Title: Using devices in costume?
Post by: Eerie on March 10, 2016, 07:11:37 AM
Hey everyone!

So this is probably an obvious answer but I feel like asking anyway, seeing how everyone else does it. How do you use your devices whilst in costume? (phones, computers etc).

Do you take your glove off to use them or do you just not use them at all unless you're not around a lot of people so you can go *slightly* out of character to take your glove off? Do suiters make the claws on the hands stylus-like for mobile usage in costume? All these questions  XD

Thanks!

I just need to say that stylus claws would be so awesome, I wonder if anyone's worked with that concept before? Or pawpads made out of the same stuff those touchscreen gloves are made of. I think you're onto something  ;)

Anyways, I just take my paw off; I usually don't care about ruining the magic unless I'm around a lot of kids or something.

Usually when I'm in suit a friend or acquaintance has come along with me :P
So whenever I feel/hear my phone going off, I can ask them to check for me. Unless I really need to have the call myself, I'll then take off a glove, but otherwise I trust my friends enough to reply seriously to the call xD
