What's hard for me might not be hard for someone else. Could be anything. For me, the hardest thing I've made so far was whipped cream. By hand. By the time I was done my arms were threatening to fall off  :o

Or it could just be complicated. The thing that took me forever to make was the grilled cheese burger. Took so long, because I made everything from start to finish, didn't take any shortcuts, but I haven't made it again because it took so long. The result was completely worth it though  ;) Two grilled cheeses are the bun, one had bacon, the other tomato. In between was a huge burger, lettuce and pickles  ;)

I think the hardest item I had to make was Menudo, a Mexican-style stew or soup.
 Too many steps and ingredients.
I made a small mistake and grabbed the wrong kind of peppers and made it too spicy.
Good thing I only made a little of it and not a whole pot full, that would have been a big waste.

My grandma knew how to make it really good, tasty, and not too spicy.

That sounds pretty good!  ^_^ -the soup not the spicy part lol. I've made chili too spicy before, but it was supposed to be (it was for a friend of the family, he loves spicy food) - he was crying but kept eating it because it was too spicy but he liked the flavor so he finished it  :D

Your water can have a massive impact. If it's too hard, keep dreaming. If you can filter your water (which benefits your kettle too with slower limescale build up), that can make a big difference! ;-)

One of the toughest things I've made is butter :3 double (heavy) cream in a jar, about a third full, and shake that thing like a sexually frustrated teenager!

You mean for like 2 minutes before collapsing panting on the floor and waking up in the middle of the night, cold and alone?

 Pretty much ;-)
