I didn't really like Advance Warfare and I know it was developed by Sledgehammer Games instead of Infinity Ward or Treyark but even with Treyark developing Call Of Duty Black Ops 3, it's not Call Of Duty to me anymore. Black Ops 2 was fine and I liked that game but I just don't like the direction the the Call Of Duty series is going. Am I the only one that feels this way? Does anyone else want the Call Of Duty series to go back to what made it great like Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2 or even Black Ops 1 and 2 or is it just me?
For me, Advanced Warfare is the last Call Of Duty game I'll get unless they go back and bring out the older Call Of Duty feel.

Not liked COD for a long, long time. It's just a bland shooter with nothing too special about it which keeps me all that interested.
-
Never really liked CoD's multiplayer, I do like the single player because of the block buster themes and stuff which are pretty epic. Though the last CoD I played was MW3 (so have yet to play BO II, III, Advanced warfare, Ghosts)
$70 is too much to pay for a game that you're only gonna buy for a 6 hour campaign xD
It would be nice for CoD to go back to WW II, or maybe even before. It's in the future now and I dunno how much further they can go.
I would normally complain that CoD is just the same thing rehashed, but so is smash bros, pokemon, basically any nintendo game really >.>, but racing games, lots of stuff. So I can't really make the same criticism.

What if,
Now hear me out here.
What if, we had a WWI COD?
Or like a multiverse COD? WWI, WWII, present day, future, all sorts of soldiers come together to fight a common enemy.
-
YES!!!! I gave up on COD years ago
-
I never really cared. I mean they're all the same game pretty much. Each new one just has just a tiny difference. I mean enjoy most of them so yeah.
-
They just want you to spend your money on the same thing over and over
-
And they have every right to do it too. I mean, you're the one who's buying. We all know it's going to be the same hyped up crap like every year, but people contiue to buy in to it.
-
thinking about it, it's the same reason people buy sport games every year and how each new instalment is the same, but with one or two cool new features. However CoD games have fun little extras for playing with your bros like Zombies. In the end though, you're only buying it for the Multiplayer.

Has Call of Duty ever been good? *puts on hipster glasses*
I think I am one of about a dozen people on earth who has never seriously played any of these. I think I played Zombies once on one of the really old Call of Duty games. There are so many more interesting things to me than Standard Patriotic Jingoism Bullet Simulator 32-B.

I am glad I am not the only one who thinks this way
-
TBH, I thought the last good COD was WAW.

I like that idea, like a Cloud Atlas sort of deal
-
Now that I think about it. That would be pretty cool.
-
Maybe I should work for Sledgehammer or Treyarch. XD
*sends application*
And like, the older guns like the M1903 Springfield does more base damage and recoils less because of the higher weight than a lightweight future rifle, and the emp grenades effect future soldiers, but not the past war soldiers. Likewise, the past soldiers don't have advanced weapons, but have more brutal methods, like bayonets, flame throwers, and demolitions. Basically, dirtier warfare that makes it harder to control the map in certain situations. However, future soldiers would have better reconnaissance. Now imagine a future soldier acting as a sentinel for a WWII soldier to breach a room. Why the American soldier? No fancy gadgets giving a location signal to track. The WWII soldier armed with a Thompson is given the all clear by the future soldier using a device that scans the room with echolocation. Goes in, kills bad guy, team wins. There would be some interesting mechanics.

You should totally do that
*sends you support*

We need a multiverse COD.
