Okay, let's try this again, but let's do it the right way this time. We're surviving a zombie a apocalypse. Which means, you can barely trust anyone, you always gotta watch your back, etc.
~Rules~
These are gonna be strict and a bit ridiculous, but necessary to keep people from Mary Suein up the rp.
• NO POWERS!
-meaning, you're a normal fur. Easily killed, easily wounded, scared as hell (don't even try to argue with me about this)
•There's no such thing as a good guy/hero here
-However, there is such thing an evil guy/villain (ex: The Governor, Gareth, Merle... Kinda, and the wolves) No, you cannot be some guy running around assassinating all the bandits or murderers cause everyone is gonna commit murder and theft in order to stay alive.
•Your character cannot be super psycho insane unless you plan for them to be a weakling or a coward
•No Daryl Dixon or Michonne wannabes.
-They're the only bad asses allowed in the Walking Dead >_>
•You can't go up against a hoard of zombies alone.
-If you do, you're going to die.
•No military grade weapons, ya sues. I see you >_>
•If you have weapons that require ammo of any kind, you WILL run out!
-And when that happens, you have to wait ONE day in REAL TIME before you can get more.
•Electricity isn't a thing here.
- I thought about it for a while and I figured everyone would be too busy trying to keep themselves alive to tinker with stuff like that. This also means, no robotic mumbo jumbo. Sorry, not sorry.
•Keep canon characters out of this.
•Did I mention we're normal furs here?
-Cause we are. Be realistic, seriously. What I basically want y'all to do is put yourself in your sona's place and play it through as if YOU'RE the one surviving the apocalypse.

I sit quietly in a cold garage with a can of beans I warmed slightly with a few embers from my now long gone fire. I stand up from my spot and walk around the garage sifting quietly through some of the garbage left behind nothing of much value to me. I grab some paper to use as tinder for the next fire I make. I eat a large amount of beans before I wipe my face with my sleeve.
-
Ray, having slipped into the back-office of the pharmacy, ran into a small group of walkers. Panicking, the young raccoon started hacking away at them with his machete, backing out into the street.
-
((How long has the apocalypse been going?))
A lonely bear approached the town. The long metal bar as a staff in his grip, the tip sawed and sharpened and painted a dirty red from a recent kill. It has been his trusty partner for a good while now. It had reach, enough weigh to crack skulls with a good swing, and a satisfying clang far less startling than a gunshot. He felt naked without it, and he almost never let go of it.
His thirsty tongue licked his lips as peered into shops, looking for any walkers or supplies yet to be scavenged.
-
After walking through the town for quite some time, looking for useful supplies and fending off the few walkers I ran into, I found a small alley, with a dead-end, and took stock of what I found: 4 Cans of tuna, half a bottle of painkillers, a few bandages and 3 rolls of gauze. Whilst putting my rucksack back on, I noticed a fur walk past the alley with a bloodied baseball bat. I cautiously walked to the corner of the alley and peered round the corner. I didn't know if she was a bandit or what, but I tried to keep silent whilst waiting for her to walk on a little further. A sound was made under my feet as I walked on rubble.
-
Ray finally escaped the zombies, and slammed the pharmacy door behind him. He pulled a piece of wood into the doorhandle. Ray sighed, and waited for the zombies to lose interest.
-
((It's been going on for a long time, so we all know how to kill them.))
-
I peak my head through the door way and look around for any walkers before stepping out, "All clear" I whisper as I step out making my way to the road. I use the old broken down cars a cover peaking over the top quickly before moving to the next car "It's too quiet"
-
Ray wandered away from the pharmacy, as the walkers didn't seem to lose interest. He unslung his rifle, but kept the safety on. Ray sighed, and looked around. "Where would food be?"
-
(Boops. How's everyone doin with the rp so far?)

He has a small but muscular build and he is also quite nimble. Axl usually wears converse, jeans, a tee shirt with a button up over it and his lucky goggles. Due to the apocalypse, he now wears combat boots, cargo pants, a long sleeve shirt with a tactical vest over it, and still his goggles.
Species: Fox
Personality: Optimistic, outgoing, friendly, and brave.
History: Before the apocalypse affected Axl’s home town, he was a pizza delivery boy during his high school years and right after. Axl also took his time down at the local shooting range since he planned to join the service as a Sniper. So Axl was a pretty good shot and was on his way to the recruitment centre when shit hit the fan.
In his childhood, the only thing worth mentioning is how he got the nasty scar down his eye. He was just learning how to ride his bike when he went too far in his yard and fell down a hill. Eventually, one of his tires bounce up and broke leaving him to tumble off the bike. When his dad found him, one of the tire spokes ran down his face and he was out cold.
General Equipment: A UMP .45 submachine gun with a red dot and a silencer and a M11-A1 9mm (Sig Sauer). Also a rope handled combat knife.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Axl cautiously entered the town in hoping to find more food at least. He stayed crouched as he moved along side the buildings towards the old ran down convenience store. Checking each and every corner before moving, Axl was just across the street with his UMP raised, watching the street ends.
"I wonder if anyone could possibly still be here?" He said to himself, sitting for a moment. Axl had traveled far just to get to this town, he needed a break for now.
-
After walking out of the alleyway, Arcizo spotted a red and black fox down the street. He kept his eye on him as he tried to get closer to without getting spotted.
-
Ray found himself camping out on top of an older, gothic-styled building. He could see quite a bit from up here, but was still worried. The city seemed so strange, no life to be seen, when a few months ago it was all normal.
-
Axl sighed as he looked around. Eventually, he got up and started to walk towards the convenience store, gun raised and his senses on point.
Once he reached the store, he rang the entrance bell... Nothing. He did it again and same result. Axl went inside the store, closed the door and started to loot.
-
After a while, Ray had left the roof, and strolled around. He reached a small townhouse that seemed untouched, and decided to try the door. Upon finding it locked, he tried every window he could reach; no luck. The young raccoon sighed, and tested the weight of his rifle. After looking around, he nodded, and smashed one of the front windows out.
Ray tore up a curtain, and wrapped it around his paw. He knew that infection was a risk without any disinfectant. The young raccoon sighed, and started looking around the townhouse.
-
After a while, Ray found a few shotgun rounds, and a bunch of rotted food. He sighed, and moved to unlock the door, when a walker staggered out of a nearby room, and tried to tear a chunk out of the young raccoon.
-
better than nothing she grabbed the pain reliever, energy bars, a can or corn and beans. Slipping the small backpack off then putting the items inside. She rose to her feet as Zaida heard a walker groan in the store. She hastily took the machete from its dark green sheath and snarled under the gasmask. Walking to the rotting female tiger. The Vexū swung at its legs until the Walker was on the floor she started to give heavy blows, eventually beheading her. Zaida sighed turning away and started out of the pharmacy keeping low, staying cautious as she traveled through the streets.
I'm game if there are no objections :P
Name: Spike Miller
Age: 26
Sex: Male
Species: Coyote
Strengths: Navigation and hunting
Weaknesses: Worries too much, is near sighted, injured leg.
Appearance: Tall and lean, keeps fur neat when possible, wears glasses, slings his rifle over his shoulder with a drop leg holster for his pistol.
Weapons: SKS rifle with bayonet, Glock 17 9mm, a crowbar, and Ka-bar knife.
Clothing: carries a backpack with tools and supplies, wears jeans and construction boots, wears an overcoat but is missing a shirt.
The coyote kept silent as he watched Zaida leave the pharmacy through the counter he hid behind. He hadn't finished searching for the meds he needed or new bandages to help replace the old ones now soaked in old blood. He lowered his rifle once Zaida crossed the threshold of the door.
"whew..." He thought to himself.
It wasn't uncommon to run into other survivors, but Spike quickly learned that trust was a rarity among those still alive. He quickly continued to search the dusty cabinets as quietly as he could. Wincing with pain, he removed his glasses to wipe the sweat from his brow. There was nothing left to find. Disappointed, he turned to leave but knocked his rifle over from its leaning position. It hit the floor with a loud thud. He froze, hoping the person who' just left was too far to hear the noise.
-
(Not at all welcome to the RP)
Zaida crouched and crawled through the street. Avoiding to stay out in the open. She rolled under the truck looking out from under.
-
Geoff sat in a corner in the upper floor of an office building with his back against the wall. He rotated the metal bar while casting thoughtful eyes upon its muddy crimson coating, as if he was planning something. He wasn't. It was more like an idle zone-out into the complex details of futile existence within the collapse of sapient decency. Something of the sort. He could barely keep track of his own mind's pathways, but it didn't bother him too much. At least not now. No, right now it was background hum as he relaxed in a vague sense of peace in his corner. That peace was soon to end, he knew well enough, but it didn't hurt to rest once in a while. Scavenging and prodding brainless masses all day and night takes quite a bit of energy.
-
A few moments passed. Hearing nothing he picked up his rifle and walked toward the door, stepping over the tiger missing a head. Once he was outside he stood breifly to listen, he crouched and lowered to the floor scanning the street up and down. A few Walkers dragged themselves as they wandered in the street. None had seen him yet.
He moved quickly across the road towards the shops on the other side. The pain in his leg made him limp as he hurried. He moved silently past the truck and slipped into an office building just beside it and deployed the bayonet from his rifle once inside.
A bear walker saw him and moved toward him with a groan. Spike was too late to notice as it rushed him. He quickly moved his rifle to block the attack and was knocked to the ground, crashing to the floor. He struggled as the bear wrestled to bite him, his rifle barely holding off his much larger attacker from getting to close to his face. The two groaned as they fought, Spike trying to desperately roll over but it was no use.
-
Zaida heard the grunts and a few groans behinds having her ears to flick. A few from the horde that were close enough to hear began to turn their heads a few beginning to wander back. shit... No!
She quickly began to crawl backwards sitting up on her knees and jumping to her feet staying out of their view. Zaida turned around moving to the noise with the machete tight in her paw. Peaking over at the bear and dog spar, the canine obviously a survivor. The bloody machete was put back in its sheath before she took the pistol from its holster and aiming. There was too much movement her eyes darting about before spotting a can, she crushed it under her boot as a distraction. It cause a slight pause for the bear. With no hesitation, she aimed and shot the Walker, watching its body go limp and fall over.
-
The gunshot was deafening as Spike's glasses splattered with the walker's brain matter before it fell limp ontop of him. He was disoriented. It took a moment to realize that someone else was standing over him aiming a pistol. He quickly shoved the dead bear off and lay there breifly, not knowing if the stranger had any ill intent. For all he knew, he was next to die. He slowly put his hands up as he lay on the floor.
"Thanks for saving me, but please dont shoot me next." He said. "Take anything you want, just don't kill me."
-
There was a moment of silence as the vexū's face was hidden behind the gasmask... Her glowing eyes slightly visible while staring, studying the coyote. Zaida put the pistol back and took out the machete. "I would have already, I got it's attention for a reason to avoid shooting you. Be quite and don't you do anything funny..." She said slightly muffled but it was clear enough. Zaida lightly kicked the dead bear, leaning down she patted the corpse for anything useful before quickly looking back in the direction were the horde was, making sure none of the walkers were coming.
-
Spike silently nodded before picking himself up. He quickly took off his glasses to hastely wipe them and then picked up his rifle.
"They heard the shot." Spike whispered, referring to the walkers outside. "We can't go back out there."
He looked around for an exit while the vexu searched the dead bear. Seeing an opening to a dark stairwell, he looked back at her.
"I'm going up, are you coming?" He asked, hoping she would agree.
-
(Hope I'm still apart of this)
Infrared flinched his head at the sound of a gunshot. His face filled with annoyance and anger "Well isn't this just great" he said under his breath. Slowly he stood up, grabbed his knife and looked out the window. He relaxed a little but still gripped the knife tightly. "Yes or no?" He asked himself and after a few minutes he gave himself the answer he was waiting for. "Yes" he slowly walked down the stairs and out the front door of the abandoned house.
-
Geoff jolted from the gunshot and sighed with a huff through his nostrils. That better have been a necessary shot; now the damned monsters will swarm the area like wasps. That's his cue to get back to work. He peered out the windows to check the surrounding area. He figured he had the building locked down decent enough, or so he hoped, but what can happen will happen around these parts.
-
She stopped searching the bear hearing more groans and grunts growing closer. The Vexū looked around looking for a way to go but the horde began to break away looking for the source of the noise.
Zaida huffed looking back, she didn't trust him but had no choice. Facing towards him oncemore "Uh.... Okay okay, go!" she hissed to the coyote waving her hand for him to lead the way.
-
He stopped in his tracks immediately and ran back inside the house. "OK bad idea" he whispered to himself as he leans his head past the door ever so slightly. A horde of walkers were passing by, lucky they didn't see him. Slowly he crouched and walked quitlely back to the upper floor of the house. "I just have to wait for it to pass" he said to himself while searching a bedroom for any potential walkers. When he was finished he closed the door and barakaded it with a book shelf. "Well isn't this just wonderful" he quitly hissed.
-
Spike nodded and slipped into the stairwell with his saviour following suit. He pulled a road flare off his belt and ignighted it, lighting up the darkness of the stairway in a bright red glow. He took a moment to listen for any noises but heard only silence and the faint moan of walkers outside behind the door. Slinging his rifle over his shoulder, he picked up a large piece of wood from the floor and propped it against the door, blocking it closed.
"That should hold them off for a while." He said, pulling out his knife. "I'm Spike, by the way." He began. "It's nice to meet someone who isn't trying to kill or rob me for once."
He started walking up the steps with the pain in his leg causing him to wince yet again. He looked down at the rust colored bandages soaked with fresh blood in the red light. With no new medical supplies, he was running out of options. Maybe there was supplies they could find on the upper floors before getting to the roof.
-
*Issac was walking towards the pharmacy before he heard the gunshot, he flinched and checked his body....nope he wasn't shot 'Survivors...' he said continuing to walk, he looked down the road seeing a good amount of walkers, he sighed before starting to walk back... and there was a shark zombie, missing the lower half of its body, slowly crawling towards Issac jolted back falling backwards before smashing the shark over the head with his crowbar, it went limp before Issac sighed and hit it again, just in case* "Jeez..." *he said before standing up*
-
Zaida flinched as the flare suddenly flashed the darkness away, the area glowing red. She looked out, watching for any walkers before turning to spike. "Just because I didn't rob you doesn't make us friends... I hope that's clear." The Vexū then said in a serious tone obviously wasn't very friendly or comfortable with the survivor, a few seconds of silence. "My name is Zaida..." She finally spoke.
Zaida turned to look back seeing the walkers roaming about the city no longer in a group but scattered about groaning, grunting, and whimpering. With a soft sigh she took lifted the mask up, wiping her face off with her paw.
-
"Understood, Zaida." Spike said flatly. "All my friends are dead."
He looked up and down the stairs. "Going up I guess..." he thought, starting to walk up the steps to the second floor. The door to the second floor was sealed shut as he tugged on the handle. "Damn...locked."
He looked back down at Zaida, "We'll have to try the third floor and then the roof." He said, taking the next flight.
-
*Issac looked back at the zombies before he started walking away, quicky he started towards a apartment building that was near, he closed the door, the room was dark and the only natural light that seemed to be coming through was from the doors window, he sighed before grabbing his flashlight, the dim and obviously old flashlight wasn't much help, but had to do for now*
-
Twirling the knife in his hand he waited for a sign that it would be ok to leave. So he entertained himself by playing around with the knife, he mine as well have played with fire. After becoming bored with the knife he peaked out a nearby window in the room. There were a few walkers out there but they were spread out. Slowly he sat back down attempting to think of a way to get past them without getting himself killed.
-
She began to walk up the stairs watching him tug the sealed door but it still remained closed. "Alright, Just lead the way." Zaida said as she follows him however kept her distance and her guard up. Often checking her surroundings.
-
Spike made his way to the third floor stair level with Zaida, lighting the way with the flare. He approached the door and tugged on the handle. It jerked open slightly with a loud metallic shudder. Light from the windows illuminated the stairway through the small opening in the doorway immediately. It was quiet, but there was evidence a survivor was there. Peering in through the crack, he noticed discarded supplies littered the floor. The coyote immediately picked up a scent from inside. Resheathing his knife and placing the flare down on a step, he unslung his rifle and looked back at Zaida cautiously making silent hand gestures that someone was inside.
He ran his paw around the door's exterior, feeling for any string or devices that would trigger an alarm or trap from the inside before opening it fully. Feeling nothing, he nodded back at her. He waited for her signal that she was ready before moving in.
-
Now he was becoming impatent, looking out the window every 30 seconds. It was annoying that he had to wait up here. So he slowly carved letters into the wooden floor that eventually spelled out 'dead' he let out a light chuckle but instantly grabbed his knife as he feared a walker may have heard him.
-
She watched the walkers for a moment making sure none of them were heading over. then turned back to the coyote who open the door with a slight jerk. Waiting for some response before he gave the signal someone was inside making her hold the machete tightly.
Zaida watched him feel around, he obviously knew what he was doing. The Vexū got low, ears laying flat, her steps now silent as she grew close towards the door. Peaking in to see the item scattered around the room eventually smelling the other anthro. With a nod she spoke in a soft whisper "alright."
-
*Issac Looked around his flashlight illuminating the room*
-
Spike nodded and pulled the door open, the metallic shudder echoed through the stairwell. He slipped in first with his rifle at the ready. The office was quiet as he scanned over cubicles of an open space that appeared to be a call center. Dust covered old monitors, phones, and desks. He cleared the office space while quickly and quietly moving sideways through the first section of office looking for any movement.
He moved toward the window. Peering through the blinds keeping to one side of the wall, he could see the street littered with walkers below around the truck and near the entrance. He scanned the small buildings and houses opposite to their building, keeping out of sight from any crosshairs or other prying eyes. He didn't doubt there were other survivors among the ruins but he hoped the calm would last until the horde moved on. More gunfire would only prolong their wait to escape.
He gestured over to Zaida that the first office was clear. Yet the smell lingered, mixed in with old food cans and rotting meat.
"Someone is here somewhere..." He thought to himself. He could tell there was only one straggler based on the footprints on the ground; blood and dirt stained into the office carpeting. The one type of boot print on the floor suggested it was a single individual. The prints were spread out around the office but centralized near the windows. It was clear this point was used as a lookout from the window as someone paced back and fourth. The coyote bent down to analyze the floor. He noticed a small tuft of fur before picking it up and studying it. It smelled similar to the scent he smelled in the air. He had guessed it was from another bear. He looked back at the windows and could only assume they were being watched upon entering the building. He began to weigh the possibility of an imminent surprise attack or not finding anyone one at all if it fled.
"Bear..." Spike hushed over to Zaida, motioning to the doorway into the next office with his rifle.
He slowly approached the wall near the doorframe and pressed one of his ears to the drywall. Listening for a moment, he looked back at Zaida and nodded. He braced himself against the wall next to the door leading into the second office and waited for her to make the decision to breech the door or not.
Ray, after his first encounter with the walker, had gotten it pinned beneath a couch, and had beaten it's skull in with a convenient table lamp. However, a nice, but small, cut on his arm worried him. The raccoon tore up another curtain, and bandaged himself. "I need cleaning stuff," he said quietly to himself, "or it might get infected."
((Basically everyone is in a small town, Spike and Zaida are on the 3rd floor of an office building with Geoff who they havent found yet while looking for a way out possibly off the roof or will rest there for a bit. Everyone else seems to be scattered around in other small houses/buildings/shops on the main street filled with a horde of zombies attracted to the sound of Zaida's pistol that was fired earlier))
-
Looking out the window he twirled his knife. Eventually he decided that he would wait it out in the house. He pulled the bookshelf of the door and walked downstairs cautiously with his knife in hand. Downstairs the kitchen was a mess but it had some canned items left lying around. He approching the canned food carefully and quickly bagged them up. Next he checked all the other rooms which had nothing useful so he went back upstairs and checked all the other rooms which yielded no results, giving up he sat down in the hallway awaiting the moment when he could start moving again.
-
Raz was sitting on top of an autobody shop, not too far from an apartment just only a few blocks away, and the Zombies that lined the outer walls of the auto shop looked back at the sound and immediately forgot about Raz, but some stayed behind and we're determined to get him, but Raz had fortified the shop's yard and interior with the leftover metal and the only way in was hopping the fence or the sewer, and in the backyard of the shop, there were an abundance of potatoes and melons and also a rain bucket as well as kindling and a fire pit.
Raz layed on the auto shop roof on a lawn chair until he heard a gunshot which seemed to be a few blocks away, "What the hell? I thought this whole place would've changed by this point... guess not...", Raz hopped down off the roof and took some of the walker clothing he refuged and soaked it in waste water then set it on fire with a lighter and it caused a plume of black smoke to rise into the sky, "There, I'll put it out come sunset, and it should diminish by tomorrow noon.", Raz then secured the fire to make sure it wouldn't ignite the crops, he then took a bucket of water and gardening tools and began to tend to the crops.
-
Zaida stayed cautious her head never stayed in one place but looked back and forth up and down. She didnt face her back towards this new survivor, spike either. After wandering around the room, smelling and scanning the area carefully. She looked over at the coyote and nodded with a response. Zaida looked at some of the items, picking them up before placing them back in place not wanting to leave a trace.
Zaida the walked over to the canine. "When we meet this bear what's the plan..." She asked plainly.
-
*Issac Looked out the door window, the zombies where gone, he opened the door before walking out ,he was walking quickly past the pharmacy before looking at the apartment windows*
-
Spike tilted his head at the question. He frowned.
"We have two options...leave now and take our chances outside or stay and find out if he or she has anything we can use." He replied. "The safest would be to avoid detection but I need medical supplies. I came here looking for a first aid kit and I cannot leave empty handed." He said, gesturing to his bloody leg. "If there is a threat, we engage it."
He sighed.
"I'd like to avoid a fight. I'm weak and need to save ammunition. We could also use a place to rest until the horde passes. I won't last out there in this condition so my options are limited..." He paused. "You can choose to stay or leave...but I must stay."
Looking at him frown. "I was just making sure. I often attack, or steal." she said. Zaida was a quite fur so there was often a pause. "Anyways I need some water I'm dehydrated and only have a few canned goods left. I have a few medical items but nothing very serious." She walked over to the wall continuing to lay low. She quickly peaked out to glance at the walkers. One day should be good enough she thought.
-
The coyote raised an eyebrow. "I guess that makes two of us." He pulled his bag off his back and reached inside, pulling out a 2-liter bottle 3 quarters full and slid it across a table toward her. "Boiled springwater," he said. "Take it. Its the least I can offer you for saving me back there."
He gripped the doorknob in his paw. But before turning it he looked at her. "I know you said we're not friends, but if we don't find anything in here, I'll help you find some food."
The doorknob clicked but didn't budge. He tried the doorknob again but to no avail.
The door has been braced from the other side. "Something is blocking the door." Spike said, stepping back.
((Geoff should be around if he wants to interact, but if not I'm going to pretend he already left or is hiding behind the locked door))
-
Bailey slowly makes his way towards the city limits, he peers into the streets and see's the large group of walker. He sighs and begins to scoot closer and closer to the city until he react the main street. He hid behind a car and watched the group of undead shamble around. He looked around the street for a few moments, then like a bolt of lighting dashed towards a small grocery store and hid behind a counter and just watched.
"Please god, I just want to find someone..." He mumbled to himself. A tear began to run down his face as he began to look at the ground, "I don't want to do this alone anymore..."
-
Ray, unable to find any cleaning supplies, made his way out of the house, and onto the street. He looked worried, and for good reason. As a last ditch attempt, Ray shouted out. "Hello?! Anyone out there?!"
-
Infrared's ears perked up as he heard some one scream out for help or something. Slowly he looked out the window out the end of the hallway. "I sure hope you realize what you just did" he said quietly as he made the decision to open the window and yell "Over here idiot!" And quickly grabbed his knife to prepare for the eventual army of walkers that would probably come his way. "This better be worth it" he told humself .
-
Ray headed towards the voice, smiling. After a few moments, he realized it might be a trap, and slowed. As he reached his destination, he stopped and looked around. "H-Hello?" Then, he heard it, the awful moan of the dead. Ray blinked, and spoke again. "Do you have an old, wind up alarm clock?!"
-
"Yeah, here" he gave this new stranger an old alarm clock with the bell and everything. "Talk about old fahoined" he said under his breath as he gripped his knife ready to attack any walkers.
-
Ray began winding the clock, hoping he wouldn't be attacked. After a few moments, he tossed the clock as far as he could, and ran inside. "Hope this works..."
-
Slowly he relaxed his grip on the knife "they are attracted to sound so it should work". He looked toward the stranger that had so stupidly called for help. Very slowly his frown turned into a small smirk "so tell me what made you such an idiot to yell out for help?"
-
Ray turned, and stumbled backwards. "J-Jesus! S-Scared me." He shrugged. "I...I dunno. Hope, I guess?"
-
Raz heard a couple voices in the distance and could just see over a smaller building, a hand toss something out of a window that was shiny, then he heard the voices again and saw the thing get thrown away from where it was dropped, then he heard the faint sound of an alarm clock, "What... was that an alarm clock...", Raz plainly saw the walkers around his base turn around and start to walk towards the noise, "Okay... well if those survivors have a sense of mind, they'll come to the signal fire."
-
He laughed "hope, seriously hope?" He proceeded to laugh again "that is not true you yelled because you needed help, the real question is what do you need help with?"
-
Ray shrugged. "Well, this." He undid the bandage, revealing the vicious cut on his paw. "Glass, couldn't get in through the door."
-
*Issac was heading to the city limits, he wanted to get out of the city, and to the countryside*
-
Bailey was huddled in a corner away from windows in the supper market. He was fast asleep until the sound of a alarm clock could be heard, his eyes shot up and he began to crawl towards one of the windows. He looked towards someone moving quickly into a building. He thought to himself for a few seconds until he realized that staying in this market would be safer than moving towards life.
-
He scratched the back of his head "man that looks nasty" slowly he took a closer look at the wound "It's not infected yet at least I don't think" he turned his head toward the stranger "what's your name?"
-
Ray smiled slightly. "I'm Ray. Pleased to meet you."
-
Raz heard stood on the autoshop's roof and looked over to where he saw the shiny thing get thrown from, "Hmm, I wonder if they're still alive?", Raz looked down at the walkers that stayed behind, "You guys look appear to be... bags of bones... what the hell? I mean, yeah, sure, they're dead... but why do they look like... this?", Raz hopped down off the roof and back down to the firepit and tended to it to keep it going, "It's weird how no one has knocked on the doors yet..."
((What's the time in the RP right now?))
-
*Issac made a turn and, after awhile stopped at a super market*
-
Bailey laid there twiddling his thumbs until he looked towards the window and saw someone standing there, he panicked and began to hide behind a counter. He pulled out his revolver and pulled the hammer back. "W-who's there?!" He whispered.
-
Raz looked at his survivor rations, "Hmm, I'd better head out and get some more cans... maybe that apartment has some.", Raz went into the shed that was there and took out his sword and pistol then went to one of the exits from his base, "Alright, the sewer system path I have should still be filled with dead walkers, and this ha 2 paths, one leads to the super market boiler room, and I think the 2nd path leads to just behind the apartment into a sewer maitenance primary tunnel that should be just down the hill from it... but I'm not sure if it has the gate still... it should... hmm..", Raz stood there until he would make his decision.
((Who's more hurt in our situations?))
-
"Well nice to meet you Ray" Infrared spoke with no hint of emotion. He took of his pack and started to rummage through it, "here it is" he pulled out a bottle of hydrogen peroxide and some bandages. "Here you go, just don't waste the entire bottle, it's almost empty". He handed Ray the medical items. "This house isn't going to safe for much longer, I hope you have some more bright ideas in that head of yours"
((No idea))
-
((I'm just gonna go to where you guys are))
Raz made his decision and began to make his way to the apartment and when he got to the gate, no walkers were present, they must've all gone to that alarm clock, Raz then got out of the sewer drain and made his way to the apartment's jarred back door and slowly went inside, his sword ready at hand, a walker did notice Raz inside the building, but Raz made quick business with it and proceed up the stairs to the assumed room of where he saw those 2 from before.
as he walked down the hallway, he could hear voices and before he got to the room he spoke out, "Hello? Are there any survivors here?"
-
Infrared grabbed his gun and knife, "isn't this just lovley, more idiots". Slowly he approached the source of the voice which was coming form the hallway outside the door. "Who are you, and what do you want" he asked cautiously while gripping the knife tightly.
-
"My name is Razuel, I'm from that autobody shop from a few blocks over. I'm here to offer you and your friend refuge there. Plenty of food and water. Please, I mean no harm. If you want proof, there is signal smoke arising from behind it and a lawn chair is perched on it's roof."
-
He turned his head toward a window, but couldn't see anything from the way he was looking out of it. "Stay where you are" he quickly said as he sprinted toward the window, his eyes searches for the lawn chair and the signal fire. It didn't take long for him to find it and when he did he went back toward the door. "Alright it checks out, just remember try anything funny and you will die" slowly he opened the door for the stranger.
-
"Well then if that's all settled come on out and follow me.", Raz stood patiently outside the door, "Please do hurry up, those walkers may be back soon."
-
Infrared's face turned to annoyance as he looked at Ray "you coming?" A slight pause, "give me a couple seconds" he checked the ammunition in his gun and then checked his pack for other various items. "Alright let's go"
-
Raz looked into the room to see Ray, "What happened to him?"
-
"Cut his hand trying to get in somewhere, you should ask him I don't know the full story" he tapped his foot uncertainty
-
"Well, lets worry about that when we get back to my base.", Raz began to walk down the hallway to the stairway.
-
Ray blinked out of his stupor, and looked over to Raz. "O-Oh! Sorry...I was thinking..."
-
Infrared sighed "are we going or what?" He said obviously annoyed with something or someone.
-
(I don't think enva will post spike... She hasn't for awhile)
-
Raz nodded, "Yes we're going, just follow me.", Raz then led the way down the stairs and stopped just outside the backside of the apartment, "Just down the hill there is a sewer entrance, but you'll get lost if you don't follow me through."
-
Ray nodded. "Alright...where're we headed?"
-
"We're going to my base. This is one of the 2 safest ways to get in, just follow me so you don't get lost in there.", Raz got down to the sewer entrance and opened the sewer gate, "Go on in."
-
He stopped suddenly "Your asking me to go in there before you yourself go in there?" He made a 'hm' sound before saying "yeah no deal, you go in first"
-
Raz sighed, "Fine, just shut the gate on your way in.", Raz lit a match and dropped it into a dip in the wall and the tunnel lit up, "Follow me.", Raz then began to walk down the sewer tunnel.
-
Infrared walked into the sewer, but stopped as he waited for Ray "come on let's go"
-
Ray changed the bandage on his paw, and then followed along into the sewer.
-
Raz led them to a ladder with light shining from it, "Just up here.", Raz climbed up the ladder and stood at the top, and waited for them, "Welcome to my base."
-
He looked around at the base, "pretty nifty, how long have you been here?" Infrared asked as he looked around examining the new environment.
-
"I'm not entirely sure... I think its been a year or so now... but no one even really comes here due to the walkers that surround my base, but so far, they haven't gotten through, and I don't expect them to ever... have you noticed that they all look different now, like more 'boney'?", Raz walked over to his firepit and kicked some sand in it, causing it to slowly extinguish.
-
Infrared let out a small smile "I don't care what they look like, it's of no concern to me but considering that they are dead I think it's just them decomposing reaaaaalllly slowly" he turned his head over to look at Razuel "do you have any books?"
-
"Yeah there are some books in the cellar, 1st shelf on the right", Raz went over to his crops and tended to them.
-
As Ray followed, it was apparent his injury wasn't going unnoticed. He had to use the crook of his elbow to descend the sewer ladder, and again to climb the ladder to Raz's base. He spoke up quietly, when he reached the compound. "D-Do you have any disinfecting agents, and possibly m-more bandages? I-I...I don't wanna be a burden."
-
"I have some bandages and rubbing alcohol, but nothing like polysporin or anything like that, just some aloe plants. Just sit on that bench there and relax, I'll go get the med kit.", Raz quickly ran inside the building and came out with the med kit and he gathered some aloe pieces for the wound.
-
Infrared scanned the bookshelf swiftly, it was suprisingly neat and clean. His search ended however, when his eyes stopped upon a book titled 'Cloud Atlas'. Instantly his paw grabbed it and read the back cover, and slowly as he read the first few pages he set his pack on the floor and sat down entrigued by the book. The wonderful sound of silence filled his ears making him forget about the flesh eating corpses outside.
-
Ray took a seat, and sighed. "I really hope...hope I don't lose this.." He undid the bandage, and studied the wound.
-
Raz quickly opened the med kit and applied the rubbing alcohol, then squeezed some aloe on it after it stopped fizzing, "Let it breath for a few seconds, then call me back when the aloe has seeped into the wound, okay?", he went into a little hut in the yard that had a grindstone, and a mannequin with a few pieces of metal armor on it.
-
(I don't think enva will post spike... She hasn't for awhile)
(Ok we'll just continue on and hopefully group together for more interaction)
Spike knocked on the door and listened. There was nothing but silence. He turned and looked at Zaida. "Whoever's here, I don't think they're around...or alive to mind if we borrowed a few things." He said, as he started going through the shelves and cupboards.
He grabbed a few supplies including canned items and toilet paper. "Grab anything you can use. We should start to head out." He peered out the window to the street below. The group of walkers were disappearing down the road with the occaisional ones lingering behind. Nothing they couldn't handle.
-
"Exactly what I was thinking." Zaida replied with a muffle under her mask as she already took useful items laying about but did it more freely now that the coyote was comfortable with doing so.
The Vexū mainly looted from the small bathroom or kitchen putting items in her small backpack. It was common for goods to be in those rooms she always checked them first. Often looking in odd places where no one would ever look.. unless they were hiding anything useful.
-
The coyote rifled through drawers and cabinets. There was very little in terms of useful items when in an office. "Do you think we should check the roof?" He asked, unsure of what could be up there. Even if there were no supplies or means to escape there would atleast be a vantage point to plan a route out of the main street.
-
"Don't think so... Roofs aren't good. You can get trapped if the walkers hear you, They'll surround and never leave I've watched it happen once. Or other survivors, snipers." Zaida said quietly. "I don't want to take a risk."
-
Ray nodded, and watched the wound on his paw. After a few minutes he spoke up. "I-I think she's set."
-
A twang was heard as a mallet hit metal then a clump when it was set down, and Raz walked out of his hut with the bandages and begins to wrap the wound, "Seems like it's healing now, that's good.", finishes wrapping the wound, "So how did you get stuck with him?"
-
Ray furrowed his brow. "Asking me? I was hoping to find someone with b-bandages and cleaning supplies. It paid off, didn't it?" He smiled, but grimaced as his stomach grumbled. "Uh...sorry about that..."
-
"It seems you're hungry, well it's fine, you can just have some crops, just don't overindulge, alright?"
-
Ray shook his head. "I-I'll get my own...I already t-took your medicine."
-
"It's fine, I largely suggest the melons and corn, both are very sweet."
-
Ray nodded. "If you insist." He stood, and walked to the garden, pulling the smallest morsel he could. The young raccoon didn't wish to cause the people who saved him as little stress as possible.
-
"Alright, we'll check the back door. If its clear we'll go that way otherwise we'll take our chances out front." He suggested, looking out the window. "Lead the way, I got your back."
-
Raz walked over and gave Ray a massive melon, "Here, this'll fill you up faster. Clean knives are in the shed.", he then returned to his hut and continued to work on some armor.
-
Ray blinked, and walked to the shed, after replacing what he had taken in the garden. He then went and grabbed a knife, and cut a meager piece from the melon. The young raccoon hadn't eaten in a while, and wanted to avoid illness.
