I'm attempting to make my first fursuit, a cat with a mouthtail (cat named Vigi)
Would a yard of white fur (and half a yard of red) be enough for JUST the head/neck. I would wear it as a partial with a button up shirt like the one in the reference sheet.
I'm a pretty small person, 5'5" and 140 lbs.

The head base I'm going to use is a resin headbase from DreamVisionCreations located here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/176173048/small-feline-resin-head-blank-uncut-cut (https://www.etsy.com/listing/176173048/small-feline-resin-head-blank-uncut-cut)

yes, it will as long as you try to minimize the amount of fur you use. Cut out the pieces as close as you can together. It will be enough. I only used a yard for my head. I had enough spare for a tail and a pair of handpaws.
