Title: Werewolf?
Post by: Jenac Azaela on January 05, 2016, 08:26:17 PM
If you had the chance to become a lycanthrope, or werewolf by more common wording, would you? And why (not)?
Extra cookie for those who are slightly more creative and mention a different were-something.

It depends on the lore that you go from.  Some allow for control over the wolf form while other don't.  There are also some lore that say your human form changes too, albeit only slightly.

I have to say, if we are going strictly lycanthrope, I would have to say no since most of the lore doesn't sound very appealing, especially since some lore says that the wolf form doesn't have a tail.  D:

With full control, and no negative effects? Definitely.

Standard "Natural" Lycanthrope? Yes, though a cautious yes. Full control of my wolf form, though no control over when I transform... Its a bit of a pain, but the advantages would make up for it.

Standard "Infected" Lycanthrope (No control at all). NONONONONONONONONONONONONONONO~~

Other wereforms? Being a werebear would be cool, and more people would be cool with it due to being labeled as the "GOOD" werecreature.

Actually that's another thing. If the Lycanthropy effects my morality (AKA: turns me evil) Then I would never accept it. Ever.

I suppose it depends on the madness that comes with the transformation. If there are no repercussions, of course I'd jump at the chance. As said above, however, with lack of control or negative effects, I'd see the transformations as more of an issue than something I'd voluntarily have for myself.

I must say, it is truly interesting to read your opinions!
The reason I never stated any control, personality alteration or the other arguments, was to avoid unintentional bias, and to see how you view the different sides of the scenario.
Again, interesting read. Feel free to discuss further or add more were-creatures if you'd like!  ^_^
