin-cess...
-
Bailey smiled, "That's cute. But once this test is done. You'll be facing a week in Nova Prospekt." He hit him once again, "I heard you've been saying this prisoner is nothing you've ever seen? Well, have fun with the Prospekts." He pointed forwards, "Look straight or I'll make sure you'll never be able to look straight again." The doctor stood in awe. He coughed and spoke, "Stowe this is not how you should treat them." Bailey yelled, "I WILL TREAT THEM HOW I SEE FIT! AND WHEN THEY DISRESPECT ME, I'LL PUNISH THEM!"
-
Al finally decided to comply. He wasn't scared of Bailey or 'Nova Prospekts.' But, he's made a point to the doctor, and that's as much as he wanted. "Now, now... You shouldn't yell at the doctor... You should save that pent up anger... For a shrink... They give you one of those... Don't they...?"
-
Zaida listened, her brows furrowed. She scoffed while shaking her head. 'I **censor** knew it... A damn test' while waiting in line she watched the scene quietly, however kept her distance from the two.
-
Bailey rubbed his beak and grumbled. He looked over at the Doctor, "We are going now, before I kill this one." He hit him over the head again, "One more word out of your mouth and you'll never live to see the light again." He yelled, "March forward!"
-
Al scoffed, not taking Bailey very seriously. Stupid bird... Would like to see him in a fair fight with me... Powers aside... I'd be having that chicken for lunch... He began moving, rubbing his stomach a little.
-
(Chicken.... Oh my god that's amazing LOL)
-
(It's what I do B) )
-
After a while they all finally made it to the Testing area. It was a large open area, with toilets, beds, and a few bookshelves. Music (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMx3z6sixlo) could be heard playing in the background. The Doctor pointed, "Everyone welcome to your new home."
-
"sir", said Bricket loudly, "when can we take of this equipment? It's bugging us the hell out and for the sake of all of us and our safety, can it please be removed?"
he asked towards the Doctor
-
The Doctor stuttered, "That's not in my say. You'll have to ask the Captain." He looked over at Bailey who's face was in a frown, "Hmm." Bailey grumbled.
-
Al cocked an eyebrow as he heard the music. He walked inside of the testing area. "Ave.... Maria..." The wolf seemed to disappear into his own world as he just stared blankly at one of the walls.
-
*Wilhelm looked around*"Very Nice."*He said running his hand against the wall*
-
Bricket turned his head towards Bailey and then looked back at the doc "I think I know the answer already"
-
Bailey sighed, he pulled a radio from his belt and spoke into it. "Overwatch." Overwatch responded, "Apply." Bailey responded back, "307" A pause happened, then Overwatch responded, "What can I get you Captain?" Bailey spoke rather fast, "I need three Prospekt Units down at the Testing area now." Overwatch responded back, "Copy that."
A few moments later a group of three Prospekts entered the area, they're uniforms looked vastly (http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/387671470684572035/B47E1A1650AB212D3A293E70556E4BFE77AA74DE/?interpolation=lanczos-none&output-format=jpeg&output-quality=95&fit=inside%7C637:358&composite-to=*,*%7C637:358&background-color=black) different. They pushed the group into the testing area. The door was shut behind them. One of them pulled a large rifle, it looked like an M60. They began to take the precautions off from the mutants.
-
*Wilhelm seemed surprised that they where ACTUALLY doing this, His collar was removed shortly after this thought*
-
Bricket looked towards Bailey: "thank you".
The feeling of the precaution being taken off him felt good, even tho it wasn't much it still felt good to have one restriction less
-
Once Al felt something removing his shock collar, he snapped back into reality. "Huh... Oh..." He let the collar be removed, and he removed the mask himself. But after looking around, he forcefully threw his mask against the ground and pointed at the doctor. Now that they were visible, his teeth look intimidatingly sharp. "Just what are you trying to pull...?"
-
Zaida looked around the large testing area, it was better than both cells she's been in today. The monster stopped once a few prospekts took off her precautions, a bit skeptical however it was a test. "....Thank you." She murmured to the prospekts. Zaida moved her mouth a bit, rubbing her arms and wrist, her tail swaying freely.
-
*Wilhelm looked at the doctor before looking at Al*
"I must say, It doesn't seem like anything is being pulled for once... Although a small amount of Explaining would clear misunderstandings"*He said in a calm tone, trying to take the edge off this situation*
-
The Prospekts didn't respond at all. Instead once all the precautions had been removed they turned around and marched in unison away. The Doctor looked at Al and spoke, "Just testing. Seeing how animals like yourself interact with each other." He smiled and looked back down at his cliboard. Bailey looked at him with a uncomfortable face, it's clear that Bailey didn't see them as animals or monster. He was just trying to do his job.
-
"I have to ask doctor, Why do you see us... Your fellow man as "Animals"?*Wilhelm asked sitting down on a cot*"It wasn't always like this, As you and I probably know."
-
"I've got to agree with my fellow man here, why are we animals according to you?" asked Bricket on a quite polite and friendly tone
-
Al's eyes widened, and he bared clenched teeth for a second. "Animals... THAT'S WHAT WE ARE TO YOU?!" Al considered what he wanted to do for a second, clenching his fist hard enough for a single drop of blood to fall from it, before he took a deep breath out and picked his mask back up. "This might be difficult for a sick f*** such as yourself to understand, but before they started rounding us up, performing experiments on us, torturing us and scarring us to the point in which death would be considered a mercy..." he coughed and took a deep breath "... Some of us were just normal furs living out our lives..." Al tied his mask back on, to stop himself from biting anyone out of anger.
-
The Prospekts looked over at Al and aimed there weapons at him, Bailey yelled, "No stop!" They looked at him and lowered them. The Doctor smiled, "After this test.... You'll see why we think of you as animals." He walked away laughing. Bailey looked at the Doctor and sighed, he was clearly very uncomfortable. He even looked like he was questioning his role as the head of security. He called over the Prospekts, "Come now!" They marched towards him in unison and stood at attention, "Patrol this whole area." They all responded, "Copy." Then they were off.
-
Zaida faced away from the group, still studying the cell. 'Animals...' Her ears leaned back and she hissed from the harsh word. Zaida gave a small but cold chuckle. "Animals..." She whispered. However the monster chose to stay out of the conversation and instead took a seat on one of the bottom bunk beds.
-
"Looks like we have to prove him we're not animals" said Bricket loud enough hoping everyone would hear him, "can't you guys imagine him seeing after 3 days coming back and realizing that he was wrong?"
-
*Wilhelm sighed before grabbing a book from the shelf and sitting back on his cot, He felt some anger before he managed to calm himself abit*"Well, I'm glad most of us think alike"*He said, acknowledging Bricket and Al
-
Bailey just walked away, his head was hanging low and his face looked upset. He thought to himself, Why am I even doing this?! These we're normal people just like me.... And I was a normal security guard, now I beat people for fun, I take them away from they're family's, I ruin lives.. Maybe I'm the animal...
He sat down in the control room with the Doctor, they just watched them over the camera's. The song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqeeb6P1j_w) had changed.
-
Al turned away from the exit. "Animals..." I can't believe that's how they see us... It would explain some things though... But I cannot allow them to anger me like that again... it just makes them stronger... The wolf closed his eyes a uttered a silent prayer before taking a seat away from everyone else. He needed some time to meditate.
-
*Wilhelm silently read his book, only the sound of flipping pages could be heard from him until he started humming the new song*
-
(The new song's lyrics and tone make this scenario even more screwed up..... I didn't plan this)
-
'Let's have a bit of fun, shall we?' Bricket walked over to a seat and sat down, making it as comfortable as it could. He didn't liked being locked up but now he was at least being a bit comfortable locked up. Even though he could start reading everyone's mind for some reason Bricket decided not to, revealing his capabilities could bring the whole group and his goal (proving the doctor wrong) in trouble
-
*Wilhelm looked around at the group, adjusting his reading glasses and chuckling*"reminds me of some old friends"*He said quietly before continuing reading 'East of Eden'*
-
No matter how hard he tried to, Al could not take his mind off of the song that played when they first entered the area. Ave Maria. It brought back memories of before he was locked up in these facilities. He sighed softly to himself and hummed the tune, which he could play on violin without a prompt. Eventually, the urge to at least ask about instruments came over him. So he stood and looked around for something he could use to speak to the people watching him.
-
"Someone wake me up when room service arrives, I'm a bit tired" jokes Bricket whilst he slowly gets more comfortable in a chair "Experiments tire me"
-
"What do you say when a canine eats something?"*Wilhelm said, a smile on his face*"They're WOLFING it down"*He said, containing his laughter*
-
After a few hours of sitting in the room. The door swung open. Two Prospekts came out and behind him was a chief. He place a large tray of food on the floor. It looked like it could barely feed one person. He stood up and walked out, the two Prospekts followed along.
-
Bricket could sniff the food arriving "hmmm, smells likes Lobster with champagne" He opens his eyes and looks like the tray "oh, they really want to see us fighting, don't they?"
-
*He looked at the tray*"Subtle"*He said before smirking and leaning back*
-
Zaida just laid in bed facing the wall. She didn't want anything to do with anyone. Aware that a chef brought in some food she stayed in place.
-
He sat himself straight up "allright, who wants to eat dinner?", his eyes start scanning the room looking for someone who wants to eat
-
*Wilhelm looked at Bricket before continuing to read his book*"Not me."
-
Al looked at the food closely, before it suddenly occurred to him what they were trying to do. "Bastards..." Although he hadn't eaten all day, Al's interest wasn't in the food. "Oi! Doctor whatever, or who ever is watching over us!" He took a deep breath before looking around, realising he might sound a bit stupid for asking. Not the time to be self-conscious nitwit. "Would it be possible to get a violin in here...! Any violin will do... but size 1 over 2 would be prefered...!"
-
"You play music, son?"*He said looking at Al*
-
"Are you sure?" he asked.
"Look, it's food and we all gotta eat once, so be honest here and tell if you want to eat or not"
-
The Doctor spoke into the microphone, "That is not possible." Bailey grabbed the mic and spoke into it, "I could get you one... Well try." He stood up and stormed off. Trying to find a violin, not sure if he could find one though.
-
Al looked over at Wilhelm. "Played... Haven't touched a violin since I was thrown into my first facility... But, I know well I can still play one..."
-
"That's nice"*He said before looking at bricket*
-
Al cleared his throat a little. Feeling the burn of underused vocal chords, he decided against attempting to sing as well. He looked over at the food and walked over to it, assessing the plate. Then, he counted how many people were there before he began dividing up the food equally. "We're all getting a small piece of food. If we can slow down our metabolism by minimising how much activity we do, as well as minimising the amount we consume, we can all get through this without killing each other over who gets what."
-
The door swung open and Bailey stepped into the room. He had no stunstick, no gun, and no radio. He walked towards Al and sat the violin down, "Hey..." He said with a sigh, he looked at the other test subjects. "I'm sorry... For what I did." He rubbed his head, "I was out of line. I was just trying to get you to listen. But in the end I made my self look like.. An animal." He sat down on the wall and stared at him. "I've seen my wrong doings. I deserve this more than all of you."
-
"Okay, well I'm not hungry either... I might be later on." he said to the 2 others
Technically he didn't had to ask but it would look weird if someone knew who was and who wasn't hungry.
Bricket jumped straight up when Bailey entered the room, he immediatly puts his hands up
"Allright, what do we have to do this time?"
-
Bailey looked over at Bricket, he sighed. "Nothing..."
-
*Wilhelm looked at Bailey before a kind smile came across his face, he started approaching him*"Honestly, You where just doing what you get paid for"
-
He lowered his hands yet was quite confused "what's going on? That guy isn't a normal doctor, heck he is the opposite: who is he Mr Stowe?"
-
Al looked at Bailey's eyes for a minute before realising his intentions were good. "Thank you..." He took the violin and looked at it sighing. The wolf then bent over, took his small portion of dinner and stuffed it all in his mouth before walking off to take a seat. Ode to joy... Ave Maria... or Vincent...?
-
Once the bird entered the cell, it finally caught her attention. However she still rested on her bed, not saying a word. She studied the group taking a deep breath through her nose then exhaling through her mouth.
-
Bailey looked over at Bricket, "He works for the facility. This place was once a maximum security prison, then they changed it to this. Hell the guards used to work in that said prison." He looked at the walls. "This used to be the showers."
-
*Wilhelm made his way back to the cot before laying on it*
-
"It went from prison to camp it seems" Bricket sat down again and looked at Stowe "Look, even tho you now have a humane moment it's better for you if you would go back to your position. Hanging around with animals isn't good on your resume and I think doing all of this could mean your replacement and the end for us".
He then looked down and saw the divided plate of food
-
Al finally decided on 'Vincent' (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NnHwlSS5VfA). He sat down and tuned his piano for a second before giving it a quick test. "It sure has been a while..." He looked around at everyone, closed his eyes and readied himself, before he softly began to play.
-
Bailey laughed, "Even if I do my job, I'll just get replaced with those damn Prospekts. They are much better then any other anthro. They don't have emotions, no sense, no humane thoughts. Only the job." He kept sitting with them, "I heard administration talking about it early yesterday. They said something like 'Lay off all of the guards, replace them with the Prospekts.' Pff. Bull if you ask me"
-
"I heard something about a Guy in the Nova Prospekt managing to toss one"*He said towards bailey*
-
"I don't like those Prospekts at all. I think here the reason is obvious." jokes Bricket to Stowe "Stowe, be honest here with me: We will never get out, will we?"
-
"I heard the same. I'll just say this. They are not to be messed with. If you were up against ten of them. You would be done, we tested it. Shooting them multiple times, chopping limbs off, blowing them up. They just keep getting back up. We noticed if you hit them enough they're processor can't handle the amount of damage it takes and it just.... Dies. Sometimes if it's hit hard enough it'll die as well."
He looked at the Bricket and sighed, "Probably not. This is the most advanced facility they have. This is also the only facility with the Prospekts and Overwatch."
-
After Al finished playing, he sighed softly. "Guess they didn't quite shock... every last piece of emotion out of me... after all..." he muttered softly.
-
"I've been for how many years? 5 years ago they said my talent was wanted: once here they send a letter to my family saying I died in a crash, since then everyone who might have liked me thinks I'm dead." He sighed and looks to Stowe "what I'm trying to say is if this means the end of it all: I wouldn't mind anymore, also what happened to Red?"
-
*Wilhelm sighed looking at the roof*
-
"Prospekts got to him." He was silent for a second. "When he was sent to Nova Prospekt, the power went off. He tried to escape. He killed one of the Prospekts but, they caught him and killed him on the spot."
-
It was a another long depressing day that dragged on and Zaida was tired out. Hugging her pillow, the blanket up to her waist. However she looked like she was sleeping but only rested her eyes. Listening to the group's conversation, but didn't have much to say. Instead she was deep in thought.
-
"I'm glad you're honest Stowe, I really am." Bricket chuckled as he thought of something "Maybe this whole experiment is to convince people to use the prospekts because if we kill eachother off they have material to use against us."
-
Al put his violin down and thought about everything that was going on. It was all so strange. Before coming here, he felt that every last bit of happiness, compassion and hope had been shocked, beaten or whipped out of him. And yet, he remembered how to play the violin. He still felt a little bit of hope. The wolf looked around the room and rested his eyes on Zaida. The Vexu was most definately outcasting herself on purpose. It wasn't exactly difficult to tell. So, he took it upon himself to get to know her a little better. After all, he appreciated the quiet, less talkative types more than the loud ones. Al stood up and walked over to Zaida, sitting down beside her bed. "So... When was it that you first started distancing yourself from everyone...?"
-
Ray wandered the facility, checking broom closets and other nooks and crannies. After a thorough sweep of the floor, Ray walked towards the cells. He slowed as he passed the elevators, and doubled his pace after the elevators were behind him. Ray entered the cell block, and checked his rifle. He made sure that his magazines were taped to an empty partner, and that the empties were loaded, in an attempt to avoid accidental shooting.
-
The bed creaked slightly hinting someone sat at its edge, familiar with the voice she was aware it was the canine named Al. A small sigh escaped her mouth. "Ever since I was little.... Especially when I started developing this shit." She murmured the last part obviously not very proud of the ability she gained, it was a gift and a curse.
-
"Ahh... I see..." Al wasn't very good at comforting others, not having much experience. But, it wasn't going to stop him from trying. "Well, why now? I mean, we're all 'freaks' here, right?"
-
Zaida's eyes fluttered open and she rested her head on her paw. "I don't know..." She shrugged "Yea, I guess so."
-
"So, I guess you went through the usual... got bullied because you were 'weird'... caused mishaps with your powers..." Al decided it would be better if he took off his mask, and so he did.
-
Bailey watched from a distance. He smiled and chuckled under his breath. This is so stupid... Why are these people even in here? He thought to himself.
-
"Yea a little... I started developing it when I was fourteen." She stared plainly at the wall. "I kept it a secret but as time past by, it began to hurt me, and sometimes I lost control of myself.. Long story short... now I'm here." Zaida spat coldly.
-
Bailey scanned the room looking at all the prisoners. He then began to fiddle with his thumbs.
-
"I'm the lucky one between us, in that case..." Al stared down at his paws, with one of them still having a cut from when he clenched his fist. "I was actually born with my powers. Neural abnormalities that the doctors weren't really sure were healthy. I was essentially being tested on all of my childhood, until my parents said enough was enough and started sending me to school. See, because of the way I perceive things, everything moves much slower to me. About 3 times as slow, the doctors say. So, I was fairly good at learning and sports. Of course, the guys would get jealous and pick on me, but they'd never be able to hit me. I was eventually pulled back into testing, when they first decided they wanted to start experimenting on me."
-
She nodded "You definitely were the lucky one, although it's a reason you shouldn't be in here then..." Zaida stated. "It's ridiculous." She laid back down on the bed looking at the top bed.
-
"It is, isn't it. But, they think I'm just another mutant with a serious hard-on for hurting other people. Although, I have developed some anger issues over the past few years. So, I guess I'm more of a monster now than I was before they started experimenting on me. Funny, isn't it?"
-
shoon sat in the coner by himself all of this time, wondering if he should do something.
after a while of not hearing anyone talking with the outside he stood up and walked in the general direction he heard him last talk, after reaching his theoretical spot he spoke "hey officer, could you take off my helmet? it has been ages since someone took it off".
-
This is so stupid... Why are these people even in here? He thought to himself.
Usually Bricket was pretty good at ignoring other people their thoughts yet he couldn't ignore this one, he looked at Stowe and had a soft yet saddening smile after hearing the thought. "I've always wondered myself: what happens if they have us all rounded up and locked up. Extermination? Lock us up and let us die? Mass experiments? I know it's not the happiest thought, but what do you think Stowe?" asked he
-
"...Mhm." Zaida shook her head lightly. "And they've probably done it to a million more." She sighed.
-
*the opening of the cell and Bailey being nice. It shocked Nixon. He stood and followed everyone into the room staring just quiet in thought. So deep in thought he didn't even hear brickets questions.*
"The heck is going on. Something has changed. A variable I can't see."
*Nixon thought that to himself. He was trying to figure it out what was going on. He saw the anthro Doctor and thought little about him...at first. When they came into the room Nixon was happy and jogged into the middle of the room. The announcement of the precaution removal excited Nixon. He was finally free of the terribly uncomfortable body suit.*
"Aah yes happy day happy day!"
*the suit was removed and Nixon laid back hovering in the air. A soothing vibration could be heard and felt from his sound creation ability. Nixon hasn't been able to use his ability for about a year.*
"I could live like this for three days."
*when the chicken arrived Nixon was so focused on hovering and relaxing that he didn't notice. In fact anything said he didn't hear. Every now and then Nixon accidentally bumped into a wall. With a soft "bump."
(I was asleep and that's why I didn't post anything. Also I really like the way this is going.)
-
*Wilhelm sat up from his slumber, he yawned before looking around*
-
(I'm sorry for disappearing... just take what I'm saying in next, knock me out, and just put me in my cell)
Raz got up and had tried to attack a guard, but was swiftly knocked out by a high-velocity beanbag to the head, the Dragon then falling over to his side with a large thud, twitches and then stillness, but his glowing soulstone symbolized that he was still alive, but was still very much hurt.
(Or rather in a doctors ward, concussions can be fatal)
-
Al shrugged. "Guess it wouldn't be fair if they didn't lock all of us up." The wolf continued wondering about what trials that doctor might put them through. "I'm not one for compassion, but if push comes to shove, you'll want to have eaten at least something. I'd recommend going ahead and having one of the portions I've divided."
-
"I won't eat much. I've been eating smaller rations, in case." She murmured before getting out of the bed. Zaida sat in front of the tray taking a bit to eat.
-
Al looked over at Zaida, kind of happy that he got her to move a little. "Why do I get the feeling... Everyone in here is in more danger than we think..." It just didn't feel right to Al. All this nice treatment. The purposefully small portions of food. What next? Seeing if we can cooperate to take down some of those robots? Al sensed some bad times ahead.
-
Ray, after again making his rounds, decided to check in with Bailey. He brought his radio up, and spoke. "Commander Bailey?"
-
Razuel had been sent to the medical ward as the hit to his head had caused the scales and skin to part, causing some minor bleeding, and after he woke up, the doctors complimented on his behavior, and later, a Prospekt Unit then came by and started to escort Raz back to his cell, taking their time, but then stopping by the yard and one of the personel escorting Raz went to where Bailey was and stood beside Ray, clad in a thick armor, "Commander Bailey. Private Simmons, my orders are to bring the prisoner, R-42, back to his cell... is there somewhere else you would like him to be? As you can override given orders. Also, the prisoner has shown improvement in their behaviour from the short time they've been out... just thought you should know.", the fox known as Private Simmons stood at ease, awaiting an answer, as Raz stood with 2 other guards at an intersection near where Bailey was.
-
Bailey looked over at Simmons, "Keep him here."

Bailey looked over at Simmons, "Keep him here."
-
Bricket walked over to the plate of food and took his share
"Guess this plate is the aperitif for the upcoming meals?"
-
*Wilhelm had already eaten his portion of food and was reading a book silently*
-
Zaida had rested a bit after she ate her small portion of food. She wasn't one to really socialize, especially while being locked up. She rested on the floor staring at the ceiling emotionless. 'I wish I could see the moon and stars again.' she thought to herself.
-
Normally he could do it as much as he wanted to do in his cell but it became boring to read the minds of the same person.
Being in this new situation Bricket loved it to now and then read someones thought, it was a refreshing thing to do to know the person by knowing what they know.
"So guys, what are we gonna do when we've proved the doc wrong? Are we gona celebrate it or?" asked Bricket out loud hoping to initiate a social conversation
-
Bailey looked over at Simmons, "Keep him here."

Bailey looked over at Simmons, "Keep him here."
Simmons nodded and brought Raz into Bailey's view, tethering him to a steadfast pole and locking him there, tied up to it, and Raz simply looked around, a look of fear on him.
-
*Wilhelm looked up from his book*"Heh, Might be one of the first of many Victories...For us atleast"
-
After a few hours, The intercom could be heard, "Stowe. Get out from there now... Or face punishment." Bailey looked at the intercom and sighed, he looked at the group and smiled, "It was nice talking to you all. I'm sorry that you have to be in this situation." He stood up and made his way out.
It was 11PM
-
Al was debating as to whether he should sleep or not. Looking over at the violin, he decided to keep it close to him. If worst came to worst, he could use it as a weapon. So, picking up the instrument, he walked over to his bed, taking a lower bunk and lay down on it. He kept his back up against a wall, staring at the door with his left eye, keeping the other one closed.
-
Raz was sent back to his cell, a plate of cold beef sitting in there with a few flies around it.
After begrudgingly eating his cold and probably rotten meal, and later laying down, groaning from the rotten meat he ate, 'Don't vomit... It's one of my few meals... I hope Zaida is okay..."
-
The lights began to flicker, then. They shut off. At this time the lights turned off every single day in this area.
-
Raz smiled at the lights turning off, knowing at this time, he was mostly left alone, so as the final guard left his area of his sector, he pried off a bit of the harness around his soulstone and the room around him lit up with a soft red glow, simulating his old home... he missed his parents... so much... when they had tried to defend Raz from being taken away, the units shot them and took Raz... and somewhere along the line when a unit was abusing Raz, he saw Zaida and called for her... however that part of his memory was fuzzy, he knew that he felt better after. Raz was running the memories through his thoughts, most being happy, that is until he got to the time when he was taken away, then, the illusions started to become apparitions of a nightmare, transparent and harmless, but still terrifying, and when a guard came by, Raz closed up the harness and the apparitions and illusions disappeared in a topaz coloured dust.
-
Zaida gave a weak wave, not facing the vulture as he left. It took her by surprise when the lights in the cell went off, however it was nice not to have lights constantly on. The teal parts of her body softly illuminated the cell. She looked over when hearing Raz call out. "..Hm?"
-
Raz perked up when he heard a glimpse of Zaida's voice, "Zaida?", Raz's soulstone still shone through it's cover, and it made a soft red glow towards the ground
-
Al looked around in the blackened cell. It was definitely too dark to see the un-illuminated portions, but he could always use his hearing and smell. He whistled calmly the tune of Blue Wrath, keeping his left eye as open as he could.
-
Bailey sat back down in the Testing observation area. Night vision was active so they could see everyone in the room. He looked at the Doctor with an uncomfortable stare, "What is it Stowe? Have you turned against us?" Bailey shock his head, "No.... It's nothing just ignore me." The Doctor scuffed and began to look at the monitors again.
-
Bricket got into his bed, it was probably late but he still couldn't get any proper sleep.
'Will they release me if I pass the test? I would love to go home' He turned around and saw a camera hanging.
Instead of looking away he stared right into it
-
Raz waited to be mostly alone again and he opened his harness again and made the illusions appear again, the far side of the room showing a rough firey outline of Raz playing with two larger dragons, and Raz simply sat and watched it, smiling something happy, a feeling he rarely felt in this awful place, and it ultimately fell onto the same nightmare-ish apparitions, and this time the figures appearing much like a Prospekt unit, circling Raz's smaller form, and then the real Razuel laying on the ground, trembling and holding his head, much like his smaller figure.
Raz kept holding his head, trembling in his spot, "Stop... Please... It hurts..."
-
*Nixon didn't feel like talking much. He was too happy the precautions and his suit were removed. But he eventually became tired and fell asleep in a random bed before the lights went out and Bailey left. That night Nixon had a dream, a lucid dream, he was there in the facility but red lights were everywhere. In his dream there was no sound. But he could see Bailey fighting!
"What? I don't...understand. How could."
*Nixon couldn't interact with the dream but he could see it. The dream went on for a while. A lot of fighting and gun flashes but no sound. He eventually saw a very large pair of doors slowly open. And with that the only noise heard was a gun shot, a scream, blood and feathers. Nixon awoke in a cold sweat breathing very heavily that night. (Around 1:00 AM.).*
(If this were a book I would TOTALLY name chapter two.
"Blood and Feathers."
Just saying.)
-
CHAPTER 2: Blood and Feathers
-
Zaida laid in the same spot like a corpse, just staring at the ceiling. Before she grew stressed out and eventually sat up, biting her nails and tapping her foot, to hugging herself and taking deep breaths to stay calm. Eventually she walked over to her bed, wrapped in her blanket in hopes to fall asleep.
-
Al decided he needed to swap eyes, and did so. Things were eerily quiet. He was feeling a bit on edge, almost like he wanted something to happen.
-
Day 2
The same thing happened. A cook and two Prospekts came into the room and placed a small dish of food. It was breakfast time
-
Raz hadn't slept all night, as his complaining slowly grew louder, causing sparks to flake off of his illusions, some actually making sparking noises, as if it were made of a slow reacting explosive material.
"No... no... Stop! STOP! PLEASE!", in his mind, the memories kept turning more violent, and although he couldn't see shots hitting him, in his mind, he could hear them whizzing around his head and hitting the ground.
His complains seemed to carry in an echo through the facility.
His effects seemed to scare off the cook from his cell, and the local guards to that sector.
-
*Nixon was fast asleep even when they brought the food in. The dream had him up most of the night. He was sleeping more soundly but still tossing every now and then. He was gonna be a sleep for a while.*
(Bed time for me. I'll post in the morning. 7-8 ish hours.)
-
*Wilhelm was reading a new book, the dark didn't seem to bother him too much as he had a calm smile while reading he looked at the food come in before he looked at everyone... almost everyone was still asleep by the time it arrived
-
The lights flickered back on. The room was fully illuminated again, and a familiar voice could be heard, "Rise and shine everyone. Breakfast is here." It was the Doctor. It seems like he had watched you all for the whole night. Once the chief and Prospekts left Bailey came into the room.
He paced back and forth and waited for everyone to wake up
-
Zaida shot up as the lights turned back on. Her teal eyes were pitched black, she twitched, drooling while she snarled at the vulture. She quickly snapped out of it, her eyes back to their original color, and quickly stopped baring her teeth. The tired Vexū just sat down on the bed rubbing her head from the sudden migraine. "Ugh.." She groaned softly.
-
Raz snapped out of his panic and his flickering illusions disappeared to the same orange dust as before, but Raz still stayed curled up, hiding in the camera's blindspot, softly crying, muttering 'Zaida' as she was his only parental figure, or at least as close to such as he could get to, and on the floor, there were actual tears, but they had some sort of glow to them, subtle and barely noticeable.
Raz sat curled up in the corner, softly crying, the sorrowed sounds seemed to carry through the facility, stronger close to his sector, and fairly faint towards the earlier alphabet sectors
-
Zaida looked over to the feral curled up in the corner mumbling her name. "Shh, what's wrong?" She murmured softly in somewhat tired tone. The monster approached the feral carefully.
(Gtg to bed.)
-
Raz pulled Zaida closer to him and into his curl, cuddling her like a teddy bear, trying to get some comfort, but was gentle enough to not choke her, "Nightmare... remembered my.... past... mommy... daddy... *sniff* dead...", he then tightened the hug and kept crying.
There was residue of his illusions left on the floor, giving a crystaline shine and sandy texture.
-
Bailey stood watching the two, his hand folded behind his back. His eyes meet the ground and his facial features showed nothing but sorrow. He knew how bad the situation was. But he knew he had to just watch.
-
Raz glanced at Bailey and hid his head back in his curl, resting it on Zaida's lap.
-
Al opened his second eye, and stetched as he stood up. "Another night... Another bite..." He walked around a little, stretching his legs.
-
Bailey made his way towards Raz. He sat down next to him with his legs crossed. He looked down at Zaida then up to Raz, "You okay?" He said in a calm and caring voice. Bailey knew that if he did this he would get in trouble. But he didn't care.
-
shoon sutmbled towords the smell of breakfast and sat down when he heard his foot bump into a bowl, he picked it up and ate a spoonful of whatever thing was in there "yuck!" he sudnly said, he hated the way it tasted, but he forced himself a couple more spoons before standing up and following bailys voice to whereever he was asking his question again "could you please take off my helmet?".
-
Bailey looked at Shoon then the food then back towards Shoon. He got up from his sitting position and proceeded to take the helmet off. After he took the helmet off, he sat back down by Raz's side.
-
Raz wasn't very fond of people like Bailey and only shook when Bailey neared him, "Please... don't hurt me..."
-
Bailey frowned, his eyes meet the floor. He knew of the reputation he got from this place. He didn't enjoy it. But he was forced to. He stood up from his sitting position and spoke, "I won't..." He turned around and made his way out of the testing zone.
-
"Yes finally!" Shoon said happly and opend his eyes slowly 'i can see! I can see' he though to himself and smiled. Shoon sat down on his own hair which was very long, around knee height "thank you".
-
Bricket opened his left eye first and stared at the ceiling
"Did roomservice allready visit us?", he turns around to see the "breakfast" already being served, "Looks delicious, we have it better than the Hilton."
He gets up from his bed and walks towards the dish of food and stares at it for a minute to then take a bite from it "You know, not my taste too" he says towards Shoon
-
"atleast they give us food, its not very obvious considering where we are"
-
"let's see: they underfeed us with bad food and are trying to recreate an hostile enviroment" said Bricket to Shoon "it's kinda obvious they are only going to pick the data they like to prove their point."
-
Raz raised his head and looked at Bailey, "Tha...nk y-you...", Raz then put his head back into his curl and kept comforting himself against Zaida
-
Zaida didn't enjoy being touched, but allowed the feral to use her as some form of comfort.
-
Raz sensed Zaida growing uncomfortable and he let her go, looking down at her feet, "Sorry..."
-
*Wilhelm seemed to be writing something in a aged and torn notebook*
-
After stretching out his muscles whilst walking, Al walked back over to his bed and began doing exercises.
-
The Doctor took note of Zaida and Raz, he jotted down some notes and looked right back at the monitor. Bailey stood behind him watching the monitors as well.
"Doctor... Can we cancel the project?" Bailey asked with a sigh.
The Doctor looked back at him, his face was covered with confusion, "Stop it? But why?!" He said with a smile.
Bailey frowned, "This is going no where..." He pushed the doctor aside and yelled into the intercom, "You will all be released back to your cells today. The test has been cut short." The guards in the room left to let everyone out. The Doctor stood up and yelled, "YOU CAN'T DO THAT! I'LL HAVE YOU PROSECUTED FOR THIS!" Bailey pushed past the Doctor, "Then do it." He said.
The doors swung open and the guards began to yell, "Precautions on!"
-
Bricket looked confused "No way man, why?" he said as the guards stormed into the room
'gotta get as much info as I can' are this thoughts when he starts reading everyone in the room their minds, not knowing if it is the last time he could do it.
-
Al sighed, getting up from his 40th pushup. "Was nice while it lasted." He put his mask on, and waited for someone to clip on his shock-collar.
-
Raz got up and looked at Zaida, giving her a soft smile and then a short lick on the cheek, sitting in his spot, head lowered, waiting for his collar to be clipped back on, he then looked back at Zaida and then to the guards, "Can sh... she come with mm-mme?"
-
One of the guards looked over at Zaida then back towards Raz, he shook his head. "No. She can't."
-
Raz sighed and tilted his head, "Why?"
-
The guard looked over at Raz his face grew mildly red, "Because she can't. You go to the Feral Sector, she goes to the Anthro Sector."
-
Raz pressed on, "Why do we hav... have to b-be put in sektours?"
-
Zaida's thoughts were cold and dark but scrambled about she thought one thing after another. She was silent as they were putting her precautions on, getting a bit stressed and aggravated with everything that was going on. She had bags under her eyes from the lack of rest and heart seemed to race, everyone's voices became muffled. As the muzzle grew close to her face she began to snarl until she snapped. biting the muzzle and thrashing it around. The monster shoved the guard into the wall, her cuffs not activated yet allowed her to punch and claw the stranger. Trying to bite him but the armored guard kept his arm in her mouth to avoid serious damage.
-
Raz was surprised at Zaida actions, but quickly caught on, looking at the guard with solid crimson eyes, "And why do I have to listen to you!?, Zaida, help get my harness off...", Raz then picked up the guard infront of him and threw it into the door's locking mechanism, jamming it open.
-
Bricket walked a bit towards the wall and decided to sit on the bed 'now I get it why he called us animals', he felt cheated on. The doctor used every oppertunity to break people and this was his ultimate trick to break some of the prisoners.
He looked at the cameras with a fake smile hoping that the doctor would see this
-
Al decided to take advantage of the fact that his shock collar wasn't still on and readied himself with his violin. The wolf allowed his focus to spread, and the world began to slow down through his perspective (because he sees faster). He began taking in every detail, watching all the guards movements, preparing to strike.
-
Bailey's eyes lit up, his blood boiled, and his hands shook in anger. He pulled his radio out and screamed into it, "I NEED BACKUP AT TESTING AREA!"
After a few short minutes Riot Prospekt Units (http://img.timeinc.net/time/daily/2007/0711/tbilisi_police.jpg) came rushing in. The room became flooded with them. It was silent for a second, then a loud yell could be heard coming from one of the Prospekts, they all rushed towards Raz and Zaida, stunsticks in hand and riot shields in the other.
-
Al ditched his violin at the closest prospekt unit to Zaida as hard as he could. Easily enough to shatter the instrument upon impact. He then began moving to attack some more of them.
-
*Wilhelm sighed before his collar, ehich wasn't secured was thrown at the nearest riot prospekt*
-
Bricket ran towards the door to then be stopped by Bailey
"Look, I want to get out here Bailey." Said he "You know this is wrong, you know that this action will only make it worse"
-
Raz began to laugh as a sparkling red haze formed around his body, it then sparked and caused a minor explosion, obliterating his harness and mitts, showing his fierce claws, "You wanna play? I LOVE THIS GAME!!", he then pounced at a prospekt and threw them across the room into a camera, destroying it, he then continued to fight, working with Zaida to fend them off, he then saw a familiar marking on one of the prospekt's armor and Raz somehow, became more fierce, b-lining after this prospekt, "YOU KILLED MY FAMILY!!!", Raz was unsure however, and had mistaken this one, and was soon surrounded, and was slowly losing, "GET AWAY!!"
-
Bailey looked at Bricket his face was red. He looked at the Prospekts and growled, "What's done has been done..." He kept blocking the door.
The Prospekt that was hit in the head staggered and looked over at Al he rushed towards him and swung at him with a stunstick.
The Prospekt that was hit with the collar got hit he quickly ran towards Wilhelm with his shield like he was going to ram him.
The ones that got hit in the explosions got back up, limbs where missing, the limpt towards Raz with stunsticks raised. Once they all got around him they began to hit him.
-
*Wilhelm looked at the prospekt*"I'm getting too old for this.."He said before dodging out of the way, he seemed to be panting*"Damnit"
-
Al was easily able to dodge the swing with his improved perception, grabbing hold of the arm with the stunstick and swinging the prospekt around, before throwing it back a little.
-
*Wilhelms fists were covered in ice as he slowly recoved from his dodge*"Just like old times..."*He said looking at the propekt*"Alrighty MR Roboto"
-
Zaida was pinned to the wall by multiple prospekts, as well as the cuffs had activated and pinned her arms behind her back. Now unable to do anything, she was useless and held down against her will. One guard ran up to her before tranquilizing her, although oddly enough it didn't take effect. However pissed her off making her struggle more, in attempt to break free from the prospekts.
-
Bricket looked neutral at Stowe "okay, if you want to do this." He starts to focus on Stowe's thoughts and to find a way to reach a weak spot in his mind.
"Stowe, ask yourself: who's the animal now? We, who are defending ourself or the person who's denying someone his request for safety? This is your moment Stowe, it's here where you can make a difference"
-
Raz looked around for Zaida until he saw her, his eyes returning to normal, and then running over to her, pulling her out and holding her, forming some force field around him and Zaida, causing any who touched the shield to be coated in a timed fire explosion, "Zai...da... what... do. . . I.. . do?...", Raz had used up too much of his energy in those small bursts and he ended up falling down from exhaustion, and he kept Zaida safe under him, making sure not to crush her, but began to do short bursts of roars as he was hit repeatedly by the stun batons, "It... ARGHH!! HURTS!!!"
-
Prospekts began to slowly limpt towards Raz and Zaida, limbs had been severed and circuits could be seen. They looked like an army of the undead.
The Prospekt that was thrown by Al quickly feel on his back, he got up and roared. something was ominous about this, a robot. Filled with anger and hatred. Like they were meant to be programmed like that.
The Prospekt that was attacked by Wihelm ran towards his and threw a punch at him.
-
*Wilhelm blocked it, yet his ice fists cracked under the force of the punch*"Augh!"*He grunted in pain before thowing a punch towards the prospekts head*
-
Al cocked an eyebrow, but didn't stay focused on it for too long. He rushed the prospekt and flying roundhouse kicked it straight on the head.
-
The Prospekts head went flying off, it stood for a second. He spoke for a second, "Processors.... Overrunned." He fell to his knees and just died.
The Prospekt that was kicked by Al went flying it hit the wall. It shook for a second or two. Then it shut down.
-
*Wilhelm grabbed the head, his hand turning to normal exceot for the large bloody crack-like cuts on his arms*
-
Al turned his attention to the prospekts hitting Raz and grabbed his violin's bow before rushing over. He called out to the prospekts; "Oi! How about you rusty tin cans come and try your luck with me?!"
-
Raz's body shook from each hit, "Zaida! It hurts!!"
-
*The head froze over in wilhelms hand before he threw it at another prospekt*
-
They all looked over at Al, then a loud gunshot could be heard. More Prospekts could be seen running into the yard with guns in hand.
Bailey looked over at Bricket and sighed, "If I could.... I would stop this. But your friends have done enough damage."
-
"Stowe, let me walk out of this one. Make the difference, save someone, save at least one, please." Bricket looked Stowe right in the eyes with a saddening look of dispair
-
Al's ears flicked at the gunshot. He was familiar with dodging bullets, but he wasn't going to be able to take out all the guards. Not whilst he was unarmed. And then it occured to him that the propsekt units were carrying stun sticks. He picked one up and looked around to see where the guns wielders were.
-
Bailey looked at Bricket and shook his head, "I can't..."
Facing Al and the others was a huge group of Prospekts with machine guns in hand. Bailey crept around Bricket and yelled, "Surrender now! Or you will not be killed!"
-
*Wilhelm looked at the prospekts equipped with guns, as he wheezed from the effort he was putting into his powers, he grunted*"Damnit.... I'll need to think..."*He said looking at the riot shield the prospekt had*
-
Zaida sighed. "Stay calm its ok, don't pay attention to them. Pay attention to me, lay down... They'll stop, just listen." She said softly to the feral.
-
*All the commotion woke up Nixon. He was scared at first and still groggy from sleep. But watching the fight made more and more awake. When the gun shot he shot out of bed stretched and said*
"I don't take likely to rude awakenings."
*He threw his hands forward and activated his sound creation ability. He threw many pulses of sound at the door keeping the propsekts back. Pushing the ones with shields closer to the door trying to keep the guns back and disabled. He had to be careful cause of the friendlies nearby.
But it was no use. One the propsekts shot nix with a taze gun. He fell to the ground immediately.*
-
*Wilhelm looked at bailey before looking at the shield again, he slowly grabbed the shield*
-
Raz grunted and let out cries from each hit, blood was starting to drip out of the spots where he was being hit, "It hurts... so much..."
-
The Prospekts broke through and quickly began to stop all violence.
Bailey slowly made his way towards the group. He sighed and said, "You guys screwed up...." He turned his head and behind him was the Prospekt in the trench coat. He stood staring at them. "Prospekt Units cease fire." They all stopped hitting and firing. And rushed towards the Trench Coat Prospekt. They all stood at attention even the ones with lost limbs.
Bailey spoke, "You all will be sent to Nova Prospekt..." The Trench Coat Prospekt laughed along with the rest of them. Bailey stood frowning.
-
Machine guns... This isn't good... The riot shields might be able to hold off some of the fire, but maybe not for too long from that many robots... The robot's weakness is the head... If I can just overload one of them, I have a shot at taking them all out. But... at what cost. The wolf looked over at his fellow inmates. Beaten and battered. He may be able to keep fighting, but they sure couldn't. And despite not really caring too much for everyone, it just wouldn't be right to throw all their lives away. He clenched his teeth, knowing full well he would rather die than remain captive, but dropped the stun baton and raised both his hands into the air. "F***ing hell..."
-
*Wilhelm leaned on the shield, his heart felt like giving out and his body ached he coughed as he wheezed heavily*
-
Each one of them had there precautions forcefully put on, Bailey yelled, "If you resist... You die."
-
Bricket stood all alone at the door opening, he could escape but what after that?
He decides to stand at the opening of the door looking at the rest, for a second he could even imagine himself being the guard of leader of the guards.
-
"Oh cut the tough guy act you big p-" he was cut off by a powerful shock of his collar which lasted a good few seconds. It doubled him over and got him panting. Any longer, and it might have killed him. The wolf grit his teeth, but stood up straight and gave Bailey a death stare.
-
Raz's precautions were put on him, but couldn't stand as his condition had left him weak, barely able to stand, wheezing as he breathed
-
*Wilhelm sighed before he regained his composure, he kept silent looking at bailey... He seemed to have a feeling of utter betrayal*
-
Zaida huffed. "No. No... Wait." She shook her head "shouldn't it be me, i did start it... Got everyone all riled up. So shouldn't I be the one getting punished, besides it'll be easy and quick rather doing everyone?" She panted lightly. "It only seems fair.."
-
Raz looked at Zaida, "Zaida... no..."
-
Bricket still stood at the door putting his arms behind his back, he then softly said: "Stowe, you and I need to talk." his tone wasn't angry nor disappointed. It was like he had a proposal
-
Bailey looked over at Zaida, he stepped towards her and sighed, "You're a strong person for saying that." He looked over at the Prospekts and gestured them to come over. Two came over and grabbed Zaida, and took her away.
The place they took her was dark, cold and rusted looking. it smelt of blood and fear, it was on the lowest floor of the Facility as well.
Each step they took the screams of agony could be heard getting louder. Zaida was thrown into a small cell with only a Bed that sat on the floor, a dirty sink and toilet.
Bailey looked over at Bricket and made his way towards him, "What?"
-
*Wilhelm sighed, he has never felt a more soul consuming feeling of helplessness it truly was hopeless to escape this place*
-
Bricket did the gesture to Stowe to come closer
"Stowe, this could have prevented. Imagine if someone was around here to know what they were thinking, to know when to interfere."
He spoke silent hoping no one would hear him, "we need to talk about it, because I could be a great asset"
-
Al watched them take her away, and bowed his head with respect. "If this 'hell' they speak of is as bad as it sounds... that was quite the sacrifice..."
-
Bailey looked at Bricket and sighed, "This I don't know about..."
-
Raz tried to chase after her, but was too weak to even stand, "Zaida!... noo...", tears began to stream down his face again, having been filled with dread as he lost the only person that had virtually replaced his mother... and now he lost her... and he thought it was going to be forever
-
Bricket looked at Stowe with a smile: "I stood here all alone, I could have taken the run for it and gone away."
He shows his arms from his back and used his right hand to gesture for a handshake "I had the discipline to stay here, some guard got seriously hurt. This shouldn't have happened." His facial expression changes into a soft smile "Imagine if I were on your side, being able to stop a riot before the riot even began"
-
Bailey thought for a second, he looked at Bricket and shook his head, "I can't. Administration would never allow it." He shook his hand and smiled, "Thank you for being honest and trying... I'll put a good word for you in. You will not be punished for this incident."
-
Raz looked at Bailey, "You said you promised not to hurt us!"
-
Bailey looked over at Raz, "I said I wouldn't hurt you. They didn't! You attacked us, so we attacked back!"
-
"Stowe, let me talk with administration if it helps you. You and I know I can handle this pretty well, heck I would love to work here." He then looked at the cameras "even the doc would allow me, you know I'm not like the rest."
He looked at the floor "also thank you for not punishing me but please, let me do this"
-
"I generally respected you, you goddamn turkey..."*He growled towards Bailey*
-
Razuel tried to stand again, his steps stumbling as he began walking towards Bailey, "Then... help... me...", blood was dripping from the severe burn wounds from the stun batons that had hit him repeatedly

CHAPTER 3: Finest Hour
CHAPTER THEME https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t--n7oU_oRk (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t--n7oU_oRk)
-
'Shouldn't be too bad...' Zaida thought, in a sense to comfort herself while looking around the cell trying to ignore the screams. Sore, she limped over to the bed and laid down to rest. 'It'll be over soon.'
-
(medal of honour music...
Chapter name....
Subtle stowe is subtle)
-
Bailey looked at Raz and tried to help him up, while he ran towards him he yelled to Bricket, "NO!" He called out for someone to get a medic.
-
"No problem then Mr Stowe, if you want this to happen."
Bricket walks over to a normal guard "I would love to file a complaint, can I speak to the doctor as the higher person in charge here to adress my complaint?"
-
Raz walked along with Bailey, speaking to Bailey softly, "Do you hate us?..."
-
(Shoon you're kinda late to the party bud, the fight is over)
-
*Wilhelm sat on the ground something wasn't right about this... losing his temper would just land him in hotter waters, he regained most of his composure after his outburst*
-
*in nixons Tased state he didn't want the precaution. He tried to crawl away but didn't make it far before he was held in place on the ground while the suit was put back on his twitching body. He really didn't want to be imprisoned. He just wanted to be...more. Not a criminal but not a vigilante. He wanted to do good. He tried his best to get free but couldn't manage. He did however steal an ID card off of a guards belt meant to open doors and it looked very important. He quickly hid it in his sleeve. Might be useful.*
-
Ray, upon hearing the call for a medic, returned a few minutes later with the on-staff medical officer. The young raccoon, though he possessed no hatred or fear for the prisoners, had his assault rifle locked and loaded. He led the doctor to the cell, and shouted out at the others. "A-Arms on the wall! Back a-away from the wounded!"
-
Raz looked at Ray and sat down, stumbling and almost falling down, but sat still and cooperated with the medic
-
Zaida sat in the dirtied bed, More cuts and bruises added to her body. She was sore and just tried her best to rest as much as she could... As she may need it soon.
-
Three days later.
The intercoms went off and a loud voice could be heard, "Bricket. When the doors open you will step out with your hands up." He was in his cell
-
Raz was laying down in his cell, gauze and medical ointment running around his body, but despite the passed days, Raz was still too weak to stand, at least without a support, but to make things worse, he refused to eat as he was constantly worrying about Valdis
-
Bricket was surprised by the announcement.
He got out of his bunkbed and went towards the door 'oh great, guess I'm the next visitor of Nova Prospekt"
-
Al had managed to take his mind off the happenings of three days ago, focusing on maintaining his body and mind. He managed to get out without an injury, as well as some insight to the prospekt units. This would come to benefit him at a later date, but if and when that time would come was a mystery
-
Raz finally broke his own silence and spoke to a guard, "Can I speak to... the... commander?"
-
*Wilhelm was writing something while he laid on his bed*
-
Whilst waiting he started to think about the event of 3 days ago 'I could have seen it coming and I did, should I've warned them?' Starts Bricket thinking.
The possibility existed to warn Stowe on time but then he would have been excluded by the rest of the others
-
(I changed my sona completely, no longer looks the same... New name is Valdis.)
-
Ray, who was stationed at the cells, turned to Raz and shook his head. "The commander is currently being psychologically tested for his latest actions."
-
Raz looked gangly and his ribcage could seen outlined on Raz's body, a chef walked by with food for another feral in the sector, "Mr. Ray, I'm aware of your policies here, but this one here... um, R-42? Yeah, he hasn't eaten anything in the last few days... a psych said that he's... depressed... but this is worse... From my understanding, he misses Valdis(Zaida)...", Raz perked up slightly at that name and he weakly nodded, "How... is... Valdis?...", Raz's voice was raspy and very breathy as he talked
-
Ray shook his head. "I cannot authorize cell transportation. You'll have to take it up with the commander, who is pre-occupied at the moment."
-
The chef spoke up, "Since you're here, and on camera, I suggest you try and get him to eat... otherwise his death will, or might, be yours...", in that after instant, the Chef vanished, presumably around a corner or to a lower level, but was no where to be seen.
Raz laid on the floor on his side, chest rising and falling tightly as he breathed, bags under his eyes, darkened by lack of sleep
-
Ray nodded, and turned to Raz. "If you do not eat, your friend will be punished."
-
Al had finished his workout routine for that day and sat, facing the bars of his cell. There's got to be some way to get out of here... He blankly looked around his cell, trying to spot even the tiniest hint at a fault or route of escape.
-
Raz's eyes went wide and he looked at Ray with tearing eyes, "N-no... I- I just want to see them... that's all...", Raz at this point, was trying to stand, his legs shaking under his weight, stumbling over to the door that separated Ray and Raz, "I-I'll eat... but... l-let me see Valdis... please..."
-
Ray stepped away from the door, and brandished his rifle. "I-I can't let y-you do that! S-Sit down and eat, please!" His rifle had the empty magazine loaded.
-
Raz has had enough guns pointed at him, and as such, knew specific clicks that sounded when there was no ammo loaded, so he put his mitted paw on the barrel of the guns and gently pushed it down, "There's no... need for that...", another Chef walked by and gave Raz some roast beef, and then left, "I'll eat... but I want you to... take me to her for a... visit... please..."
-
Ray was obviously nervous, visibly shaking in his boots. "I-I'll h-have to take it up w-with commander B-Bailey."
-
Raz nodded, "Thank... you...", Raz then laid down in front of the platter with the beef and began to eat it, "Don't take too long please..."
-
*Wilhelm closed the book, he sighed and threw it on the floor*"I'm... At a loss of thought"*He said to himself before he tapped hoof against the floor*
-
(I'm sorry :S I'll be keeping the name Zaida. She's just going through a major transformation in appearance. That's all.)
Zaida tapped her foot against the cold hard floor. The monster leaned her head back against the wall while studying the room with a snarl. "I can't stay anymore..." She murmured to herself, her head slowly bowed down between her knees. Zaida roared with anger, slamming her back to the wall once more.
-
*Wilhelm sighed tapping his finger aginst his head*"I've gotten this far, I can't just draw up blanks..no..."*He looked around the cell he was in, before looking at the small book 'Helix Experience' He's been writing this thing In seceret and has gotten pretty far since the first page, He's been hiding it within his cell for a long time yet the guards aren't any wiser to his actions*
-
Ray jumped at Zaida's roar, and immediately approached her cell. "Quiet, p-please!"
-
Bailey opened the door and looked at Ray, "What the hell is going on in here?"
-
Ray turned and saluted to Bailey. "O-One of the s-subjects got r-rowdy sir, t-that's all."
-
Raz finished eating and sat at his cell door, waiting for Ray or someone to return saying if he'd be able to visit Zaida
-
Bailey sighed and raised his hand forward, "Get back in your cell..."
-
The buzz went off and Bricket walked out of the door like he was supposed to.
'allright let's find out what's going on here' he thinks whilst walking towards the guards
-
(Pretend that didn't happen)
-
Ray pointed over to Raz's cell, as he spoke to Bailey. "T-That one there w-Wants to visit another subject, sir."
-
Bailey noticed it was Raz. He grew mildly annoyed, He knelt down and stared Raz in the eyes, "You are not aloud to see Zaida. You must wait."
-
Al didn't continue his search long. He actually wasn't all that impressed with how strict and cruel this center was as opposed to the others. He simply ate, exercised and meditated, undisturbed by any cell-mates or dodgy guards.
-
Zaida laid in the middle of the cell's dirtied floor, her jumpsuit torn revealing some of her fur. Staring at the ceiling emotionless, her eyes were cold. The monster panted lightly, thirsty and hungry...
-
Ray began his patrol around the cell block, continued down to the basement, and stopped at Zaida's cell. Noticing the complete disarray, he grabbed his radio. "We n-need a uh...containment and uh...maintenance crew in the subject cell block. One of the cells need cleaned."
-
Bailey noticed it was Raz. He grew mildly annoyed, He knelt down and stared Raz in the eyes, "You are not aloud to see Zaida. You must wait."
Raz's eyes tears up a bit, "But... wh-why? I just want to visit..."
-
(Ray, Zaida is not with the others. She's in the lowest floor in the worst part of the jail.)
Bailey proceeded to make sure Raz's precautions were still tightened. He whispered, "Five minutes."
-
Raz perked up when Bailey mentioned how long he'd have to wait, but played along and sulked back to where his 'bed' is, and laid down on it, but his instinctively shaking tail, shook as he was a bit too happy, whapping on the floor slightly as he stayed curled up.
-
After five minutes Bailey had returned, he pointed at Raz and spoke, "Come with me."
-
((I didn't know that. Fixed it though.))
Ray sighed, and checked his weapon. After a few minutes, he spoke to Zaida. "Why do you wish to live in squalor?"
-
*Wilhelm sat quietly... He was deep in thought*
"We all bleed and think, yet we are being thrown into the lowest rings of society... We are seen as Animals and Mutants yet we look no different then those who are powerless, Why must we be prosecuted for that which we can't control? should we be thrown into the lowest slums of society just because we are Mammals or Reptiles?"
"..."
"It just doesn't sit well knowing that we are being treated like animals, yet have no external or internal differences except that of which was thrust onto us at birth..."
-
After a few minutes of walking. They finally reached Nova Prosepkt, it was a dark and cold looking place. After a few more moments of walking they reached Zaida's cell. He sat back and watched but kept the cell door shut.
-
Raz ran to the bars of Zaida's cell door, "Zaida? Zaida! Are you there?"
-
Zaida laid on the bed ignoring the calls. She faced the wall instead, her eyes shut.
-
Raz searched the room with his eyes, seeing Zaida on her bed, he then hit the cell door, "Zaida!... please... answer me..."
-
Ray backed up, and brandished his rifle at Raz. "H-Hey! D-Don't go breakin' t-things!."
-
Raz started to get angry, and then looking directly at Ray, "What did you do...", Raz then turned around and swiped Ray's gun away and pinned them down, now roaring in their face, "What did you do to her!!"
-
Bailey ran towards Raz screaming, "God damn it I let you visit for five minutes!"
-
Raz got off Ray and laid down in front of Zaida cell, "Zaida... please... tell me you are.... still you..."
-
She grew aggravated. "Yes. Now how about you leave me alone or you'll get me in trouble." She hissed coldly.
-
Raz stepped back from the bars and put his head down, "I... I'm sorry for making you angry... I'll leave you alone now...", Raz slowly turned around and started to walk back to his cell with out Bailey or Ray, but knew that they'd follow after him shortly after.
-
Ray rolled his shoulder, and retrieved his gun. He sighed, and continued his patrol.
-
Bricket was still sitting in the jailcell.
Slowly his cynism was making place for anger, he felt worthless even tho he had a certain value according to himself.
He just started to get so angry because not even in a jail he could be useful
'Next time a riot is gonna happen I'm not going to warn anyone, let them kill eachother. Why should I care? One prisoner or guard more or less, what's the difference' crossed Bricket's mind
-
Al was starting to get sick of this. Nothing was happening. There was no one to beat into submission, no one to ignore and not even anyone to teach. He was going to die of boredom, but that didn't stop him from exercising. "678.... 679.... 680...." He muttered as he continued doing push ups against the bed.
((Who's the person who can read minds?))
-
Ray stopped outside of Bricket's cell, and sat against the wall. He sighed, and tried to let his mind relax.
-
"sure you want to stop here?" asks Bricket to the guard
"I mean, I can read people their minds and the question is if the precautions can keep doing their job or not", he then walks up to his celldoor "but tell me, what's going on?"
-
Ray looked up at Bricket for a moment, but turned his attention back to the floor. "Same stuff, different day." He sighed again, and shook his head. "Got jumped by one of the subjects..."
-
"'subjects'? That's how we're called? One doc calls us animals and you call us subjects?" Bricket now stood extremely close to the window in the door "Do you have any idea how we feel here? No outside connection? No one that cares about us? No purpose given for us? Do you know how it feels?"
-
Ray shook his head. "I cannot imagine how it feels to be in a cell day in day out. But I know how it feels to be alone, uncared for, with no contact with the outside world." He sighed. "Just not to the extent you all do. I'd call you something other than Subjects or Prisoners, but I don't have another word."
-
"people? Persons? Isn't that more fit? Also did you know that there were more people 'mutating' to say it in such an odd word? Maybe you could already be one of us yet you haven't discovered yet or don't want to discover. But if you are one of us: what then?" Bricket looked at Ray with a neutral stare "are you going to lock yourself up with us?"
-
Ray nodded. "Of course. You're safer in here than out there."
-
"but we prefer being outside. You see, sir, before I got all locked up and stuff the government wanted me to help them. I found it okay, I could be negotiator with hostage takers to get hostages free, I could be an investigator and solve crimes by just talking with a person and knowing what he thinks." He sighed and looks at the floor to be then overtaken by rage and slams as hard as he can against the door "But I got taken to here. A few days ago a riot happened and I could have prevented it yet no one wants to see me as a guard..." Bricket walked over to a wall and leaned against it "are they going to lock us up here untill we all die from old age?"
-
Ray shrugged. "I don't know." 'It's safer in here, the outside world would kill you all' he thought to himself.
-
"tell me sir, what am I according to you?" Bricket asked with his arms crossed
-
Ray looked up. "A person with extra-ordinary powers that needs to be sequestered from the outside world."
-
"why to be sequestered?" Bricket asked "because we're dangerous?"
-
Ray shook his head. "Because the outside world would never accept you. Being as different as you guys are? They'd see you as outcasts."
-
"I was doing pretty well you know? Especially when playing poker. If I kept it a secret I would have never ended up here." Bricket then has a small chuckle and looks at Ray "I don't know if you have any powers but if you have: keep them a very well kept secret."
-
Al approached his window and called from his. cell. "Listen to him. That man speaks a wiser truth than Aristotle or Socrates ever could."
-
Ray shook his head. "If I could let you out, I would. But your safety can't be guaranteed once you step outside these walls."
-
"Are you sure it's about our safety?" Asked Bricket.
-
Ray nodded, as he stood. "Yes. The normals pose a bigger threat than you think."
-
"Then you're mistaken. We lived a great life before all of this happened, it's not society that we should fear; It's the idea of living with us that you guys fear" Bricket then leaned against the door
-
Ray sighed. "I'd let you out if I could, but the rest of the guard'd have my skull."
-
Raz woke up in his cell to a mass of men and women in white trench coats, and when he tried to get up, on of them stabbed his side with a cattle prod, causing him to roar out in pain, and they seemed to have attached an inhibitor to his arm to make him weak do he couldn't fight back.
His roar rang out into the rest of the facility along with the sound of electricity sparking.
-
"Then let me out, it's wrong to keep people like me locked up. Heck I could even help you guys" said he whilst looking at Ray with a serious tone
-
Ray shook his head. "I can't...I don't have permission."
-
"Then try to get the permission" He sighed "you've got to try"
-
Ray hung his head. "I-I...I don't know..."
-
Raz woke up in his cell, yawning and meeting a hungry gut, he then walked to his bars and ask a guard, "Food?"
