WARNING: This is really probably pathetic, but it's getting on my nerves so HEY it's your fault for clicking on the thread! *Stares at you intently and dares you to interrupt*
WHY. Especially with JEFF. WHY. T_T
Creepypastas. Are supposed to be SCARY. They're supposed to give you nightmares, not nosebleeds.
STOP. Jeff is a deformed man with his face gashed open. He's psychotic. He's a murderer.
Toby is another one. He went insane, put an axe through his stepdad's skull and burned his house down, with his mother in it. NOT attractive. So STOP making posts like "OMGGGGG I'm nine and I'm GONNA MARRY JEFF" (I actually copied and pasted this from a PMV video- someone WROTE THAT)
You're not only making the whole Creepypasta fanbase look bad, you're demeaning the stories themselves. Jeff is barely SCARY anymore because too many people drew him with his shirt off. They probably haven't even READ his pasta. And if you say that Jeff's is one of your favorite pastas (or Toby's for that matter) you'll be accused of being a "fangirl".
How about, you read the story, appreciate that it's supposed to be scary, and if you DO fanart, draw them fully clothed? Creepypastas are NOT something to be SEXUALIZED, thank you.

It's not that I have a problem with people making the pastas attractive and perhaps sometimes sexualizing them, it's more the OVER sexualization that bothers me. As in, to the point when it's taken all of the scariness out of the story, and the character becomes more well known as "that hot character" than the original person. I feel like the character isn't being given any respect for their story and actions.
The thing that bothers me (especially in Jeff's case) is that a lot of people will fangirl over him without even reading the pasta.
So yes, you make a very good point, and I think I came off a bit strong, my bad, haha. I hope I've clarified myself a little :)

I agree. Like hearing the same song too often. You just don't feel it anymore. It takes all the fun out of reading new CP's with the character.
Just don't mess with Smile, and we all will be fine. XD

I assume it's the same reason why people sex-up female characters in games that aren't meant to look sexy in any way. Like the MLP ponies or anime girls. Headcanons really.
I honestly stopped with C.P characters a long time ago. Most of them are Jeff clones with some sort of sexual/partner relationship with a better and bigger character. Really grinds my gears.

I agree it gets on my nerves.
I understand having favorites. For example I like mr.widemouth, slender, eyeless Jack (but don't crush over them).They are monsters? I don't get it... If you saw Jeff you'd go run up to him and hug and kiss him? No you wouldn't because he's batshit crazy, a murderer, and he looks all **censor** up along with the others.
I think I proved my point here. *Flys away riding a rainbow tricycle*

I think it's a way for people to handle their fears.
Sexualizing things helps our brains handle stuff and sometimes that means the scariest most twisted things :\ It annoys me but no more than other things.

I find the pasta pretty nice, as well as the MLP creepypastas. And the Cupcakes one just is so... awesome... although I felt bad for R.D., I liked it for it's killing method. Back to original topic: the Jeffypasta (pffft... Jeffypasta... get it?) Is good, but sad. I feel bad for ol' Jeff, because he is like that Kohle character from a Deviantart artist named Copperfirecracker. Bullied to the point of insanity. Just looks up 'copperfirecracker wsblu' and you'll understand. ;3
