Title: Project Possum
Post by: PossumDeMort on August 14, 2016, 08:47:54 PM
Needed a new project so figured, why not make a fursuit?

Right now i only plan to do a partial, head and arms.

Going to carve out foam into a mask, furring right over head like a hood cause my head is big enough.

Made my dtd head and am glueing foam sheets together for head, attached is a shot of my shape sketch, shape look decent?

The shape looks good, I don't have a lot of experience in fursuiting (none to be fair).
But I do have some experience in building/glueing stuff so if you have questions about that: ask me

I don't know if you'd like some feedback, but if you're going to go with toony, I'm going to warn you: Make the eye-holes bigger, trust me x3

Hah, cool :D

I think so, yeah, judging by the photograph.
What you could always do is first see how you'd make the eyes. Something I at least find helpful when I made my head (only have to attach one ear, but that's been taking me two years to do for some reason :P). So I made the eyes separately, plopped them onto the head, and found out the eyes were pretty damn small on the head for the style I was going for.

Dunno if that helps? ^^;

You might want to cut the mouth open, even a little bit. It's a REALLY important air vent.
