((Slightly in the past))
The nine Fiefs had gathered on a circular table in the underground capital of the Fangfort. The invitation to visit Steelburg had come through earlier that day.
"I am telling you!" Esmern, leader of the Spirit-watch hold, says. "I KNOW that this breaks our standard mode of operating~" "~Which has worked for hundreds of years" Angder, leader of the Fanghold, interjects. Esmern sighs "The possibility of trade could be a great asset!" A couple of other hold leaders nod at that. Angder sighs. "OK... I am not going. That is final." Angder declares. "Esmern, if you want to go to represent the Spirit watch. I can't stop you."
((List of all the Holds, and their leaders, its mostly flavour. Only a couple will actually be important long term.))

A messenger arrives at Angder's office, Angder opens the door irritably, "What now?" he asked, tiredly."
He takes the message, from Ukraine, reading it slowly.
((made a new map.))
((the off purpley blue colour is purely there for if Ben would rather be back in his old location, or if people feel he is too big. I figured and empire should be large though :L))
((List of edits:
Saranu moved east.
Phyrix collective moved into Saranu's old location.
Unused land reshaped entirely
Empire of blades moved and expanded greatly, to fit the "empire" description.
Setchopia is now further away.
Notes:
Arestoka could NOT be moved due to how the map was working. Moving Arestoka would mean either landlocking someone, or moving everyone.
The Empire might be a bit TOO big
