Title: Attack Brussels

Today is a black chapter for my country.
We were attacked in our capital, Brussels, the airport and metro was bombed.
The deathtoll keeps rising and the terrorists threat is rather huge.

But it was also almost the date I died.
I had an appointment at the airport around 7 O'Clock, I had to stand basically in the middle of the blast radius.
Now, for some reason I didn't wake up on time something what normally never happens.

Well, I am good but the people who were there aren't and I pray/hope that they will overcome their injuries.

Terrible things happen in today's world... I'm glad to hear you're okay.
I'm not really religious but I hope that the victims will recover soon.

Far from Europe, but this is still horrible when I heard and thought about it, especially upon hearing your experience, I'm glad that you were not affected by the explosion.

It makes you wonder: how lucky can someone get?

I know I couldn't change a thing but yet I have for one of those extremely rare moments in my life the feeling of guilt, the feeling because
I had the luck to miss my appointment but others didn't, others were there and that gives me that feeling.

It good to hear you're ok mate, it's funny how those little inconvences can save you, I have an aunt and uncle that where ment to be on the trains during the 7/7 bombings in 2005 but my aunt was of sick and my uncle was away on a bissness trip so they where safe luckily :) but no doubt this will only raise tensions in Europe and I'm sure the brixt party's  will use it to scare people Into voting to leave the EU 😪
