Everyone can share their favourite recipe on this thread, you can even post multiple ones if you can't decide between a few!
I'll leave my favourite banana cake recipe here as an example:
125g butter
150g golden caster sugar
A teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 egg, beaten
3 ripe bananas, mashed
200g self raising flour
50ml milk
A tablespoon of golden syrup
Preheat the oven to 120C
Melt the butter, sugar, vanilla and syrup in a pan over medium heat,
Remove from heat and add bananas. Mix,
Leave to cool for a few minutes, add the beaten egg and mix again,
Gradually add all the flour, then the milk,
Pour the mix into a prepared tin, put into the oven for around 40minutes to an hour. To check if its done, put a toothpick into it and see if it comes out cleanly.
Leave to cool and eat when ready.

And I might get a few of my own homemade bread or cake recipes here, I do make alot of my own bread and cakes.
