Title: May 17th - International Day of Homophobia and Transphobia

Today is the day people are celebrating around the word to put an end to discrimination against the LGBTQIA+ community.

Since there are many members of TFF and the furry fandom as a whole who are a part of this community (including myself) I thought it would be nice to spread awareness for it.

Please no hateful comments or anything, we deserve at least one day to show the world that we deserve respect.  :)

I was so confused. I thought you meant today marked something anti-LGBTWTF  and was watching the video trying to figure out how you found it bigoted. XD

Yes, my Prime Minister addressed that today. Good stuff, I didn't know this celebration existed until earlier this morning.

To reply to Sandor:
I mean, I didn't hear about this either, and I am supposed to live in a part of the world where gay pride and various other sexual preferences is 'governmentally and publicly accepted' and stuff.
(Netherlands)
So I don't know if living in a country where it's 'open' or 'closed' to be of various sexualities has anything to do with the information being spread entirely. Though I will admit I can understand why some countries indeed wouldn't let this kind of information spread to begin with.

Thats interesting because my trips to Europe seemed like sexuality was very open and common, not only on streets but in televised and print ads as well. Why wouldnt the government want to spread that information when there are orange juice commercials featuring naked lesbians in places like Germany?
