Hi guys snufkin here and I want to buy a fur suit but I'm not rich so any tips or places I can go for suits for under 1000 $/£ :D

I got mine from here for less than £1000 :P

These are some of the other fursuits that they've made in the past ^_^

Sometimes you might also find great stuff within your price range at Furbuy.com

Seconding Furbuy/Furbid. I got my first partial off there for $300 a couple years ago and its still kickin' ^-^
Just remember, price = quality. There's a reason fullsuits go for upwards of $1000; the lower you go, the more you run the risk of things not fitting, falling apart, etc.

Both fursuits I have were not even close to 3000 Pounds or Dollars XD
One was made on commission, another was bought second-hand. The good things about the last one though, is that since the fursuit builder lives reasonably closeby, if there is anything wrong with it, I can drop by and she'll fix it x3 The suit has to be made a bit broader around the shoulder-area, because even though we were similar in size, I was still a bit bulkier around the shoulders :P
But it is true as Panda states: If you commission someone instead of buying it secondhand, you will have a better chance of it fitting you.
However, I don't know what you would like your fursuit too look like. Did you mention that price quote because you already asked several fursuit makers what the price would be?
I know some makers can be extremely expensive. And it's also the style you're going for.
What type of fursuit do you want? (Toony, semi- or completely realistic?)
And how does your fursuit look like?
This would be very helpful as well so others can give the name of their fursuit makers to you if it's a similar thing you're looking for :)

Thanks guys well the style I'm looking for is a toony plantgrade full suit

Awesome! ^^
Another thing that might help is to find any fursuit makers close to you, preferably in the same country. As soon as you are getting a fursuit from overseas (or just from another country), you also need to pay even more for the shipping costs.
If you're in the US, UK, Netherlands or Germany or even Scandanavia, there are quite a bunch of fursuit makers which you could look into.

Thanks for all of the tips

No problem :)
And if you need any specific fursuit maker websites, let me know x3
