I was wondering if The Furry Forum had some kinda voice chat whether it's Discord, Mumble, Teamspeak, or even a Skype group. Would be cool to talk to the active forum members past just responses on here.
Just a question/idea .3.

We have an IRC

We have an IRC
IRC is great but it's no voice xP

A Discord group could easily be set up if it's wanted. I wouldn't mind being a part of/making one, if there's enough interest.

I'd be interested. Although a Skype group seems more practical, as a great deal of people here already seem to have that.
Also be sure to invite Alonzorion. His voice makes my heterosexuality commit suicide.
*sweats nervously*

If you make one tell me. I'm interested.

Yes yes, I am interested in any and all of these! My skype is o2stripes, just add me telling me you're from the site .3.
-
I'd be interested in a voice chat thing too. Sounds fun ^^

Sadly, if Skype is the platform we're to use, I'm out. My laptop's hardware isn't supported by Skype, for some reason, so it doesn't detect my soundcard correctly and causes all sorts of grief.
If folks still want a Discord group, we can, but just sayin'.
-
if you plan to use skype
you better know how to hide your ip address
i would rather discord since its alot easyer and alot bloody safer
-
If this is a go count me in, I'd love to talk it up with people from the fandom. (Not a whole lot of furries where I'm from, was a small group in town that got together but that group seems to have fallen apart.)
-
For the sake of simplicity, why not do both? Those who wish to use Skype, we have a group. Those for Discord? Another. Both can use either.
I'll happily set up a Discord group and invite folks, if they let me know. It's not complicated.

im going to readd my post that i removed
the reason skype isnt such a good idea for this is how you ip address is handled
when making a call to a unknowen contact or knowen for that fact skype will send out you ip address to the other user in a non encrypted way those that know how to pull such things will then have access to your ip address housing you location data and a number of such via the isp and can do nasty things or change theirs to hide as you

this is alot better way of hiding the address but still not foolproof

Read what you had up earlier and was unaware that Skype was soo insecure. Got some it background myself as I had been going to school for this stuff and since your post I've made the chaneges as you have shown to somewhat protect myself. You'd think something used as much as Skype would make efforts to better protect its users but as you know that's not always the case. Thanks for the heads up by the way.
