So umm... Hello, as the topic says :) i recently stumbled upon an interview with the owner of the channel gnoggin about furries and I watched his video on this topic. I always had feelings like what he described so I started looking around the interwebz to learn more. Now I'm pretty sure I've found a community of people who think at least partially the same as me. I hope to find some friends I can talk to here.
So about myself: my real name is Maciej, I'm from Poland and I enjoy playing video games and watching movies and cartoons. I'm 18 and am currently attending our equivalent of high school, soon to have my a-grades. I think my furrism started with some cartoon characters I saw and liked as a child. I always thought about how cool it would be to have some animal features like tails, though I never considered myself an animal ( well obviously humans are animals but you know what I mean). As of now nobody knows about my interest but from what I've heard you guys are the best society/subculture there is, talking about friendship and love and interests. I really want to be a part of that. If there are people or animals or whatever you consider yourself that want to talk or play games together pm me or post here so we can get to know each other.
Thanks for reading this, all replies will mean a lot to me. I'm especially looking for someone to tell me where to start in the fandom. I'd start at a convention probably but the closest one to me there is is in literary less than two weeks from now so I don't think I'd be able to plan everything in time.

Just a heads up from a vet of the fandom, kiks may be more than what you expected. I personally don't use it. Stick to PM where the mods here (who are awesome by the way) can help you if you have a problem.
Other than that, welcome to the fandom! This is probably the best site to get your paws wet in. Note: the furry goodbye is usually hugging if you are comfortable with it.
