I'm trying to customize an image for a concept and I cannot seem to do it myself with Gimp so i'm asking around

I'd like to change all the Red on this image to a blue but keep the shading , I'm
not exactly sure how to do that I have tried myself and only managed to change a few pixels.
This is definlty not my art ,but I'd still like to use it as a concept.

I used GIMP to just change the hue.

I used GIMP to just change the hue.
odd that's exactly the same program I was using to try but I got nowhere how did you do it color-->map-->hue?
-
l just used the paint tool with blue as the colour and hue as the mode.
-
so how did you change all the red to blue so fast?
-
Making the brush really big.
-
But how did you only change the red?
-
Grey has 0 saturation, so it changed the hue of the grey, just not the saturation.

I really need to learn how to use GIMP better :(

Greys have always confused me with their shenanigans too.
