I really don't know what the deal is here. :p
I guess is wasn't a big deal because it was a rather crummy gift.

Yeah, that's yet another one of IMVU's interpretations of appreciation I guess. (Did you not get one of those lame hot tubs for New Year's last year? THAT was lousy.)

But yeah, I got one too. And since IMVU was gracious enough to grant me the privilege to own one of these innovative machines, I'm totally motivated to develop more products.

....Laaaaame. They could have at least gave us something a little more Halloween-ish, since, from my understanding, they were suposed to be gifted on Halloween night.

If you had to put a sticker on your page to get it I likely have it.
They even gave me two of those IMVU street team stickers for when they had that Wii raffle.
I got the second one after it was over.

The Tiki Bar was, sadly, probably the best of their random gifts. But not by much.  :P

They seem to like throwing stuff at us so we'll sit down and stop complaining about their random policy changes like the obedient little doggies they want us to be. That's just my opinion, of course.  :snicker:

It's because of all that "complaining" that we get anything.
If not for all the feed back by dissatisfied members IMVU wouldn't care.
At least not the same way.

But yet I bought my name in November!!  I was still a User in October! I didn't develop anything till like mid November...

It's because they checked against who is a Developer and if those members were active,
not out of who was active was a developer.

Nah, it's probably to make it more "special" or exclusive or whatever. Of course, for all we know, it may be released later on, like a lot of the IMVU bundle items which were stated as being "only" available in the announced bundles. I don't really care anymore. I'm just going ignore IMVU's gifts until they can come up with something decent.  :yeah-yeah:
