Title: What if I started a group RP? Would anyone join?
Post by: Kiiba on October 22, 2015, 01:35:38 AM
Djambo!

Before I begin, I'd like to enforce that when I say "furry": I mean furry, scaly, Otherkin or Therian. It's just a hassle to mention all of those groups every time I have to add them in.

The title is pretty self-explanatory. I'm thinking of starting a semi-literate to literate RP called "I Bless the Rains". It's about my fursona[Kiiba] being kicked from aeir tyrranical pride for being agender, and ae are left to fend for aemself outside the only furry reserve in Zimbabwe. Kiiba takes a flight[in disguise and in anthro form, of course; furries are frowned upon outside of aeir reservation] to the United States, where furries have become more accepted and respected as a lifestyle and as a fandom. Being a foreign furry, but fluent in British English, ae meet furries like aem in a convention and become friends with this group ae found at the coventions. They show Kiiba around to the places in town where furries are free to be who they really are; like furry bars, clubs, stores...you get the gist, just like little sub-communities dedicated to these wonderful lives.

I'm not sure if romance will happen with Kiiba, considering aeir agenderness, but you guys could totally be in relationships with each other if you want; maybe form mates[in the RP]!

Just interested if anyone wants to try this with me.

Thanks!

The point of a roleplay is that there is no main character--every character is on the same plane and the story doesn't focus on one person, but rather the group's interactions as a whole.

That plot would be much better if it was made into a story instead of a RP. I like the concepts, though, but there's no point to an RP if only one or a few characters are in the spotlight.
