What made you want to join here?
Well, to be completely honest, I've been really stressed for the longest time and it's been affecting me. I've been trying to get back into my art by being on Deviantart but I just couldn't do it. Also been feeling lonely as well and, idk, the whole 'furry' thing just seems like fun. Always wanted to check it out and try it. Joining a fourm about and for furries looked like a good choice for me.
It's nice to see another writer too, Proto, and I'll definitely check out the literature thead, Sandor!
Hey Rainbow. I don't mind sharing, but it's been like 3 weeks since I saw my story on my laptop, which I lost the charger to, so my memory might be a bit fuzzy.
But basically it's about how this malformed, ugly cobra wishes to find someone who loves him like his mother once did. After being isolated and lonely for so long he brings up enough courage to go out to town where all the other animals are. Of course, it doesn't work out so good. He's ugly and a monster. He ends up running all the way to a dried up, dead forest to hide and cry. A little boy is there, walking, holding a toy. He spots the cobra and comforts him. The boy eventually leaves, forgets his toy as well. The cobra holds on to it and continues to stays there in the forest where he's safe from the others in town. Nighttime comes and a magical comet hits him and the ugly forest and turns all of it, including the cobra, very pretty. But the beauty only last at night.
Um. So the townspeople come to see what happened and they appreciate the forest for its beauty and they love the new critter that lives in it, which is the cobra. But people don't like him when he's pretty either...
Ugh. I cant. Haha, I have the story but it's so hard to write the outline summary on my phone! Especially from memory. But the ending is that he drives everyone out of his park since they wrecked it and they still make fun of him for being his own self, because he's weird and whatnot. So he gets real mad and hissy and it begins to rain. He hears something in the bushes in his forest. This makes him furious and he goes in to hurt whatever is in there.... yadda yadda... it turns out it was the boy, he was just looking for his toy. So he helps the boy get the toy and leads him out of the forest. The boy grows fond of him during the journey out of the forest which takes until daybreak. This makes the cobra transform and the boy is happy to see him. Townspeople come out, sees ugly cobra, Yadda yadda... stuff happens. Boy takes the corba home. Becomes pet. Cobra finally finds the love he always wanted to feel again.
Reads like a fever dream. It sounded better on my laptop! That's basically what the story is about, I skipped some parts but right now my phone keyboard is taking up 90% percent of my screen and it keeps scrolling up. It's driving me nuts! I just wanna end this post! I just need to write it out in more visual format and flesh it out from there. Then I'll feel comfortable with starting the script.
