Hey everyone!
How do you stay cool in a Fursuit? (Aside from the obvious which is staying hydrated with water and such :P)
Do you even stay cool or do you sweat loads in your Fursuit? Do you wear certain clothes to keep your temperature down or is it unavoidable?
Thanks! :D

I don't fursuit myself (yet) but I've heard a lot of good things about this: http://www.ezcooldown.com/ (http://www.ezcooldown.com/)

Wow they're kinda expensive but they look great! I probably wouldn't be able to afford one after getting a fursuit but this definitely looks like a a great investment! Thanks for the link ^_^

If your jaw can open, that's the best thing :P Having a fan is also nice, and most fursuit makers offer at least the space to install one. The fan direction can either be blowing in your face (this helps if you're claustrophobic or need the feeling of 'fresh' air on your face) or blowing out to get the hot air out (of course you'd need the nose to have holes where the nostrils are).
Also, if your maker does foam heads, ask if they could make vents in the ears. Where the ear curves, the inside with all the fluff near the front base? There can easily be a vent hidden under in the fur, letting the hot air escape from the highest point in the head. There are cooling vests, but those can be bulky or difficult to wear/manage. Just getting outside under some shade, hope the wind blows and open your arms out wide and have your jaw open are your best bet for full-body cooling. :P
And if there are refrigerators, a few people I've seen on YouTube who go fursuiting at stores often open the freezer doors and stand in it for a few seconds. :P
Most cons at least, usually have a room where fursuiters can take their heads off and cool off for a bit, which I'd recommend. And over time you'll have a better tolerance for it; just wear your suit around in short spurts, and over time you'll survive longer XD
Some suiters can go 8 -10 hours in fullsuits, because they taught their body how to deal with the heat. :)
