im a 23 year old book author/health enthusiast. I like all sorts of things and live only by my own will.
-
Hi! Welcome to the forum ^-^ what was the book you wrote about? C:
-
Haha I wont give away my identity, but it was a fiction novel about a long series of war and evolution leading to near extinction and human creation.
-
That sounds very interesting c:
-
Thank you. It took lots of work and is relatively new. I haven't gotten huge yet, but its growing :)
-
I'd really like to check it out but I don't think you'll tell me the title...
And is it me or do I notice a Skyrim quote? C:
-
I may if I get to know you better ;P
Haha you do see a Skyrim quote. Its a good one
-
All right then ^-^ I'm, Alex. Do you like to rp? :)
-
I'm James. I do sometimes, im not as heavy into it as alot of people though
-
Oh ok ^_^ what kind of stuff do you like? :P
-
In rp? or just in general?
-
Both I guess :)
-
Haha how difficult. Well as for rp, I can get into lots of things, it depends on my mood. Ive done a little of all of it, generally i like fantasy though, things going in unusual directions. Its more fun with a few people, harem makes my head hurt though. In the real world, I just like to enjoy myself. I'm mildly competitive, but always casual. I cant say much for group activities as im one solitary person (not by choice really), but I like being outside. I like exploring, going new places. Some mild sports like hackeysack, tennis, or skateboarding can be fun. I like reading, but am notoriously selective. Im probably up for most anything, im a pretty upbeat person and very open minded. Sometimes spontaneous. Ive literally just walked in a shop before and decided to get a tattoo. I dont think ive ever regretted anything, except maybe being too innocent to others mischief or lies. I kinda have a kid Goku heart
-
That all sounds very interesting :P
... I suppose you want to hear about me now right? ^_^
-
Well of course lol. It wouldn't be very fair otherwise would it?
-
Nope ^-^
For rp I like fantasy settings and casual settings. I like to hangout with my friends but I need quite a bit of alone time. I really like reading too, especially with fantasy or science fiction books. I like camping but most of the time I stay home and re-watch a tv show or work on writing something but when it comes to writing I have a problem with leaving it unfinished...
Oh and I almost forgot.. what tattoo did you get?
-
Im very similar, Particularly with the writing. That day I got this one on my elbow. The wrist one I did myself (sorry for the flash)

Those are some cool tattoos ^_^
-
Thanks, I want alot more. It takes some time to decide though because each one has to have deep and multiple personal reasons for me
-
That's understandable :)
-
I kinda have a thing for simplicity too.. I see alot of really beautiful high detailed work, but i usually prefer solid black stuff and i like to do it the oldest possible way if i can (bamboo rods and string)
-
How do the bamboo rods and string work? I've heard of it but I don't know what the process is. :/
-
Kinda easier to explain in person. Well the string holds the ink and as pressure is put on it some ink is released. The bamboo is in sharpened spikes of varying lengths (depending on purpose and personal preference) and is either twisted (rolled) on the skin to puncture or inserted at a slight angle directly. Each pass only (depending again on the shape of bamboo) usually makes a single dot, so even small tattoos take hundreds of times longer than mechanical ones do. I use india ink, but in tibet they are known to use a mixture of charcoal and snake venom among other things (its a secret). Those tattoos are known as magick yantra tattoos and only monks may do them. I would love one someday
-
That sounds really interesting :D why do you prefer getting tattoos that way if you don't mind me asking?
-
Call me a modern primitive I guess. I like there to be a certain spirit of naturalism, antiquity, and journey to much of what I do.
-
Yeah :) that's a pretty good reason ^_^
-
Heart full of earth, Head full of sky
-
That sounds vaguely familiar...
-
Haha I have it tattooed on my left arm. most people couldnt place where its from
-
Haha I bet not ^_^ where is it from? It sounds so familiar.
-
An Omnia song. I happened upon it one day and just fell in love with the phrase
-
Ah ok :P
I know this is kind of out of the blue but what is your fursona like? I'm just kind of curious ^_^
-

I personally am a writer, reader, martial artist, body builder, free lance sporting, rock climber, and mutil-form artist/Musician versed in 6 instruments. So naturally my fursona must also live up to the same rigorous standards ;)
-
Red pandas are pretty adorable :D
And your fursona must be pretty cool to live up to all that ^_^
-
I love them ^_^
Haha me and my fursona spend alot of time alone, so what better to focus on than being multi-talented soley to impress myself? XD
-
That's a good point you've got right there XD
-
Im a tough cookie though, im still not pleased enough lol
-
With what? :)
-
My physique, the array and level of mastery of my talents. Anything im lacking that could make me a better person
-
Oh ok :) but I bet you are pretty skilled with your talents ^_^
-
Haha if I ever stop to judge myself ill go mad xD
-
I hope not ^_^
-
ever see the avatar series where princess zula is practicing combat stuff and the one lady says "almost perfect. One hair out of place" and zula says "not good enough"? lol yeah thats me xD
-
Ah ok. ^_^ I haven't seen it in a long time but I've been meaning too
-
I think its the best thing nickelodeon ever did lol
-
Probably XD
