Hi guys! Ibi here with a new RP for you all. I do have a couple of rules that I would like you to follow though, so we can avoid any unfortunate arguments.
Applications are simple - Just your name, species and element/s will be enough to start.
- Romance is allowed, but keep it PG.
- Magic in this world uses something called Aura, which needs to be replenished. Depending on how much you use, it can take anywhere between a few minutes and a week to fully recover. Aura is your life force, so the more you use, the less energy you have.
- This means, no god modding.
- Use of spells will alert evil to your presence, as your aura has a scent similar to your element.
- You may have complete mastery over one element, or partial mastery over two. Three is very difficult to attain, and four in near impossible.
Backstory time!
Welcome to a magical land, where the inhabitants keep it in balance by use of elemental magic. There are five elements: Air, Earth, Fire, Water, and one other only known by the most powerful of mages. There is only one being alive who knows this power, and she must be protected from all who will try to exploit her abilities.
Her name... is Mara Arakh.

Mara was in the tavern, watching a few men brawling over a game they had made up. She stretched her legs and stood up from the stool she had been on, before walking out the door. Looking at one of her arms, she saw a time etched into her forearm. She knew what it was, but she was yet to see it in action.
As she approached the inn she was staying at, she got the feeling that someone was watching her.

Species: Cat
Element: Um, so, like any element? Cause I kinda want to be the element of Wood, but seeing as how that is, like, a strictly oriental element I'm not sure it's allowed? If I can't be wood, I would choose earth though)

Element: Aether.
Name: Ibi Volkun
Species: Fox/Dragon hybrid
Element: Fire
Ibi was following the arachnid, carefully staying hidden from the public eye. They watched as Mara entered the inn, and made sure no one else was following. Quickly entering through the closing door, they stood behind the arachnid, watching out for any others who might want to take her.

Name: Folic Acid
Species: Hyena
Element(s): The bad guy so three (fire, water, and air) working on four.
'Folic walked around the small town dark robes flowing behind him and a ball of fire danced in a palm.' Hmmm I wonder how to learn earth I have three it's just me and earth have never gotten along well...

Name: Bricket
Species: Wolf with minor fox-traits.
Elements: Water but also earth.
Backgroundstory: Bricket comes from a colder enviroment and has mastered the water element but also learned the earthelement.
However due to problems with family and friends he fled he enviroment, became a succesful trademan and settled in the small town.
He made sure that no one knew where he came from so he never told or has shown someone his skills over the elements
Bricket was sitting behind his desk, thinking of what to do tomorow.
He looked at his money and he knew he could have a day off.

Mara went up to her room with Ibi following close behind. The two had been travelling for quite a while and were keen to get some rest. Settling into the room, Mara lit the fire and candles, illuminating the room quickly.
"We need to find the elders and get your aura awakened." Ibi said. "Before anyone tries to do it themselves. Your power is dangerous and we can't let it fall into the wrong hands."
"I know..." Mara said. "That's why I've been training with this." She pulled out a long sword that glowed a dark red. The smell of lavender filled the room as she swung it a little, before sheathing it, the scent fading immediately.

Name: Mace Kovnul
Species: Red Fox
Elements: Mastery of fire, beginning to learn water
Background: Mace has always been different. His family of warriors had given him this name as per long tradition, however he wanted to follow his own path. He studied and learned the art of fire magic, but his mind was still open even after mastering it, so he began learning water to help those who need it.

Sitting in his room he felt it. Other mages are around, no doubt about it. And a lot of them at that matter. Spending years studying fire magic has let him feel the aura around. He stayed alert, planning on talking to them tomorrow, sharing knowledge. He had a feeling they are good fursons and it's a good idea to help them.

Brickets get's out of his rather large house.
and walks towards the inn'.
'A bit socializing might not hurt', is Bricket saying to himself.
He looks to a bar and sees a barfight happening, he smiles when thinking of what stupid reason it might be.
Walking through the streets of the small town he remembers the time he first got here, since then he didn't left.
Sunken in his thoughts he arrives at the inn'.
"Is the fireplace still open?" asks Bricket with a smile to the owners.

'Walking to the inn as well he extenguishes the flame and walks inside looking around her growls and sits at the bar.' Hey bartender. "Yeah what do you need?" I am looking for a rather strong mage she might have passed through here. "I don't know any mages Sir." Alright

Mara sat bolt upright, breathing heavily. She crept over and woke Ibi, "We need to go. I think someone's here and they're after me." She said.
"How do you know?" Ibi asked. "Your power hasn't awakened yet."
"It told me." Mara responded. "We need to find him soon, so I can awaken it." The runes on her forearm were glowing softly, but no scent was coming from it. The power sealed inside her was reacting to the inn, or rather, whoever was in it.
Ibi got up and prepared to leave - it was commonplace to only stay at the same place for a few hours at a time these days, ever since it had been sealed inside their cousin.
The preparations took a few minutes, but Ibi had finished copying the ancient runes on their forearm, making them glow with their own aura - leaving a faint scent of burning dust trailing behind them. They walked downstairs and out of the inn, making no effort to hide their forearm. There were looks of disgust and hatred cast towards them as they left the inn. After a few minutes, Mara followed, hiding the runes under a long sleeved tunic. Looking down so that no one could see her crimson eye, she left with great haste. Due to her not paying attention, she walked right into a wolf who was walking down the street.
"Oh... sorry. I wasn't looking..." She said, awkwardly.

'He sniffs and stands up and looks over seeing the glow of the runes her follows them from a safe distance and keeps his face hidden in the back of his robes.' Hmmm you thought you could run hmmm I have been chasing that scent since we started this...

Brickets looks surprised when he gets a stomp.
"ow", he tumbles and falls.
Laying on the ground he looks at the person that pushed him "well looks like someone is rushed".
He tries to get up and asks "why the rush actually? You can't really get out of town now, especially not now when it is dark"

"I... I'm lost." Mara lied. "I can't find my friend and I'm running around trying to find them." Looking around nervously, she calmed the power sealed inside her, causing the glow to fade. She saw Ibi and called out to them. Ibi walked over as fast as they could without appearing rushed.
"Problem?" Ibi asked.
"They're close." Mara said to both Ibi and the wolf - whom she would acquaint herself with after she'd escaped whoever was causing the Aether to quiver with worry.

'Walks up behind them and grabs hold of the twos I'm looking for shoulder.' Hey there I was just thinking where you two had went... 'whispers into their ears.' Follow me I know who is after you two I can help.

Brickets looks at both:
"Look, before you both start panicking and might get lost in the woods, come to my place."
Bricket turns around and points at his house, "there is enough room for 2 extra."
He then looks at the stranger: "However, for you I am affraid there might not be enough room, I can make sure you might have a nice place at the inn'"

As Folic grabs Mara, the shock causes a wave of energy to pulse from her arm. It surges out of her, causing her to pass out and knocking everyone in the vicinity down. Ibi had learned to handle the shock, so they were up quickly, tending to their cousin. The scent of burning dust and lavender was strong now, and the two relatives looked toward Bricket.
"We need a place to hide, but it will be very dangerous for us to stay longer than a day." Ibi said, picking up the unconscious Mara. "This guy sounds like he knows something, but I've only seen this happen a few times and never with an ally."

"Sure, is she allright?" asks Bricket.
He starts walking back to his house: "Just follow me, you're gonna love my house"
Bricket looks at the stranger and shouts at him whilst he is walking: "Go to the inn' and say that Bricket says you should get a room".
Whilst walking and seeing Bricket starts thinking -I hope they don't know past me-

"She's fine. But we can't discuss it out here. The locals are already scared." Ibi said, carrying Mara bridal-style.
I hope this guy knows his history... We need to find the Archmage of Valor so we can awaken Mara's power properly... They thought.
"Oh, by the way... I'm Ibi. This is Mara, my cousin." Ibi said.

The shockwave causes Mace to wake up from the unintentional nap. It was a power he never witnessed before. Dressing up quickly he goes out and to the point of origin, trying to feel the unknown power. He arrives and sees two... No, three figures in the distance, one being carried. He decides to follow them from a distance, too far to hear anything though.

"Nice to meet you Ibi, my name is Bricket"
They started walking with Bricket on top, now and then he looks behind to see if Ibi who carries Mara can catch up.
As the group is arriving at Brickets' house he proudly says: "Be welcome, be my guests."
He puts the key in his lock and he enters the house with Ibi slowly entering.
Bricket turns around and looks at Ibi :"Trust me, you're safe here' as he is saying that he grabs a bunch of stuff from the North and hides them.

Entering the house, Ibi looked around. There were a lot of interesting things that were lying around and Ibi noticed a couple of books on the table. "Is there a bed that I can put Mara on?" They asked.

"nice house..." mace whispers as he sits down, hidden a bit of a distance away, deciding to wait for something to happen before talking to the other mages.

Brickets looks at Ibi: "yeah, upstairs on the right there is a large bedroom."
He then gets to the kitchen and then says loud: "please do not read in the books on the table".
Before going back to the kitchen to set some water to boil he notices the door is still open, he then closes it

Ibi took Mara upstairs, laying her on the bed. They didn't really hear what Bricket had said, but they knew it was about the books. They made sure Mara was tucked in and warm before walking down the stairs. They could hear Bricket in the kitchen, so they followed the noise. Seeing him boiling water, Ibi leaned on the bench.
"Do you know what that was earlier?"

Bricket looks at the boiling water and calmly says: "I've seen run into me, then someone collapse and then 2 persons call for help to me."
He then looks at Ibi: "so to be short: actually not, explain me."
Looking back at the boiling water he keeps on saying: "but before you explain me, take a seat and tell me where you 2 come from and where you go to
and when you are done explaining that we can drink some tea"

"Well... we're from a long way away." Ibi said. "From a place called Vol'kanas. Everyone who can be taught magic is taught fire magic, because the Archmage of Justice resides nearby. My cousin was selected to contain a very powerful magic, one that is only seen in ancient scripts because there are too many who want to exploit it." Ibi said.
"We've been travelling for years, sometimes by mount, other times by foot, but we are almost always on the run."

Brickets looks fascinated and walks towards the seats at the fireplace, he makes the gesture to Ibi to join him.
He mumbles to himself "on the run? Guess I understand that"
"Magic? Wish it would be all true" he says out loud to Ibi, "that is something you could use in the profession I do"

'After being knocked down he recovered quickly and stood up but instead of going to the inn he followed them and sat a distance away from the house and seeing a new figure walk up and hide himself he stands and gets behind him igniting a fireball and covering maces mouth with one hand and putting the small ball under his chin.' Now listen to me if you want to live. I want you to go to that house and get the girls out here and grab them I will come and grab them too. If you decide to betray me I will destroy the house with all of you in it.

Shocked, Mace nods quickly. Despite the threat, he doesn't intend to help the villain. But there's no way now, he has to play along for a while. If the guy behind him is really after the mage inside he wont destroy the house because that would kill both him and his target. He slowly raises his paws up to show he's unarmed and doesn't intend any harm now, showing fear on his face.

Alright go. 'He lets go of Maces mouth but points the fireball at his back.' Get her and I will kill you all I would just prefer her alive so I can be the most powerful but without her I will still be powerful

Bricket walks back to the kitchen and makes the tea, there in the kitchen he asks to Ibi
"So tell me Ibi, what did you bring to this village?" he pours the tea in 2 cups
"I know it will not be for the charm of this village nor the location, so what was it?"

"o-okay... Just don't hurt me..." still having a worried expression, mace slowly backs towards the house and turns around.
"well, that was unexpected..." he thinks, planning a strategy to use that won't alert the weird individual that threatens to kill everyone. He knocks on the door and stands loosely, turning his back to the direction he came from and crossing arms on his chest. Gaining the landlord's trust now is the most importantnt thing, he can explain everything once he gets inside.

Whilst bringing the cups of tea to Ibi Bricket hears the knocks on the door: "you know what? Tell me the answers when I get back."
He walks towards the door and opens it: "Uhm yes, what do you want?"

"I've seen you and the two visitors going here and I got curious, they looked like scholars. I'm a scholar myself and I wanted to talk with them a bit." Mace's expression suggests something far different from what he's saying in case the stranger is listening. Determination mixed with fear in his eyes, he slowly moves one paw, hiding it behind his body and using simple water magic trick to make letters HELP appear in the air by condensing some water. Now he can only count on the wolf being smart enough to understand the situation.

Bricket looks at the word and looks at the person in front of him: "I see, you're one of them; aren't you? Guess I can't hide no more then."
He looks over the shoulder of the stranger and then behind his own back: "allright, come in. But act funny and you're gone"

Mace goes in and closes the door. He bows politely and starts explaining.
"thank you for helping... I'll be brief. My name is Mace, I'm a mage like you all. I felt the... Explosion? Or whatever that was, so I followed you. And then this guy snuck up on me and threatened me. Said he's after someone powerful... So, because I'm risking my life now... Can I get some explanation?"

Ibi heard some of the conversation held by the two men in the front door. They held their tea in one paw and walked over.
"What do you two know about the five elements?"

Bricket looks at Mace: "so you're not here for me?"
He then looks at Ibi: "Someone seems to be after you, and I don't like it."
Getting a bit more stressed out he asks "Allright Mace, how much time do we have?, he turns his head and stares at Ibi, "Escape via the backdoor, I will follow.
but if needed I can distract a little bit."

Looking at Mace with a grin, Ibi set their tea down on the table. "Mace, old friend! How are you?" Pulling him into a hug after taking their own hood off - revealing their face.

Bricket looks at Ibi
"you both know eachother?!"

"Ibi? I did not expect you here..." Mace hugs back with a smile " yeah we do... Long story. And I don't think we have time for that. The guy that threatened me said he'll destroy the building and us all if i don't bring you to him. So... We either flee and leave this house or fight him. But he has some power I'm afraid."

Ibi stood back for a moment, before walking upstairs. They woke Mara and brought her downstairs.
"Alright. Escape time. Got all your stuff Mara?" Ibi asked.
"Yeah. Wait... is that... Mace?" Mara hugged Mace tightly. "Ohhh it's so good to see you!"

"destroy the building?!", Bricket runs upstairs and grabs a bag he has packed a while ago in case something like this would happen.
He almost tumbles down the stairs with his bag, when he walks back to the Ibi and Mace a picture accidentally drops out of the bag.
"hold on, let me get it" says he immediatly and he tries to grab the sketch

Ibi looked at everyone in the room. "We need to find the Archmage of Valor. He's somewhere in this town. Do you know where he is Bricket?"

"Mara! It's good to see you too." he hugs back quickly and starts moving. "and... I'm sorry about your house... What's that? A sketch?"

"Yeah, it's a sketch: nothing important you see. Just some sketch I recieved from someone from the North." answers Bricket quickly whilst Mace picks it up.
He then looks at Ibi: "I'm not in magic and stuff, who are you talking about? Is it someone in a public function or something like that?"

Ibi looked at Bricket. "We can explain after we get out of here. Also, we can probably just use the front door since we're in a group. I've been training my whole life to keep my cousin safe and the Ae-... uhh... the magic sealed in my cousin is pretty good at protecting her too."

"not sure about that... I somehow can feel the magical energy in others. And he had a lot of it. But we can try."
(and then we'd probably have to wait for Folic, and I'd be asleep. But as you wish.)

Bricket looked with a bit of emotion around in the room: "I am gonna miss this place, allright everyone ready to go?"
He grabs his coat, map and book about the water and earth Element and then looks at Mace: "You can keep the sketch with you if you don't damage it"

"I'll try not to. What is it?" he examines the sketch briefly but decides to keep it safe in his small pouch, time will come for it. "nevermind, I'm ready."

"Let's go then. Stay close everyone." Ibi said, taking the lead.

Bricket looks at Mace: "just a sketch of the North, nothing special."
He then speaks to Ibi: "I hope that you know what you are doing", he then puts his rather warm coat on

Mace stays close to Ibi and follows them, preparing for any fight that might erupt.

Opening the door, Ibi looked around outside, cautious. Leading the others, they started to walk down the street.

Vant was leaning against the wall of the building behind him, a lazy smile gracing his otherwise blank expression. The semi cold air of the street causing him to fluff up his fur. After a few minutes, he kicked himself off the wall, deciding to see if he could find anything to quell his boredom and tiredness. His green eyes glanced around the road, lack of sleep becoming more evident the longer he tried to stay alert. He considered going to the inn, but decided against and instead just stretched his arms out and shook his head to clear it and continued trough the streets.

Bricket closed the door and said goodbye to his house, again...

'As Folic saw them he knew the fool had told them so he would improvise.' Alright I see. 'He strips off his clothing leaving him in a tunic and leggings. He ten creates a fireball big enough to burn but not kill and throws it at his feet. The explosion is heard and seen.He runs out yelling and crashes into the group burns on his arms and legs.' Help some psycho attacked me and is coming

(Don't forget that using magic will release a unique scent, and it tires you out :P )
Mara looked at the burning hyena. "Where? And why are you on fire? There are mostly water mages here aren't there?"
Ibi looked towards the fire, it didn't look like it had been thrown from very far. Being a fire master had its perks.

Bricket watched the Hyena and didn't trust him.
"Where were you attacked? This is mainly earth and few are water here my friend. None are actually fire..."

There was a man in red robes he said he was looking for a powerful mage and I'm just a simple water mage nothing special... 'Summons a ball of water in his hand.' See

Ibi sniffed, detecting Folic's scent. "Why does the fire smell like your aura if you were attacked by someone else?" The smell of burning dust emanated from their paw. "Tell me what you're really here for."

Brickets grabs for his dagger in his bag but he keeps it in there but ready to attack.
"Look buddy, it's better you're honest now"

I-I'm telling the truth... 'Throws the balls of water at Bricket and Mace making them into solid ice.' Stupid stupid stupid

Pressing a burning paw into Folic's chest, Ibi snarled. "You do not touch my friends."

As you can tell look at my body my health dosen't really matter to me... 'Grabs her wrist.' Now one of you are coming with me. 'holds a fire ball to her throat.' Come now both of you or she dies...

Ibi felt the warmth, but knew that fire magic couldn't harm them. "You think fire can hurt me? I am a direct descendant of the Archmage of Justice - fire has been part of me my whole life!" Elbowing the hyena in the stomach, Ibi began to run, leading the others away.

'throws up a hand and a wall of earth sprouts up around them. He looks at them panting.' I have enough power left to drown us all

Bricket keeps standing and speaks calmly to Folic: "as you have noticed there is water on you, and it is slowly entering your body via the skin."
He looks around: "That water is now in your skin and if someone/something would freeze it, it would hurt a lot don't you think?"
One of Brickets' hands make the gesture to freeze the water and sees the stranger having pain: "now, how about you stay here so I don't have to form a blood cloth in you?"
He then starts running towards the group hoping that no one has seen what he has done

Mara and Ibi both managed to burrow out of the earth wall, but they remained inside to wait for Bricket. There was an odd scent that Ibi smelled, but they couldn't work out what it was

Brickets runs towards them: "okay, I think I am safe. Thanks for saving me."
When he get to them: "allright, what now?"

"Let's take this guy with us, see what he wants. The Archmage can tell us who he really is." Ibi said. Mara was walking behind with Mace as Ibi lead everyone out, dragging the hyena with them.

Bricket looks at them: "Can I join? And where are you guys going to? The village is not safe anymore?"
-
"You can come along if you want, we'll need a local to help us find our way there." Ibi said. "And we need someone to keep this guy in line."

'wakes up a little and touches a hand to a burn across his lips leaving them scared in a smile.' Ughhh

"allright, just remember that this whole magic thing isn't for me", Says Bricket to her.
"But uhm, for what are we looking?"
-
Noticing that Folic was awake, Ibi sat him next to a pole. "Not what, whom. You're familiar with the four Archmages, aren't you?"

Bricket realises if Folic would speak they will realise Bricket isn't who he is, behind the back of Ibi he makes the motion that he will kill him if he would say a thing

Hehe your funny kill me... 'Looks up and smiles but acts half asleep.'

Mara looked across at Bricket, seeing his motion. A little confused, she laid a paw on his shoulder.
-
Bricket looks at Mara, 'this is a motion I learned. Nothing special, mostly is used for questioning or intimidation. You know: oldschool tactics."

"Okay... but we're not going to kill him." Mara said.
Ibi crouched, holding a hot paw to Folic's neck. "Tell me who sent you."

Bricket looks at Mara "how do you know what it means?"
He then walks away and starts reading a book

'licks his used to be lips.' You see I fight for myself no one commands me I am pretty much alone...

"Just ditch him, he will bring us in trouble", says bricket out loud whilst reading, "I know his kind: they only bring trouble"

"Well, we can either leave him and risk him pursuing us, or find out why he's doing what he's doing and put an end to it." Ibi said. "Either way, I'm not going to just leave him here."

Name: Firefly
Species: Timber Wolf
Element: Fire
Brief backstory: He came from the northern wastelands. As a pup he was infused with the gift of fire from the dark mages of the north. Given black enchanted platmail and a helmet to hide my face to withstand any physical blow and wields a sword he can infuse his magic with. Firefly is ready for any foe who stands in his way. His tattered black cape and slash marked armour is proof that he's seen many battles.
*Standing in the dark as it begins to rain - looking into an illuminated building from a distance - A bar perhaps - walks towards it*

"Ibi, trust me: that person? Pure trouble, and don't tell me I didn't warn you." says bricket.
"Also, where are we going to?"

Well there are two choices kill me or take me with you... I root for both hehe. 'He stands and brushes off his arms pus seeping out of some of the burn marks and his lips all foaming and puss so he wipes them.' ew... You got something against Hyenas? Just because most of us are dark mages dosen't mean anything.

"Well Mr Hyena, if I was you I would calm down", Bricket points at Mara and Ibis, "if it weren't for those 2 you would already be dead. No one threatens me and my house. Now stay calm and hope those 2 stick around."

Mara looked at Folic. "You did attack us..."

*looks into the window and sees some magic users arguing about somthing - stops raining*
Hmmm. none of them seem like the one i'm looking for... Oh well
*snaps fingers and a little flame appears in my hand - Lights the building on fire*
I guess, I'll be moving on.
*whistles 'for he's a jolly good fellow' and casually walks away*

Bricket realises he might expose himself too much so he sits about 15 meters away from the small group.
Once there he grabs another sketch, truth was: he didn't got these sketches, he made them the day before the whole incident.
He started softly crying by the thought what happened, but even whilst softly crying he still watches to see if no one is watching him

Well you see I have no problem really I just want to hurry up with the journey.

*Walking down the streets in the late hours - All the residents sleeping - Pulls out my sword and lights it on fire - dragging it across the pavement*
Such a pretty little town... Isn't it?
*Drags the sword across all the houses as I walk from one end of the town to the other - Lighting each house on fire one by one - continuing to whistle 'for he's a jolly good fellow'*

(um he should be pretty tired by now lighting a bunch of houses on fire in a town)

(in fact: he should be exhausted)

(Yeah... expect to pass out soon)

(Wooden houses don't take a lot of effort to ignite, but I've used tons of energy keeping my sword lit, very tiring)
*Sits down on a hill and peacefully watches the destruction under the stars - feeling overly exhausted*

"why do you keep forcing making you think of it" is bricket saying to himself.
He knows the incident happened a while ago, but he also knows that there wont be any forgiveness for him

Ibi looked at Folic. "There may yet be redemption for you. Tell us where the Archmage is and we'll let you leave with your arms intact..."
There was a cold gaze about the foxgon that was deadly serious.
Mara noticed Bricket seemed a little downcast, so she sat next to him. "What's wrong?" She felt a chill.

Bricket looks at her: "well, you know: thinking about sad times. But nothing too bad you know." Says he and starts smiling.
Hoping Mara didn't see it is bricket putting the sketch away, "you see: I already feel better"

Thinking about it, Ibi realised it could be the reason why he was burned so badly.
Mara smiled at Bricket, two of her arms curling around his shoulder. "That's good."

Bricket felt a weird sensation when Mara touched him, he puts another fake smile on, "thanks".
He gets up but let his bag stay with her because he trusted her, "what was that tingling sensation about" is he saying to himself

"It also shows me that your abilities are limited in each... There is only so much one Mage can know. For instance..." Ibi said, sending a small stream of fire onto Folic's arm, burning it. "That doesn't happen to me."

Well you see fire is not my best I learned it not to long ago but air and water I am master at so I can't drown or die from falling... 'pushes her shoulder with a breeze.' So why are you two looking for the archmage?

"None of your business." Ibi said, pushing against the breeze. "Plus, you probably already know since you were following us."

No I just wanted the powerful artifact I thought she had and well now that I know it is her... I don't know how to drain her abilites I would need a dark lord to do that. Haha you try...

But you could easily take it since you know her well enough to take it... 'lets the ball sear him letting the skin pull back and the fur burn.' And stop doing that it dosen't hurt I can't feel most things haha how do you think i did this? 'Hold out his arms and looks at his legs and face.'

"You're very scarred. I'd say your aura is corrupted." Ibi noted. "You should go see a cleanser, you could die."
Mara shuddered as Bricket stood up.

Ibi and Mara were creeped out by the psycho hyena, so they left through the gap in the earth wall. Looking around, they spotted an unconscious Mace lying on the path

"You're not powerful enough to steal it." Mara said, both of her eyes glowing Crimson. "You'll die."

Bricket looked around after hearing the voice," what the..." that's all he said before he started to go back to where he left his bag.
Once gotten back he sees that it has fallen sideways, he gets back to the group.
"Hey Ibi, I have a question for you, " he asked, "if someone touches you and it feels like a form of shock, what does that mean?"

(This looks interesting and I am willing to join, but what has gone on so far? Also, which elements are being used by which people? And is the setup simply "Name + Species + Element + Backstory", or is there more? o.o)

Folic is using Air, water and fire. The rest of us are using fire or water.
The setup is rather simple isn't it... It's fine how it is, because most traits are revealed in the Rp anyway :P)
Ibi looked back. "I don't know. You're the scholar. Go read one of your books." They were clearly annoyed by their encounter with Folic. "I know you only feel it if your aura has been awakened though, so now do you mind telling us who you really are?"
Mara was still tending to Mace, waiting for him to wake.

Mace finally blinks a couple of times and shakes his head "ouw... That was bad... What's going on? What is that thing?" he points to the firefly on Mara's shoulder.

Mara could smell it. The unique scent of someone's aura. Someone was using magic and it wasn't anyone here. Slapping down on her shoulder, she extinguished the insect that landed there, and it burned her paw. Looking around, she noticed a few more fireflies, though they were actually made of fire. Turing back, she grabbed Ibi's attention.
"We're being watched." She mouthed, pointing to the fireflies to help get her point across.

*Firefly awakens - standing over the hilltop - tattered cape waving in the wind - looking down at the black smouldering town - Takes a deep inhale*
mmm, smell that? That's the smell of 500 dead souls.
*One of the little fireflies returns and lands on the tip of my finger - firefly smiles*

*Crushes the little firefly - Starts walking while whistling 'for he's a jolly good fellow'*

Mara and Ibi had detected that smell before. They knew that someone was pursuing them, but they didn't know who.
"We're leaving. Now. You can follow, or you can stay behind and help the burning village." Ibi said, turning and preparing to find the Archmage.
Mara helped Mace to his feet, explaining what happened. "We're being followed by a few mages at the moment. Nothing serious - we usually break off within a day or two. We have learned the art of escaping stealthily..."

"okay... Lead the way, you'll catch me up later." Mace gets up. "thanks for helping"

Bricket nods to Ibi: "allright, I will find out what it means." is he saying and he follows the group.
He looks at Mace and sees that one will recover. As the group is walking Bricket starts thinking about why that shock happened
"I've actually read about that, it means someone with full power or something like that. However this only happens between 2 rather powerful people", is he mumbling to himself; he then looks at Mara hoping she doesn't know what he knows.
"Hey Ibi, I found it", is he saying whilst looking in a book, "that shock happens when someone with no power meets someone with a lot of power you get that shock".

"Well Mara has no power of her own, her aura was replaced at birth. Which is another reason you can't just 'take' it, hyena." Ibi said, turning to Folic, before turning back to Bricket. "Mind if I see the reference?"

"Sure", says Bricket whilst looking at Ibi. As he gives the book he accidentally drops it
As he picks up the book he distorts the ink to make it look like what he has said is written down there.
"you can keep it, just as you give it me back on the end of the journey" says he jokingly

Ibi looked straight at Bricket. "Water then." Their sharp eye had seen the ink moving on the paper and they had picked up a faint scent. "I know this text. I have a copy, but I never read anywhere past the part with the Archmages."

"water what?" I got this book from a friend from the swamps, "I love the scent of it."

Razuel was in a forest, sitting atop a large cliff overlooking a lake, staring out over the lake, thinking over what had happened to him recently, having woken up in the remains of an old burned cottage, with no memory of how he got there. Raz pulled his legs up onto the cliff and just curled up and thought about what and why he was there.

Ibi looked at Bricket, their paw glowing and the smell of burning dust flowing around them again. "The truth? I think you're still lying, and I don't know why." In an effort to test what power he might have, Ibi grabbed his arm with the burning paw.

Yes you can. *Firefly smiled - forcefully putting a hand on the peasant's face - burning the life force out of him - The peasant lays dead for a few moments before rising again - his eyes glowing red with fire*
Peasent: What would you have me do... My lord.
Find the Girl and bring her to me, My master wants her alive *Handing the peasant an old sword*
Peasent: It shall be done *Sprinting off deeper into the woods*
*Firefly begins to follow from a distance feeling fatigued - Whistling 'For he's a jolly good fellow'*

Bricket looks angry at Ibi: "AAARGHH, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" is he shouting.
He has a hard time keeping his power under control but bricket grabs Ibi's paw with his.
Looking straight at ibi he pushes the hand away, "aarg, what is wrong with you?" is Bricket saying with a lot of pain.
When he has brough Ibi's paw far enough from him he releases it. Bricket then falls to the ground and tries to do something about
the burned flesh

"Your aura is already... trying... to... oh gods..." Ibi saw the aura draining out of Bricket. Trying to seal it up with bandages, they muttered an incantation, a pleasant warmth radiating up Bricket's arm as it healed.

Bricket looks at Ibi: "I can tell you a secret, but I am affraid if I will you will never want to see me again."
He then looks at the others and continue: "and I also fear you will tell everyone"

"I won't. Unless it affects Mara." Ibi said.

*After sprinting endlessly for several miles - Firefly's thrall sees mara, Ibi, Bricket and the other members from across the clearing - making sure to stay out of view - He begins to build up a fireball with the dark energy that was given to him*

*He hurls a fireball at the unsuspecting group*

Bricket looked at Ibi and said silently: "I don't trust you; but I am not who I am. I didn't come here to be rich, but to be forgotten..."
He sees a fireball coming to the group and shouts: "EVERYONE! RUN!

Ibi stood up and shielded the others as they got up and hid behind cover.

Raz raised his head from his curl to see the firefly, holding out a finger to it for it to land on, "Hello, little guy."

*Firefly raises his ears - Hearing an explosion in the distance*

Bricket looked at Ibi, then at Mara and back at Ibi followed by the explosion: "ALLRIGHT, MOVE!" he shouted to everyone and he started running.
Whilst running he packed up his bag and looked behind him to see trees catching fire, "not this, please not this" is he silently saying to himself.

"Another? Really?" Mara sighed. She was the only one not tired or injured at the moment, which sucked for her.
Ibi and Mara took the others in their arms and ran, leaving the village behind.

*The evil peasant sprinted out of the woods pursuing the fleeing group - sword drawn*

Seeing the peasant, Mara drew her sword, the screams of thousands of lost souls trapped inside. She used it to block the sword and it came as a shock when the peasant's sword was neatly cleaved in two.

Bricket who was a slow runner is falling behind when he notices the battle
"Allright, if you want to do this,"Bricket gets some water out of his bottle he brought with him, "I am sorry".
He makes an icedart and launched it at the peasant with the sword fatally wounding him, bricket looks at him falling: "I made it go fast."
Knowing he is still in danger he starts running again to catch up with the group and hoping that no one saw him doing that

*The energy that was inside the peasant leaves his body and disappears into the forest - the peasant lays lifeless*

Mara looked on as she saw the ice spike spear the peasant. She looked back and saw Bricket holding a bottle of water. "Was that you?"

Bricket heard Mara, he makes the icespike melt and calmly says to Mara: "I may or may not have done that. Call me what you want but no one has seen me doing it. How can someone without magic do this?" He turns around: "how can someone do that?"

*Firefly feels the energy enter his body again*
That didn't work... If I fail this, I'm dead. Perhaps I should try a more "friendly" approach.

Raz pulled his hand back and looked at the firefly flying away, "Wolf with green eyes? What the HELL?!", Raz saw and heard the explosion in the distance, not too far from him, just a ways away near the lake, Raz then saw a fire erupt from where the explosion happened and something in him, void of his own concious will, made him get up, jump off the cliff and fly towards the fire and as he flew, sand came out off the lake and fly around him, hiding him from view, then as he reached the fire, the sand spread above the fire, shadowing the area below, then suddenly, Raz regained control of his body and the sand fell onto the fire, leaving Raz confused and holding his head trying to determine what happened.

"If you're a Mage that's a good thing. We can always use one more to help us on our journey." Mara said, smiling. She walked over and gave him a hug, wrapping her 6 arms around him. "I think waters pretty cool."

As the sand hit the fire a plume of dust arose then followed by the smoke of an extinguished flame.
Raz slowly lowered himself from the sky, kneeling and curling up, "Wh-whar the hell happened..."

Bricket sees the man in the armour: "yeah, we are allright."
"I've got to admit, the first time I see a knight in that armour here and he is immediatly here to help us; I really think that is a bit suspicious" is he questioning saying.
"Tell me then Mr Knight, what are you for here then?"

Mara had a chill, there were so many things yelling at her to get away from this mysterious man, so she did. Scrambling over to Ibi, she muttered "Hide me."

I'm investigating a massacre that happened in these lands. An entire village only a few miles from here was burned to the ground. Over 500 souls were lost... I want to find who's responsible for this crime!

Bricket looks at the hand
"Also", he continues, "why are you smelling like fire?'
"Don't you find it weird a knight who smells like fire comes straight after an exlposion?"

Looking over towards the questioning voice, Ibi saw Razuel. "Raz?" They ran over and embraced him. "Oh, it's been such a long time! How's Justice?"

*looking at Bricket from behind the helmet*
...It was from the village where I journeyed from. I probably have ash and soot all over me. It's been a long day.
Are you all ok? I'd like to help you if I can.

Raz looked at Ibi in confusion, "Wh-who are you? Who's Justice?"

Ibi looked at Raz, then saw the wound on his head. "Oh no..." They muttered. "This is bad... You've had a nasty hit on the head, buddy. I'll take care of you for the time being."

"Burned village?" Asks Bricket?
"My home village is the only village around here. And we don't have any castles, there aren't even any castles close here."
He is looking shocked: "you burned them down, why? Who gave you the mission to do that?"

Raz looked in Ibi's eyes, feeling a sense of safety with her, and then hugging her back, "P-please...", Raz then looked over at Firefly and began muttering what that firefly from earlier told him, "Wolf with green eyes... Wolf with green eyes...", his voice slowly got deeper, the stone in his chest giving off a burning heat and his eyes turning a solid red, "Beware the wolf with green eyes...", he whispered it clearly in Ibi's ear, and shortly after he passed out, his eyes returning to normal and heat diminishing from his stone, weakly clutching onto Ibi's cloak as he passed out.

He grabs a bag and shows some books: "is this what you want? Our goods?"

Ibi caught Raz, and set him down gently. They walked over to Bricket and whispered in his ear. "Check his eyes."
Mara took care of the group's three unconscious and injured companions. Having six arms worked wonders for being good at medicine.

"Yeah, you better are buddy.", is Bricket saying to him, "but where I am from we say firmly goodbye."
He stares the knight straight in the eyes taps him friendly on the shoulder: "Firmly, but friendly" is he telling him

"Wait." Ibi said, thinking of a plan. "May I see your face for a moment? It is courteous of a knight to reveal his face to those he protects."

*Firefly's heart begins to race - starts sweating under his armour*
No, you mustn't see me face. It is quite scarred, I'd rather leave my helmet on. Surely you understand... And I must be going
*Starts backing up*

"Ah, but battle scars must be respected." Ibi said, suppressing a grin. "Please, I request that you remove your helmet. If not for me, then for the lovely lady over there." They gestured to Mara, whom had turned around and waved with one of her free arms.

"Trust me buddy, your face can't be uglier than mine", is Bricket jokingly saying, "I think he has green eyes", is he also whispering to Ibi, "is that an issue?"

"It could be." Ibi whispered. "If he's a wolf then we need to watch out."
Smiling at the knight, Ibi took a step forward. "Good sir, please. Your helmet."

*Firefly begins to whistle 'for he's a jolly good fellow' - as he loosens the straps on his helmet - he gestures to take the helmet off - Instead he pulls a sword from his back and ignites it*

*Looking at Mara - muffled laughing behind the helmet*

Ibi let loose a powerful blast of fire as fast as they could, sending a wave of intense heat straight into Firefly. It was strong enough to knock a nearby tree down, but it left Ibi without energy.

Bricket grabs his water bottle and gestures to the knight if he would like to have some: "you've got to be thirsty"

Funny thing about this armour I wear... It's enchanted. Which means It's nearly indestructible, At least from anything physical... What a terribly rude thing to do.
*looks at Bricket*

*takes the helmet off - opens eyes*

"Why has it to be you?" He gives the cup to the Wolf, "I don't get it, when did you become that knight? Just grab the cup, drink it empty and go away."

Ibi coughed. "Unfortunately... that wave of heat..." They took a breath. "Was not physical... It was pure aura. That's why I'm... -pant- so out of energy..."

*After hearing Ibi, firefly feels a throbbing pain inside his armour - he fights it*

Bricket semi-dodges the fireball but gets hit in the chest lighlty wounding him but powerful enough to fall over on the ground.
"No way you just did that" is he angerly saying to Firefly.
"I hope you're not too sweaty" was said by Bricket whilst he was direct the sweat to one of Firewolfs' legs.
"Have fun walking now!" is being shouted whilst he freezes the sweat that was collected around his leg and making the leg snap of Firewolf

Bricket sees the huge fireball coming to him, in a quick reflex he tries to get away.
Suddenly the ball explodes on the location where Bricket is and only ashes remain... no one knowing what happened there

Mara saw the huge fireball and ran in front of Bricket. As it impacted her chest, a massive Crimson wave erupted from her, knocking everyone back at least two metres as the Aether was unleashed, leaving Mara on the ground, struggling for breath.
"It... protects... me..." She wheezed. "And I... protect my friends." Her whole body glowed as she loosed the Aether on Firefly, sending him flying through five trees.

*Firefly barely gets up after the dust clears - Pieces of his Armour begin to crack off - Most of his energy has been spent*

*Pointing my sword - feeling pain everywhere*

Mara was enraged. She walked over to Firefly, pulled his helmet off and punched him, square in the jaw. "I'm not going with anyone without my cousin. And if they don't trust you, I don't trust you." Her voice was cold enough to send chills down Ibi's spine (Ibi had never seen their cousin this angry before).
Ibi struggled to their feet, almost falling again, and stumbled over to Mara. Placing a paw on her shoulder, they hugged her from behind. "Calm... ssshhhh..." They said, soothingly. As much as they didn't like the wolf, Ibi was a pacifist at heart.
"You." They said, looking at Firefly. "You have no energy left. How do you think you can win?"

Raz slowly sat up, rubbing his head, hearing the commotion near him, "Ugh, feels like a boulder hit my goddamn head..."

"No. It would not be right to kill you here." Mara said, the glow fading. She leaned into Ibi for support, as she was very drained from her sudden outburst.
"We need to get you to Archmage Valor soon." Ibi said, before lowering their voice so only Mara could hear. "But we need to rest first. The village is no longer safe, so we need to find somewhere else."

Allright: Backstory time :)
Bricket now known as the rich Merchant in a small village wasn't always that merchant.
He was originally born under the name Kinaktok in the far north.
As a kid he has already proven to be good with the water element and by the age of 18 he mastered the element.
In the small community he was regarded as the new leader and he also found a girlfriend.
When he was 19 years he said his parents goodbye when they went fishing, they never returned. Members of the
community thought they had an accident but Kinaktok wouldn't believe this. Untill this present day he is still
searching how they really died. The incident however lead him to start mastering a second element: earth.
Whilst learning this element he got more and more irritated by the people of his community seeing him as an
outsider who should no be the leader. But he didn't care that much because he was going to marry his girlfriend.
A week before the marriage he started making sketches/drawings of the community, her and the few friends he
had. Sadly enough his girlfriend/fiancé was murdered by opponents of him.
Struck with sadness and anger he became extremely agressive and demanded that the killer should be punished.
Members of the community interpreted this as an attack and starting attacking him.
In selfdefense he used almost all his powers to wash all his opponents/attackers away with the 2 mastered elements.
When he calmed down he saw what he had done: he whiped the community away from the face of the earth.
With only the sketches of the place, and the only proof of the existence he ran away knowing he will be never forgiven
but also hoping that no one will find him and remember him what happened.
When roaming around he changed his name into Bricket and learned how to trade.
After living in the bigger cities he became a merchant and made a nice amount of money.
Being used to be unknown he left the city and went to a small village to buy the inn' but settle himself hoping he would
be left alone forever. Hoping that no one will know about him or his strength and that he might be the strongest watermaster

Backstory!
Ibi and Mara were both born in Vol'kanas, the land of the Archmage of Justice. Around the same age, they played together until age 5 when they were separated. Mara was taken by the four Archmages and selected to contain the Aether - a mysterious fifth element that could not be allowed to run rampant on the planet.
Ibi was awakened when they were 10, learning fire magic almost straight away. They became Justice's disciple at age 12, showing great talent and even beating adults whom had been training for years.
Mara, however, was kept in the Archmage's home. She was prone to accidentally releasing the Aether from time to time, usually around points of emotional instability. She was trained to contain her power and control it if it came out. The two cousins were reunited around Mara's 14th birthday. They trained in physical combat together, sparring every day for five years. During this time, they each developed an immense physical strength and Ibi developed an incredible ability to bend fire both physically and through Aura. Whilst normal folk can get physical burns, or those practising multiple elements, Ibi developed near immunity to fire based attacks, as proven by Justice on several occasions. They have been travelling for four months to try and awaken Mara's aura and mix it with the Aether, so that it is nearly impossible for others to exploit it. This requires seeing all four Archmages - and Valor is the last one required.

Folic's a lost cause, everyone appears distracted... I might be able to escape. I'll find another way to capture that girl.
*Firefly begins limping towards the treeline*

"Ah ah ahh... Where do you think you're going?" Ibi pinned Firefly to the nearest tree. "You're going to tell us who sent you and why they sent you."

*Firefly smiles - then spits out some blood*
You think it's that easy? I'm not telling you a thing.
*Firefly reaches behind his back for a dagger*

'Folic grabs his other arm.' I'm just helping a poor young woman now if you would please tell her?

Pushing him harder into the tree using burning paws, Ibi growled in his ear. "You tell me now, and I don't give you permanent damage."
Mara sat near Razuel, catching her breath and regaining her energy. She explained what happened in great detail, pausing when he asked questions.

*Realizing Folic grabbed one of his arms but still having one free - he slips the dagger out of the sheath and puts it up to Ibi's throat*
How about you release me and I don't give you permanent damage. You're not getting a word out of me, infact he probably sent someone to kill me so I don't talk. You're all doomed and you don't even realize it yet. you should've let me leave with the girl... You can't keep her safe forever.
*looking at Mara smiling - then back at Ibi - holding the dagger*

'searing his flesh on the other arm.' Let the dagger go.

Ibi's breath hitched as they felt the cold metal press against their throat. They snarled. "She's my cousin. She's all I have - you think I won't try my hardest to keep her safe?" Their heartbeat radiated warmth around them, aura flowing around the blade. "I think you underestimate me as a Mage, wolf. I have an immunity to fire, so all I have to do is melt this dagger." The aura pulsed with heat and, in seconds, the blade's temperature skyrocketed, nearly setting the wolf's paw on fire.
The smell of burning dust mixed with something unrecognisably foul as drops of molten metal dripped onto Ibi, only singeing their fur a little.

Name: Rayleonarde "Ray" Blackburn
Species: Raccoon
Element: Air (Mastery)
Background Story: Ray was, at a young age, caught in a vicious attack against his parents' estate, rending the young raccoon completely blind. Living in a world of darkness, Ray sought to again attain his sight, and after meeting an old Air master, Ray learned to 'see' through changes in air pressure, temperature, and vibrations in the air. He still wears the black cloth blindfold fashioned from the charred remains of his mother's dress, to both remind him to be valiant and true, but also hide the now sightless, pitch black orbs that served as his eyes.
Ray was wandering the forest, looking for a peaceful location to meditate, or sleep if the local fauna allowed, when he heard a scuffle break out, the singing of steel against leather sheathe. He moved silently to some nearby bushes, and observed the fight. Ray had no intention of meddling, but his curiosity was piqued.

Raz started to groan, his eyes flickering between normal and solid red, "Soo-aarrgghh!", Raz curled his head down and held it in his hands, "M-my head! Agh! It hurts!"

Plucking beads of molten steal off their chest and threatening to flick them at Firefly, Ibi looked back at him. "So... who sent you?"

Hmmmm I would like to know of tgis dark lord as well.... 'He smiles.' Of course he can't be that powerful if he sent someone like you.

*Looking at Ibi square in the eyes*
Like I said, your will is strong... But mine is stronger. This information you want. You're not going to get it out of me. I'm a wolf, not a weasel.
*Smiles - spits out more blood*
So... Are you going to kill the big bad wolf? I know you want to, I can feel the darkness beginning to build inside of you. It's exhilarating isn't it?

Ibi looked directly at Firefly. "You think your will is stronger?" Their aura cut off as their paw clamped around his throat. "You may be a wolf, yes... but I am part dragon. My will can be so strong that I could tear down a whole city to get one coin." They snarled, heating their paw again. "I am not feeling the darkness. I am just very good at persuasion." Their eyes gave off a mesmerising look, one that was cold, but also filled with fury. There was something else, the burning dust scent returned as their aura flowed through their eyes, giving a hypnotic illusion.
"I was taught many forms of torture and manipulation, yes. But only to use where necessary." They said, with a hauntingly calm voice. "Now... in a few moments, you will tell me who sent you."
Mara sat next to Razuel, offering help where she could. She laid a paw on his shoulder and asked "Do you remember anything?"

Raz kept his head in his hands and shook it, "No... I can'- don't remember anything,but name, and my age... and that I'm scared..."

*beginning to choke from the tight burning grasp around my throat*
I'm not going to tell you anything. You honestly think you're more powerful than me? I've burned villages, toppled castles, I've even killed hundreds of....
*For the first time Firefly felt a rush of fear - The look Ibi gave was somthing he's never seen before - His heart began to race uncontrollably - A chill was sent up his spine*
You're... You're not going to break me.

*Firefly becomes unconscious using the last of his strength to resist the gaze*

"Malric..." Ibi said, confused. "There are meant to be four... unless..." Their aura cut off completely. "We have to get to Valor... now. Get Bricket up and moving, we have to go!" Ibi slung Firefly over their shoulder, before turning and seeing a crying Mara.
"B-Bricket... died..." She said, gesturing to the pile of ashes.

Raz's head seized to hurt him and he slowly raised his head, muttering to himself, "I-I remember my memories... Oh god... I killed an innocent family, oh god... No...", Raz looked as though tears were going to fall from his eyes, watering even, but no tear came out, instead a texture went down his chest stone, looking like rain going down a window.

Mara was shocked, but she still comforted the dragon, sobbing quietly. She had liked Bricket and it was a shame to see one more friend's fatality in their journey. She held Raz in her arms, using four for holding and two for light stroking in his back to help calm him down.

Raz had overheard Mara's name and assumed that was who was comforting him, "Mara? I killed an innocent family... I-I don't like these memories! I want them gone... please... help me...", he then put his arms around her and squeezed the hug.

Mara hugged Razuel. "Ssh... it's in the past. We've all done things we didn't like, or regret. We just have to find out why it happened." She continued to comfort Raz.
Ibi laid down Firefly before slumping next to a tree. They were very tired.

*Firefly awakes - keeping his eyes closed to keep the illusion that he's still unconscious - notices there arn't any bondages on him - waits for the perfect moment to slip away and escape*

Ibi caught their breath for a few moments, watching Mara comfort Razuel. They sighed and got out a small bag. It had some dried meat in it, covered in spices and herbs. Taking a few pieces, Ibi felt rejuvenated almost immediately after consuming them. They still needed to rest properly, but for now, they'd be able to continue. They sat and waited for Raz to calm down from his memories before offering him and Mara food too.

Hmmmm I donlt like him not one bit... He acts tough... 'pokes Firefly in the side and looks at him.' Your not tough couldnlt help but feint when the pretty girl batted her eyelashes.

Ibi looked at Folic - using a similar gaze. "Would you like me to demonstrate 'batting my eyelashes'?"

Haha by all means... But these little things don't work on me haha... Hmmmmm. 'picks up some dirt and puts water onto it and starts to draw on Fireflys face.' Hehe this will do

Ibi stood up, pinning Folic to the tree. Their gaze returned to its mesmerising mix of cold and fury, with the hypnotic swirls flowing around their eyes. "Your mind is even weaker than his. So I'd suggest you keep your few wits about you..."

*Noticing that Ibi pinned Folic against the tree - leaving Firefly unguarded - He took this moment to quietly stand up and slip away into the trees*

Ha weak there is no order in here to make me weak or strong it is chaos just look into my eyes and tell me if you can control me?

Ibi had only just decided that they could when they saw, out of the corner of their eye, Firefly leaving.
"Where do you think you're going wolf? I'm not done with you yet. Your master won't take you back looking like that, you know."

*Firefly snaps his fingers sending a single firefly into the air - It flies away*
You're not taking me, scum!
*with some of Firefly's energy regained he forms a small wall of fire - blocking him from Folic and ibi - Limps deeper into the forest*

"A black fire overtook me and I killed them... a-and I enjoyed it... wh-why... why couldn't I fight it back... That little girl... her parents... I'm sorry... sorry... sorry...", Raz continued to repeat the word sorry over and over again.

Ibi left Folic and charged through the fire, tackling Firefly to the ground. "Fire doesn't hurt me."
Flipping him over and staring into his eyes, Ibi made the same chilling and hypnotic gaze.

Ibi why donlt you join me on my team and live a fun life I can tell you can get what you want when you want it a perfect trait for someone so evil. 'He walks through the fire layering a film of water over him so he isn't burnt.'

*Firefly covers his eyes*
You're a persistent one aren't you?
That cute hypnotic gaze worked once. But you're weak now, it won't work again.

'He picks up a good sized limb about as thick as his arm.' Soooo

Ibi punched Firefly in the stomach, using a little bit of fire to emphasise the pain. "Stay there." They kept him pinned.
"I am not joining your 'team', hyena. You are psycho and you have no loyalties."

(meanwhile...)
*the little firefly makes its way back to the northern wasteland - to the kingdom of Malric*

Raz's body tensed, his breathing stopped and dust rose from the ground and created a heavy dust cloud, then Raz appeared as if out of nowhere behind Firefly, holding a high powered blue flame burning Firefly's arm, he then spoke in a deep voice, his eyes a solid red, "If you value you life, get on the ground, now!", not in control of his actions entirely.
A hole where he was, beside Mara.

*Firefly continues to lay on the ground - looking up at Razuel - doesn't say a word*

Hmmm I have plenty of loyalties. 'Hits Firefly in the head with the limb knocking him out for a short period.' He will be fine you want him alive there you go. 'looks at Razuel.' So how about you get off him now?

Raz's eyes turned back to normal and he rubbed his head, "What happened?", Raz then looked down at the concussions wolf, "D-did I kill him?"

Ibi seemed shocked for a moment, but quickly regained their composure.
Mara was equally shocked, and had fallen sideways into the empty space that Razuel had left.

No I knocked him out. 'tosses down the piece of wood and looks around at everyone who seemed shocked.' Well he is alive and he will wake up but this time tie his hands and legs..

"That's not how you get him to talk..." Ibi said, somewhat annoyed. "Do you know how interrogation works?"
Mara saw Bricket's bag. She crept over to it and slung it over her shoulder.

Ray, noticing the sudden lack of combatants, stood slowly, and crept through the bushes. "H-Hello?" He kept his paws clear of his sides, showing he meant no harm.

Mara looked at Ray, checking to see if he had any weapons on him. "Hi." She said, offering one of her arms.

Not interigation torture but I can get people to talk if I need them to without torture. 'Gives her a wide smile.'

"We aren't torturing him..." Ibi said. "Seriously... you need to see a cleanser..."

Never said we were... Haha well then where can I find one of them at?

Ray graciously took hold of Mara's arm, and smiled. "Thank you, miss. Very hard to navigate in the dark. Specially with a wind like this." There was a gentle breeze making its way through the forest, barely enough to be felt on the skin.

"There are plenty of them around. We'll likely find one on the way." Ibi said. "Now, let's get out of here. We have an Archmage to find."
Mara followed wordlessly, carrying Bricket's bag.

Ray followed Mara, his paw never leaving her arm. "Who're you looking for, miss?"

So Ibi when was the last time you were cleansed??? Just a little curious being around that much power must make you power hungry?

Ibi snarled at Folic, giving a reminder not to push their buttons. "Just walk."
Mara turned to Ray. "We're searching for the Archmage of Valor."

*Firefly wakes again - head feels like it was kicked by a horse*
Ughh....Im.... Alive?
(Meanwhile...)
*the little Firefly enters malrics castle and lands next to him while he sits on his throne made from armour and skulls*
Malric: Firefly has failed me... My best fighter defeated... He's of no use to me now
*grabs the little firefly and squishes it between his fingers.

Ibi held Firefly up and half-supported, half-carried him on the journey they were now on.

Raz walked up beside Ibi, "Justice. You were asking about Justice."

"I was." Ibi said, looking at Raz. "You remembering stuff?"

"I was." Ibi said, looking at Raz. "You remembering stuff?"

"Ugh. Somethings, yeah. The last time, if I recall correctly, was Justice sending me out for errands, then I was hit by something in the back of the head, then... I woke up in the charred remains of a cottage."

*Firefly regains more consciousness - too weak to put up any kind of fight - looking at Ibi*
Where are you taking me? You should've just killed me when you had the chance, It would've been so much easier.
*Firefly starts to doze off again from the head injury*

"So someone attacked you." Ibi suggested. "That could explain why you don't remember anything. A cleanser should be able to heal you no problem. As for you..." They turned and looked forward, but it was clear they were talking to Firefly. "You have no further purpose fighting against us. If your master is who you say he is, you were doomed the moment you challenged us. Malric is the Dark sorcerer of Betrayal - never staying faithful to anyone."

"I guess so... but that still doesn't explain why I killed an innocent family.", continues to walk beside Ibi

"All in good time, my friend." Ibi said, continuing the journey.
As the group travelled, they approached a gorge with a narrow bridge. It looked rather unstable so Ibi turned around.
"Alright. One at a time, starting with Mara and ending with me. You wait until the fur before you is across then you tell us when you are. Mara, lead the way."
Mara nodded and walked across the bridge carefully, making sure not to step in any gaps.

You still insist on keeping me alive? What kind of person spares the wolf who tried to kill them? I don't know what you have planned, But I'm dead weight as far as you're concerned. Whether I live or die, that girl will go to my Master.
*Firefly tries make a flame by snapping his fingers - only sparks come out*

Ibi held Firefly. "Do you understand the concept of mercy, wolf?"

Words like mercy would get you killed where I'm from... Although... I'm glad you spared me, even if I don't deserve it... I don't know what you could possibly see in me.
*Firefly looks down*

"You're strong. And you're loyal. Both are characteristics I admire in mages." Ibi said.
Mara had crossed the bridge and signalled for the next fur to cross.
"Alright, who's able to walk on their own?"

Raz poked Ibi's shoulder and gestured to his wings, "I can fly 2 people over at a time, want me to carry you and the wolf over?"
-
"That sounds like a good idea." Ibi said. "But we'll wait until the others are across first."
Mara waited on the other end of the bridge, taking a look through a couple of Bricket's things.

Nods, "Alright, I'll wait back here with you."

Ray was still following along quietly. He yelped loudly when he stepped directly in a gap in the boards, his foot dangling into the open air. The blind raccoon looked around, and spoke somewhat loudly. "Help?"

*Somthing inside Firefly changed - He jumped over and reached to help the raccoon - taking his hand*
I got you!
*Firefly pulls the raccoon up*

Ibi watched as Firefly helped Ray. A mixture of emotions surfaced and Ibi stood and waited for the two to come back to solid ground. "Raz, fly these two over and I'll walk across."

Raz nodded then blasted off into the sky, circling around and then picking them up and flying them over and placing them beside Mara, he then flew back and landed beside Ibi, "Want me to fly you over too?"

Grinning, Ibi took off their cloak, revealing wings of their own. "No need. I'm a hybrid. I was hoping to reveal this later, but you seem tired so I'll fly across myself."

When Ray landed, he immediately drew his feet together, his knees sticking out past his elbows, and he clasped his paws in front of himself. As soon as Ray was in danger, the wind began to pick up drastically, but as soon as Ray landed and assumed his position, it began to die down.

Ibi stretched their wings, humming softly as they unfolded. Jogging towards the edge, they unfolded their wigs completely, taking on a majestic appearance as they flew across the gorge.

Raz followed behind her flying, "Y'know, of the amount of time I've known you, you've never showed me those wings. But it was definitely worth the wait."

"That's because they were never needed. All of my battles are fought on the ground." Ibi said as they landed, ignoring any stares they got as they folded their wings away and replaced the cloak around their shoulders.

Raz landed and folded his wings behind him, and then looked back at Ibi, "I honestly wish you wouldn't hide your wings, they're very beautiful."

*Firefly standing next to Raz - looks back*
Did I just save that Raccoon?... Why would I do that?
*snaps his fingers again and still only sparks come out - firefly whispers to himself*
Malric knows I failed... He'll have me killed.

Bricket wakes up and looks around
"Look at that, it worked.", He shakes the layer of dirt of him when he gets back above ground.
With almost no time to react he dug himself when the fireball of Firefly Wolf impacted, but the blast made him pass out.
He gets up from his improvised shelter and looked around
"Where is everyone? Why didn't they look for me?" When he keeps looking he realises something
"Oh god, they are gone without me and they took my stuff." Bricket starts panicking by the thought they thought
he is dead. "They're gonna find out, no no no!" The realisation of not having his bag made him panick.
Being worried he sits but then he sees their tracks
"I've got to find them and I've got to get my bag back", is he saying as Bricket gets up and starts following their tracks

Ibi felt heat rising in their cheeks when Raz complimented their wings. "I hide them because I shouldn't have them... I was not exactly a legitimate birth..." Their ears folded back.
Mara was reading through Bricket's things, but as much as she wanted to tear her eyes away from what she was seeing, she couldn't. There were sketches of various different things but two caught her attention more than the rest - a destroyed village, and a girl.
'What on earth was Bricket doing when he was younger?' She thought.

When Bricket was walking he started wondering what is so special about Mara
"Why did she give me a shock?" is he questionining himself, "the book states it can only happen from a master or someone with a lot more skill."
He stops because he notices something funny in the tracks "that's odd, why is there an extra person?"

Mara looked back over the bridge as she thought of Bricket. Wondering what he was into when he was younger, she stood up and placed the book back in his bag.
"I think we should make camp soon. It's getting dark."

*Firefly begins having a mental battle with himself - Who should I trust - Should I run away - Should I complete the mission - Should I join these mages Firefly says in his head - Light and Dark Swirling around in his mind - He limps over to a tree away from eyes view - Snaps his fingers again and a little firefly spawns*
My magic is back
*Starts repairing his extremely damaged armour and helmet - deciding what his next move should be*

Ibi looked at Firefly. They noticed he was repairing his armour, so they walked over and lay a paw on his shoulder. "Want some help?" They asked.

My Armour is so damaged I'm not sure It'll be the same... Never thought it would break, never has... That Aether is a powerful weapon. I see why my Master wanted me to take Mara. Almost killed me with little effort... And I know she was only using a fraction of her true power.
*Looks over my shoulder at mara - back at the armour, slowly welding the broken pieces together*

Ibi called forth their fire magic and helped repair the armour. "It's pretty robust - normally the armour gets shattered and obliterated. What's it made out of?"

Bricket looks up
"Hmmm, I need to set up a camp, but chances are their tracks will disappear."
He decides to keep on walking untill he sees in the distance a bridge
"It's getting late, tomorowmorning I will cross it", says Bricket to himself.

This armour is made from pure Star Steel, once belonged to the Winter king of the North who died centuries ago. My master gave me this armour as a symbol of my loyalty. Using science and black magic he enchanted it with indestructible properties, turning the armour Dark. It was once a beautiful Sterling Silver when it belonged to the old king.
*Firefly Chuckles - having a happy thought for the first time*

As the group stopped, Ray again took his meditating position, withdrawing several smooth stones from his satchel. These stones each had distinct markings in various colors. Ray's mind wandered back to when he was but a student, learning how to use the very air he breathed to again see. The old magi held a belief that through inner peace and tranquility of the self, one could use all magics. For years Ray used the meditation stones to clear his mind, but his past prevented him from attaining true tranquility.

Bricket walked a bit back from the bridge untill he came back to some trees.
He made a small tent by using the earth element to place 2 rock slabs in a ^-shape, he then used his coat as a blanker
"This has been a while, but I remember sleeping like this", mumbles to himself with a grin on his face

Ibi grinned and moved around to repair the back plate. "Is it just me or is the armour a little lighter now?" Watching the areas that they were repairing, Ibi had noticed the darkness fading a little.

Bricket can't sleep even tho he feels tired
"I am going to get him, " is he telling to himself, "I am going to get that "knight".
"I AM GOING TO MAKE HIM PAY!", he slams on the ground whilst shouting making the earth tremble a bit.
"Don't waste your energy by causing miniature earth-quackes, focus on your revenge, " tells he himself to calm him down
Bricket might be tired, but he was ready to make the wolf pay for what he has done

Yeah... I guess it is getting lighter. I wonder what this means.
*Continues to repair the armour - slowly becoming lighter and lighter - looking up at Ibi again - cracks a small smile*
*Firefly then remembers what he did to bricket - his smile disappears - His armour becomes a little darker again*
Nothing will change who I am. Your friend is gone because of me.

Ibi was fascinated by the change in colour that the armour had. "It seems to be linked to you... Its darkness reflects your own thoughts."
They laid a hand on the wolf's shoulder. "All can be forgiven, wolf, you have honest remorse for what you did. I can see that." They embraced him and hummed softly. "Mara and I have lost plenty of friends before. Bricket was not the first and he won't be the last. That, I can promise you."
Mara sat down next to Ray, being cautious so as not to startle him. Of course, she sat on a stick and it snapped, emitting a harsh <crack> as it broke.

Because he can't sleep he is using his powers to provide him what he needed in his plot to take revenge.
"I suspect the wolf of having taken those 2 prisoner, but I won't take him as one" is Bricket saying as he is draining a tree of water
and conserves the drained water in several bottles: "I hope he is thirsty" and then he takes down the tree which caused a lot of noise.
"Maybe I should be a bit more silent: first an mini-earthquacke and now falling trees? Focus buddy, focus."

Raz walked up to Ibi and tapped their shoulder, "Ibi? About earlier... I'd like to add something onto what you said. You shouldn't need to hide them, I mean, for the longest time, I hid the stone in my chest because a dragon with one of these is considered weak and inferior, and you know what I did? Mara looked over the gorge again, hearing a loud crash as a tree fell. She tried to see what was going on, but it was too far into the forest on the other side.
Ibi's face lit up a bright red. They hadn't heard such compliments before and they were delighted to hear them. "Thanks." Was all they could say without sounding silly. "He never commented on my wings. But he did try to get me fighting in the air a few times."

'Folic stumbled out of the forest behind Ibi and looked up at her.' Whew I got lost haha

Ibi looked at Folic. "How could you get lost? We crossed a bridge."

I think idk I just wandered off and I guess something hapoened it is weird.

"Now how am I going to do this?" is Bricket telling himself whilst looking at the tree he chopped down.
Not really knowing how to handle it he started breaking of branches to collect them as firewood.
"Do I still got it?", were his words as he was trying to get a campfire going with the collected wood.
It looks like he still got it because Bricket succeeded in getting a campfire

Raz chuckled at his bright red her face was, "How about I teach you to fight in the air sometime. I'm sure it would be fun.", Raz then waited for a response from her.

"I learned a bit, but I won't ever say no to lessons." Ibi said. They loved to learn new things about magic and combat, because it was a new technique to protect Mara.
Said spider was looking across the gorge, towards a soft glow. "Guys... there's someone following us."

Bricket sits next to the fire and tries to relax a bit
"What a day," he sighs, "you know I was almost back to you", his eyes fill with tears.
as he said that he felt in his coat for the sketch of her but he couldn't find it
"No, please no", the realisation he lost that too makes him shive

"Alright, then it's a date! Just tell me when you're ready and I'll teach you what I know.", Raz then gripped his chest and bent down for a second, "What a terrible feeling...:

Ibi looked at Raz, concern washing over their face. "You ok bud?" They asked.
Mara wanted to cross over the bridge again, but decided against it. Instead, she went over to the others. "Guys, there's someone over there. Can one of you send a ball of fire into the sky?"
Ibi was reluctant, but Mara could usually tell when it was someone bad. They shot the small fireball directly up and it exploded about fifty metres above the tree line.

Bricket looked up and saw the fireball explode above him
"What the ?", he immediatly made the fire go out and hided under the tree.
"Who would attack me?"
He started thinking and made the worst realisation: "The wolf is using them against me, that's it: tomorow the wolf goes down"

Raz stood back up, "Yeah, I'm fine, it's just my stone here. The reason why I'm considered inferior is because I can sense other people's distress, and I don't know who it is that is feeling distressed, I mean, the wolf here is fighting his demons, but I'm sensing genuine sadness and it's from the heart.", Raz put a hand on his chin, "Is anyone here, besides the wolf, feeling distressed?"

Ibi and Mara both shook their heads. "That's quite an ability you have... I'd imagine it's a burden though..." Ibi said.

"It is, but I've learned to deal with it... but it still hurts since I can feel their pain... metaphorically that is, I can't actually feel their physical pain, just the emotions of it."

Nishjin is almost knocked over by the power of Aura in this town.
He'd traveled for years and never felt this amount of it...
But there was another scent of Aura, one he'd never picked up before.
Almost a mixture of every scent, but it couldn't be.
He walks to a tavern and gets a room.
*There's something with this town. I'll find out, then get going*

Bricket wakes up again and looks around
"Hmm, must have slept pretty short", he then stretches his legs and sits back down
He tries to remember something from the incident but he keeps thinking of his past
"why did I have to ruin it? Why did I had to?" he feels the pain coming back up but quickly got replaced by anger
"At least I can use what I can do for the good cause." says Bricket with a smirk

Nishjin walks down the street, seeing the passerby, well, pass by.
He feels a shudder from his pack, and takes out his nunchucks.
"Already, bud? Okay, here you go."
Looking around to make sure nobody sees, Nishjin creates a small wind around him and the nunchucks, making them glow and float in the air.
A strong scent fills the air, and Nishjin's Aura is slightly diminished.
Again looking around, Nishjin sees a curtain of someone's house closing. If someone saw that, they may be dangerous...

Mara looked back as the sun rose, wondering if the stranger was still there. She squinted and saw someone, but they were too far to get any good detail.

*Firefly finished repairing his armour as best as he could - noticing how much lighter the colour is - some parts begging to even shine - Firefly notices the figure in the far distance - His eyes widen knowing that Malric will be sending an agent to kill me - that figure could be him*
We should leave now! *Firefly barks* I'm not staying here!

Bricket woke up as the sun was rising.
"Goodmorning to myself", he slowly got up and saw the group leaving
"Where would they go to?' asks Bricket to himself, "why are they heading north-like?"
After cleaning the dirt of his coat he puts it on and starts walking to the bridge from earlier to cross it.
"Better keep my distance, or else they might notice me"

Nishjin approaches the house whose window had closed and knocks.
"Hello? Is anyone there?"
Suddenly, he faintly smells that scent from before. Is this house different from the others?

Ibi and Mara stood up, stretching. They both began walking along a faint path in the woods.

The house gives no response, and Nishjin gets nervous...
"Maybe a little walk in the woods will clear my mind. I need to think of a plan if I've been seen."
He pads over to a heavily used path in the woods.
"This is nice, but I take the path less traveled!"
Chuckling at the joke, he goes down a path which obviously wasn't used very often.

*Filled with extreme paranoia - Firefly snaps his fingers and spawns a little firefly when nobody was looking - Whispers to it*

Bricket saw people strolling away, he was patiently waiting untill everyone was gone before he would start following them.
He then looked at the bridge that was rather unstable to cross
"did they cross that?!"

Again, Nishjin is hit by that scent. He starts walking a bit faster, wondering what it could be.
Suddenly, he crashes into a figure. "Oh! Sorry!" Helping them up, he asks, "What's your name? I'm Nishjin."

Mara had been the one Nish walked into. She fell on her back and hissed as her elbow hit a rock. Clutching it, she reached out with a free arm and accepted the offered paw:
"I'm Mara... watch where you're going!"
Ibi held a small fire in their paws, using their scent to blanket the other ones.

*The little Firefly lands on Brickets shoulder - Firefly is instantly filled with shock and collapses to the ground*

"Woah! That's a uh... Strong fire scent you have there."
Nish felt like there was something she was hiding, but he'd investigate later.
"Anyways, sorry!"
He walked off into the forest, not waiting for a response.

Bricket notices the firefly flying next to him.
He whispers to it "I am coming for you wolf, you can't hide, you never will. Next time you make sure to finish the job because I will."
The firefly starts flying away and Bricket starts walking to the bridge

Noticing the wolf's sudden change in demeanour, Ibi extinguished the flame. "What's wrong?"

*Firefly looked at Ibi - Eyes full of terror*
He's coming for me, I can't stay! I gotta get out of here! I gotta leave!
*Firefly starts running*

"What? Oh, nothing. I, uh, need to check up on someone"
Thinking, 'I need to observe this spider, something isn't right. But I can't while she's following me... Wait, she extinguished her flame!'
"Do you smell that, Mara? What do you master in, exactly?"

Mara looked at Nish. "It's complicated." She hid her runic tattoo from view.
Ibi ran after Firefly. "Hang on, who's coming? Wait!"

"Hmmm, well, sorry about running into you. I'll be off."
Trying to look as if he's leaving, Nishjin loops around, hoping to be able to follow Mara.
'Complicated, huh? I like long stories, but you were hiding something. There was some tattoo I saw that you hid when you saw me... I'll find out what it is.'

Raz hadn't slept all night, still thinking of what he had done to that family, his sleep deprivation clearly shown on his face, he then saw Mara get bumped into and had ran over to her and almost fell whilst doing so, showing up beside her as though he had teleported, "Are you *yawns* okay?...", he then watched Nish run away, "Who was that, Mara?"

Mara looked at Raz, concerned. "I think I should be asking you that question. Did you sleep at all last night?"

Nishjin feels a shudder, and checks his pack.
"What's up, bu-"
The chucks weren't there.
"Oh no! I must've dropped them when I ran into her!" I have to get them back before she finds them!"
He starts to run back, hoping it wasn't too late.

*Firefly stops running - looks at Ibi*
I've done terrible things. No matter what I do, I'm still condemned, I deserve this. My clock's been ticking down and I'm about to run out of time. You've been such a good friend to me. But you can't save me...
*Firefly's armour becomes a little brighter - Firefly cracks a small smile and sheds a tear*

Raz tried to fake his sleep deprivity, "Oh course I *tries to hold in a yawn* did.", Raz then sees an object on the ground next to a bush, "What's this?", picks up the chucks, "Huh... neato.", puts them in his jacket pocket, and then looks back to Mara, "I got some *yawns* sleep, don't worry."

Bricket starts crossing the bridge after seeing the group walking away
"Here goes nothing", is he whispering whilst crossing the bridge.
"CRAP!", shouts Bricket when a piece of wood cracks through and he almost falls down
"Oh buddy bud, you wolf are going to pay", tells he himself to calm down and cross the bridge safely.

"I somewhat doubt that..." Mara said. "You're very tired..."
Ibi held Firefly close. "Everyone can be saved. You just have to confront the danger and show it who's boss. I've done some pretty nasty things, but I promise you that you won't die today."

Raz lets out a large yawn, "Ahhh... Alright, I didn't get any sleep last night..."

Nishjin sees that Mara hasn't noticed the chucks.
"Hey! I dropped these, sorry!"
He picks up the chucks and puts them in the pack, covering the engravings on them.
Noticing the other furson standing there, he said, "Oh, hi. I'm Nishjin, who are you?"
'Maybe I can find out more information from them...'

"That's a stick... Raz found your chucks back there." Mara said, gesturing to another tree.

Getting a little bit more scared by every step he makes on the bridge Bricket finally spots the end of the bridge.
'Come on buddy, you're almost there. Just a few more meters." As he is walking he feels the bridge waving from one side to the other.
As he reached the other side falls on the ground with a sigh of relief
"Never again", says he with a smile whilst laying on the ground

"Huh?"
He checks his pack, and indeed, there was a simple stick in it.
He feels a shudder, as if the Living Wood is laughing at him.
'Very funny.'
"Oh, thanks! Don't know what I'd do without you..."
Nish awkwardly stands there, wondering if they'll bring up the engravings on the nunchucks.
'Wait a second, they almost look like Mara's tattoo.'
"Hey, what's up with that tattoo you have?"

"Oh.", Raz took out the chucks and examined them, the chuck's engravings lighting up slightly in his grasp, "Hm, quite the weird pair of chucks you have, especially since chucks around here don't have engravings besides names...", Raz put them back in his pocket, "I'd like to know where you got them, Nishjin, and if you try to attack me or my friend here to take them back, heh, then you won't have a nice", his voice lowers slightly, "experience with me.", yawns.

"Umm... what tattoo?" Mara said, hiding her arm from view. "I don't have a tattoo..."

'Damn. I can't fight him without the chucks... I have to explain it'
Nishjin sighs and starts explaining, "Those are... names of the people who owned the chucks before me. On the other handle is a bunch of runes I can't figure out. Could I have them back now?"
'They better not ask anymore, or I'll have to use your Aura, bud. Try getting out yourself...'
Willing the chucks to come back to him, he sees one handle start to float up in Raz's hand.
'You can do it, cmon.'

Seeing Raz glance over while Mara talked, Nishjin lunges forward, steals the chucks back, and runs back through the forest.
'That was too close... Oh no.'
His name is engraved on the chucks' left handle.
'Oh god.'

He gets up, but before walking again Bricket looks for a last time at the gorge remembering when he walked here
'the bridge sure was in better shape', he thinks 'and the reason was also diffrent'
His heads turns to his right looking at the path where the group walked, 'allright, maybe not that different'.

*Looking at Ibi - face filled with mixed emotions*
There's somthing you must know... Bricket... is alive. He survived when I... I... *looks away*... And he's coming to kill me.
*Firefly looks up at the clouds*
But you're right about one thing... I will confront him, I will give him his revenge.

'Oh god, I need help'
Nishjin runs into town, back to the tavern, unaware of the fact that he is being followed.
'Oh no, oh no, oh no. Please don't...'
He sees the engraving lighten slightly.
Not thinking, he says out loud, "Thank you, I promise I won't lose you again. Just please don't."

He starts walking and spots the group from a distance
'so there are some new people, probably his companions.'
Bricket tries looking for the wolf 'but where is he?'
Using a bit of his powers Bricket lets the humidity increase so people will get the impression it is going to rain
'if the wolf is smart he is going to look for shelter at the trees, exactly what I want him to do'

As he's walking out of the tavern, he smells someone using water powers, and spots a wolf.
Jogging over to him, Nishjin sees that the wolf has some fox-like characteristics.
"Hi there, I see you're using water. I've been wanting to start with water a bit, but I've mostly just been using air. Would you help me learn some?"
As he feels an approving shudder, he thinks, 'I know you want me to learn some of them all, well here's a master. Out of all the towns we've been in, none have had this many magic users. We might've been able to ask that Mara person, but she got scared off.'
"Anyways, I'm Nishjin. What's your name?"

Raz got knocked on his butt and his jacket pocket was torn, Raz tried to run after him but stopped merely meters away from where he got up, being exhausted from sleep deprivation, he then walked back to Mara and fell on her shoulder, half awake, "I lied about getting sleep."

Bricket look up to Nishjin: "oh hey, I am Bricket"
When he is done using water powers he talks again to the friendly stranger "wait, you've seen Mara?"
Looking a bit worried: "how is she? How is Ibi? Was there a wolf with them?"

(Pfft, I just ran out of the forest, the tavern was in the middle of nowhere. xP)
"Oh, yeah, she was that way," Nishjin points toward where he just came from.
"I only saw her and somefur named Raz, or that's what she called him. Why? Is there something wrong?" Nishjin asks innocently,
but he's thinking, 'I knew there was something up with those two. If this Bricket fellow chases them, I'll follow.'

Bricket looking friendly at Nishjin "Well, she is a good friend of mine and I was eager to meet her."
Then he started looking sad: "also I am not a master, I can't teach you anything; you see: I am just me."
"I need to go now, okay?", he looks dead serious at the other lad "Trust me, you better don't follow me"

Nishjin puts on an innocent act, "Follow you? Nah, if there's nothing to learn, I'll get going."
Walking away, he looks behind himself to see if Bricket is going the other way.

"Allright buddy, have a safe trip" says Bricket whilst smiling at Nishjin.
'I don't need any extra spectators'
Bricket walks towards the direction Nishjin gave him but also being cautious to not be spotted
'Where are you wolf boy? I thi...' Suddenly bricket sees the wolf and Ibi standing together
'Aha, there you are!' Bricket hides behind a rock and waits until Firefly is isolated before he can attack

Looking back, Nishjin sees that Bricket went the other direction.
'Alright, let's see what happens. That guy makes me edgy.'
Using wind to blow his scent away from Bricket and whoever he's going to meet, Nishjin creeps toward him.

Whilst sitting behind the rock Bricket prepares several ice darts from the water he collected
'allright buddy, I hope you enjoy a bit of snow', he laughs by that thought.
Suddenly he realised people could smell his scent when using his powers
'let them smell me, let them know I am here', thinks Bricket whilst making more darts

Nishjin hides behind a rock.
'Woah! That guy had a pretty mean look on his face. Oh, no! He's making ice darts now!'
Looking around, Nishjin was confused.
'Is he the bad guy here? Or should I just let this play out?'
He decides to watch, hoping that nothing serious happens.

Bricket realised his scent becomes stronger and stronger
'smells like home, well smelled like' was he thinking when smelling the scent
'Time for a break so the scent can settle down'
He started looking around and observing the enviroment so he knows what and where to attack

Seeing Bricket glance around, Nishjin hides behind a rock.
Just to be safe, he slightly increases the wind.
'It's fine, there's no way he saw me'
(I might be gone for a bit, gonna go eat.)

'another breeze', Bricket noticed there are some breezes now and then without any clear indication from where they come
'come on, Ibi, walk away; walk to safety'
Bricket makes a dagger of ice and puts it on his back covered by his coat

Ibi sniffed, a familiar scent wafting into their nose. "He's close. We need to conceal you." They said to Firefly.
Mara looked at Ibi. "Who's close?"
"Bricket. Firefly's worried that he's going to attack us. We're going to make sure that no one gets hurt." Ibi said, draping their cloak over Firefly.

'Ibi, No don't!' Bricket couldn't believe his eyes
'what is he forcing you to do?'

'Hmm, they're leaving. I wonder if they sensed him... I have to follow them, to get answers.'
Nishjin creeps over slowly to Ibi and Firefly, forgetting to keep up the wind.
"Hey, is something wrong?"

Bricket is slowly losing his patience and feels back-stabbed by Ibi and Mara
'why are they helping them? Why would they betray me?'
He then spots Mara wearing his bag and he could see she looked in it
'Oh no, they know...'

Raz walks along with them and he falls to the ground this time, gripping his chest again, "Holy, ugh... that hurts."

*Firefly knows Bricket is nearby - spawns a couple dozen Fireflies to see everything - Concealed by the cloak until he figures out his next move - conflicted by light and dark - whispers to himself*

"Alright. We're staying put until Raz gets better and Bricket comes out to talk." Ibi said. "We can't keep going like this."
Mara felt a chill and looked around, seeing a grey smudge behind the nearby trees. She crept over to investigate, much to the others' protests. She gasped when she saw Bricket, and the state he was in.

Bricket notices the fireflies and whispers to the ones who are nearby him
"You know I am here, go ahead and face it or run; I don't care because we both know how it's going to end"
He sees Firefly walking closer and closer to him, he is ready to attack

Nishjin creeps up to Firefly and Ibi, and says, "Hey guys, a guy named Bricket is over there, I may have told him where you are by accident..."
He looks around, making sure Bricket isn't nearby.
"He was making ice daggers, I think he's trying to kill you!"
"What happened between you guys, anyways?"

Mara crouched and whispered. "Bricket..."
Ibi's ears drooped. "He probably thinks we're against him... I need to protect Firefly so that Bricket doesn't make a huge mistake."

"Mistake? What even happened?"
Nishjin is really confused at this point.
'What is up with these guys?'

I'm sorry Ibi...
*Firefly drops the cloak - His armour is a shining sterling silver - the blinding sunlight reflects off the chrome breastplate*
No more hiding... You want me Bricket? I'll face you like a real Wolf
*Firefly pulls out his sword and ignites it fully - his cape blowing in the wind*

Seeing Firefly, Nishjin starts to back away.
'These guys are crazy!'
He runs to a safe distance, and watches the scene unfold.

Bricket saw his oppertunity and jumped from behind the rock and started running towards Firefly
He jumped and knocked firefly down, he quickly grabs a bottle of water and pours it in the openings of the Wolfs' helmet
"ARE YOU THIRSTY? BECAUSE I HOPE YOU ARE!" shouts Bricket to him as he starts kicking Firefly's armor

'Holy crap! Bricket is insane! I have to help!'
Nishjin gets his chucks out of his pack.
'I have to wait until the right moment...'

Raz pushes himself up to a tree and sits up against it, "**censor**' hell, ugh...", Raz struggled to get up and dropped his hands and embers started to swirl around the area as he walked towards Bricket and Firefly, his voice going to an almost demonic tone, "If you two don't stop, then I will make you!"

*Firefly slashes at Bricket with his fire sword - Then starts evaporating all the water poured - clouds of steam everywhere - kicks bricket off*
You didn't really think it'd be that easy? My armour is as solid as a diamond!
*Stares down Bricket through his silver helmet - both arms are on fire with magic*

Bricket launches ice darts at him and also cools the steam down to haze
"Well, I fight pretty good for a dead person, don't I?"

Raz then walks into between the two, lifts his arms and puts them down quickly, shoving them into the ground down to shoulder height, "I said stop!", and as he did so, he fell down to his knees and began to breath heavily

Ibi ignited their palms, running at Bricket and tackling him.
Mara cried out, trying to distract Bricket.

Bricket makes enough space to let his arms move freely so Razuel wouldn't notice.
"What is it Wolf? A wet face and sweating? You must be hot of all this action, let me fix it!" says he whilst he sending all the water around the neck of Firefly
"Should I snap it?", he freezes the water and is slowly chocking firefly, "what is it? Am I taking your breath away?"
Getting cought in his anger he shouts: "what did you say to me? NOW DIE?!'"
He then looks at Mara who is crying, the distraction just stops Bricket from killing Firefly

Holds a hand out to Bricket and slowly closes his hand, making the earth around him slowly constrict him

*Firefly starts choking under his helmet - He drops his sword and collapses to one knee - His arms holding his neck*

*Firefly tries to say unable to breath*

Nishjin starts twirling his nunchucks at a blinding speed.
'Time to earn the Aura I give you, bud...'
A small tornado starts forming, lifting everyone off the ground slightly.
"NOW WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!" He shouts over the wind.

Bricket getting in his narrowed position shouted at Razuel
"GO Ahead, crush me! But I am taking someone with me".
He looks at Firefly collapsing, he starts to smile to see his revenge working

Nishjin intensifies the wind, lifting everyone higher.
'Gah, I'm gonna be out of commission for a day or two...'
"I SAID, WHAT'S GOING ON?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING, BRICKET?!"

Raz stops trying to crush Bricket and simply sends 3 rock spikes into his arm, making it completely immobile, "I will never kill a friend... but I will hurt if need be! Let go, now, and you'll still be conscious!", Raz kept himself to the ground with the earth beneath him. Raz's eyes had turned to a firey solid red.

"DON'T TAKE THIS ONE AWAY FROM ME NISHJIN, NOT NOW, NOT TODAY!"
Bricket looks at Firefly, whilst laughing he recieves flash-backs from what he did years ago
'You've got to stop now'...'but I'm winning'; He knows he only has to push a little bit further and he would snap Wolfs' neck
but for some reason, partially thanks to his memories, he seems to be unable to do so.

*Firefly goes unconscious from lack of breathing*

"BRICKET! YOU HAVE TO STOP!"
Nishjin starts to falter, too much Aura being drained.
'Oh, god. I can't... keep... going like this.'
Nishjin feints, the tornado disappearing.

"COME ON RAZ, LET ME FINISH IT QUICK" shouts Bricket
"LOOK AT HIM, HE IS SLOWLY CHOKING, I CAN END IT QUICK!"
Bricket tries to get out of his situation but fighting against Raz's powers and trying to keep a choke-hold on Firefly is getting difficult

Mara ran up and hugged Bricket, glad he was alive.
Ibi roared, a pillar of fire billowing out of their muzzle. The volume was enough to knock back several trees, but it left Ibi unconscious in the new clearing.

Bricket looks at Mara
"please don't, don't do this to me."
slowly he loosing the grip on Firefly's neck and slowly stops choking him
"Please let me finish it, just let me do it"

"No, Bricket.", Raz sends earth up and around Bricket's mouth and nose, "Sleep~!", then sends a rock into the vortex and uses the current to swing it around and knock out Bricket, but he moved the earth to move Mara out of the way so she didn't get hit.

Bricket tries to stop razuel by sending a dart to him but before he passes out he says
"No, please n-no...."
The tension on Firefly's neck goes away and the ice changes into water

'Aw, crap. My head...'
Nishjin looks around, most of the fighting looking like it was ending.
'Why are these guys so hostile?'
Not sticking around to find out, he creeps away from the group, hoping to not be noticed.

Raises Firefly out of the ground and the rock finally swings around and hits Bricket square in the head, knocking him out, and as Raz passes out he says something, "Night... night... Bricket..."

Mara had darted in the way of the rock as Raz swung it it Bricket. She held her arms up and a dark wave pulsed as it impacted her. The rock disintegrated and Mara was on the ground, but she was relieved that she had saved Bricket from too much damage.

Raz passed out and his grip on the ground falters and he slowly starts to get picked up by the fortress

'Holy crap! What the hell was that?!'
Nishjin was now even more suspicious of this Mara furson. He looks at his nunchucks, wondering.
'What are those runes, and why are they glowing?'
The nunchucks are buzzing like crazy, as if they were just infused with a week's worth of Aura.
'Who is she?'

Bricket started to wake-up but still being partially blacked out by the blasts from the rocks on his head
"what happened? Why am I stuck here?"

*Firefly's eyes open - feeling weak and dizzy*
-
Nishjin eyes the crowd, seeing everyone shaken up, but alive.
"Is everyone okay? Bricket, the hell were you thinking? IF I HAD KNOWN YOU'D DO THAT I WOULDN'T HAVE TOLD YOU WHERE THEY WERE!"

Bricket whispers to Firefly
"Wakey wakey buddy, wait untill I can move..."
His head feels like it is splitting in 2
"Why does my head hurt that much? What happened again? Why am I stuck?"

As the vortex died down, Raz hadn't been picked up and his body slid to a stop and his head hit Bricket's chest, and his eyes slowly opened and as he sat up, he looked around and saw Mara on the ground and he crawled to her and supported her up and looked at her, "Mara? Mara, I'm sorry... I lost control again, I couldn't help it or stop it...", he then held her close, hugging her.

Bricket looks at Razuel
"Do you got a stone? Now do you?'
The wolf starts thinking and says to Razuel
"I've read about it: some who can feel others emotions. Now if you can do that, tell me: what do you feel with me?"

Ibi sat up slowly, surveying the scene. They crawled over to Firefly and checked if he was ok.
Mara rolled over and dragged herself to Bricket. "Please... don't hurt him. He's with us now..." She begged.

Bricket feeling sick says calmly to Mara
"He tried to kill me, and I am here to save you... to save everyone from being held hostage by him..."
Not knowing who to believe anymore Bricket asks Mara "why did you have to betray me and support him? Wasn't I dead enough?"

'These guys... Are so next level. Feeling other's emotions? Yea, *Beep* this crap, I'm out'
Nishjin starts to crawl away, but his nunchucks start buzzing painfully, almost as if it was trying to fly away.
"Uh, Mara? These runes on my chucks are glowing, and they look a lot like yours! Any idea why?!"

Raz looked back at Bricket and spoke to him with a sad voice, "Anger, Immense sadness, and self doubt... and I could feel it all... you caused me to go berserk... and now I hurt Mara...", he continued to hug her, "I'm sorry Mara..."

"Good Razuel, tell me: what do you feel more?"
Bricket gets tears in his eyes and keeps asking: "can you feel them screaming in my mind? Can you feel them begging?'

*looks up at Ibi*
This is all because of me... I did this
*Firefly then passes out from exhaustion and stress*

Mara looked up at Nish. "What are your nunchucks infused with?" Exhausted, she held Raz.
Ibi slumped over Firefly.

Raz began to scream, "Yes, I can! Stop it!! I-It hurts!!! AHHHH!!!"
-
"Oh, uh. They're actually infused with pure Aura. They're made from Living Wood, which can hold its own Aura, but can't regenerate it."
Nishjin starts to connect the dots.
"Wait, was that blast PURE AURA and you are still standing?!"

"Good," Nods Bricket to Razuel, "Remember I've got to live with this everyday"
The sadness in Bricket is slowly getting replaced by anger, "I was finally able to deal with it untill someone in armor showed up'"
He slowly starts boiling from anger: "tell me you feel this too Razuel, you've got to. I know you won't hurt him but at least know how I feel about him"

Taking a deep breath, Mara sat up. "Sort of...These runes seal the Aether inside me, but it gets out occasionally."
-
Raz quickly turned around and grabbed Bricket's muzzle, and a black flame oozed out of his own muzzle, "There is one thing that I can do too that many other dragons like me can't do. And that is, redirect the emotions back into from where they came and the host's own, so I'm going to show you some of my own pain.", Raz pulled Bricket closer to him, "And see how you can deal with it!", the black fire oozed around Bricket and Raz stared into his eyes, showing his terrible past to Bricket.

With huge eyes, Nishjin almost feints again.
"The... Aether?! I've traveled to hundreds of places, but the only place I've heard that word was by the man who gave me these..."
Holding up the chucks, Nishjin continues, "He told me that there was a special power that propelled these, mentioning the Aether, but I never thought he could be right. But, the Aether in a person?! That's... unique."

Bricket started to smile when recieving Razuel his emotions
"Oh yes, the pain is truly there." Bricket eyes slowly turn completely white, "trust me buddy, have you ever killed everyone you love?"

Mara watched as Raz started to direct his emotions onto Bricket, but she pushed him back. "You stop that now. He's upset, and we just need to let him cool off. You know as well as anyone that my past hurts the most."

Raz showed scenes of children trying to pull his wings off by force, the death of his parents infront of him, being held back by a normal dragon to make him watch, and his own attempted suicide, "You see, Bricket? I've had it worse. Worse then any child should've had. I suffered 3 years of starvation, 10 months of torture, and witnessed my own parents death, unable to help them...", Raz then let go of Bricket and sat back looking at him with the black fire still oozing out, and then looked at Mara, "I won't put you through the same experience, Mara... unless you sk to see specific ones."

Bricket looked back at him
"Yes, you've had a bad time... so did I, you might be capable of feeling it but no one will ever understand it."
He then looks at Mara, "so, what do you know of me now?"

A tear fell from Mara's eye. "You two know nothing of pain..."

Raz got up and sat on the edge of the gorge, crying and rocking back and forth

Bricket laughs
"Do you think I want to find out? Telling other they can't be sad or they don't have enough pain is like telling someone who is happy to not be happy because somene else is way more happier..."
His eyes turn back to their normal state
"I know you've looked in my bag, so what do you know about me?"

Nishjin sees the intense pain in Mara's eyes, but doesn't forget what she was telling him.
'That man told me that the Aether was an evil, but could be used for good. But if it's directly in her, will it overtake her?'
He gasps slightly as he hears what she says.
"Pain? What happened?"
'Could it have been the Aether?'

"I saw your sketches, and that's about it." Mara said. "But you still have no idea what I went through... Try a solid year of physical agony while my own body fought against itself."

Bricket looks at Mara, right in her eyes
"I am sorry for you, what happened then."
He looks at his bags: "those sketches? I've never recieved them from someone from the North, I made them"
-
"I was taken when I was young, and the Aether was sealed in my body. The previous host died mid-battle so it was sudden and painful. I was isolated for years as I learned to handle it. We're going to awaken my own aura so that it fuses with me completely. It is the only way to keep the world in balance."

"Oh, god. I can't imagine the feeling, it must've been so... painf-"
Nishjin's eyes start glowing bright white, and he feints...

Raz stood up and a black fire and white fire flowed out of his stone and sat next to him, and they both spoke in unison, "Raz, your parents loved you and still do. Live on, and keep your promise.", the flames both leaned in and hugged Raz and then returned into his stone.
Raz slowly got up and slowly walked back to the group and he placed a hand on Bricket's head and pulled him out of the ground, "Try and hurt him, and you're going back in that hole.", Raz then began to walk down the path, looking defeated and extremely tired.

"So... it is true..."
Bricket starts thinking
'maybe that could undo the done damage'
"You know Mara, I wish I could tell you the truth, but the truth is that none will ever want to see me again"

Mara looked at Bricket. "You can tell me. I'll still like you."

In his sleep, Nishjin cries out in a possessed voice, "Thou shalt not toy with forces you do not understand, Mara Arakh. I have sensed your presence for a long time, and have told this wolf to travel until he found you. Know this, the only way for the Aether to be contained is in good, creating a perfect balance. This host of mine doesn't have what it takes, but he's stubborn. He's waking up now, but don't tell him we had this... talk."
Nishjin wakes up from his possessed sleep, screaming.

Mara sat, confused. She never toyed with the Aether. And Nish seemed a little odd, his nunchucks oddly familiar...

Ray, who had been left at the first campsite (and had never stopped meditating to follow the group), was having one heck of a time trying to pin-point the party's position, due to the bursts of magic along with shifting, high speed winds, blasts of fire et cetera, and was wandering aimlessly, even forced to fashion a cane to avoid colliding with trees. He was, for the first time in a long time, truly afraid. His sight was again stolen, something he hadn't operated without in a long time. Ray's voice seemed frail and timid, unlike when he first met the group. "H-Hello? F-Friends? D-Don't leave me..."

Bricket looked Mara dead in the eye
"trust me, you don't want to know. Looks at Razuel, he felt it without knowing what it is."
A smile with tears in the eyes, that's how bricket looked at the moment
"and you guys are walking straight to where I've never wanted to go again."

"To Valor? Why don't you want to go to him?" Mara asked.
Ibi barely heard the Raccoon's voice, but managed to get up and stumble over to him. "Hey... right this way."
-
Raz stopped and looked back to see the others had not followed him, then as he walks back, he starts staggering his steps and his vision becomes blurry he then stops and puts a hand to his head, now wavering back and forth before falling over from exhaustion.

"I just don't like the path you guys are walking now..."
Bricket sighed, "look, you guys will never get it why, I can follow you both but why did you team up with the wolf? Are you both bad?"
-
*Firefly wakes up - looks around - sees Bricket and slowly starts walking to him*

Mara watched the wolves carefully, hoping they wouldn't fight again. "Ibi said that he deserves a chance to redeem himself." She said to Bricket.

Bricket saw Firefly walking to him.
'what now?' is Bricket thinking as he puts one hand behind his back to have the dagger which is located there in reach.
"What do you want now? Are you ready for a rematch perhaps?"

After a short while, Raz took a power nap and managed to get up and return to the group. Raz walked over to Mara and gave her a hug, "I'm sorry..."

*Firefly is standing in front of Bricket - Takes his helmet off - Eyes full of tears - He hugs Bricket*
I'm sorry for everything... I was blinded by darkness. My master made me this way, I had no choice... I've done terrible things, I understand why you want me dead. But I won't fight you. You're not my enemy. Not anymore.

"Raz, it's ok. We need to make sure these two don't rip each other's throats out." Mara said, briefly returning the embrace.

Bricket is suprised by Firefly's action
"No, no no, COME ON!"
Bricket starts cracking down
"NO! COME ON, FIGHT ME! Don't take this away, please don't do this to me".
He lets him fall on the ground
"I almost had you..."

Mara was completely shocked by Firefly and Bricket's interaction. She sniffled a little bit, tired and emotional.
-
Raz whispered to Mara, "I could stick them in the ground again and make them talk it out."
-
Mara shook her head, watching the two wolves make up.
-
Nishjin finally fully regains consciousness and looks around, his eyes as big as coins.
'What WAS THAT?!'
Trembling, he started moving towards that town, picking up his nunchucks as he went.
Looking down at them, he remembered what he saw, what he felt... Almost as if his soul was ripped from his body into a black nothingness.
Unable to think of anything else, he looked around, wondering why it had happened.
'I'll... ask Mara if I see her again. But I'm exhausted, I need to replenish my Aura.'

Bricket looked up again to Firefly
"You know I can't expect to forgive someone who tried to kill me?"
He then looked around
"See? Everyone is expecting us to fight again, so if I might trust you: what do I gain from it?"
-
Mara smiled at Bricket and Firefly, hoping they could make peace and finally become comrades.
-
You might not gain anything from trusting me... But if you're going to kill me, I won't stop you.
*Firefly walks backwards and drops his sword*
-
"don't do that, I don't attack anyone who turns his back on me."
Bricket feels defeated and turns the dagger into water£
"I want you to know one thing of me, I no longer feel remorse when I kill someone, so you will be no exception."
He then looks at Mara but keeps talking to Firefly
"Make one mistake, and it will be your last one. Now tell me, how did it feel killing me? I have no longer the interest in taking your life, but tell me how it felt to take mine. And then I can perhaps start "trusting" you"

Nishjin finally arrives at the tavern he was staying at, and flops into the bed in the room.
Trying to sleep, he has nightmares of inky blackness, of pure solitude, of what it felt like to die.
Again, he asked himself who the hell that Mara girl was, and why this was happening.

Mara shuddered. It wasn't perfect, but it was a start.

Bricket saw Mara shuddering but was expecting firefly to answer
"so, how did it feel?"

*Firefly looks down*
You were in my way Bricket, all I wanted was the girl... I was consumed by darkness then, I didn't feel much of anything. Taking your life wasn't any different. But my mission failed. So whether you take your revenge or not... they'll be coming to finish me, sooner or later.

"They won't get to you." Mara said. "We won't let them."

Raz took out a green roll of a long dripping aloe vine and he gently grabbed Bricket's arm and started to wrap it around his arm, "Stay stil, however it might sting a bit since it has some strong healing imbued in it, so your arm will be better in a matter of 2 days... Sorry for almost breaking your arm with those spikes."

It was rather sudden that Mara collapsed on the ground, unconscious. It wasn't anticipated or expected, and it hasn't ever happened before.
(Going to sleep, making drama because kicks)

Raz finished patching up Bricket and quickly caught Mara as she fell, and gently laid her down and placed a hand on her head, and a gentle flowing fire went around his hand, not burning her, but was using it to help her regain consciousness, "Ibi, come here!"

Nishjin's Aura had regained enough to infuse his nunchucks once again.
'What WAS that, bud?'
What he wasn't expecting, however, was for them to respond aloud.
They said, "Her wave of shadow has awakened me, Nishjin."
Nishjin just sat there, dumbfounded. After a period of silence, he said, "Does that mean that the prophecy has come true? I'm the one who will wield your true power?"
"Yes."
Nishjin was silent for a while more. "Well, crap. I guess that means the part about me dying protecting someone more important than myself is true, too?"
"No."
Now he was even MORE confused. "But the legend says-"
"YOU make your own destiny, Nishjin. Don't let some story tell you what to do."
Not knowing how to react to his new companion, he simply said, "You'd better not tell ANYONE what happened in Scheburg."
The only reply that came was a chuckle.

Ibi was half-supporting-half-leaning on Ray, guiding him back to the group. "What's wrong Raz? Did Mara pass out again?"
-
"Yes, she did... what's wrong with her?"
-
"Thanks for the patch-up, I guess..." says bricket rather annoyed to Razuel.
"Ey Wolf, that's the kind of answer I expected. I hope you will gain my trust when they come for you" is he saying to Firefly.
Bricket got up and started walking around and slowly realizing what he has done
"Did I do that? Did I destroy those trees? What did I do?" is he asking to himself out loud.

Ibi overheard Bricket asking if he'd knocked down the trees. "No, that was me. I was trying to shut you all up, but you were otherwise occupied."

Bricket looked at Ibi: "then what did I do?"
He sits down and looks around: "you know Ibi, this isn't the first time this happened to me"
-
Ibi tilted their head slightly. "First time what has happened?"

Bricket laughed a bit whilst sighing
"What happened then is what I am hiding and running for"
He looks in front of him away from Ibi to hide his tears and tries his best to surpress the sadness in his tone
"Have you ever lost everyone you love and hear sometimes them scream in your dreams?"

"I have." Ibi said. "You're not alone in this world, you can talk with us. You can be our friend. We're not about to kick you onto the street because you did a few things..." They sat Ray down before heading over to Bricket, laying a paw on his shoulder.

"Sorry, but I can't tell it. Mara has seen what I've done. Why are you so nice to someone who deserves to burn?"
Bricket feels himself breaking over the thoughts about what he has done
"I am not better than the worst person here, If you would know on what scale I've done it; you would immediatly want to end me"

Ibi curled their arm around Bricket's shoulders, holding him close. "Try me."
-
Bricket laughed but he feels more and more broken
"I CAN'T! I just can't Ibi" He looks at ibi dead in the eye
"I can't, and I don't want to see what I"ve done but I see it constantly happening when I sleep"
He then looks to the sky with tears rolling down his face
"It's what I deserve, not being able to live without the daily torment of my actions"

*Firefly looks at bricket - then looks away filled with emotion*
I don't think we're so different, you and I. We've both done unforgivable things. We have more in common than meets the eye. Even a condemned Wolf can can make things right again. Believe me. You don't have to suffer alone.

"Maybe, maybe not..."
Bricket then looks at Mara 'I did that huh?'
"Ibi, is it because of me that Mara is passed out?"

"Not exactly... She was protecting you from a potentially lethal blow." Ibi said.

"Do you mean in the forest?"
Bricket is trying to supress his emotions and changes subject
"Has Mara my bag?"
-
Ibi nodded. "She does. She was deeply upset after you disappeared, so she took your things as a memory. She'd be more than happy to return them, though."

Bricket smiled a bit
"Someone cared about me? I don't see that happening a lot."
He then looked at Ibi
"Can I ask you something? If you are capable of reading my memories, will you please not do it?"
-
"I promise I won't. Not that I can..." Ibi said.
-
"Good, because the last person who tried that said I should deserve to die."
Bricket was rather curious about Mara and why she took his bag
"Has Mara ever told you about what was in my bag? Also, when will she be back again?"
-
Ibi looked at their cousin with concern. "I don't know... they took quite a hit and the Aether was protecting them too. She never said that she'd looked in the bag though..."
-
"Guess she is taking a nap then" says Bricket jokingly
"Ibi, would you be angry if I told you I attacked children once? Does that make me a monster?"
-
"You're asking me that as if I know the answer." Ibi said. "The whole of Vol'kanas treated Mara as a monster when they found out she had the Aether... I was the only one to show her kindness. She held onto that and refused to believe everyone else.

Mara stirred slowly, arms bleeding from the impact.

Bricket laughed with the answer of Ibi
"What if the voices who tell me who I am are the ones telling me I am the monster? What if I am a monster but I haven't realised it yet?"
He looked at Ibi once again
"Did you know I am actually not from that town? But that I am from The North or did I already told you that?"

"I think you mentioned it. And you can choose to believe those voices, or you can ignore them, like I said. You're not the only one to have attacked innocents, but I don't want you beating yourself up over it, ok?" Ibi said, rubbing Bricket's shoulder. "You're a good guy, Bricket. You've gotten us this far."
Mara got up slowly, stumbling over to Bricket and holding him in a tight embrace.

Bricket looked at Ibi
"I might be now a good guy, but for how long?"
He then stood up and embraced Mara
"Good morning to you too Mara"

Mara sobbed quietly, holding Bricket for some time. "Sorry... I get attached to any companions we get..."

Bricket hold her
"No problem, I am here tho?"
He then looked her in the eye
"I am here now, right here and alive"

Raz got up and walked up to beside Ibi and looked at Bricket and Mara, "Aww, what a cute couple~", he says in a teasing voice and finishes with a chuckle, "Welcome back to the land of the conscious, Mara."

Bricket hears Razuel
"Look Raz, we are not a couple, besides I don't think I would be ready for someone else"

Mara blushed and stood back, releasing Bricket and covering her face.

Bricket laughed and said jokingly to Razuel "happy now?"
He then looked at Mara, "Mara, Could I have my bag back please?"
-
Raz smiled and gave a chuckle, "Yeah. A bit. But I'm only poking fun at the cute scene you two did there a few moments ago."
-
Mara fumbled, but she took the bag off and gave it back to Bricket. "N-not a couple..."
'Not yet' She thought.

Bricket smiled at Mara "thanks for keeping it, did you look in the bag?" he asked a bit worrying.
"If you did look in it, you can ask me questions about it" said he with a smile

Mara nodded. "Tell me when you're ready to. I don't want to pressure any answers out of you."

Bricket smiled, "look I don't know when I will be ready so how about you ask a small question to begin with?"
-
Mara took a small breath. "Who was the girl in the sketch?"
-
Bricket laughed, "I said a small question" said he jokingly.
"Well, she was my fiancé, I was going to marry her and I was looking forwards to it. So was she."

(Oh, snap! The plot thickens...)
Nishjin walks out of the tavern, looking around.
He hadn't been able to sleep very well, so he stretched and went into a nearby restaurant.
Ordering a small plate of fish, he tried to block out all the things that had been happening.
'I need to relax, and just do something to distract myself.'

*A knocking is heard from the restaurant door which Nishjin is eating at. A waiter goes and opens the door.*

*The waiter is instantly disintegrated into a pile of ash from the person on the other side of the door. A tall Wolfish figure wearing black armour similar to Firefly's walks in. He has a black hood and a long white beard. Looks at Nishjin and approaches him*

*Malric says in a scary low pitch tone - Smiling at Nishjin - Eyes Red like blood*

'Walking around the town a little timid looking but still strong he looked a little scared too.'

Bricket looked at Mara
"You can ask another question if you want to"

Suddenly, Raz keeled over and started to vomit out a black sludge and ad he wiped his mouth and stared at it, a chill ran down his spine, "Oh no. Oh no oh no oh nononono.", Raz got up and grabbed Ibi by the shoulders and looked her in the eyes, fear written on his face, "Ibi, uh, we need to leave now, and I mean NOW!", the sludge then seeped into the ground and the ground beneath it was stained black.

*Firefly rushes over to Raz - Feeling a similar chill up my spine*

"Alright, let's go then. We need to find Valor soon." Ibi said, getting up. They were clearly exhausted but they knew they had to go.
Mara smiled at Bricket. "Maybe another time."

Bricket started walking but ye felt a bit of homesickness
"Mara, where is Valor? Because we are walking in a north-like direction."

Ahhh it feels so weird after visiting that stupid cleanser I feel nice and the pain oh the pain of all these injuries... 'He trips and holds his face where the burns were.'

*Firefly rushes over to Raz - Feeling a similar chill up my spine*
Are you alright?! What's wrong?!
Raz was cold to the touch, "Something evil... something evil, I felt it. I could feel it staring into my soul... we really need to find Valor, I mean, I'm near to the power of Justice, but just weaker by inexperience... Ibi, how many coins do you have, because I think it would be good if we had a horse and tented wagon for our trip.", Raz kept jumping and rambling on, obviously panicking.

Ibi searched their cloak. "I haven't got enough for one... we can run though, replenishing our aura won't take long if we maintain pace.

Bricket whilst looking to Mara heard Ibi
"Have you forgotten I am a merchant?"
He searchs in his bag and finds his money which is a small fortune, "shall this do it?"

Mara's eyes lit up at the amount of coins in the bag. Their travels would be heaps easier if they had horses to ride. "That looks like it's about enough."

Bricket nodded "trust me, you will get an horse with this, if not enough horses. However I would suggest a wagon."
He then looked at Mara "where is this Valor? Why are you guys going northbound?"

(Well, I thought long and hard xD)
"Pfft. I'm not scared of your fire. Air and earth are both superior, you'll get nothing out of me. Unless, of course, you're willing to pay me...?"
Nishjin rubs his paws together and licks his lips.
"I'm sure we can work something out."

"Bricket, what other things do you have in that bag of yours?"

"Nothing that would interest you", Bricket wasn't intending to reveal his properties to the others.
They knew he was rich but he didn't want the others to know how rich he was

"Let's go get us a wagon then." Ibi said.

Bricket looked around: "allright everyone, let's go."
He then walked towards Ibi "here, have some coins and get us a wagon"
Afterwards that he walks towards Mara since he is a bit worried if she is allright

Ibi went and located someone who was willing to loan them horses and a wagon. Exchanging the coins for the horses, they headed back to the group.
Mara seemed a little zoned out, there was clearly something on her mind.

Bricket started talking to Mara

Mara came back to reality. "No. I think someone's trying to take position of Archmage... They are a Corrmage though... It could ruin all of our efforts."
Ibi returned with the horses and the cart. "Everyone get on. We need to go."

Ray struggled aboard the wagon, and scrambled to one of the corners. He felt better, now that things had calmed down, but still unable to see. His 'sight' had not yet return, as he hadn't been able to calm himself. The tension in the air was keeping the raccoon distracted.

"I see, just try to relax ok?" said Bricket to Mara as he got in the wagon

Ibi hurried the wagon along once everyone was in, going as fast as they could to the base of Valor's temple. It was going to be a long day for anyone in the back, and Ibi suggested to everyone that they should get some rest.

(This looks interesting and I am willing to join, but what has gone on so far? Also, which elements are being used by which people? And is the setup simply "Name + Species + Element + Backstory", or is there more? o.o)
Name: Cifero Windtail/Daisy Reich
Species: Crat/Celestial Wolf
Element: Earth, Fire and Air
Backstory: No one really knows how Cifero and Daisy became the way they did. However, when one dies, the other takes their place. Having slightly similar personalities and a mental connection that spans galaxies, both try to do what they can to help out those in need.
(... Yes, they have to be together, I can't separate them anymore. @-@ I could be at the base of the temple, if it would help at all.)

Once Raz had climbed on the wagon, he basically curled up as though he was a feral dragon, curling his tail t around to rest on his muzzle and thus falling asleep not much later.

(Hmm... Alright. Would it be okay if I just gave them both earth abilities instead of having Cifero have earth and daisy having fire? There is a distinct lack of earth b.... Earth elementalists in the group.)

Bricket sat in the wagon looking at the others
'I wonder if Mara her powers are really as powerful as they say they are'
He then looked outside to see the mountains of the north
'home, well it used to be'

Mara started to fall asleep, resting her head on Bricket's shoulder. One of her arms snaked around his stomach, holding him close as she dozed off.
Ibi could feel their eyelids getting heavy, they looked back and asked "Can someone take charge for a moment?"

Bricket came back to reality when Ibi said something
"Ibi, I want to but uhm I am a bit busy at the moment" says he whilst smiling and pointing at Mara

Raz woke up and slunk to the front and took the reigns, "I'll *yawns* take it from here."

Bricket looked at Razuel
"Allright bud, you take it over. Just don't crash us in a gorge."
He then grabbed his bag and starting reading in one of his books he wrote

Ray began meditating again, but found that he couldn't focus enough to pick up his meditation stones. He sighed, and after a few minutes, the stones floated about his head. However, Ray's stomach growled loudly, and the stones fell onto the wagon's floor. The raccoon groaned, and rubbed his stomach. "Ugh...Guess I forgot to eat...again."

Raz gave a smile, "I won't, don't worry."

Ibi fell asleep almost as soon as they sat in the wagon.

Bricket looked at Ray
"I don't have food with me bud, maybe when we take a stop we can get some food?"
Looking at raz Bricket started to think
'hmm, he is quite powerful and he can know others their emotions. If I would constantly smile he wouldn't be able to know how I really feel.'
"So raz, from where are you actually?" says Bricket

A figure wandered around the base of the temple. "N... not long now," they muttered, limping along with one hand pressed to their torso.

(Well, I thought long and hard xD)
"Pfft. I'm not scared of your fire. Air and earth are both superior, you'll get nothing out of me. Unless, of course, you're willing to pay me...?"
Nishjin rubs his paws together and licks his lips.
"I'm sure we can work something out."
*Malric looks at Nishjin with a blank expression*
Work Something out?... How about this?
*Without even lifting a finger every single person in the restaurant was instantly disintegrated - Piles of ash everywhere - Only Malric and Nishjin remain*
Now... I'm only going to ask you once. Where is Firefly and where is the Aether? I can kill you with a single thought. I've mastered all forms of magic except the Aether. Compared to you, I am a God. If you want your life to continue, you will tell me.
*Malric Staring at Nishjin with soulless red eyes*

Nishjin's eyes start glowing a bright, intense light.
"You see, I may not have everything mastered, but I have these nunchucks here."
He pulls out the chucks, which were glowing as well.
"Let's try this on for size, shall we?"
The light intensifies as Nishjin starts sucking all the air out of the room, and creates a vacuum around the two.

Bricket looked in his book but Firefly caught his attention
'Why would he change? Why would he suddenly be good?'
"Hey Wolf, how's the throat doing" asks Bricket

The figure kept near the base, managing to stay alive.

"Ooooh, bud. Sorry, but I can't help you."
Nishjin's eyes start glowing a bright, intense light.
"You see, I may not have everything mastered, but I have these nunchucks here."
He pulls out the chucks, which were glowing as well.
"Let's try this on for size, shall we?"
The light intensifies as Nishjin starts sucking all the air out of the room, and creates a vacuum around the two.
*Malric Snaps his fingers and the vacuum immediately disappears*
You have spirit, I like it. I will give you an opportunity. My last apprentice failed me. If you desire to learn Magic beyond anything you ever dreamed of, I will make you my new apprentice. Become my Black Knight. Learn the power I posses... And you will erase any who stands in your way.
*Malric Holds out a paw*

To tell you the truth, it was never my plan to join you. I fully expected to complete my mission or die trying. But Ibi found the light in me *Looking down at his silver chrome amour*... But there will always be that darkness inside me.
I only joined you when I learned the true power of the Aether. It is a weapon we should all fear. If my master takes it, everything as we know it will be destroyed. Our lives depend on keeping it safe.

Raz shuddered and yelled back in a wavered voice, "S-someone else get up-p here!", Raz's body began to shake, his stone slowly turning to a darker red, "N-n-now!", the seat beneath Raz became cold as ice, and his body followed suit.

"Sure Wolf, like you say."
Bricket noticed that Mara was asleep and he spoke to Firefly in a soft and quiet tone
"hypothetical speaking, could with her powers make things from the past be undone?"

*Before Firefly could answer Bricket he looked over at Raz who was yelling - Firefly rushes over to his side*
What is it Raz?! Tell me!!

Raz shakes profusely, "E-e-evil... I feel an evil presence again... but i-i-it grew...", Raz's hands clenched on the reigns, his hands visibly shaking

Bricket rushed over to raz and took over
"It's okay bud, go to the back; just take a nap."
He then looked at Firefly
"Wolf, what did you bring to us?"

Raz went back to where he had been curled up before and curled up again, his whole body shaking

Bricket remembered raz his talent to feel others their emotion so he started smiling
'Wolf, what did you do to us?'
"Wolf, to come back to my previous question: is it hypothetically possible to undo done events with Mara her powers?"

Raz's body was too cold, so he then ran over to Ibi and snuggled up with her, trying to get warm, but still shaking

*Firefly looks at Bricket - Feels a surge of darkness again*
I know who's coming... Lord Malric, Archmage. I knew he would come to finish me... But I never thought he'd find us so fast. He wants the Aether! You mustn't let him anywhere near Mara. He's more powerful than all of us combined!... He's come to complete the mission.
I don't know how powerful the Aether is. Hypothetically it's possible to undo the past... But only Mara can do it. I don't think she's ready to unleash that much power! She might die.

Bricket sighed and made the horses go faster
"But technically it is possible to undo the past"
He started to smile with the thought that he could undo his brutal mistake
"Wolf, relax he won't be able to catch up fast."

Ray made his way to the wagon's front, and eventually sat on one of the retaining spars that kept the horses in line, but seemed to add no weight to the spar.

"Ray, watcha doing there? You're going to get hurt"
Bricket then tries to grab his bag but when he tried to lift it up he spills everything on the floor of the wagon.
Books, sketches, maps, and some nordic jewels fall from out of it
"Whoops", laughs he to make it less awkward,

Ray sighed, contentedly. "The wind helps me calm down. Ever since this nonsensical fighting broke out, I've not been able to see."

Bricket looked and saw almost the whole group asleep so he didn't clean his stuff up
"meh, I will do it later" he says to himself.

"Wolf, what do you know about communities from the North?"

Ibi and Mara stirred, both of them yawning around the same time. The temple was close now, and they peered out of the wagon. Mara saw a figure out the front of the temple.
"Guys, there's someone there. Slow down a bit in case we need to get out quickly." She said. The Aether was beginning to stir again, she could tell the the Corrmage was following them. And he had found a new disciple...
"What was your old master's name again? Malric?"

*Firefly looks at Bricket*
There's not much left in the North after Malric became ruler. It's a Winter wasteland. His Castle and the Surrounding City are all that remains. Everything else was destroyed in the wake of his darkness. The Citizens were killed, forced into exile, or joined Malrics dark army. My family was murdered long ago when I was a pup, Malric took me in. And I became his weapon.
*Firefly looks down*
There's nothing left in the North for anyone but pain and despair...

Bricket had a chuckle
"sounds familiar"
He then saw the temple coming very close
"Allright chaps, we are here.."

Ibi looked at Firefly and Bricket. "Do you two want to know the difference between Archmage and Corrmage?"

Bricket looked at Ibi
"Nope, tell me"
'maybe it would be now a great time to clean-up my stuff'

Ibi took a breath. "Well, in ancient lore, there were always four Archmages: Justice, Valor, Hope, Courage. Each one was a true master at one element, making them incredibly powerful. The original four learned of the Aether, and it's tendencies to either totally destroy, or totally control any situation. The original four managed to seal it away, before it destroyed their home city, but they knew that their work was far from over - so they spread to the four corners of the world and protected it.
One young Mage, whom had witnessed the Aether being sealed away, became jealous after Bearding its power, and taught himself how to transcend auric limits. He quickly learned all four elements and became very strong. His mind and body corrupted further and further as he exploited this loophole in Aura, until he was completely unrecognisable. He changed his name to Malric, and became the first - and only - Corrmage.
While Archmages are good, they strive to protect others, the Corrmage only desires to destroy the Archmages and take the Aether for himself, becoming truly indestructible. We have had that Corrmage encounter us several times, but he never managed to take Mara's power. He knows how, though, due to him learning it after our last encounter. So you now know why we need to get to the temple so quickly. He's only a few miles behind us, and he can fly."
Ibi could have sworn, if the wagon was still, they could have heard a pin drop.

*Malric looks back at Nishjin*
They're close to an Archmage... I can smell it. We must quicken our pace if we are to catch them. There is no room for error this time. The girl will be mine, her power will be mine, Firefly and anyone else with her shall die. This world will perish in the wake of my destruction!
*Malric begins to float - Pick up Nishjin and takes to the sky - Eyes burning with hatred*
I'm coming for you Mara... And this time, nothing will save you

Bricket looked at Ibi
"with what the hell have you guys involved me with?"
He stood up and starting packing his bag
"I wish you guys all of luck"
The wagon which was now arrived at the temple stopped and Bricket jumped out of it
"Mara, you go inside, I am gone."

Mara felt a tightness in her chest as Bricket packed his things. "But... we need you... please, we need a water Mage. Even if you're not hugely skilled, I just... please?" She had no idea why she was so upset by Bricket wanting to leave, but she wanted every excuse for him to stay.
"Alright everyone, we're... here.. What on earth?" Ibi had seen the lone figure up close now, and they seemed injured.

Nishjin looks up at Malric.
'This guy... is angry. I'll try to settle him down, make sure he doesn't do anything rash.'
He looks down, high above the landscape.
'But not right now, this is a bad time to make him mad at me!'

"Look Mara, like Ibi said: I can't deal with this guy. I might do some watertricks or be good with playing in the dirt, it's not just for me."
Bricket stopped walking
"This is what I am good in: IN walking away"

I can't go in that temple. It doesn't feel right... I'll stay with the cart
*Firefly mutters*
(Meanwhile...)
We're close, my Nishjin. They can run but they can't hide. I am an unstoppable force. I am a predator amongst a world of sheep... I am a walking apocalypse.
*Malric Smiles - laughs in his scary low tone voice*

Raz got up, his body had warmed up from Ibi's own body heat from when he had snuggled up to her, and he jumped out of the wagon, the snow filled ground beneath him melting to reveal ground which then it sprouts grass and some flowers, Raz then touched the ground and Raz's heart felt as though it was set at peace, and as Raz exhaled in relief, the area around the temple melted the snow and trees and flowers sprouted, Raz looked around in awe at what happened, "Whoa... did I do that?", Raz then saw Bricket start to walk away and he ran infront of Bricket and stopped them, "Wait, don't go... because...", Raz looked down then looked at Mara then back at Bricket, "Because, well... Mara loves you, she may not know it, but I can feel it, and if you leave now, you'll only break her heart."

Bricket looked at Raz with a neutral expression
"That only makes it worse, I had someone I loved and it hurts way too much for me to even think about her. How do you expect me to love if I
can't even love myself?"
He then puts up a fake smile, a smile he had practiced a lot and turns around looking at Mara
"And if I just walk you in the temple, is that fine too?"

'MY Nishjin?! WHO THE HELL DOES THIS GUY THINK HE IS?!'
Fuming, Nishjin looks down, seeing a temple in the distance.
"Hey, that temple over there. What is that?"
'Hopefully we'll get whatever we're gonna do over with, and then I'll show him who "HIS" Nishjin really is...'

Mara's face went a bright red as Raz told Bricket of her affections. Looking towards Ibi, she was met with a smile.
Ibi had smiled at Mara, but noticed a shadow creeping over the land. "He's close. Everyone inside!" They said, bounding up the steps.

Bricket starting running into the temple
"Here we go again" is he saying whilst ironically laughing
"I am going to stay here at the door, now all of you: Keep running and do not look back at me!"

"Bricket, no! He'll kill you!" Mara cried out. She took his arm and tried to pull him further in.
Ibi had carried the figure inside, still unaware of its identity.

Raz stopped at the door with Bricket, took his hand and put a glowing sapphire in their hand, "Keep this in your hand, it will boost your powers in water, I'll help you defend.", Raz stared Mara in the eyes, "Don't worry, I'll keep him safe."

"What else can I do?" He followed Mara
"How can I help? What's the purpose here?" He grabs a sketch of him and his girlfriend
"Look Mara, on the map you will see a location called home: go to there and burry this sketch there."
Bricket stopped running in the hallways and made a wall of thick ice
"I won't stop him but it will slow him down for a minute or so, every second will count"
He puts down his bag and points the location to Mara
"Now, go!"

"I... I hope so..." Mara said, turning and running into the temple. A tear fell from her eye as she thought about what Bricket had said. She wondered how anyone could become so torn by pain that they shut off affection.
As she and Ibi entered the heart of Valor's temple, the Archmage appeared next to them.
"Ah, I was expecting you. Shall we begin?"

*Firefly says again - looking at the nearby forest - sensing a familiar darkness*

*Malric lands in a forest - close to the temple - Puts Nishjin down)
Nishjin... It's time for your first mission. These mages, you know them correct? I want you find Mara and lure her to me. If you get the chance... Kill firefly. But don't blow your cover.

Bricket walked back to Raz
"Have you ever fought sided with someone from the North?"
He took position at the door
"What I did to Wolf was just the appetite, now let's hope Malric is hungry"

Nishjin nods, heading towards the temple.
He sees Firefly next to a cart, and Bricket and Raz at the temple entrance.
'Kill him, huh? I can't blow my cover, and those two are in plain view...'
Nishjin decides on a plan.
"GUYS! HELP, SOME CRAZY WOLF GUY IS CHASING ME AND HE'S MAD!"
He runs out to the temple, fake panicking.
'Hopefully, they'll shove me inside and try to defend...'

*Firefly's ears perk*
Crazy wolf?! what?!

Raz put a hand on Bricket's shoulder, "I won't let you die, Bricket, so go and protect them, be the last line of defense, and if I fall, it's been nice knowing you.", Raz stopped Nishjin and looked him in the eyes, "You're lying~ I can tell."

Bricket looked at Razuel
"I am pretty sure this is the end for me, but before I go I have to say one thing: I killed everyone I love..."
He knew how heavy it was what he just said but he was in actionmode, to prevent anyone from entering was his only goal.
"Raz, do not let Nishjin in. Wolf will handle it"

Raz looked at Nish with a toothy grin, grabbed him by the throat and threw him out, "Stay away, evil pawn, or you will die!", looks back at Bricket, "Go now! I won't say it again."

'Crap. This isn't how I thought it would go.'
Nishjin growls, his façade gone.
"Nothing personal, Raz. This is how it's gotta be."
His eyes start glowing, and he pulls out his nunchucks.
'Might as well test out how well this new power suits me.'
He begins to create a tornado of rocks and trees.

Bricket looked at raz like the family of a person who is going to be executed look at him
"Raz,... good luck and remember you did good."
Bricket starts running, picks up his bag he then looks for one last time at Razuel
"So long buddy", he then makes a wall which seals of the entrance.
He runs again in the direction Mara and Ibi went

*Malric hears the yelling from across the forest - sighs*

*Malric starts walking towards the temple*

*firefly looks at Nishjin - growls*
My master replaced me with YOU!!
... Yes I did Firefly, don't you like him? He wouldn't betray me like you did.
*Malric stands across from all the mages outside the temple - looking at Firefly*
No... Malric.... Please... It's not what it looks like... I...I
*Firefly pulls out his sword - Malric snaps his fingers and Firefly's sword disintegrates*
I promise before I kill you... You will suffer greatly
*Malric smiles*

Bricket hears the screams and makes another wall
'Do your job, all you've got to do.'
"Hey Ibi, I am here to protect you guys, where are you?"

Nishjin looks at Malric, smirking.
'That guys gonna be in for a disappointment when I get rid of him, but whatever.'
He starts launching rocks at Raz, lifting him in the air so it's harder for him to dodge.

Valor took his position near the circle of sand, with Mara in the middle of it. Ibi was stood on the other side, conjuring his fire magic.
"This will hurt, dear, but I feel I am the last to do this to you. It will take a few minutes, and the procedure cannot be interrupted." Valor said, his deep voice echoing in the large room as water flowed from his gauntlets.
"Buy us time guys..." Ibi said, pushing their fire towards the sand.

Raz chuckles, "Y'know, I used to be as weak as you, but I was taught to become stronger,", Fire tendrils started to form out of the ground, "and stronger I became. Taught by Archmage Justice, for 16 years I learnt everything he knew, except for one thing, the one thing he told me never to use, something devestating, and to only teach it to the Aether when she was ready, and that is, THIS!", Raz curled himself in then thrust his chest forward, causing a beam of pure plasmic fire to be shot out, and although it hit Nish, it didn't hurt him, but instead purified him, and the beam changed its course and headed straight for Malric.
Raz fell to one knee and looked at Nish, "Get inside... your enhancements are of no danger to us... anymore...", Raz then began to breath heavily, a trench had formed in the ground from where the beam hit the ground, "Nish... help me... get in the... temple..."
The beam shook the ground, to which an Archmage would know what the shaking would be caused by, and would be mistaken by something Justice would've cast.

Bricket found and Ibi and started talking
"I don't know how long they will be able to hold."
He looks nervous and gives Ibi his bag
"I've already told Mara what to do with it and with the things inside it. Just make sure it gets delivered without a scratch."
He then walks out of the room again and makes a wall but stops when it's in the middle of the progress
"Ibi, this is it. I don't know what to say, " he sighs, "don't let anyone inside how hard they might scream to let them inside, got it?"
The wall closes and the room is sealed.

'What? Why is Raz... right? No, I can't let him do this to me.'
"No, Raz. You'll get nothing from me. You've never done anything for me to deserve it."
Looking up at Malric, Nishjin adds, "He has, and I need it more than I need you. I may not be a danger to you using magic, but..."
Snarling, Nishjin approaches Raz, who was weakened.
"I can still use my fangs."

Finish Razuel quickly and get the Girl... This ends tonight!
*Malric channels more of his magic into Nishjin*
Congragulations, Nishjin. You have complete and total mastery of Air and Earth... As for you Firefly
*Malric snaps his fingers and Firefly's helmet explodes into a million shards - snaps his fingers again and Firefly's leg breaks*
Aggh!! No!! *Firefly yelps - collapses onto one knee*
*Firefly shoots a fireball at Malric but it has no effect*
You can't fight me, I'm a God to you...Your fate is sealed
*Malric laughs in his scary evil tone voice*

Mara turned, hearing Bricket's voice one last time before agony ripped through her, she fell to her knees as the Aether was drawn out. It looked like black water, suspended in the air. She stared at it for a moment before her own aura was drained too, her body going lifeless for a minute while the two magical energies fused together. As they merged, they flowed back into her body, causing her to glow deep red. Sweat dripped down Ibi's back as their aura poured into the sand, creating a barrier around Mara. The rumble from outside felt like one of Justice's abilities, but there had been no sense of him being there.
As Mara's body filled with her new life force, she floated up, the Aether giving her ancient knowledge and power beyond reckoning. There were still choked screams though, as the pain was still there.

"Heh, looks like I won't need to dirty my paws."
Trying to move the temple's wall, Nishjin can't overcome the ancient seal put on it.
'Fine. Guess I'll do it the old way...'
He starts throwing large boulders at the entrance to the temple.

Bricket hears the first wall slowly being destroyed
"come on wall, hold this one."
He started getting a bit more nervous knowing this could possibly his last stand
Bricket was filling up the hallway with water untill his ankels, so if someone would break a wall he would notice it by the waterlevel going lower

The temple shook, but it held strong. As the procedure neared its peak, two enormous wings protruded from Mara's back. They looked like they were made of Aether, and they were at least fifty feet wide. Her claws sharpened and her muscles grew stronger, her whole body adapting to the destructive element inside of her.
With a scream that shatter all of the glass in a 100-foot radius, the procedure finished.
Mara was now in full control of the Aether.

Breaking through the first wall, Nishjin notices water flooding out.
'They know I'm here...'

Bricket made an island for him in the water and then froze the water.

"Ibi, keep Mara inside and remember: how hard I might scream for help, do not open!"

The wings faded and Mara was left standing, Valor and Ibi both unconscious on the floor. Her eyes glowed red instead of blue, and she walked out to Bricket. Her voice seemed to have a different tone, too. "I will deal with this. You and the others get inside."

Why would you do this to me Firefly? you were just like me, I gave you everything.
*Malric snaps his fingers again and breaks Firefly's other leg - Firefly collapses onto the ground - yelping from extreme pain*
I'm nothing like you!! *Firefly barks*
You are exactly like me, You think because your armour is nice a shiney means you're a changed wolf? No... Nobody changes. Your the same little puppy I left alive after I killed your parents... And you're just as evil now as you were before.
*Malric smiles*
You murdered my parents, monster!! I'll Kill you!! *Firefly barks louder - tears rolling down his face*

*Malric laughs*

Nishjin sees Bricket there, ready to fight.
"Bricket, the first time I saw you, you tried to kill someone. I guess we're a victim of role reversal."
He releases the boulder and snarls, "I'm going to finish you, something Firefly never could!"
The room starts getting the air sucked out, but before fully vacuum, he adds, "Hopefully you can breathe better than when Raz tried to kill you."

As suddenly as Mara's appearance, a red orb slammed into Malric, knocking him back several metres.

Raz slowly made his way to the middle chamber by submerging himself in the ground and sliding himself into the middle chamber, but not before sending a pillar at Malric and pulling Firefly with him in the ground

Mara stared at Malric. "You may have tried, but you have failed." Another orb slammed into his side.

'Bricket... You... Bastard...'
The lack of air gets to Nishjin, making him pass out before he can seriously damage Bricket.

Bricket looked at Mara but then saw Wolf
"goddamnit", Bricket runned to wolf and picked him up
"Why do you keep getting in trouble?"
He then starting walking with Wolf getting away from Malric and bringing him into safety

*Malric gets up*
Mara... I've waited a long time to meet you. You're so beautiful in person... Now be a good girl and give me the Aether
*Malric is holding out his Paw*
You wouldn't want all your friends to die, would you?
*Malric smiles showing his blood red teeth*

Raz shot into the chamber that Valor was in, breathing heavily, he looked up at Valor, his chest stone cracked

"I'm afraid your quest is over Malric. You failed." Mara said, hurling another orb at him. It was bigger than the other ones and there was a loud <crack> as it impacted the Corrmage.

Bricket kept walking with Wolf even tho he knows he is in danger
"Look Wolf, we are almost in safety, just try to relax; allright?"
"IBI, Get over here and help me now!"

Raz looked up at Valor, "Archmage Valor... help me... please..."

Valor stirred, hearing Raz's cries for help. He went over and inspected the damage, holding the stone together.
"You did a very unwise thing, dragon. Your aura is almost depleted. I can repair your soulstone, but you may lose some of your abilities."
Ibi groaned, returning to consciousness slowly. Their aura was very low, and they could hardly sit up. It would take at least a week to recover from this...

*Malric hits the ground hard - A piece of his shoulder armour cracks off - he gets up*
Well... That's different
*Malric forms a massive boulder 30 feet above one hand - and a massive ball of fire above the other hand - Hurls them both at Mara*
I'll pull the Aether out of your dead corpse if I have to. Hahahahahahahaha!!!
*malric laughs, a small bit of blood dripping from the corner of his lip*

Why are you helping me Bricket?! I thought you wanted me dead?!
*Firefly yelps*

Bricket drops Firefly in the entrance of the temple
"Allright, you're good for now."
he then looks outside to see Mara and Malric fight
'I count on you', he then closes of the entrance

Raz's eyes widened and he grabbed Valor's hand, trying to pull himself up, "N-no, please... Archmage Justice left me with his powers... I can't think of parting with... with those... or the only thing that makes me me... please, argh, there must be another way."

Mara's body moved with blinding speed, throwing shields of Aether up, disintegrating the Boulder and causing the fire to turn to smoke. She walked closer to Malric and held out her hand, waiting for him to take it.
She had fill her hand with Aether, and intended to use it to destroy Malric.
Valor paused, holding Raz's stone together. "What happened to Justice?"

Bricket sat down feeling tired but yet having a lot of energy
"Did I just save someone?"
He couldn't believe it
"Did I do something good?"

Have you come to your senses, girl?... I've waited half a century for this weapon. I have killed kings. Conquered the North. Burned Cities to the ground. Mastered every form of magic... Except this. With this Aether, I would wield the strength of the Sun. I will be a walking apocalypse in the eyes of all. I will have no equal. There will be no dawn. nothing can stop me... All will fear the name of Malric, the God... One way or another, this world will be mine.
*Malric looks at Mara - holding out a paw*
Your time is up... Give me the Aether or I'll kill your friends like I killed Firefly's family.

Raz's face was filled with grief and sadness, "He became ill sometime after Mara left, he sent me out for supplies and when... and when I returned, he was on his death bed, unable to cast anything to keep his health stable... his last resort was to transfer his knowledge over to me... he did, but at what cost... the cost of his life, the only person who had taken me in." Raz paused, sadness overtaking him, but he tried to continue, "And-d his last words were to tell the other Archmages of his death... and, and... 'I love you, my son.". And that's when he finished transferring his powers to me...", Raz looked up at Valor in the eyes, "Please! There must be another way!"

Mara turned her hand, conjuring the Aether and thrusting it into Malric's chest, destroying his armour. "I'm not giving you anything..." She snarled.
Valor sighed. "You know what this means, don't you? We need to find a new Archmage. As far as I can see, either you or the hybrid will become the new Justice, but I will leave that to you two to decide." He used his own aura to seal the soulstone together, trying to seal in as much of Justice's knowledge as he could.

Bricket picked Firefly back up again and walked him to the central room.
"does anyone have a stick or 2?"
He looked around
"We need to get Wolf his legs right again, or else he won't be able to walk again"

Raz sat up and took in a deep breath then looked at Valor, but sill very weak, "Archmage Valor, I want to become the new Justice and carry after my father."

Ibi was panting. "I'd help you Bricket, but I'm absolutely exhausted..."
Valor stood straight. "As you wish. We will have to wait to make it official though, because there is a large battle going on outside, and I think your arachnid friend would want to be present."

*Malric gets up from the dust - holding all his broken armour in his paws - His green fur blowing in the wind*
You destroyed my indestructible armour, congratulations. As you can tell, I tried being nice. But now... I'm going to kill you
*Malric completely lights himself on fire - not affected by his own flames - leaps at Mara with teeth and claws*
I will tear you apart!
(Meanwhile...)
*Firefly is trying to hold back the pain as best as he can - looks at Bricket*
Bricket... You've changed, You saved me

Raz nodded and laid back down as his arms that were propping him up began to fail him, so he laid there, his stone's glow fading in and out as he breathed

Mara was unaffected by the flame, her aura protecting her as she dodged, turned and pinned Malric into the ground. "You've lost, don't you realise? I am one with the Aether now. There is no way for you to take it now, and if you do, then everyone will die. You won't be a God, you'll be dust."

Raz put his hand on the ground and two stone rods came out of the floor and laid next to Bricket, "There, Bricket, you can use those.", and then proceeded to crawl over to Ibi

*Malric begins to channel all of his power together - creating the equivalent of an Atom bomb made of pure darkness*

*Malric smiles - his face covered in blood*

Regaining consciousness, (and finishing mowing the lawn, xD) Nishjin sees Malric fighting against Mara, and failing.
"Malric! Transfer me mastery of all the elements, if only temporary! I'll help you!"
'This jerk is gonna get what he deserves. Don't finish him yet, Mara, I want in on it.'

Mara wrapped Malric in a web of Aether. "You're right. You have to lay down your King now." She begins to crush him, shooting bright lights everywhere to break his concentration.

*Malric looks up and sees Nishjin - Malric still pinned in the web - Slowly dying from the Aether - He quickly channels much of his power into Nishjin*
This is your only chance Nishjin! I have given you all the power I can! You know what to do! Finish this!

Nishjin laughs, sneering at Malric.
"You thought you could rule the world, that you could destroy anything in your way? You don't own anyone, least of all, ME!"
Ripping out his nunchucks, Nishjin yells "I'M MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU NOW THAT I CAN CONTROL THE POWER OF THESE! I WILL END YOU!"
Creating a ball of light, Nishjin flings it at Malric with all of the Aura he can spare.

*From the Power of the Aether mixed with the power of Nishjin - Malric explodes, unable to self destruct his aura bomb - Shards of darkness firing everywhere - a massive explosion throws everyone back*
*A single patch of green fur remains - Malric is dead*

Nishjin gets up after the explosion, feeling power drain from his body.
'That bastard gave me temporary power, but I'm still a master of Earth...'
"Well, that happened! I say he got what he deserved! No hard feelings, right guys?"
He looks around at everyone standing around him.
"Right, Mara?"

Mara stood over the patch of fur. "Why did you join him?"

"I... needed him. I didn't join him, I used him for his power."
He looks down at his nunchucks.
"I needed to master these."

"Joining the Corrmage is no way to do that." Mara said. "You need to train, and earn your skills. Seizing power is the way he became so corrupt."

Nishjin looks down at his paws.
"Now that he's gone, I realize that I shouldn't have relied on him. But I will get this power, you watch me."
He starts to hover in the air, saying, "Firefly, you should join me. I'm going to the North, to master the last two elements."

Raz made it over to Ibi, gave her a hug and then gave her a small smooch on the cheek, "Hell of a day, eh?"

*looks a Nishjin - legs still in pain from being broken*
It's time for us to go home... The North needs to be rebuilt

Ibi sighed. "Yeah... hell of a day. I'm gonna be out of action for a couple of weeks... awakening Mara took pretty much all my aura..."
Mara turned, looking at Nish. "Stay with us and train. We have various elements to train against."

Raz chuckled, "Well, i think I'm gonna be stuck with Valor for a while because I think I may be become the new Archmage Justice."

"No, Mara. I need to help Firefly, and the North. I haven't been home in years, but I must go back now... Maybe I'll se you again, one day."
Nishjin flies over to Firefly, hoisting him up onto his back.
'Ah, the North. I haven't been there in years! Not since Malric took over...'
Wrapping some sticks around Firefly's legs, Nishjin flies towards a medic center.

Bricket gets up and walks outside to see Nishjin
He didn't say much but Bricket kept walking towards him with a rather angry expression.
When getting closer to Nishjin he said
"Oh Hello, how are you?"
He then punches Nishjin in the face, making Nishjin drop on the floor
"What's that? Did I hurt you?"
When Nishjin is on the floor Bricket kicks him several time. He then gets in the wagon and only says
"We're going back."
Sighing
"The north is dead for me, there is nothing to save."

Ray, who had fallen asleep even before the wagon reached the temple, and had even slept through the battle, woke up silently. The blanket wrapped around him fell back, and Ray turned, smiling sleepily. "W-Wh-where are we going, friends?"

Raz continued to stay beside Ibi, laying on the floor next to her, "And since I'll be staying behind to train as Justice, I suppose I could teach you to fight in the air on my off time, eh?", Raz turned himself over onto his side and gave her a long hug, using a gentle green fire to heal her wounds where his body covered her, trying not to hurt her with the fire, "Feeling better?"

Bricket looked at Ray
"Don't worry Ray, we're going home."
He then looked outside and was waiting for Mara and Ibi to get into the wagon
"There is nothing left in the North, so no reason to go to there anymore"

Not far from the entrance, there was a bright flash of pink light in the woods.

Arriving at the hospital, Nishjin drops Firefly down and helps him inside.
While waiting for the healer to finish, he overhears a conversation.
"Did you hear what happened at the temple?"
"What?"
"Apparently, some guy killed Malric, the Corrmage!"
"Nah, it's probably just a story. Nobody could kill him."
"Didn't you feel that earthquake?"
"Well, yeah, but that doesn't mean anything."
Nishjin chuckles to himself. 'News travels fast. But I wonder if that means someone was watching the fight...? Who could it have been?'

Back at the temple, a figure stumbled through the forest, breathing as though recently stressed. A light pink glow ould be seen before it disappeared, as though covered. "..Your message got through," the figure murmured to itself, glancing around. Suddenly, spying the wagon, they began to head towards it. While they could be seen coming, it would be hard to tell who they were because of the shadows of the forest.

Bricket spotted someone outside
"MARA! Someone is coming"
He threw his bag in the back and was ready for another fight

Ray furrowed his brow. "What happened? Who's coming?!" He stood, and neatly toppled out of the wagon, onto the forest floor.

He looked at Ray
"Calm down Ray, someone from out the forest is coming to us; I don't trust him."
"Mara Ibi! Are you guys coming to help?"

*Firefly begins getting extensive medical treatment*
Soon. I shall reclaim the north... I shall reclaim the throne
*Firefly whispers to himself*

Ray groaned, and sat up slowly. "S-So...w-what'd I miss?"

Bricket being cautious chuckled
"Well Ray, you pretty much missed the battle of the century."
"Allright, who are you?!' Shouts bricket to the person outside

(I was asleep...)
Mara and Ibi made their way over to Bricket. "Another?" Ibi said. "But what about the one I already took inside?"

"I don't know Ibi"
Bricket walked to the back of the wagon in case someone else would try to sneak attack from there

Ibi looked at the figure. They seemed similar to the other one, but Ibi wasn't sure. "Stay wary, only attack if they attack first." they said.
Mara was looking at her hands, and the crimson aura she had conjured.

"Got it" answered Bricket
'I wonder what someone with some watertricks can do'
"So Mara, how does it feel being the most powerful person?"

"Kinda strange... my whole body is just coursing with energy." Mara said. "I won't lie when I say that all of my senses are amplified like crazy..."

"Yeah, worst thing is you're now surrounded by puny mortals" jokes Bricket.
"Remember what I said about the sketch to bring it to a certain location? You don't have to do that anymore Mara"

Mara poked Bricket, giggling at his first remark. "Want me to go with you?" She asked.
Ibi was still examining the figure in the woods.

Bricket sighed
"Guess I will have to back don't I? It's been a while and I know none will be waiting..."
He looked at Mara
"I mean, if you would want to go with me to the North it would be lovely"

Mara smiled. "I'd love to go with you." She reached out and took his paw.

Bricket looked at Mara and smiled
"Thanks, but you might not see the person there you like."
He lets his paw rest with Mara

Mara was unsure what to make of that comment. "I'm sure you'll still be the same person when we're there. Maybe a little cold, but you should be fine."

"Well Mara, my name isn't even my name."
He pointed to a sketch he pulled out of his bag
"See this name here? Kinaktok? That's the real name, just don't tell anyone"

"You're not very focused," a quite, shy-sounding voice said from not too far away.

Bricket keeps looking at Mara but makes an icedart
"say what again?" says he to the voice he hears.
"You see Mara, I've got a lot to say during the journey"

"Sorry, let me rephrase that... you're good at multitasking," the voice said from about ten feet behind Bricket. "Are you folks..." (Feel free to do something mid-sentence.)

Bricket interrupts
"Allright, what do you want this time? Extra power? Killing one of us? Money? Jewels?"
He turns his head towards the voice
"Just tell me, so I can carefully explain you why it won't happen"

Mara turned around. She conjured some of her power and prepared to throw it towards the figure, until she noticed that they weren't moving to attack. She withdrew her hands and fizzled the aura.

Bricket looks back at Mara
"So, when things are done; we leave. That's okay for you?"
He then looks back in the direction of the voice
"So, for what are you here?"

About ten feet away stood a rather confused looking wolf girl with strange purple eyes, grey fur, pink hair, and a long, pink-tufted tail. "...Is this a bad time?" she asked, flushing a little. "I could wait until you guys are done talking..." She was clad in a pair of shorts and a cut-off tank top, and had one hand pressed to her abdomen around where her belly button would be.

Mara stood straight. "No, we were just talking about the North. Lovely place."
Ibi stood and watched the conversation from afar, leaning on the wagon for support.

The girl rubbed the back of her head with her free hand, keeping the other one pressed to her midriff. "Okay...." she murmured, looking at Bricket for a moment. "... I'm not going to attack. I promise. Unless, you know... you attack me."

Ray stood slowly, and turned to the stranger. "Hello, there!" He held out an open paw, smiling. "Please, come here. My eyes, you see...aren't working very well. I wish to know who the timid child is."

Mara chuckled. "If I attacked you, you'd be dead where you stand. See that pile of green fur there?" She gestured to said pile. "That was the Corrmage Malric."

"I know, I was watching the whole thing... sort of," the strange wolf replied. "Well, my associate was, but he's long gone.... I think to, er... spread your exploits." She smiled awkwardly. "And I meant your friend with the ice dart, not you." The girl cocked her head as she heard Ray's voice. "Who's that?"

Henry sat in a small village, his chair was seated right next to a bulletin board so he could catch any jobs that where posted.

Raz walked out of the temple, a small blue flame now hanging between his horns, and then walked up next to Ibi, to which the flame then disappeared, "Hello, all... who's this?", he directed his question towards the new wolf

Ibi looked on to the small crowd. "I don't know, but they seem friendly."
Mara looked across to Bricket. She hesitated, before speaking up. "Bricket. This is Bricket."

he then looks at Mara waiting for her to introduce here

The wolf wagged her rather long and tufted tail a bit, fixing Mara and Bricket with a decidedly friendly gaze. Her eyes were purple, and looked like they had galaxies in them. "Um... My name is Daisy," she said, flushing a little. "And... er... what's your name?" She still had her hand pressed to her belly, though she was clearly unhurt.

Nishjin was pacing in the waiting room of the apothecary's shop.
'Come on, Firefly, get out of there soon...'
His Aura had fully regenerated, and now he was simply waiting on Firefly's recovery.

*After an extensive recovery - Firefly was released from medical care - legs healed*
I'm ready Nishjin, lets take to the North! Our land needs reclaiming... A new dawn is on the horizon

"Hellon Daisy, welcome"
Bricket looked at Daisy a bit worrying
"What's going on? Did you hurt yourself?"

Nishjin hoists Firefly onto his back and starts hovering in the air.
"I'll only be able to fly about half the way, we'll have to walk a little."
He starts flying towards the North, eyes shining bright.
"Finally, I'll be able to go home! I wonder if my brother is still there... You may be able to meet him, Firefly."

Mara looked back towards Daisy and smiled. "I'm Mara. Guardian of the Aether." She stepped forward and held out a hand.
Ibi looked at Nish and Firefly. "If you guys wait a bit, we'll join you in your journey.

A hooded figure riding a horse came slowly moving down the track. The figure was completely concealed from head to toe by a black cloak, which almost seemed too big for them.

Daisy flushed a little as Bricket spoke. "... No," she said. "Um... Nice to meet you." The wolf extended the hand not covering her belly and shook Mara's hand firmly. "So... Do you need an extra hand?"

Ray climbed back into the wagon, his legs crossed in front of himself.
-
"Extra companions are always welcome." Mara said. "Hey, what's with your belly, might I ask. Is there something wrong?"
-
"Well, I'm not staying any longer. Besides, I only have room for one passenger, so there no use waiting for you guys."
Floating up in the air, Nishjin adds, "If you want to stay Firefly, you can, but I'm gonna go up ahead."

As the figure passed by the temple, they gently patted the horses neck, telling it to stop. They gazed at it for some time, using their Aura to communicate with the trees and get a feel for their surroundings. There are people inside... Shall I go introduce myself...?

Ibi turned, seeing a horse and a cloaked rider. They stumbled over, still weak. "Hi there, traveler. Looking for something?"

A female voice emerged from the cloak. She was obviously quite young. "Hi... I umm... I'm just p-passing by..."

Daisy breathed a sigh of relief as Mara became distracted with the new girl's arrival, but, despite this reprieve, walked over as well to back Mara up for the hell of it.

'I've met plenty of people in the past three days, I'm not gonna meet any more...'
Nishjin flies off towards the North while everyone is distracted with the new arrival.
'They won't miss me anyways. Besides, traveling with them would slow me down.'
He speeds up and darts into the distance, a speck in the sky.

Daisy whips her head to the noise. "What the...?" she muttered, watching the other person fly off. "... Okay, that might be worrisome later," she said to herself, returning her focus to the new girl. Her hand was still on her belly.

Bricket keeps smiling but is also getting quite annoyed by the extra people
'Sure, invite everyone Mara... Yes I was willing to show to you who I really was but to everyone?'
"well, its going to be a crowded ride I see" said he with a very small almost unnoticable sarcastic tone
"Why the cloack?" asked Bricket to the new stranger

Daisy cocked an eyebrow. "Well, isn't someone grumpy."

"Am I grumpy then?" asks Bricket
'Woohoo, I got already a fight going' thinks Bricket
"Just get in the wagon, we're going North"

*Firefly watched as Nishjin disappeared into the distance*
Well... I'm not going to let him have all the glory. Now that Malric's dead, I have my own agenda to follow. If anyone's going to be the new king it's going to be me... Long may he reign.
*Firefly smiled - he starts toward the direction where Nishjin took off*

Daisy nodded. "Alright," she said, climbing into the wagon. The bottom of an intricate tattoo could be seen on her bare lower back as she got in; it appeared to be the tips of wings.

Bricket sees the new passenger getting close to the bag
"No, not there!" says he in a rather loud voice
his voices calmes when Bricket says "you can sit more in the front."

Daisy looks over her shoulder, surprised. "... I was heading there," she said, covering her belly again. Before she did, a slight pink glow could be seen. "Thanks, though." The wolf retreated into the wagon.

"Also, why the pink stuff?" Bricket asked
'hmm, I don't trust the new one...' was he thinking to himself

*Firefly begins traveling farther and farther north - He buys himself a horse from a nearby stable and rides faster to his homeland*
When my people see me return, I shall take the empty throne. The armies of the north will be mine and we shall reclaim everything that was rightfully ours... With the strength of 10,000 men, we will be unstoppable. I hope Nishjin stands with me when our great nation returns to its former glory.
*Firefly's armour begins to turn dark again*

Daisy flushed. "... I'll explain once we're on the road, okay?" she said sheepishly.

Bricket looked at Daisy
"Right..."
He then looked back in front of him waiting to leave
"Daisy, why do you want to join us actually?"

Nishjin stops at a town about 5 skylengths from the bottom-most Northern Territories.
'Maybe I should've brought Firefly?'

Nishjin looks around wildly, saying "Who was that?"
"Don't you remember? I can talk now."
Looking back at his pack, Nishjin realizes who he was talking to.
"It's not like I knew him very well, the only thing we had in common was Malric. That, and we both come from the North."
"Ultimately, it isn't my decision. But you may regret leaving him behind. His mental state when you left was... Unstable, to say the least. I don't doubt that without you to calm him, he may become a second Malric."
Nishjin rolls his eyes. "Why me? Why not anyone else?"
"You're the only other one who knew Malric personally. You could tell him when he strays from the correct path."
"Oh, so you're a fortune teller? If I don't go get him, he'll want to rule the North? Well, you know what?"
Nishjin paused for a second, feeling himself get worked up. "I don't want to rule the North, so if he wants to, he can."
"Don't you see that's why you'd be a good ruler? You don't want the position, the power wouldn't go to your head."
"This conversation is over. Let's just get some sleep."
Renting a room for a night, Nishjin sleeps fitfully, waiting for his Aura to recover.

Daisy shrugged. "Well, you seem to be the good guys so far," she said, sitting back with one hand still on her belly. "And... well, I'm one too, so I thought we could work together, maybe?"

"I can tell you one thing, I hope you aren't too emotional because emotions will be a burden when you're in the North."
Bricket points towards his bag and asks "could someone give me my bag?"

Cherri was about to answer Bricket's question about the cloak, but noted his attention drifting somewhere else. She mumbled something to herself, and then rode her horse next to the wagon. "If we may be of service to you... Umm... W-We would appreciate the umm... Company...

Ibi called out as they collapsed, falling to the ground as their legs became too weak to hold them. "Can I get a little help here?" Their whole body had gone limp from exhaustion, it was a wonder that they were still alive.

"Sure, go ahead; feel like home"
Bricket sighs to see the group expanding, so far his plan to just show Mara his previous home.
He then sees Ibi collapsing and runs towards there
"Ey, don't have the tumbling fever yet', he picks Ibi up and walks towards the wagon with Ibi

The girl slowly gets off her horse and kneels down to the ground, placing a palm onto the grasses. As she retracted her paw, a tall rose bush began rising from the grass. She picked a rose and walked over to Ibi, presenting it to her. "U-Ummm... M-Maybe this will umm... Make you feel better...?"

*All 500 guards stand up and follow Firefly as they march towards to the castle - Firefly's armour grows darker*
*Firefly snaps his fingers and fills the night sky with millions of fireflies - begins to whistle 'for he's a jolly good fellow'*

Daisy pricks her ears up as a breeze flows through the trees. "Shoot," she muttered, standing up and grabbing Bricket's bag, then bringing it to him with one hand. "Here's your bag... also, we may want to get a move-on. I think you guys have a new enemy to defeat."

Bricket looked around and saw everyone in the wagon
'"thanks Daisy for my bag."
He then made the journey commince;

The cloaked girl had gotten back onto her horse and began moving alongside the wagon. She kept mumbling to herself, talking to someone...

" I mean, besides me there is no one really to talk to"

The cloaked girl jumped a little before responding. "U-Umm... M-Maybe it's best we save introductions for later... H-He's a bit shy..."

"Uhm...okay..." answers Bricket slightly worried
he then looks back at Mara with a rather worrying but funny expression
softly he says: "Mara, please help..."

Daisy kept her ears pricked. "So... you wanted me to tell you some things, right?" she asked Bricket, then shut up because Bricket was talking to Cherri.

"Ibi's almost fully depleted. My awakening required a lot of aura, so Ibi and Valor only just had enough between them." She said, standing next to him.
Ibi tried to sit up, but their body was simply devoid of energy.

The cloaked figure sat up. "U-Umm... This one called 'Ibi'. Is she suffering of aura depletion? I-I can help with that..."

Bricket looks worried at Mara: "but Ibi will be allright?"
"No, you can say what you want to say Daisy, we've got a long journey ahead of us and if we keep going at the current pace we will be there in 2 days. So go ahead and do your speech."
Bricket then looks at Daisy

Daisy glanced over at Ibi, then touched his forehead. "Let me help with that," she said, her eyes glowing slightly as she channeled a strange energy into Ibi, giving him enough stamina to at least move around like a normal person. As she did so, she used both hands to channel the energy, and a similar pink light shone out from her midriff.

The cloaked girl then returned her focus to riding her horse, but not before quickly pulling a berry from under her cloak and eating it. Guess this is better than travelling alone... A-After all... I'm umm... less of a target this way..."

There isn't a soul in this country who can stop me... Find Nishjin and bring him to me. He will make a great General. As for the other mages...
*Firefly leans forward from his throne*

*The guard looks up at firefly with confusion*
They were... Mage Companions. I need you to tell them I've reclaimed the throne to "save" the people... Before they get here and find out the truth....

As the aura flowed into Ibi, they felt energy return to them. They sat up and stayed there for a moment.
"They'll be fine." Mara said. "They just need a long time to recover."

"Looks like Ibi will know what to do during the journey then"" jokes Bricket a bit.
"But Mara, before we arrive there; I do need to say some things and to put them clear..."

After a moment or two, Daisy let her hands drop and sat back, not bothering to cover her midriff this time as the light faded to a small glow. With the intensity gone, the source of the light, a strange, oval shaped pink gem that seemed to be lodged in the wolf's navel, could be clearly seen. "It intensifies when I use some abilities," the wolf said, flushing a bit. "Also, that's not a piercing. That's actually part of me." Daisy grinned sheepishly. "I'm not exactly from this planet."

Daisy blinked and turned her head, looking at the firefly. "... You know," she said to the wagon in particular, "I maybe should've taken that a touch slower than I did."

"Guys... I think there may be someone waiting for us up north..."

*A swarm of fireflies surround the group - faint sound of horses galloping in the near distance*

Mara looked around and let her power flow through her claws, disintegrating the fireflies around the group. "Ok, I absolutely know who's following us now."

Daisy sighed. "Well, whoever it is, they're about to lose some minions," she said, closing her eyes and starting to mumble something.

"No," Daisy replied, holding her hands out. "Everyone get down," she muttered to the people in the cart.

The girl stopped her horse and got off, turning to the guards. "Please. We are humble merchants wishing to make sale within your kingdom." She prepared her aura for some earth manipulation.

Mara looked at the guards. "We're friends of the King." She was under the impression that she was lying, but in reality, she wasn't too far from the truth.
Ibi was able to move, but they would be out of combat for a while.

We know you're all magic users, the fireflies led us to you. Our king has told us to tell you that the North has been saved and you must turn back. Our king is busy assembling a... preparing to rebuild the kingdom and doesn't have time to deal with powerful mages.
*the guard says almost slipping up*

Walking out of the tavern, Nishjin stretches out. 'I slept WAAAAAY too long.'
Suddenly, a firefly lands on his shoulder.
"Firefly? Is that you?"
Nishjin sees a group of soldiers heading towards him.
He hums to himself, "Fu- this crap, I'm out..."
Flying off, he wonders why the soldiers were there...
'Guess you might've been right, bud.'

"Your king is mistaken. I am but a child." Cherri pulls back her hood to reveal at 15 year old black feline with blue eyes. "We could not be the mages he is speaking of."

*The guards are looking at each other with confusion at the 15 year old feline*
Guard 1: There's no way this kid's a mage look at'em
Guard 2: We has direct orders! You know the punishment for breaking an order!
Guard 1: The rest of'em might be mages but surely we can let this kid come back
Guard 2: No! We have orders, None of them are coming. I don't care how old they are

Guard 2: We will respectfully ask you one last time to turn back. These are direct orders from.... King Firefly.
*the 20 guards Looking at the mages - holding the hilts of their swords*

*Firefly sits in his throne - holding a little firefly on his finger - starts talking to it*
It appears I've found my old mage friends. I truly wish I could let them into my kingdom... but they'll try and stop me. They wont understand that I'm trying to restore the North to its rightful glory. After Malric oppressed us for decades we deserve this! The North deserves to rule again! Like it did in the stories my mother told me when I was a pup... Long live the king
*Firefly's eyes now have big black circles around them from lack of sleep - The wolf slowly starts to spiral into darkness*

Nishjin flies overhead as he sees what looks like Mara and the group, along with that one figure, facing off with a bunch of guards.
He listens in on their conversation...
"...direct orders from... King Firefly"
Nishjin's eyes nearly pop out of his head. He had to get to Whitecrest, and fast...
Firefly could NOT be allowed to conquer that town, but it was the first logical step in dominating the North.
"Oh, god, Firefly... What are you doing?"
Nishjin heads full speed towards the castle where Firefly would be.

Cherri panicked slightly. What would the master do...? That's a dumb question... The feline channeled her aura into both her palms, but stood back just in case the group had any other ideas.

Nearing the castle, Nishjin flew past the guards out front, using a boulder as a battering ram to get through the front doors.
He approached the throne room, wondering if that's where he would be.
"Firefly! We need to talk!"

Mara let the Aether flow into her palms. "You don't want to get in my way, do you? I am the one who killed Malric - without injury, by the way. You think twenty blades can hurt me?" Her voice grew cold as she stepped forward alone. "Ibi, hide the young one's face. I don't want her to see this..."
Ibi gestured for Cherri to come closer.

(I'd just like to interject here, I technically dealt the final blow to Malric, before he detonated his atom bomb of energy.)

Cherri gladly turned and moved towards Ibi. Once close enough she whispered, "She's going to kill them, isn't she?"

(But, I tricked him into giving me his power and ended him quicker, outsmarting him AND not allowing him to detonate the bomb. If I hadn't been a ray of hope to him, he may have blown it up prematurely. XD )

"So, what happened to your armour? It's all dark now."

My armour? Don't worry about it. It's only armour after all, who cares what colour it is? I don't.
*Firefly laughs*

*The wolf smiles showing all his white teeth*

Ray, who was sitting peacefully in the wagon, heard the sound of steel being drawn, and his ear twitched. The wind suddenly began whipping through the trees, and the blades of each guard's sword fell, cut off from the hilt. "Please, this is a peaceful voyage. We've no need to turn to savagery."

Nishjin looks around nervously, hoping Firefly wouldn't overreact.
"If I'm going to be your general, can I ask one condition? "

Giant, crimson wings sprung out from behind Mara. "Turning my back would make little difference. Your blades mean nothing to us. Let. Us. Through." She snarled, her eyes glowing red and a dark cloud collecting at her feet.

"Well, I just wanted to know if we could skip over Whitecrest..."
"I mean, we'll already have the rest of the North, that small town doesn't matter, right?"

Ray smiled, and turned to Mara. "They are letting us through, miss. No need for violence."

(I'd once again like to interject, simply to point out that the names "Guard 1" and "Guard 2" aren't the most creative names. xD )

Almost as soon as the various fearful characteristics showed, they faded and Mara turned to Ray and spoke in a sweet voice. "I know, I just kinda wanted to do that. Aether's pretty active so I need to keep using it."

Cherri sighed, not being too big of a fan of violence. "I-I'm j-just glad that we umm... d-didn't have to harm them..."

Of course I'll skip Whitecrest. With 10'000 wolves we'll have the whole country under our paws. North, South, East, West, We'll reclaim all of it. You can keep whitecrest. We have 100 million leagues of land to bury our flags in. Surely we can spare... One town.
*Starts laughing*

Despite not being able to see his eyes, Ray cast a critical look at Mara. "You shouldn't play with power, miss. Things like that...change people. Total power corrupts totally. I don't doubt your resolve, but this is still a word of warning."

'Told you this would happen.'
'Of course you did. You're a pair of magic nunchucks that talk inside my head. Why wouldn't you?'
Nishjin realizes that Firefly is standing there, waiting for his answer.
Clearing his throat, Nishjin smiles and says, "Then let's do it. I'll be your General."

General, Nishjin. By nightfall tomorrow our great army will be assembled. Everything Malric did to pollute this kingdom will be washed away... I will cleanse this nation, shape it into my image. This is a new dawn, dear friend... The age of the North has only begun.
*Firefly stands up from his throne - puts his black helmet on - looks out of a window watching blocks of soldiers march by*

'Firefly, you've turned into a Malric who is lying to himself about why he's conquering the North. I'm disgusted to be considered your ally.'
"So where should we start?"
'So, what city should we terrorize until they surrender?'
Nishjin sighs, thinking for a second.
"If I had a town to conquer first, it would be Hallenguard. But if you wanted to go big, we could attack the metropolis of Verdantium, and possibly scare the surrounding towns into submission."

Mara didn't wait for the group. She walked straight into the city and headed toward the castle.

'I feel a strong presence of Aether approaching. Mara's here, you should leave.'
'Of course she is...'
"Well, Your Majesty, I'm going to go find a place to stay. I'll see you tomorrow."
Nishjin purposely uses the back entrance of the Castle, and flies to Mara before she arrives.
"Mara! You made it! Uh, can I ask you a favor?"

Mara seemed apprehensive at first, but still stopped for a moment. "Yeah? What is it?"

"Don't hurt Firefly, please... He's gone a bit, well, off the deep end."
Shifting his weight nervously, he adds, "For certain reasons, I'm going to be fighting on his side of the fight, but I want you to know that I'm sorry for anything that I do to you."
Apprehensively, he asks again, "So will you spare him?"

Mara's gaze fell. "If he threatens the lives of any of my allies, I will not hesitate." She said. "I will spare him if he surrenders, but as far as I know, he's not Te new Corrmage yet, so he shouldn't be that powerful."
Pausing for a moment, she added. "Join us again, or I might do the same to you... I get rated involved in battle, and if I kill one of you, the other is sure to follow."

Seriously considering her offer, Nishjin shakes his head.
"He's sparing the town in which my family lives... Although they've come to resent me over the years, I can't risk him killing them in a conquest attempt."
"But I'll give you this: He's most likely going to attack the nearby city of Verdanium. You may want to tell them to get defenses up."

Mara shook her head. "We need to go see him now. Take me as your prisoner. I'll work from the inside." She offered her hands to him.

(No, he went to sleep, so that won't work. XD )
"No, he'd probably just order you to be killed. Besides, he'd get suspicious if I brought all of you in single handedly..."
Nishjin sighs, continuing, "I don't see how we're going to get through this, but I know his intentions are good. He's trying to undo Malric's work, but making it worse."
Breaking down, Nishjin starts crying. "It's my fault, Mara... MY FAULT! I-if it hadn't been for me helping Malric, Firefly wouldn't be doing this, and my family wouldn't be in danger. It's... all my fault..."

Hearing Nishjin crying, Cherri hopped off of her horse and walked over to him. "Is everything ok Mister?"

Widening his eyes, Nishjin sees someone moving towards him.
"Is everything okay, Mister?", she asks.
Shaking his head, he wipes his face on the grass, effectively ridding himself of the tears on his face.
"Yes, I'm fine. Who are you? Are you with Mara?"

Nishjin suddenly sees a guard in the distance.
"Uh, I have to go. I'll see you later, I guess..."
Floating in the air, he shoots off in the other direction of the guard, towards a tavern.
'So, what are you going to do?'
'I dunno... I'll figure it out, though.'
'You should go back to Mara and talk to her. She had something to say.'
'This is the closest tavern to the castle, as well as the only place in town that will have enough room to house them all. We'll meet again."

"Where is she going to?" mumbled he to himself.
He felt becoming tired but yet he continued with making sure everyone would get there on time.
But yet he knew that he couldn't keep going like this any longer
"If someone wants to take over, please do" says he to the group

Ray climbed into the front seat, and smiled. "I'll take over for you."

Bricket looks rather surprised at Ray
"Uhm Ray, no harsh feelings but uhm, don't you need well...vision to drive a wagon?"

Ibi called out to the front of the wagon. "I can if you want, you may need to hang around though - I'm still tired."
Mara didn't turn back. She just kept walking to the castle and eventually found herself at the entrance.

Ray's brow furrowed, scrunching the blindfold slightly. "I can see, not in the common sense, but I can see well enough. The very air we breath shows me all that I need to see. And more, if I let it." He then held out his paw.

Ibi seemed impressed. "You might have to show me how to do that sometime, Ray..."

Bricket looked at Ibi
"Look, you're tired and you need your rest so take it easy on."
He then moved aside for Ray
"Well, I've kinda seen it all today. Just don't crash the wagon; Ray"

Ray nodded, and took the reigns. He moved the cart a little faster, trying to close the distance between the group and Mara.

Bricket stood up and walked a bit to the back and sat in front of Ibi
"So, explain me: what's going on between me and Mara?"

Mara stood at the entrance of the castle, waiting for the gates to open. "I wish to see the King." She called out, trying to seek the attention of the guards.
Ibi smiled at Bricket. "That's for you to decide, buddy. She seems to like you a lot, though."

*A dozen guards notice Mara and surround her - unsheathing their swords*
Guard 1: By order of the king, there will be no visitors. Leave now!
Guard 2: Only General Nishjin is allowed to see the king!
Guard 1: If you don't leave, We'll sound the alarm!
*The Castle gate remains closed - Archers can be seen on the top of the battlements*

"I know, I just wanted to know more. But bottom line is: she could have picked someone better."
Bricket slowly closes his eyes but still paying attention to his surroundings

Mara raised her hands, lowering her gaze. "You don't want to try and stop me. If you don't take me to the King, I'll go without you."
There were telltale signs of her conjuring her power.

*the guards laughed - the archers loaded arrows into their crossbows*
Guard 1: Listen girl, We're far more afraid of the king than we are of you. You can't scare us.
Guard 2: You better leave while you still can, we don't want to kill you. But we will. You better turn back
*The guard in the front raises his arm - ready to signal the archers to shoot*

Once more, giant Crimson wings flared out from behind Mara as her eyes went dark red. Her voice was cold enough to chill even the hottest fires. "Let. Me. In." She snarled.

*The guards in the back began to run away with fear - the guard in the front signaled with his arm for the archers to shoot - The archers on the battlements released their arrows at Mara*
Guard 1: Kill the intruder! Don't let her into the castle! Protect the King!

"Why me, she could have had so much better people for her.." mumbles Bricket as he slowly dozes of.
He lets his bag drop on the floor when he falls asleep and starts dreaming

Ray heard the bag hit the floor of the wagon, and slowed to a near halt. "Should I stop?"

Bricket slowly wakes up when Ray says something
"uhm wait what? uhm, no w'ere good..." is he saying half sleepy.
He immediatly dozes of again and starts dreaming with flashbacks from the past

Ray shook his head, and reigned the horses in. "No, we stop for now. You guys need to rest."

Mara had used her Aether wings to protect herself from the projectiles, but hadn't seen one ricochet and fly even further - directly towards the wagon. She sent an orb of Aether flying straight into the main gate, blowing it open as she stormed inside. As she went through the gate, her wings seemed to phase through the walls on either side - but they had carved long holes in the stone and the walls collapsed behind her.
Ibi saw the arrows loosed at Mara. They watched as she wrapped her giant wings around herself. They crawled out the front of the wagon, as quickly as they could. "Get in the wagon, arrows are fl- uurgh" Their warning came too late as a stray arrow pierced their shoulder, poking out just under their collarbone. The pain was enough for the exhausted hybrid that they collapsed again, blood dripping onto the floor of the wagon.

Ray blinked, and shouted out. "Mara! You don't know what you're doing!" He pulled the cart into cover, and jumped to the back to treat Ibi.

Brickets dreams about his past with vivid flashbacks.
Others can se him struggling in his sleep but because of the dreams he starts using his powers without knowing.
They could see slow water spikes forming in the wagon...
He shoots awake from the noises
"What's going on?!"

*Firefly looks up from his throne - He perks his ears as an explosion is heard inside the castle*
It looks like we have visitors....
*the wolf smiles*

Ray felt the spikes dig into his feet, but ignored the pain, lifting Ibi off of the wagon floor. "Control yourself, sir! You're hurting others!" He then turned his attention to Ibi. "Where did the arrowhead stop?"

(Well, time to finally do something. @-@ Are you guys British, by any chance?)
Daisy saw the arrows flying and sighed. "Screw this," she muttered, her eyes and gem starting to glow again. Holding out her hand, the wind started whipping around the battlements at rapid speeds, preventing the guards from firing any more arrows. "So... who's staying and who's going after the lady who just phased through the wall of the castle?" she asked. "Also, can I just say that your strategy sucks?"

Mara broke open the main doors to the castle and made her way to the throne room. Any guards she saw, she stared into their eyes and scared them off reasonably quickly.
Ibi groaned and guided Ray's paw to their shoulder, the arrowhead vanishing beneath fur and flesh. It was going to really hurt when it came out, and they were not looking forward to it.

Ray furrowed his brow, and set Ibi down. "Well...this is going to hurt." Instead of pulling the arrow out, Ray pushed the arrowhead through Ibi's shoulder, broke the fletching off, and pulled the rest of the arrow through. Ray closed his eyes, removed his blindfold, and bandaged the wound.

Daisy sighed. "Who needs to be taken out so that you guys are safe here?" she asked, straight to the point.

Bricket saw the chaos going on
"Not again, not all of this again..."
He is slowly going in a mode no one has ever seen before
"Why is everyone trying to hurt or kill?!" starts he shouting
He gets out of the wagon and was walking towards the castle
"I've had enough of it," he looks up to the guard, "And you're all going to pay for it!"
His eyes turn white and he rises his arms up lifting ice spikes from the ground
He then shoots them of the ground impaling the guards
"ALL OF YOU, JUST DIE!"
Spikes and darts are flying everywhere hitting every guard he could see, slowly he also starts breaking the wall with the earth element.
"HIDE, BECAUSE YOU CAN'T ESCAPE!"

Daisy blinked. "You know, maybe I was wrong to refer to you as 'the good guys'," she said. "A lot of the people here seem completely nuts." Shrugging, she made the winds stronger. "Will you two be okay here?" she asked Ibi and Ray.

Bricket looked at Daisy
"I never said I was the good guy"

((The wagon got moved into cover, as Mara charged the castle. Bricket went nuts and is joining Mara in the siege.))

"cher take the robes of so i can get out and do something! people are getting killed and you are in danger!" said shoon in a less quiet and furious voice.

Daisy nodded. "Right... Cloaked one, are you staying or going?" she asked Cherri.
(...Wait, what the H? o-o Shoon, have you been under there the whole time?)

"U-Ummm... J-Just a second!" She quickly turned around and looked down at her cloak, speaking quietly. "A-Are you sure...? M-Maybe we should stay out of this one..."

"i will do what you think is right, but people are dying" shoon said in an angry but calm tone.

Cherri sighed and looked around. She didn't know anyone in the group enough to trust them. Shoon was making a good point by saying that people were dying. But, Cherri couldn't tell if people were dying for a good cause or not. Processing all this at once took it's toll on the teenager and she crouched down, digging her claws into her head. "I don't know... I-I... I-I don't know...!"

"darn it" shoon said as water started flowing from Cherris robes and forming a defensive ice sphere around her. " dont worry, your fine and safe now, dont panic, you traind for this" shoon said on a loud but calm and comforting tone.

"S-Shoon I... I just don't want the wrong people dying.... again..." She sobbed into her cloak. "I-I know... I can h-handle myself... b-but.... W-Who is to say w-we aren't k-killing innocent...?"

"they are guards, they are here to kill or be killed, and who said you cant just subdue them? seal them in cages of stone. you need to remember we are only here to defend".

She looked up at the ice dome around her and sniffed. "Y-Yeah... S-Subdue them... Your right..." She shakily stood up and ran a paw against the sphere. "T-Thank you Shoon..."

"you are most welcome" shoon said as the dome was deforming from behind her to front with water that was making the sphere running on her hand to from a ice statue of a wingless dragon behind her.

She turned and quickly kissed the cheek of the dragon before smiling and turning to Daisy. "U-Umm... W-We've agreed to help you guys... I'll do m-my best... B-But I won't k-kill anyone..."

Mara stood in the throne room, waiting for Firefly to speak.
Ibi sat in the wagon, unable to do much other than offer verbal support to the others.

Daisy nodded, swishing her long tail. "Right... You said something about stone cages?" she asked. "I could knock them down and you could trap them."

Cherri shyly smiled. "Y-Yeah... A-About that... I-I'm not really the best with rocks... and stuff... I-I can improvise though...!" she said walking close to Daisy. "O-Oh, w-where are my manners? I-I'm Cherri... Cherri Blitz... And that's my best friend, Shoon..."

Ibi called out from the wagon. "I'm Ibi, nice to meet you!"

"Daisy," Daisy replied, offering Cherri her tail to shake as a hand. There were silver hoops through the fluffy bit near the end. "Nice to meet you. There's another person you might meet, but... well, we'll save that bridge for later."

Cherri reluctantly shook the tail. "It's nice to m-meet b-both of you..." It was at that moment, Cherri remembered what was wrong with Ibi. "O-Oh!" She said as she turned to the wagon. "W-Was it you t-that is out of c-commission...?"

Ray suddenly pulled Ibi from the wagon, shouting at the others. "Move! Now!" A quiet thunk barely reached the group, but Ray had sensed a sudden, violent shift of air.

Daisy shook back. Surprisingly, it was almost like a real handshake, since the strange wolf's tail was actually quite prehensile. "Charmed. And yes, he's been a bit drained ever since the previous battle..." Daisy dodged whatever-it-was with surprising skill, grabbing Bricket and his bag as well and pulling them with her.

As soon as Ray shouted to move, Cherri formed a wooden shield in front of her, taking the hit for her. It knocked her back, but she wasn't hurt much besides a graze from her landing. She slowly got up and muttered "Ow, ow, ow..."

Three massive arrows, what were little more than tree trunks fitted with iron points, smashed through the corner of the building Ray and Ibi were hiding near, tossing the two to the ground. Another slammed into Cherri's shield, and the third crashed into the cobblestones, tossing quite a few into the air. Ray recovered, and shouted shakily. "B-Ballistas! We c-can't stay here!"

Cherri rushed over to Ray, tossing him a small pouch. "Give these to Ibi. They're special medicinal berries. He should only need one to get him back onto his feet, but if he needs more, use them sparingly. The trees only bear fruit once every 3 years..."
((The berries come from a very certain bush, and can heal small wounds and cures some sicknesses. She eats them occasionally in order to maintain her health.))

Ray caught the bag, and gave Ibi one of the berries, though had some trouble finding the injured fur in the commotion.

Ibi was on the ground - again... In a cloud of dust. They used their good arm to try and get to their feet, but saw that one of the giant arrows had pierced their cloak and was pinning them to the ground. "Guys... I'm stuck! Help!"

"Oh jeez..." Cherri looked at the balistas as they geared up for another shot. "Looks like it's time to get serious... Ugh... I wish I had spent some time meditating before hand..." The feline threw off her cloak, revealing her cloathing beneath. She was actually fairly well clothed, wearing a black dress with a skirt that covered down below her knees. She began channelling her aura, connecting both her palms together and closing her eyes. The trees here... their roots are long dead... but I can bring them back... Just need... a little time...

Ray whipped his paw horizontally across the cloth, staying well clear of Ibi, and the cloth split in two. Ray then picked up the prostrate fur, and pulled him along. "We gotta keep moving! Everyone! Here comes another volley!"

the ice statue ran to cherris side "cher i need water for a new protctive wall and manupulation" shoon said then turning to daisy "hello i think i can trap them i just need a ton of water" shouted the ice statue to daisy.

Cherri grunted slightly, and placed both her palms into the ground. "Grow!" The earth beneath her began shaking violently, and massive trees began sprouting from the ground, forming a large and thick protective barrier between the balistas and the group. After using the spell though, Cherri collapsed, panting very heavily. She nearly used up all of her aura casting the spell, and desperately neeeded some rest.

shoon ran to cherris side, picked her up, and ran towards ray. "keep her safe, her aura is nearly depleted" shoon said as he placed her near ray and ibi.
he ran back ad stood by daisys side "so can you conjur up some water?".

Ibi's wings were now visible from under the torn cloak, but they didn't bring them out. Picking up Cherri and seeking refuge behind the wall of trees, they called out to Ray. "Hurry up! They're about to hit!"
Several of the giant arrows pierced directly through the trees, but none hit Ibi or Cherri.

Daisy sighed. "No... But I can do this." Pulling a long, curved sword out of seemingly nowhere, the wolf's back tattoos began to glow faintly. "You might want to stand back."

Raz had been left behind at the Temple and decided to go inside to Archmage Valor, "Archmage Valor? They left me behind, mind if you do that thing to make me the new Archmage Justice?"

Shoon steps back 3 steps and said "well, how will you fight arrows with a sword?".

Name: Dubaku
Species: African Wild Dog
Element: Earth, Mastery in Lava/Magma and volcanic rock, only basic control of earth and fire separately.
Background: Dubaku was born within a giant volcano on a tropical island. Since childhood, his father taught him Yoyu-Jutsu, among many other martial arts involving the usage of Molten earth. During his early adolescent days, since he was born on an island, the ocean was never far away, so he crafted a large, multipurpose surfboard/greatsword from Obsidian infused with his own aura. His mother taught him arts such as Yoyu-Hoju, how to use the essence of the earth to heal and replenish himself, and to help him endure and persevere, as well as how to replenish his supply of Molten Earth. While he has many replenishing techniques at his disposal, he must be careful as to not come in contact with water while it is active, as it will extinguish the heat and nullify the replenishing properties, bringing his muscles to a sore state. The only place where this would be countered is of course near or within a volcano or geothermally active sight where lava is plentiful.

Mara stepped forward. "Invasion is not the right way. You're doing exactly what Malric was doing, thinking you have it all figured out." Her head tilted down as her eyes went almost black, void of emotion. "You share one fatal flaw, however..."
Aether was almost dripping from her hands.

*Firefly puts his paw on the hilt of his sword - slowly backing up*

Mara stepped closer, laying a hand on Firefly's armour. "Deep down, in your heart of hearts... You don't really want this."

*Dubaku sauntered about the town, noticing the large arrows soaring over him, hearing every loud crack and crumble as they impacted the temple, These chaotic noises accompanied by the quaking footsteps of the thousands of soldiers approaching* I suppose now's as good a time for a diversion as any... *he got down on one knee and placed his palms firmly on the ground* Jishin-kan *he silently muttered to himself as he formed a small pool of molten rock and sent it tunneling toward the approaching fleet* Kanbotsu! *he had the molten rock dissolve the subsiding rock, forming a massive pit under a large patch of ground in the fleet's path* And now to wait...

*Firefly backed away - A very large Silver imprint was left on Firefly's dark armour where mara touched him - The wolf's face became sad again- looking down at the silver imprint*

*Dubaku ran and threw down his greatsword, the magma serpent carried it along the ground as he hopped atop the hulking sword and rid it all the way back to the temple, starting to have doubts if any of the soldiers fell into the trap*

*Firefly didn't say a word - he looked back a mara - his eyes filled with emotion - his shoulder armour began to turn silver where mara touched him - The wolf slumped back into his throne and covered his eyes as tears rolled down his face - Realizing what he was about to do - his over exhaustion nearly driving him to insanity*

*the army noticed Dubaku - ignoring his shouting - They continue to march toward the castle*

Mara held Firefly close, hugging him. "It's not too late to call off the attack..."

Cherri barely mustered the strength to pull a berry from her bag and pop one in her mouth. After taking a deep breath and shaking her head she slowly got to her feet... "Ugh... W-Woah!" and then collapsed again. "Ow...."

*Dubaku made it to the temple entrance, the molten serpent seeped into his sword* Hello! Anybody home?! I'm not sure if you're aware but a massive Army is marching to this very palace! I was hopefully able to slow them down! But we need to form a defensive blockade! Anybody! *he shouted as he rushed inside the temple* Yo! *He looked around, seeing parts of it destroyed* Dammit!

The feline barely managed to get herself standing upright. I... I need to use another berry... But I don't want to use too many... After contemplating her choice for a few seconds, Cherri ate another berry and recovered. She still was gonna need some time before she could use magic again, but hand-to-hand combat could work for now.

Flying out of the tavern, Nishjin quickly spots the army approaching.
"Halt! I am General Nishjin. Everyone lay down your weapons, the King has decided not to attack today!"
One of the army, obviously a Commander by his attire, says, "What reason would the King have to stop the attack?"
Nishjin doesn't miss a beat, saying, "If you have a problem with it, take it up with the King. Anyone have any more objections?"
Everyone was silent. "Alright, go back to your homes and camps until further notice!"

(I dunno, just assume valor told Raz to go check out the north kingdom for day, I dunno, something for some ritual)

Ray was standing in the middle of the road, several ballista bolts buried deep in the earth around him, the raccoon's arms were crossed in front of himself, and he glowed a very deep purple. "K-Keep...K-Keep shootin'...I-I-I dare you." As if on command, another bolt flew straight at Ray. The raccoon dropped his paws, and the bolt split in two, landing harmlessly on either side of him.

(Right. Not to be a buzzkill or everything, but you can't all be Savior Whatisface or whatnot. It would really be a lot better if we all worked together for a common goal.)
Daisy set to work distracting the ballista crews with strong winds from a distance, hoping it would stop them from firing long enough for someone to actually come up with a plan. "So.... Are you guys actually gonna work together, or have you chosen to be divided and killed?" she asked over her shoulder. "Because it's looking like the second one unless you're done measuring penises." Sighing as the ballista bolts kept firing, the strange wolf decided to aim for the bolts instead of the ballistas, hoping to knock them off balance with the strong winds. She was holding back for now because, at this point, she had no idea who else they were going to be fighting and thus did not want to be utterly useless in a massive battle.

"i cant do much without water,but i think i have a plan!" shoon shouted in daisys direction. "cher lets get on the horse and go to a river, i will get as much water as i can" shoon said in a asking tone to cherri.

bricket was slowly wrecking the walls of the castle and killing every guard he encountered.
"Where are you, you traitor?" was he mumbling on an angry tone to himself.
He noticed a closed door with a guard in front of it
"Do you want to end up like your friends? Or do you want to go home?" Asks Bricket when forming a dart to launch at the guard
"H.-ho-home...please" says the guard in a rather scared tone
"Then you move out of the way and you open the door." responds Bricket
However the guard was already running away
'tsss, no good personel to find there days'
A giant block of stone is forming and smashes through the wooden door.
Bricket casually walks through it to see Mara and Firefly together
"YOU!" shouts he to Wolf
"YOU TRAITOR! I SHOULD HAVE LET YOU DYING ON A PIECE OF ICE!" he keeps walking to Wolf
"MARA, MOVE OUT OF THE WAY! I AM GOING TO END IT HERE AND NOW!"

Daisy nodded. "I'll keep you covered," she said. starting to use her sword to conduct the winds to a greater speed, messing up the ballista bolts' trajectories further.

Ray stepped over to Daisy, and spoke softly. "D-Do you think...we could redirect the shots back to the shooters?" He was exhausted, but still had some fight in him.

Daisy grinned. " Not directly, but maybe with some maneuvering...." Waving her sword like a baton, Daisy managed to capture the next volley of bolts in miniature cyclones and sent them spiralling back towards the balistas which fired them.

Meanwhile in town...
Steele wandered into the tavern and pulled up a stool. A burly bartender appeared from the back room holding a pitcher.
"'ey, what brings you here?".
Steele looked up.
"Impending war doesnt do shit for my sanity".
The bartender crooned over the wooden table and peered directly into Steele's eyes, with a serious glare.
"Well ya can't escape it. None of us can. It's a chaotic time and you can't let it consume ya, right?", he put the pitcher on the counter, wandered to the backroom and brought out a wet rag. "There's a time and place for everything. Right now it's a time for war, and soon there will be a time for peace".
Steele's line of vision followed the rhythmic sweeping of the rag against the wooden counter, distracting him from his inner conflict.
"Well it's calm here, there will always be pockets of peace, pockets to distract from the chaos".
(OOC: I haven't RPed since 2011 so I'm pretty rusty, trying not to interfere with the main story until I actually know what's going on)

Ray pushed the bolts even more accurately to their originators, and the massive arrows decimated the three ballistas. He smiled, and turned to Daisy, a paw outstretched.

"There aren't any nearby bodies of water large enough to take out the balistas... Not unless we go all the way to the castle. But... M-Maybe you could sap the moisture from the trees..." Cherri moved over to Daisy, ready to lend as much of a hand as she could.

"ok then, do your best" shoon said and began to run touching everything that could have water in it, all the trees grass and everything creating trails of water that are following him.

Ray shouted to Shoon and Cherri. "W-We got the ballistas guys. We've g-got other things to attend to."

*Firefly looks up at Bricket putting his helmet on - eyes filled with hatred - He draws his sword and ignites it - Pointing it at Bricket*

Cherri suddenly got a bad gut feeling and winced as she lightly rubbed her belly. She felt like something bad was about to happen. But the feline dismissed it for now. "W-What can I do to help...?"

Ray sighed, and sat down. "G-Go attend to the others behind the building, by the wagon." He then laid down, his vision going black. "I'm...too tired to even see."

*Dubaku stepped onto his greatsword, the magma seeped out and surrounded it, beginning to carry it forward, he surfed through the town along the ground, heading towards the ballistas, dodging the projectiles*

Mara stood between Bricket and Firefly, holding the Aether in all of her hands. "No blood will be spilled unless you force my hand. That, I will promise you."
Ibi had made their way into the castle and was about to enter the throne room.

"Mara, it's time I do something back for the North"
Bricket forms a sword of ice
"But trust me, I do know what I am going to do".
He looks then at Firefly
"Who is here the idiot Wolf? The person who wants to finish his job, or the person who wants to fight someone who is pretty good in the water element in the land of Water and Ice?"
Bricket starts laughing
"I should have let you there, ready for Malric to kill; I've should have let you die with that piece of ice around your throat."

*Firefly barks at Bricket*
Shut your mouth, Let your sword do the talking! If this is where you wish to die so be it.
*Firefly snaps his fingers and sets the walls on fire - the room begins to fill with smoke*

*Firefly's sword burning brighter with flame*

In no time, Raz got to the castle and landed on the roof of it and the stone beneath him cut a perfect circle and he began desecding, falling down on the stone with each level, making a loud bang as he got closer and closer to the throne room, bits of stone crumbling onto the throne,
"Ugh, down one floor, er, uh sorry ladies.", the women screamed then slapped him and he immediately went down another floor, "Hallway. Hallway. Uh... not even going to question this. Hallw-wait, I think I can hear yelling...", Dust had now formed above the throne.

Bricket ducks and adds water to the smoke to make it some kind of smoggy mist.
he shouts "Wolf, listen up: everything is surrounded by ice and water. You're not going to win this one. Surrender, that's the same thing I would do if I was outpowered."

Raz does make the hole, but doesn't get past the last floor, he then lifts up the stone and moves it aside, able to see what's going on, "What the hell have they gotten into in that short time? Bricket! Let me through the barrier!", he yells, trying to get Bricket's attention.

"Well, I'm just gonna dig more holes", Steele sighed, standing up.
"Are you gonna order something?", the bartender asked. Steele shook his head and walked out the door. The pungent scent of smoke flooded his nostrils. It wasn't at all overpowering, probably quite faint to the untrained nose. He glanced up the hill to the thick grey-ish cloud hovering over the ground. Yesterday it was a castle, strong and luminous in the sunlight.

*Firefly shoots a fireball at the ceiling - It begins to collapse - The Wolf runs up the stairs behind the throne to the top of a battlement tower*

shoon finishd gathering as much water as he can and he stood in his place with water gathering in a pool around him "cher come over here!" shoon shouted to cherri.

Bricket hears Raz
"GET OUT OF HERE, he is going to selfdestruct him" shouts Bricket to Raz.
slowly he walks to Mara with pieces of ceiling falling next to him
"Mara, he is never going to surrender, he might be good; but it's too late for him. He doesn't want to go back."
He has tearful eyes: "you know, I really started to like that Wolf guy...but if he doesn't want to reconsider his actions..."
"anyway, it's time you go outside and do what you have to do... I am going to end it here and now."
Bricket walks to the staircase with pieces of ceiling falling everywhere.
"Sorry Wolf, I am so sorry..." He grabs a the pilar of the staircase and starts weakening untill it starts crumbling
'I need to make sure it collapses with him.'
The pilar starts crumbling more and more untill it begins collapsing with Firefly somewhere in it.
"Mara, Raz; both of you: RUN NOW!"

Daisy looked around at all the chaos, too stunned for a moment to even do anything. ".... Idiots," she muttered, picking Ray up as a huge pair of celestial wings spread out from her back, seeming to phase through her shirt. Moving quickly, she carried Ray into whatever town Les was in, growling in annoyance at Dubaku as the flame wielder surfed through a populated town on a wave of lava. Spying Les, she quickly landed and handed Ray to the Labrador Retriever. "He's tired, take care of him please," she said. "I'm going to go try to make sure that there's still a town left after all this showboating." With that, the wolf took off back towards the castle.

*Firefly stands at the top of the Tower - Watching the Sun come up - feeling the breeze against his fur - he snaps his fingers and spawns a single little firefly*
I've failed everyone. I thought I could fix this world. I thought I could make a difference... I was wrong. I became the very evil I swore to destroy... Why did this happen?
*The wolf says to the little firefly on his finger*
Well... I don't think it matters now. This is the end for us old friend...
*Hearing the castle slowly crumble - Firefly throws his helmet and sword off the side of the tower - he sheds a tear - the little firefly flies away*

As Daisy flew towards the castle, she saw the sun flash off Firefly's falling equipment from a long way away. "This is some incredibly silly business," she muttered, flying faster in hope that maybe no one else had to die. As she flew, she quickly put up walls of earth around the inhabitants, homes, and businesses of the village to protect them from the destructive wave of magma.

Raz followed Firefly, slashing the stone away from him as he chased him, and as he got to the top where Firefly was he slowly walked to them, "You haven't failed, by far you haven't, but if this castle come down, you'll be hurting more then you wanted to help, but if this is your decision, then I will forgive you for your crimes, but only if you promise to make it up for all of the lives you have ended. Don't think I didn't see your advances on my way here... please come down from there, Firefly."

*Dubaku rode his greatsword down the mountain, a trail of smouldering earth is left behind him, his gaze was firmly set on the castle as he continued to surf along the ground, he then saw a large piece of rubble angled to near perfection as a makeshift ramp* Why would I not? *He launched himself up off the ramp, letting out a loud, hearty "Wheeeeee!" as he flew over the crumbling castle wall and landed heavy on his feet, his sword landed in the ground tip-first, followed by a tail of molten rock*

Bricket his eyes turn back normal, he starts to feel his aura being almost depleted.
"Hey Wolf, " shouts Bricket as he is walking up on the collapsing staircase
"No magical escapes", he tries to keep walking up but feels being weakened
"No magical people to save us", every step he takes becomes more and more difficult
"It's just you", he smiles as he slowly gets up the tower to see Wolf standing there
"And me" says Bricket with a smile but then he collapses from having almost no aura left
Slowly the tower starts leaning to the right whilst slowly crumbling apart

Raz! Take Bricket to safety... I started this mess. I'll be damned if I'm not the one who pays for it.
*Firefly picks up Bricket and hands him to Raz - The wolf made a soft smile - his armour became fully silver again*

*Firefly says to Raz in a soft tone - another tear rolls down his face*

*Dubaku puts his arms out in disbelief* Of course nobody saw that! *he turns around to see walls of earth turned towards the smouldering trail his molten treads left behind, a thin coating stream only as wide as his sword* Sheesh, a little much, I never knew people were so afraid of a little lava. *he stood there, scratching his head* (I didn't summon a magma tsunami, only used up enough to fashion a means of gaining momentum)

Bricket being back on the ground wakes up
"what happened?" He looks up and sees Wolf still sitting on the tower
'hmmm, well if he wants to end like this he can...'
He slowly walks towards the wagon and grabs his bag.
When he stumbles past Ibi he says to her: "I am going back home, if Mara would ever come back to you and wants to follow me, show her this."
he hands Ibi a piece of a map with the destination of Bricket marked on, he then smiles and starts walking

*The wolf took one last look at the group and smiled - He sheds one last tear - then the castle collapsed with Firefly going down with it - The clouds open up and the sun shines through - The darkness has ended - A single little Firefly lands on Ibi's shoulder then flutters away*

Bricket was walking tired but determined to reach his goal he heard the tower collapse
"You dumb fool, you had your chance" Said Bricket to himself whilst walking.
He looked back again to see the group standing near the remains of the castle.
"Please Mara, forgive me for what I've done." mumbles to himself.
Knowing he killed a person he started to like and hurting a lot of people where some can be considered friends made him feel even worse.
'Well well well, aren't we bit surprised? The moment you can be the hero you kill people. You haven't changed did you?'
He looks down knowing what he has done, knowing he wasn't even better than Malric or other terrible people
'You're the same faillure as before, and will never change.'
A tear rolls down his face

Raz looked back to the rubble and rushed into the debris to where he thought Firefly was buried and started to dig, "Firefly! Firefly, where are you!?"

He looks up to see the sun slowly going behind the white mountains
"He would have loved this..." says Bricket whilst thinking of Firefly

"You genius...", slowly a soft smiles breaks Bricket his sad face..

Daisy landed, her wings dissipating as she looked around. "...Damn," she muttered, feeling simply stymied at all the events that had taken place.

Nishjin flies to the castle, seeing Firefly on the roof.
"Firefly! What are you doing?"

(Nish, we already passed that part. The castle collapsed and Firefly was burried under the rubble, and atm, Raz is digging through the rubble to find Firefly beneath it)
Raz continued to dig and dig, using his fire to form plasma blades to cut through the stone quicker

Mara and Ibi had seen the castle collapse. They looked at each other and knew exactly what had to happen. Mara set Ibi down and the two started walking out of the village, heading east, back to their home village. Mara turned and whispered "goodbye" before the two departed on their long journey home.

Raz gave up on trying to dig in the rubble, but had found a piece of Firefly's armor and then quickly made a cross, scratched 'Firefly' into it, and set the piece of armor down infront of it, and then flew off.
Raz then saw Ibi, whilst he was flying back to the temple with a bag of supplies that Valor asked for, he then landed next to Ibi and walked along with her, "Where're you going?"

Nishjin looks on in horror as Raz flies off.
He slowly backs away from the ruins and towards Whitecrest.
'I think... It's time to visit my family. My brother hasn't seen me in years, he may be a bit worried about me.'
(End of Nishjin's arc. Nada. Nil. Nope. Mostly because I suck at RP, but hey, if you make a new one, I'll join it. Maybe things will make more sense when I start at the beginning. Anyways, gnite guys.)

Bricket decided to sit down to relax a bit for the moment
He looked from the distance he came from hoping to see a familiar face but he doesn't
"Guess she decided I was indeed a terrible person" Bricket felt terrible after what happened but the fact the person where he started to care the most for didn't come from him hurts him the most.
"Bad people deserve bad things, you should have known that this would happen..."
He gets up and starts walking again wondering if Ibi passed the message to Mara

Daisy landed beside Cherri and Shoon, looking at the ruin of the castle. The earth walls near the village had been dropped. "...This isn't over yet, you know," she said. "This land is free of rulers now... Someone's going to rise up again." The strange wolf looked over at Cherri and smiled. "Some of us might as well stay on guard so we can gather the rest when that time comes."

OOC: I'm calling it here - this RP, as I had it planned, is well and truly over. Thank you to everyone who took part, I will likely make a closed one that works off a similar storyline, but with a more structured storyline. I'll leave this thread open in case others wish to start their own things, but try to -not- descend into chaos.
