So, brewed this one up at work. Takes place on an entire planet who's environment is the same as...well..Red Dead Redemption's play area. More to the north is nothing but ice and mountains, the south is nothing but desert. Small towns popped up around the middle, with a few reaching into the north and south.
Lore-
Way back in the year 3131, Jebidiah A. Criddel (pronounced Cry-Del) set out to find a planet all to his own. He found this dusty ball of nothing out near the third notch in Orion's Belt. He named the planet 'Fronteria', in respect to the old West. Droves of pioneers set out, and started to colonize. And everything the west had followed. From bandits to snake-oil salesmen, everything fell into place.
Speaking of snake oil salesmen, you're probably wondering 'why with a twist of Le-MON?' Well, when ol' Jebidiah bought the farm, he left his fortune, fame, and what all else he had to a man named Lee Morgan Groves. A moneymaker at heart, Lee decided to pave his way with his patented brand of medicine. "Lee Grove's Healing Tonic" took Fronteria by storm, giving men the strength of ten, healing all wounds and ills, et cetera. And it worked, but with disastrous, and effects. Everything from telekinetic powers to extra limbs sprang up all over the place. This earned the tonic the name 'Lee's Monster Juice', usually shortened to 'Le-MON juice'. And the afflicted are shunned to towns way out in the middle of nowhere, where the inhabitants scorn the non-mutated. Kinda all went to pot, after the first few years.
...Also, all weapons are styled in the same fashion of the Old West, with a little more flair, like Borderlands.
A mutated family of raccoons became the most feared group of bandits on Fronteria. These raccoons were Rayleonarde, Jayce, Ronnie, and Valentine.
This is where you, dear players, start your journey. You're tasked by the family of Jebidiah Criddel to find these raccoons, and bring them to justice, preferably alive.

Backstory: He was raised a fighter, from the day he was born. He was born into a league of assassins known as the "El-Kinas" .His family forced him into experimentation with the new "Lee's Monster juice," which caused him to mutate to have different species. It also made his muscles harder and bigger, making him an even stronger fighter. Along with this, his family also forced him to get an implant in both his eye and his brain, which makes him see faster than most people can. All this comes together to make a ruthless killer. The El-Kinas were eventually destroyed at their base and Al ran away into the wilds, to carve himself out a new future. He now roams the deserts with his weapons, taking up bounties and seeing every one [so far] through.
Mutation: Eagle wings on his back which he can glide with, and a slightly hunched forward back due to his monkey side. His muscle density is also bigger as well as the muscles themselves

((Oh my god those weapons)):o
-
((Thank Zarconite for the outlines. I did the colouring, but he put in a lot of the harder work, drawing outlines from real images ^_^ . I just want to note, Al won't be able to participate in the RP for the entirety of the coming week, due to my absence. So, I'll have to come in at a later date >.> ))

((Zarco is somewhat fed up with the way things are run here, and he mostly just upped and left. He does come on occasionally, but don't expect a flurry of posts on consecutive days at this point))

(Aww that's sad. I really liked him, any clue of what he's mad about?)

(I don't know, i'm not very well versed with the administration of the forums)

((Hey everyone, sorry for not responding for a few, even though it's been only a day or so.))
These are the character sheets of the four targets
MAIN CHARACTERS (TARGETS)
Name: Rayleonarde "Ray" Blackburn (The Fastest Pops on Fronteria)
Age: 19
Species: Raccoon
Gender: Male
Appearance: Purple furred. Wears a black leather duster, no shirt, and a pair of black leather pants. Dusty red boots adorn his feet.
Weapons: Six nine-shot revolvers.
Extra(mounts, backstory, mutation (if applicable) ): Ray was sent to Fronteria in a cargo ship by accident, as he and his family were hiding out from the police. When they reached Fronteria, Ray was the last of the group to drink Le-MON juice, and is the kindest of the group. The juice mutated Ray to have six arms, and he double-fists his six revolvers. He often will 'dump mags' at targets, firing quickly but inaccurately, which earned him the title 'Fastest Pops on Fronteria'.
(END LOG)
(START LOG)
Name: Jayce Blackburn (Cruel Paw of Fate)
Age: 21
Species: Raccoon
Gender: Male
Appearance: Just like Ray, but wears a deep green suit, and his boots are a dirty yellow.
((I forgot to mention, the officials want the right ear and the boots of each target as kill confirmation.))
Weapons: Jayce carries a seven-barreled buffalo rifle, and earned himself the title 'Cruel Paw of Fate'.
Extra: Jayce was the head of the Blackburn family, and led their 'excursion' to Fronteria. Jayce was the first to drink the Le-MON juice (due to a broken right paw), and his mutation made him very VERY tall, and extremely lanky, almost Slenderman-like proportions. It also made his paws very steady, which allowed for nearly five MILE shots with his rifle. These shots are what earned him the title 'Cruel Paw of Fate'
(LOG END)
(LOG START)
Name: Ronnie Blackburn (Two Gun Son)
Age: 23
Species: Raccoon
Gender: Male
Appearance: Purple furred, but unlike Ray or Jayce, Ronnie is a veriatable mountain of muscle (look at Steroids from Nuclear Throne for an idea). He wears a very torn, and very strained, orange leather vest, and aquamarine boots.
Weapons: Ronnie carries two guns of Jayces design, and are little more than giant revolver-cannons (they're like stupid-huge revolvers). Ronnie has also torn his enemies in half, but not often (says it makes him sick)
Extra: Ronnie...is not smart. He was second to drink the Le-MON juice, which explains his massive stature. Ronnie also likes to pole around in a mine-cart, which he lifted from an abandoned mine-shaft. He earned the title "Two Gun Son" as he usually carries his twin revolvers in combat.
(LOG END)
(LOG START)
Name: Valentine Blackburn (The Black Widow)
Age: 22
Species: Raccoon
Gender: Female
Appearance: Purple furred, and as one might say 'Voluptuous'. She was voted prettiest in the colony she lived in with her brothers. She wears a crimson leather duster, and a muted crimson dress. Her boots are midnight black, and have enough blood-stains to make most men queasy.
Weapons: Valentine carries a double-barreled shotgun, and bottles of acid made from her own spit, as her mutation allows.
Extra: Valentine was the third of the group to drink the Le-MON juice, and got the least transformative mutation. Her teeth sharpened to near-broken glass state, and her saliva became deadly, like a spider's venom. She earned the title 'Black Widow' when she killed three of the mayoral council in one town with a bite each, after an 'after-hours meeting'.
(LOG END)
((Sorry for the info dump, but I figured it'd be better than four separate posts. And that's a shame about Zarco, a real shame.))
-
(It's alright)
-
((We can start whenever you guys feel ready.))
-
(I'm ready whenever everyone else is)
-
((Wait for me))
Name: Crest
Age:21
Species: Dire wolf
Gender: Male
Appearance: mainly black with a trench coat in baige and some fingerless gloves
Weapons: Check signature ((made by Zarc))
Extra: Crest sneaked onto one of the ships to fronteria with nothing left for him back at home. He was never mutated though he nearly drank the Le-Mon.
-
(This is now some kind of unofficial Zarconite appreciation thread XD)
-
((Lol. Apparently so))
-
(Zarco, if you read this, you're the **censor** bomb)
-
(( amen to that. Although I don't think he's on much anymore although he was yesterday))
-
(Aw, I missed it)
-
((Yeah. Oh well you may see him again soon))
-
((Well then, by all means start. I'll jump in a little later, or run NPC's when necessary. But, I'll give you a place to start.))
The town of Hunter's Retreat was a small, bustling town of roughly 250 folks. The town sat atop a plateau, the only way up was a switchback path up the side. A landing pad, for orbital drops, sat a mile away, and stuck out like a sore thumb. Most of the townsfolk in Hunter's Retreat keep to themselves, but will speak when spoken too. How they respond, however, is based on how they're treated.
-
((Cheers rey))
*crest walked along the street calmly with a smirk to himself* hmm what did I need to get again *he pondered as he jumped to the left side of the street*
-
*some sort of rift opens, and a strange man falls out and onto a sack of potato's* ugh...
-
*crest walks over, understandably, laughing loudly* w-wow.
-
*he reaches his hand out* lend a hand?

(Did everyone leave, or did I kill the thread)
-
Cecil had seen the man fall from the sky. He slowly walked up to him and the fur who was helping him on his feet. "Well, well, I wish I could say that this was strange, but I've seen MUCH stranger. So, what's your name space man?"
-
*he stands up, feeling his back* i'm vice, and this isn't quite as strange as you think *he brushed himself off*
-
"Hello Vice, I'm Cecil Jacobs. Now where exactly did you come from?
-
I came from earth, around *he thought to himself* November 2015, why?
-
((Sorry I was gone for a bit))
*crest continued laughing* oh I wish there was an instant replay
-
I'll admit, seeing a man fall from the sky onto a sack of vegetables is quite humorous.
-
*slowly stops laughing and offers to shake his hand* anyway I'm Crest. You are?
-
*he reluctantly shakes his hand* I am doctor vice, it's a pleasure to meet you. Would you mind telling me where and when I am?
-
The sherrif of Hunter's Retreat, aptly named Hunter Gambeason, approached the new comers with a smile. "Hey, new faces! Welcome to Hunter's Retreat. I'm yer sherrif, Hunter." The sherrif was an old grey fox, who's wrinkled face betrayed his age. He looked to be about 60 or so. His wrinkled paw did nothing to help hiding his appearance.
-
"Your in Hunters Retreat. Today is Wednesday, spring of..." Cecil didn't know the year but he saw the sheriff and asked him. "Sheriff, what's the year?"
-
Yes, what is the year, and the planet as well. I'm a bit lost.
-
*crest sat down on the sack of potatoes taking when out and taking a bite, immediately spitting it out* oh god that was stupid. Anyway nice to meet all of you.
-
And you as well
-
so if you don't mind me asking, which I'm sure you do, what are you all doing here? *he says with a curious look and potato in hand, he takes another bite and spits it back out* it kinda grows on ya
-
Well, at the moment, i'm being introduced to the single largest group I've ever met all at once, an if I have to meet another person, I think I might considered suicide
-
*crest pauses for a moment and sighs as he takes another bite* well ain't you cheery. potato *he grabs another potato and offers it to him*
-
I think I'll pass
-
"I'm here to learn about the whereabouts of those no good 'coon bandits. It's time for them to pay for their crimes, and I'll do everything I can to bring them to justice."
-
What are you part of the law force or just some vigalantee trying to make a name for himself? *he asks him*
-
Bandits, you say? Well, I guess I could assist you, but I would need arms. *he looks around* i'm assuming a town of this nature has at least one gun store.
-
"I'm just someone who can't stand thieves and murderers. That's all"
-
That's fair enough I guess. *He says. crest smiles and points over to the gun shop across the lane* Right there. *he takes out his guns* it's where I got these. Cost a bloody fortune it did.
-
Thank you, sir. *he heads off for the shop*
-
*puts the guns back and turns back to cecil* I'll help you with the bandits *he says getting up*
-
*he enters the shop*
-
"Well thank you. I sure could use the help. I had almost thought that I'd have to drink that monster juice"
-
Monster juice? *he says but realises he's talking about le-mon*oh yeah that stuff. God I would never drink it if I could help it.

((I gotta go. Don't kill the bandits without me))
*crest yawns* anyway find me tomorrow I'm gonna sleep *sleeps on the potato bag*
-
*he steps outside with a few guns* oh, what did I miss?
-
"Not much. Say are you some kind of scientist?"
-
Well, I can kind of shift through time, but i'm not quite experienced enough to apply it yet.
-
"How much do you know about biology and genetics?"
-
Enough, but i'm not that kind of doctor.
-
"Well you see there's this... stuff out there. It's sold like soda but it actually mutates the body of the person who drinks it. The bandits that Crest and I were talking about, all of them are mutated monsters and their are plenty more mutants out there. That's what we're dealing with here."
-
How about you, what do you know?

How does that get past the government?
-
The sherrif, who had fallen asleep on his paws, snored awake, and spoke. "O-Oh..erm...s-sorry. What'd ya ask?"
-
"Government? Look around. Out here it's not illegal until you get caught.
And all I know is that unless we figure out how to turn their weapon against them, we stand very little chance."
-
Well, I guess this qualifies as one of the rare time brute force is necessary.
-
The sherrif put a paw on his gun, and thrust his thin chest out. "Hey, now! I'm the guv'mint 'round here!"
-
Yes, but it seems you require a bit of assistance, lest you be killed in your sleep in the middle of a gunfight.
-
The sherrif huffed. "Jus' 'cause an ol' man falls asleep on his feet don't mean he'll konk over in a fight."
-
Very well, I will help, none the less, however I can.

*he holds the newly purchased shotgun sideways* so is this a lever action, or, the other thing?
-
The sherrif smiled. "Well, thanks fer that, friend. Need more paws than jus' my own."
-
*the gun fires off to the side* **censor** hell!
-
The sherrif blinked, stumbled backwards clutching his chest. He fell, and gasped.
-
*he looks down* oh **censor**, come on. Once, I'd like to fall into a town and not kill someone!
-
A few townsfolk stepped out, and sighed. The barber, one Mr. Allen Sanders, stepped forward. "Well...guess it was his time. Poor old bastard." The townsfolk lifted the dead sherrif, and took him to the undertaker, while Sanders stayed put. "So, which one a' ya killed the poor man?"
-
I swear, it was completely accidental.
-
Sanders put his paws up. "Now now, it's fine. A misfire isn't your fault. But, there's a custom to this town." The bear reached into his pocket, and pulled out a badge. "Yer the new sherrif."
-
Yes, well, that's lovely, but i'm afraid i'm not exactly qualified.
-
Sanders chuckled. "A shame, 'cause you're in it now. We can't elect a sherrif, 'cause the upstarts'll shoot 'im. Gotta be a cold blooded killer, and the way it looks? You fit the bill." He stepped forward, and began to pin the badge on Vice's lapel. "Y'can deputize someone later, 'kay?"
-
Alright, I see, i'll be your sheriff. But I'd like it if someone could train me to, maybe, know what the hell i'm doing.
-
Sanders smiled. "Alright, training begins. Keep an eye on the town, and shoot the bad guys. Training over." He patted Vice's shoulder, and walked away.
-
*he stared blankly* alright, I've got two options: stay here and get my ass handed to me, or shift of to god knows where and probably get my ass handed to me.
Post Merge: October 11, 2015, 09:48:25 PM
*he looks over at Cecil* any insight?
-
Sanders shouted over his shoulder. "You'll pick up on it!" He chuckled, as he stepped into his shop.
-
*he shouts* is there anyone in this town who can shoot a gun?
Post Merge: October 11, 2015, 10:00:23 PM
Anyone?
Post Merge: October 11, 2015, 10:07:21 PM
I'll pay handsomely
-
"I could teach you, but you're not gonna like it," a voice said behind Vice. The voice was quiet, but definitely female.
-
*he turns around* thank you ma'am, thank you, for being the one person in this town not to screw me over.
-
Before Vice was a female raccoon, purple as you'd like. She was a shapely figure, obscured only by a crimson leather duster. She smiled, and offered Vice her paw. "Well, come with me. And we'll learn ya how to shoot." She winked, smiling.
-
*he follows* alright
-
A shot rang out, and the raccoon bolted, dropping Vice's paw. She ran to a nearby horse, and rode into the distance.
The shooter, Sanders, walked up to Vice. "You're not very intelligent, are ya son?"
-
I'm just new here. Who was that?
-
Sanders whistled qiuetly. "Boy howdy, you ain't smart. That was Valentine Blackburn. One of the four meanest muties out there." He sighed. "The Blackburns know the sherrif's gone, and a wet-eared kid's protecting this town." Sanders sighed, and rubbed his head. "Shoot..."
-
*he pulls an odd machine of his back* should I take care of her?
-
Sanders looked at the hill, and sighed. "She's gone. Hunting her down'll cost you dearly." He turned, and threw an arm over Vice's shoulder. "Here, we'll get you learned up." Sanders smiled, and led Vice towards the inn.
-
"After seeing your skills at shooting I'd listen to Sanders."
-
*he follows, ashamed* that would be best.
-
"And I'd better come with you to make sure you don't kill anyone else."
-
I don't think that's the best idea. So far I haven't fired a shot without killing someone. I don't want to be two for two at your expense.
-
Sanders nodded. "C'mon. Ell'll let us use the firing range."
-
*he follows*
-
Sanders nodded, and stepped into the inn. A massive hippopotamus, female, smiled at Sanders and Vice. "I'm guessin' ya'll be wantin' the range?" She tossed a key to Sanders. "G'head."
Sanders smiled, and led Vice to a trap door, locked to the floor with a massive cast-iron lock. The bear unlocked the door, and threw it open. "There, go on down, I'll meet you soon. Gotta get the ammo."
-
(Sorry, family would not leave me alone)
So, before we shoot at anything, how do these guns work? *he hands you a revolver with a gas cylinder inside*
-
Cecil didn't follow. "Sanders'll make sure that guy doesn't leave as a terrible shot," he said to himself. He had other things to do anyway while the two were gone. There was another quack Cecil was looking for: Donny Cunningham, Dr. Ham was a geneticist who spent his career studying Le-Mon. Rumor had it that the swine somehow made his own version that improved strength, speed, and dexterity without turning you into a freak. Cecil didn't believe it for a second. But he at least wanted to go talk to the hog.
-
Sanders shrugged, and pointed it at the targets. "Take it, and point it what you want dead. That's how they work." He pointed the gun towards the targets, and fired. "See?"
-
I get that much *he takes the gun and steadies it, firing and missing by a few inches*
Post Merge: October 12, 2015, 01:45:36 AM
Was that good?
-
Sanders chuckled. "Take a breath, friend. Calm yourself."
-
*he calmed down and took a deep breath. He fired, missing by millimeters*
-
Sanders smiled. "Yer gettin' better. Keep at it." He patted Vice's shoulder, and took a seat.
Outside, the sun began to dip beneath the horizon. On the hill Valentine crossed, two figures laid behind it, their heads barely peaking above the crest of the hill. They seemed to be watching the town, waiting.
-
*he froze, focused. He fired and hit dead on*
Post Merge: October 12, 2015, 03:02:38 AM
*he smiled* damn, I though I was hopeless
-
Dr. Ham's place was easy to find as it was very large, larger than Cecil was expecting, and larger than any other doctor's house he'd seen. "Maybe he's actually done it." Cecil said under his breath. He want in and was immediately greeted by the pig. "Why hello there customer! I know exactly what you're here for." He pulled out a glass bottle of blue liquid. "Here it is, I call it 'Dr. Cunningham's Miracle Cure!'. Just 30 bucks and you'll be feeling like a million! So what do you say?" He asked. Cecil walked to Donny and spoke to him sternly. "Just give it to me straight; does this stuff work or not? Have you tested it on anyone? Do you know exactly what happens when someone drinks this?" The pig paused, then spoke.
"Well I haven't tested it, but I'm certain-"
-"Certain isn't good enough! You can't just sell a product without testing it! That makes you just as bad as the man who first created it!" Cecil yelled. There was a silence in the room, it was broken by the doctor. "Your right, your right. But come on! No one would be willing to drink this stuff! Unless... maybe you'd like to be the first to try it. It won't cost a dime, I promise."
-
The figures shifted slightly, and dissappeared behind the hill.
-
Now *he holds up the shotgun* what about this?
-
Cecil paused, he would be able to save his money at least. "No, no way. I am NOT going to drink that stuff. I'm out of here, have a nice day." Cecil said, and he stormed out. He couldn't believe that he had wasted his time. He would never drink that poison, never! He was a perfectly good fighter on his own, plus he had a team willing to help him take down those bandits. He didn't need Le-Mon, or the "Miracle Cure". Cecil headed back to where Vice and Sanders were.
-
*he walks out of the inn with his newfound skill and sees Cecil* oh, hello again
-
"Hey, so you can fire a gun at a target. That's very nice and all, but what do you plan to do when the target is moving? Or when it has it's own gun? Shooting a target is easy, shooting a person is completely different. You remember that."
-
Well, I might be able to slow time to get the perfect shot, but I don't know how to do that quite yet.
-
*crest awakes on the potato sack with a really bad back. He notices everyone's gone* Where the hell is everybody! *he shouts*
-
Sanders was walking out of the barber shop, wiping blood from his paws. A customer stumbled out of the barbershop, his bicep stitched up. Sanders spotted Crest, and smiled. "Welcome to the world of the livin'. Might wanna get a bed, someone might steal yer stuff." He offered a paw to Crest.
-
*crestt blinked and took the paw* Not funny. *he clicks his back into place* besides I don't have a lot. I'm crest by the way.
-
Sanders smiled. "Sanders. I'm the barber."
-
*Crest nodded* say sanders have you seen some people looking for bandits? *he asks looking for the Dr and cecil*
-
Sanders nodded. "The new sherrif, you'll wanna meet him. He's at the inn, using the firing range. Tell Ell you're lookin' for the sherrif, she'll point you the right way."
-
*crest looked confused* new sheriff what?
-
Sanders nodded. "Yep. That new guy...never caught his name, or I forget...anyway, after the ol' sherrif, Hunter, kicked the bucket, the new guy got the job."
-
Well... Damn. *crest scratches his head* anyway. Cheers sanders I owe you one. If you need something tell me. *heads over to the inn*
-
"I'm not needin' much!" Sanders waved Crest off, chuckling. He stepped into the barbershop, waiting for customers.
A stranger rolled into town, wearing a black-leather outfit, their face obscured with a rag.
-
*crest entered the inn as he ordered a drink from the bar and sat down, deciding to wait a bit before meeting the dr*
-
Cecil went in the tavern. He saw Crest sitting at a table and joined him. "There you are. Where did you go?"
-
*Crest growled* I never left. You were the one that left me on the sack of potatoes *he says angrily and sighs* I so wanted to beat up some bandits *he sulks*
-
The stranger stepped into the inn, and sat at an empty table. The air seemed to tense, as soon as the stranger entered.
-
*crest looks at the stranger and gulps, he had a feeling he was gonna be trouble but was scared to start anything, despite havering a good grip on his guns*
-
Cecil only took slight note of the stranger. If anything happened he could take care of it. Besides, he was in a fighting mood. He needed to do something to assure himself that he didn't need to be a mutant to take care of things.
-
*he shrugs it off and turns back to Cecil* anyway did you take care of those bandits cause I really want to fight something. *he says his voice slightly lowered*
-
"Nah, we haven't even started hunting them down yet. But I'm pretty sure when Vice gets here we'll begin."
-
*crest sighs in relief* thank god I thought I missed the action *he says taking a sip of his drink* so what's happened when I was out?
-
"Well Vice shot the sheriff, so now HE'S the sheriff. Sanders took him out back to teach him how to shoot a gun. Meanwhile, I gave that idiot swine Dr. Cunningham a visit. He tried to sell me his version of Le-Mon. I'll be honest, I almost bought it... but I didn't, and here I am."
-
*crest stared at Cecil for a few good seconds before he bangs his head on the table* I miss all the good stuff *he complains*
-
"Well at least you're here now. Once the "sheriff" gets here the fun stuff will begin.
-
*crest rubs his head and puts a thumb up* great I need to kill something*
-
Did I hear talk of a sheriff? *he steps out of a saloon, or whatever they have* i'm the sheriff.
-
*crest chuckles* hey potato sack how's it going *he asks still rubbing his head*
-
I'm fine, and I beleive you're more deserving of the title 'potato sack', seeing as how you spent last night on it.
-
Well unlike you I haven't got a job *he says somewhat spitefully* anyway I was tired and it was there.
-
Well, if your unemployed *he pulls a small badge* welcome to the force.
-
*crests eyes widen suddenly* r-really? Th-that was quick. *he says taking the badge and smiling at it* look at that. Cheers Doc. *he says looking at him*
-
You're welcome, *he looks off at the hill* I'll need all the help i can get.
-
*he smirks * and I'm willing to give it. *he stops smiling * I don't have to wear a uniform do I?
-
Just the badge, and your normal attire. Do you have a gun?
-
*he pulls out both his guns* ha , please I've got two *he says smiling once more*
-
Perfect. *he turns to Cecil* what about you?

*crest gets up and heads to the bathroom* excuse me *he goes into the bathroom but comes back shortly after and sits down as he waits for Cecil's reply*
-
The stranger ordered a glass of water, and sighed loudly.
-
*he searched himself* damnit, I left it at the range *he starts walking off to the inn* ill see you in a minute.
-
*nods and turns to the stranger* so what's your problem? *he asks with groggy eyes*
-
The stranger shrugged. "Nothing much, a little mutation, a few gunfights." He took a sip of his drink, and sighed. "People sticking their noses where they don't belong."
-
*he comes back over. A strange device on his back* alright, bandit hunting, should we go? *he looked at the stranger* who is this guy?
-
(Sorry I was out for a while. I'm back now.)
The stranger finally caught Cecil's attention. "Your a mutant? I wouldn't have guessed. What's your mutation?"
-
The stranger sighed. "What part of 'where their nose doesn't belong' don't you folks understand."
-
"Fine, have it your way." Cecil said, and he walked over to Vice. "I'm ready, let's go. I wanna take down some bandits today."
-
Perfect *he hands him a badge* you have been deputized.
Post Merge: October 12, 2015, 10:55:13 PM
Now, where's the car? *he looked around*
-
Cecil puts on the badge then looks at Vice, puzzled. "A car? You have a car? How? You just got here!"
-
Oh, no, I meant the car you guys... There is no car, is there?
-
"I'm afraid not. Do you know how to ride a horse?"
-
No, I'm afraid I don't, but I'm a fast learner.
-
"Ehh, it's fine you can just sit behind me. If Crest is ready, we'll go right now."
-
Alright, and when we get back, I might be able to put something together. *he went over to the bar and ordered a beer*
-
The stranger sighed, and stood up. "See ya'll later." He started out the door.
-
(Sorry I was gone)
*crest nodded* ready when you guys are. *he sipped on his drink, while putting a few coins in the strangers pocket hopefully without him noticing*
-
"Okay then. My horse is just outside. Vice, we'll share, you got a horse Crest?"
(Don't worry about being late, it happens.)
-
*Crest blinks* No. But I can ride a horse *he explains* I can get one somewhere I'm sure.
-
The stranger stood, and started out of the inn. As he stood, his coat moved far enough to expose his red boots.
-
((Oh wow. Is it too late... To join? I mean, I'm gonna stalk the threat for a day to see what's going on, but I had to ask.))
-
((Nope. Anytime's fine. Nothing's really happened.))
-
Cecil catches the slightest glance of the fur's boots and instantly becomes intrigued. "Jeez! You've got some fancy boots there! They must've costed you a fortune!"
-
*looks to the stranger* damn... Can I have them? *he jokes and gets up* anyway I'm gonna go here a horse bye *goes on a search for a horse.*
-
As Crest left, Cecil stayed at the bar, he was still waiting for Vice. He was also very interested in the stranger, people just don't have red boots. "So whats the story? How'd you get those?"
-
*he started after crest, turning to Cecil* let's go

-
"All right. Let's get out of here." Cecil said and he turned his attention away from the stranger. He exited the bar.
-
The stranger stepped from the bar, and wandered out of town. He had learned what he wanted to know.
Sanders stepped from his shop, and gasped when he spotted the stranger, more specifically his boots. "Sound the alarm! Blackburn in town!"
The stranger flinched, and broke out into a sprint.
-
"Hey! Stop!" Cecil said. Then he pulled it out: his gun of his own design. It was a pistol, but it had a long muzzle, a large barrel, (for heavy duty bullets) and a sight. Cecil ran for the crook, whil aiming his gun and firing at the raccoon.
(Awww man, don't stop the rp for me, but I've got to go. I'll be back soon!)
-
*crest was at some sort of stables he assumed as he saw a lot of horses* Hmm which one to... 'Borrow' *he sees a horse which is an odd coloured red with a few white splodges* that's the one *he walks over and take her by the reign* easy girl I'm your new owner *he takes him out and saddles onto him* atta girl tesco atta girl *he rides back into town*
-
The stranger shed the mask, and turned, brandishing a revolver. The bullet heading his way pierced through his coat, and grazed his chest. Ray, as this was the stranger, began to shoot at his aggressor.
-
*he pursued the raccoon* stop firing *he pulled out his gun and fired a warning shot* I am not playing.
-
*crest rode in and found the stranger* run tesco run *he said making her run just up to Vice* hey doc who's this guy? *he asks*
-
One of the bandits, I presume. Sanders pointed him out. You should take cover.
-
*crestt smirks* not a chance I wanna do something. *Slows tesco down and jumps off him* you ready doc, Cecil? *he said trying to hide his fear with confidence*

Name: Aconitum Lovien
Age: 19
Species: Jackal
Gender: Female
Appearance: She's tall and extremely, almost sickeningly thin (her ribs and spine are always showing) with long slightly muscular legs. The fur on her body is a dark-grey, almost black, while the fur on her face is a slightly lighter shade of grey. Her alien green hair is kept long and hip length, done into a smooth lady pompadour. Acon's tail is long, fur less and whip like with thin green stripes on the base and tip of it to match her hair. The inside of her mouth and nose, her extremely long claws, paw pads, teeth and eyes are all the same green as well. She's covered in burn scars and the liquid that caused them always leaks from her mouth, nostrils and the gill like openings over her ribs.
(She also has a shit tone of piercings, but that's just too long of a list.)
Her outfit, but without the goggles cause I feel like otherwise it kinda sorta fits. If not, I'll change it.
Weapons: anything she can get her paws on, really. But she mostly enjoys using her claws and teeth.
Extras: Her entire appearance is her mutation, really. If any of y'all know Acon, you know what she is and you know what she does.
-
I hope so, this bandit isn't joking. *he fired at Ray*
-
*crest nods and does the same* so. This came outta no where.
-
Completely. This guy was just drinking water and now he's shooting at us. *a bullet wizard by his head* shit *he ducks behind cover*
-
Damn *he fires but hits a sign, a bullet then grazes his shoulder * damn it *he shouts and hides behind cover*
-
*he pulls the device off his back* hold on...
-
*crest stares at vice* What the hell is that?
-
Ray took cover behind a barrel next to a few crates, and shouted out. "I just wanna leave!"
-
Leave? Where? *he shouts * were in a middle of a gun fight!
-
"Wanna go home!" Ray took a pot-shot towards the voice, and scrabbled farther away, towards the outskirts of town.
-
Then let us take you in for questioning, and we'll let you go. *he readies the device* *wispers* This is a physics manipulation device.
-
Acon was passing though, her long tail dragging lazily along in the dirt when she heard the sounds of guns firing and shouting.
-
A what? *he asks but ends up ignoring him* screw this *charges after ray*
-
Ray stepped out of cover, and began to walk backwards. With a flick of his arms, four others grew from his shoulders. He drew all six of his revolvers, and began to fire at an amazing rate, putting a lot of bullets down range.
-
*crest takes cover again but has blood over him* ahhhh this is some op Bulls£@"
-
No, you fool. *he fired the device and a beam of heat melted the sand next to him*
-
Ray blinked as his guns clicked empty. He holstered all but one weapon, and ran for the hills.
-
*he chases Ray* follow him!
-
After a moment of following the noise, Acon stumbled upon the group. Having missed the bulk of the action, she didn't make herself heard or make a move to try and join in. She just stood and watched.
-
*crest grabbed the weapon he fogort and put it in his coat pocket* mine now * follows after him*
-
Ray glanced back, and began to sprint as fast as possible. As he started up one hill, it was obvious he was flagging. However, another figure stepped atop the hill, a massive purple raccoon in an orange vest. His weapons were so incredibly massive, that most of the townsfolk ran into the basements of their homes. The massive raccoon leveled the weapons off at Ray's pursuers, and shouted, his voice reminiscent of a massive brass bell. "Stop!"
-
*he stopped dead in his tracks* that seems a bit overkill.
-
Ray staggered over the hill, and Ronnie, the massive raccoon protecting him, started backwards, his guns trained on the pursuers.
-
*crest did one final shot and began to walk back he noticed acon* hey how you doing?
-
The bullet hit Ronnie, but didn't seem to affect him. In fact, the shot flattened against his shoulder, and dropped to the ground.
-
Acon turned her glowing green eyes towards Crest and flashed him a wide smile. "Hello. What on earth are you lot doing to that poor raccoon?"
-
He's no poor raccoon lady, he was trying to kill us.
-
Acon raised a brow at the other fur. "Trying to kill you? That little scrawny thing?"
-
Yes, that thing. He had a gun. *he held out his paw* I'm doctor vice, and, as of this morning, the sheriff.
-
Acon shook her head, keeping her paws on her hips. "I wouldn't. But, it's a pleasure to meet you Sheriff Vice. You'll have to excuse me for not shaking your hand, you touch can be a bit... Poisonous."
-
*he retracts his paw slowly* alright, i see. Could someone please tell my why there are so many damn mutants around here? *he looked at Acon* no offense.
-
Acon waved a paw nonchalantly in the air. "None taken." She chipped
-
Who are you exactly?*his paw moved to his gun*
-
Acon shrugged. "I guess that depends on whether or not you've heard of Aconitum Lovien, ex-mass murderer gone bounty huntress."
-
Actually, I just got here a few hours ago, so no, I haven't, but you sound interesting.
-
Acon chuckled. "Then I suppose I should tell you, I'm nothing to be trusted. However, for a pretty penny, I could very well become your closest friend." She teased. "What are you doing here anyways? You said you only just arrived today?"
-
Well *he whispers* i'm a time traveler. And i'm a bit lost, to be honest.
-
Acon furrowed her brow. "I'm sorry? I could have sworn you just said you were a... Time traveler?"
-
I did, and I am. I don't quite have the hang of it yet though.
-
Acon nodded slowly as she eyed Vice skeptically. She was pretty sure he was on something or at least hurt himself bad enough to go mad, but she didn't want to start accusing him of being insane. She learned her lesson last time a fur claimed to be something outrageous and it turned out to be true. Plus... She wasn't exactly anything normal. "Well... Practice makes perfect, yeah?"
-
Well, i'm assuming I get it right, because i've already run into myself a couple times.
-
Acon shrugged. "I wouldn't know. I've never traveled outside this time."
-
Well, when I figure it out, I'll have to take you. It really is something else. I'm not sure if that would work though.
-
(Wow I didn't think I would miss that much.) Cecil, who had been close to Vice the whole time, saw the puzzled look on Acon's face. "It's true ma'am, wierd but true, I saw this guy fall straight out of the sky. By the way, pleased to meet you, my name's Cecil Jacobs."
-
Acon was about to say something when Cecil spoke up and she turned to face him. "Oh! Where'd you come from?" She looked at the two for a moment before she shook her head. "'Nevermind. Anyways, the names Aconitum Lovien."
-
Cecil turned to Vice. "So the bandits got away huh? I would've loved to take down that big one."
-
Acon smiled, placing a paw on her chin. "It almost looked like the big one was protecting the littler one."
-
"There's a whole family of those crooks. they ride around, stealing and killing. Someone's got to stop them. Me, Vice, and Crest, plan to bring them to justice."
-
We could use your help, if you don't mind.
-
"After what happened back there. It's obvious now that we need all of the help we can get."
-
Absolutely, we could pay you eventually.
-
Acon crossed her slender arms over her chest and shrugged. "I don't know~ I'd love to help, but I simply cannot grantee my services unless payment was an absolute definite."
-
Yo will be paid, probably after the bandits are dealt with.
-
Acon sighed. "Probably.' She hissed, hating that word with a passion when it came to her money. "Fine. I suppose I'll help, but I warn you. I charge by the day. So lets say... 200 or so in coin every day they aren't captured. Of course, I can negotiate this, but that my... i suppose default price?"
-
That's a bit much for our current funds, but i might have something in store if I remember this.
-
Acon smiled. "I'm sure you won't disappoint Sheriff."
-
"Let's not forget that each one of those bandits has a bounty on their heads higher than a house. If we catch them all, we'll be rich, all four of us."
-
Which is precisely why I can't pay you yet.
-
"Besides, I could care less about the money. I just want every single one of those murderers locked away forever. So they can't hurt anyone anymore."
-
I'm only here because I owe these people.
-
Acon smirked. "Well, everyone's in the game for something, I suppose."
-
"Speaking of everyone, where's Crest? Is he with us?"
-
*he looked around* I'm not sure where he is.
-
"Regardless, we should start heading in the direction the bandits took off from. We can't let them get too far ahead."
-
Well, if you give me a few hours, I might be able to make this a lot easier.
-
Acon sighed. "You two, do your thing. I'm going to start off on their trail." She called over her shoulder as she started walking
-
Alright, but be cautious, they are very dangerous.

*he walks off looking for a blacksmith or something like it*
-
Acon sighed, flipping a strand of hair from her face. "Then I suppose I'll be in for a fun time." She said to herself with a sly grin.
-
As the sun dipped beneath the sky, the Blackburns were seated around a campfire. Ray was on his side, treating the graze he got. Jayce and Ronnie were trying to cook dear while Valentine was seated on a high rock, keeping lookout.
-
*he turns to Cecil* does this town have a blacksmith or a mechanic?
-
Sanders wandered out of his barbershop. "A gunsmith. You'll have t'go see him." He pointed to a small brick building away from town.
-
Thank you Sanders, would you like to come? I think I'll need some help.
-
Cecil followed Acon. "Vice and Crest will just have to catch up." He said. He caught up with the jackal. "I'm going to come with you, it's foolish to think you can take them all on yourself."
-
Acon sighed loudly when she finally made it over the hill. Her ears swiveled around, listening to every sound around her.
-
*he took off for the gunsmith, brewing up an idea*
-
Cecil stood next to Acon. He was sniffing the air, "they couldn't have gotten far. If we just keep moving we'll run into them sooner or later."
-
Acon smiled and gave Cecil a single nod before she kept moving, her coat and tail dragging along behind her. "You're right. I just want to be as careful as possible."
-
Cecil smiled as the two kept moving. "So where are you from exactly?"
-
Acon shrugged. "I don't know. When I was younger, my father traveled a lot and he took me with him. We never stayed anywhere for long and he didn't like to talk about my mother so... I just never learned."
-
"I'm just a wanderer as well. I've been to a lot of places and seen a lot of... things. I'll tell ya, that stuff, Le-Mon, I've seen it do horrible things to good people... and yet, I know that if I drink it I'll become stronger. I, I don't know. I'm terrified of what it might do to me."
-
Acon shrugged again as she pulled on a pair of leather gloves and pat Cecil's shoulder. "If you're prepared for one nasty side affect, then it might not be as bad as you think. I don't know... I think I thought the same as you before, but... Everyone reacts to it differently."
-
Name: Yena
Age: Unknown
Species: Grey wolf with a hint of Mightyena
Gender: Female
Appearance: A wolf-ish look, but slender, and anthro. She has Mightyena stripes all over her body.
Weapons: Ruby Rose's red scythe, complete with a fully customizable sniper rifle, and is blue.
-
"So you're one too..." Cecil said, and there was a long pause as he looked at Acon's body, he could see it now. Her abnormally thin build, her razor sharp teeth and claws. "But you're different, you didn't become insane. Your mind was untouched. Why do think that is?"
-
*he requested many parts made by the gunsmith, assembling a great work for under these circumstances*
-
Acon shrugged. "I don't know. I guess you could say I kinda got clean? I don't know about me being sane though. Just... Probably better at hiding my insanity?"
-
*he continued working*
-
"I guess we're all a little insane in our own way. Just look at me: a perfectly fine mouse, and yet, there's this part of me that wants to be a mutant. Isn't that just crazy?"
-
I entered the town, and sighed. "Where the flippin' heck am I?" I walked further into the town, and hoped that there would be food.
-
Acon shrugged. "I suppose you could say we're all mad here."
-
I paused and heard the voice, and rushed over to it. "HELLO! HAI!"
-
Acon looked back down the hill at the fur calling out to them. "Oh yippy." She sighed.
-
"Hi, I'm lost, could you point me to the nearest info booth? I would be grateful 'til the end if ya do!!!" I quickly said before collapsing and becoming a blob of fur. I was still awake, though.
-
Acon raised a brow at the fur and offered a sly grin. "I don't know about an information booth, but there's a sheriff back towards town."
-
"OH, goodness, thank you, my dear!" I said while shaking her hand before rushing on all fours to the sheriff.
-
"Well that was... different. Let's just keep moving. They must be close now." Cecil said.
-
Acon nodded. "It was. And I agree." Acon turned back around in the direction they were headed and kept moving.
-
The fire the Blackburns had started smoked lightly into the sky. Ronnie and Jayce were awake, but slipping into unconsciousness. Ray was asleep, snoring quietly. Valentine was seated on the rock, her chin resting on her knees, sleeping peacefully. In one view, they looked like murderous bandits, but in the other, they looked like lost children scraping by in the big bad world.
-
Acon's nose twitched when she caught the scent of something burning and licked her lips. "I think we're close."
-
I found the sheriff's office, peeked my head in, and called out, "Hello? Herro?"
-
Sanders, spying Yena at the sherrif's office, smiled, and approached. "Hey, friend. Sherrif's not in. Him and the deputy's gone hunting for the Blackburns.
-
I quickly made a surprised look, then fell to the floor, licking my paws swiftly, and woofing quietly. A second after, I got up and said "Sorry 'bout that, I usually just do that when I get in a rush. Oof... why did I get the worst.... time..."
-
Sanders blinked, and shook his head. "A-Anyway, the sherrif's gone after a coupla bandits. I think he's got a deputy with 'em."
-
After just a little while more of walking, Acon could see the glow of a camp fire not too far ahead. She cracked a thin lipped smile and chuckled softly. "Got ya."
-
"Well, could'ga tell me where I am? I am kinda scared, and interested, and fascinated..."
-
Cecil smelled the smoke and saw the fire. "Alright. Let's start moving in real quitely," he said, as he pulled out his pistol.
-
Acon placed a gloved paw on Cecil's shoulder. "Wait. Let's see what their about before we go causing a ruckus over criminals we don't even fully understand."
-
Ronnie fell to the side with a resounding thud. Valentine stirred, but didn't awaken. Jayce sat up, and looked drowsily about, his rifle in his lap. Ray stirred fitfully, his wound smarting. Jayce spoke quietly, to no-one in particular. "You're gonna need medicine." He sighed, and his head drooped. "I-I'll get you some before the week's out."
-
Acon narrowed her eyes at the glow in the distance and sighed. "Maybe..." She paused. "No. We need to be careful. We can't just underestimate them, but... We can't just hit them with all we have while they're not looking."
-
*you see a column of dust and smoke from over a hill*
-
"Why not they'd do the same to us." Cecil said, but his attention then turned to the dust cloud behind him and Acon. "What's that?"
(I'm out for the night guys. see ya)
-
Acon turned around to face the cloud and rolled her eyes. "What now?"
-
Jayce fell asleep, his chin dipped near his chest.
-
*you see the top of a horse drawn carriage, but no horses. It looks heavily modified with a combustion engine and a mounted gun*
-
The noise of the engine roused Valentine, and she looked around. Spotting the column of dust rising in the air, she roused her brothers. "We've been made boys! Let's get outta here!" Jayce blinked, and roused Ronnie as Valentine helped Ray to his feet. Ronnie started to trundle away, Jayce sitting on his shoulder. Jayce kept his rifle nearby, and did his best to keep Valentine and Ray safe. Ray looked like he was in pain, and Valentine had to help him move.
-
*the beastly machine stops in front of Cecil and acon, a door opening* pursuit anyone?
-
Acon sighed and shook her head. "Cecil, you go with Vice. I'll keep up on foot."
-
*he gestured to the back seat* man the gun.
-
"With pleasure. I gotta say Vice, I thought you were a joke at first, but now I'm impressed. You did good, REAL good."
-
As I waited for the sheriff in the saloon, I politely asked for a sarsaparilla.
-
It's alright, I wouldn't trust a man who fell from the sky either, unless it were me.
-
((What the hell happened in my absence?))
-
((Vice made a machine, two people joined, one is at the bar and another is with us. we're just about to raid the Blackburn camp. You can just hop in right now I'm pretty sure.))
-
((Cheers))
*Crest walked into the bar with a dislocated soldier* Alcahol please *he shouts as he sits down on a stool*
-
*he starts moving the vehicle* let's go.
-
"Alright, I guess stealth isn't an option with this big thing. Let's just blow 'em to bits!"
-
Acon had started off not too long ago and was in hot pursuit of the Blackburns in a matter of minutes. She was careful to not let on that she was close.
-
*his alcohol came and he downed as he proceeded to pop his shoulder back into place* god damn this hurts *he winces*
-
*they took a slightly different route, as not to draw attention to acon*
-
((Oh one quick question who are the black burns again?))
*crest got up and went to search for vice for a job* okay doc where are you?
-
((Ray has a sheet for all of them on the first page I think... It's easier to just read it rather than one of us explaining it.))
-
((Oh those guys we chased at the hill. Got it))
-
((Blackburns are the bandits.))
"Acon can probably to some major damage all by herself. What'd you say we just cover her while she does her thing?"
-
*Crest kept searching for vice but couldn't find him, he ended up asking someone who told him they were out chasing the blackburns* bandit chasing without me oh he is gonna get a punch. Where did they go?
-
I'm not sure I trust her abilities, I don't know what she can do. *he keeps focused*
-
*He gets the directions and gets on his horse* lets go TESCO *went in there direction but a lot slower*
-
"Well she sure seems confident. She's mutant too if you haven't noticed. I just think she has a plan of her own. Let's try not to ruin it."
-
Alright, but I have a plan as well, so hers best not interfere with mine *he drives faster*
-
As she neared the family, the boots on Acon's feet began to melt off and green smoke began to rise out from over her.
-
Cecil saw Acon and his envy for mutants grew. "Incredible," he whispered.
-
*was still trying to catch up* they better be here.
-
That is a very beneficial aspect of the plan. *he pulls a lever, speeding up*
-
*thought he saw them but it turned out to be a cactus which made him lose his speed*
-
*you see a column of smoke in the distance*
Post Merge: October 15, 2015, 06:37:52 PM
*he turns to Cecil* let's see if we can take one alive.
-
"That's the idea, but if they shoot, i'm shooting back."
-
Don't worry, I have a plan for that.
-
*sees them in the far distance* TESCO Rush! *he shouts as TESCO speeds up*
-
Cecil looks around. And spots a fur on a horse coming their way. "Hey Vice! I think that's Crest coming over here!" He shouted.
-
*he was slowly becoming bigger as TESCO increased in speed* god your fast
-
Jayce shouted at the top of his lungs. "Leave us alone!" He fired a shot into the air, hoping to scare off the pursuers.
-
Acon's ears twitched when she heard the shot and sighed. "They're scared." She picked up the pace and was now sprinting closer to the Blackburns.
-
"It's too late for that! You bandits!" Cecil yelled.
-
*vice looked back at him* glad you could come. Full speed. *heshifts into maximum gear**
-
I began to get restless. And scared. "Oh man... they've been gone... so long..."
-
((Alright, going to pull Al into all this now. Does everyone mind if I place Al within the blackburn camp? He's not with any of them of course))
-
((They aren't at the camp anymore. We're in a high speed chase XD ))
-
((And this is why I check with everyone first XD . Right... Plan B is having him be at the place of 0 action. The bar!))
*The doors of the bar burst open, and what looked to be a black, walking armoury stepped inside slowly. The stranger had a red mask on and carried a variety of weapons from blades to knives on him. He took a seat at one of the stools and quietly ordered some strong alcohol*
-
"Well, hello!" I said cheerfully to the strange person.
((I know I said saloon, but I meant bar. Oops...))
-
((Well, this is meant to be a Wild West themed RP. Saloon, bar, either would work :P))
*The stranger's left eye looked at whoever it was greeting him for a second, before he simply decided they weren't worth his time. He slowly removed his mask and placed it on the table, just as his alcohol came. And in the span of a few seconds, he downed the contents of a double shot glass and placed it back down on the table*
-
*he could see the blackburns, closing in on them* get ready, try to take as many alive as possible, there's a net launcher.
-
"Wow... I can't drink that fast... that was kinda cool...!"
-
*Al once again didn't pay attention to the stranger and just put his mask back on. It wasn't exactly unusual for Al to drink any form of alcohol fast, or faster than people normally would*
-
I looked away from the masked one, and blushed. I didn't think he liked me...
-
As Acon ran along close behind the Blackburns, she lifted her strong tale into the air.
-
((Careful with that. A mod'll defiantly come charging in if that drinking gets out of hand.))
-
((I know :P. Al usually only drinks to celebrate another kill. He's not one to go out of control with the drinking and the stuffs))
*Al secured his mask and let out a sigh* Al: Another day, another dead person who's death just means profit for me
-
*they get closer* you're through
-
"Are you OK? Do you need something..?" I said to him with a shy tone. I wanted to be useful, and kind. I was the type who would do anything to make someone feel better.
-
((Ray-gun isn't going to be online for a few days cause of internet problems or something. He'll be back as soon as he can.))
-
((Right))
*Al continued to look straight at his empty glass. His tone was fairly gruff* Al: Make yourself useful... and go annoy someone else...
-
My scent glands excrete an odor that makes me smell like vanilla.
-
*Al pulled out one of his knives, twirled it around his finger for a second before stabbing it straight through the wooden table, including the thin metal layer at the bottom. He then turns his head to give a cold and threatening glare at the stranger*
-
My eyes go black, with red pupils, and I snarl. "I ain't a force to be reckoned with, SON." I threaten to him.
-
A tall, thickly built female cat slammed a hefty bottle of drink onto the counter and offered both furs a kind, yet angry looking tight smile. "Listen, kitties. If ya can't play nice, don't play at all." She warned, her big green eyes studying the two with a threatening motherly edge.
-
I gave off a threatening look to the masked one, and nodded at the cat. "OK, but he better watch out..." a second after, I ran on all fours to the restroom. My bladder hated me.
-
*Al snickers to himself* Idiot. "I ain't a force to be reckoned with?" Best learn to speak the language. And control his bladder. And this cat... *Al's left eye turned to the cat and looked her up and down* She actually looks a bit threatening. Knows how to actually look threatening. Unlike vanilla boy over in the toilets. I might play nice... for now... *Al withdrew his knife from the table and placed it back on his belt
-
The cat's smile turned warm and large. "Good! Now, who wants a drink? On the house." She bellowed loudly.
-
((I'm female)) I come back, only to find HIM. "Oh, I'll just..." I stutter before giving a threatening glare and running out of the saloon.
-
*Al gladly took his mask off to reveal a cocky smirk* Al: Sure you can afford that... "Kitten...?"
-
Out of there, I growl to myself, "That boy is really getting on my nerves... he's lucky I didn't make his organs into cupcakes..."
-
The cat poured Al a drink and slid him the glass. "No. I'm not. But~ I AM sure I can beat the stuffing out of you if you drink me out of house and home." She chipped in a kind tone as she clasped her thick paws together in front of her belly in polite gesture. "Now hush and drink up. You look parched what with the way you keep downing your spirits."
-
*Al grabbed the drink. Free drink is free drink. You don't just turn the stuff down* Al: I'm... at least 80% certain you've drugged this... or poisoned it... but what the hey... Cheers... *Al shot the bottom of the glass straight up into the air, as he began slowly emptying it's contents into his system. After wards he gently placed it down and let out a long breath* What's your name...? Just so I don't have to keep calling you "Kitten..."
-
The cat took the glass and began pouring another drink. "You can just call me Mama. That's what everyone else around this town calls me."
-
*Al was puzzled as to why "Mama" but didn't question it* Al: Alright "Mama..." If we're going to give names... I go by a few... Nothing too recognisable in these parts though... Haven't killed enough people around here... Al... Al El-Kina... If you've been to the really far northern reaches, you may have heard of "The bloody..." once or twice....
-
I turn invisible, and phase through the saloon door with my ghost-like power. He isn't going to get the last laugh...
-
Mama shook her head. "I've not traveled outside of town too far. Ain't nothing for me out there. But it's nice you've made yourself known." She chuckled. "Even if you have managed to do it in such a gruesome way."
-
I sneak up behind the one named Al. Hehehe...
-
Al: Once again, not around these parts... As for gruesome... it's the fastest money you can earn if it's up your ally... more than half this planet is full of lawless bandits looking to kill other people... they hire me... I kill a few targets... I get paid... And then I come to bars and have myself a drink... and on a few occasions, get treated by cats with weird names... *Al chuckled and put his mask back on*
-
Mama shrugged. "Maybe accidentally bump your head on occasion too? Or have to deal with pesky ghosts?"
-
I unsheath my long, almost 6'5 claws slowly. I then whisper, "Did you think you'd get the last giggle? Well, you're dead wrong."
-
*Al's ears perked up as he heard the ghost behind him whisper* Al: Once or twice. A fairly rare power though. *Al stood up, kicking his stool back into whoever stood behind him*
-
Dodging the stool, I giggle creepily.
-
*Al wasn't sure as to whether the ghost thought he couldn't hear her or not, but either way, the giggle gave away her position. Al unsheathed his three knives into one paw, and slid them onto three of his fingers, kind of like knuckle-dusters* Al: Hey... simply because nearly pissed yourself back there... doesn't give you a massive reason to think I got a laugh in at all... *Al really didn't laugh. Not on the outside at least*
-
Dodging everything he throws at me, I deeply cut his left leg.
-
((Can we please discuss this power, as it's fairly inconsistent. If you're able to slip through walls as a ghost, why does cutting through flesh work? Also, Al never threw anything, and I'd like if you couldn't just dodge everything, considering how your power doesn't involve foresight as far as I know T_T ))
-
((When she becomes a ghost like entity, she can do whatever she wants, just like a tulpa. When she gets out of ghost mode, she is vulnerable, and technically, she dodged every move you made. Her Vent able to slice flesh works, because she is able to do WHATEVER SHE WANTS.)) I get out of ghost mode, and widen my eyes and tilt my head so far, that it looks like my neck is broken.
-
((Umm... If I had the power, I'd set up some rules, but unfortunately we'll have to wait until Ray gets back online. I just... Feel like... Let's keep meta gaming to a minimum and try to be reasonable with our dodges and blocks. We don't need a bunch of untouchable suethors running around. I swear that was meant in the most non-insulting way I could think of. XD))
-
((Its good. I got out of ghosty mode anyways)) "So, we cool? I don't wanna fight right now... I am really tired.." I say before falling unconscious.
-
((Ok, going to call a fair amount of OP there. If she's capable of doing "whatever she wants" then that basically makes her the most powerful person here. Can we organise some sort of nerf please?) *Al took a deep breath out, taking the hit well. He lifts the ghost onto the table and stabs her through the palm of her hand, pinning her there*
-
((I went out of ghost made, Al, you don't need to refer to me as a ghost)) I smile when he touches me.
-
((Nerf? I don't know what that means!! XD))
-
((Downgrade in other words. Also, I don't know your characters name. Sheet was far back))
*Al withdraws the knife and looks to the cat beside him* Alka: You wouldn't happen to have any bandages... would you...?
-
Mama shrugged. "I'll check, but I doubt they'll be any good." She ducked underneath the counter to retrieve a first aid kit type thing and handed it to Al
-
((My fursona's name is Yena)) I wake up, screaming in pain. "WHO DID THIS!?"
-
*Al patched himself up and sat down* Al: An eye for an eye... right...?
-
My eyes go back to the black/red version of themselves, and I growl loudly, and my tail fluffs into a bottlebrush fluff.
-
*Al's eyes turn black as well* Al: Unless you want to die slowly, and painfully, accept the mercy I'm giving you here...
-
Mama placed a thick paw on the Yena's tail as it fluffed up. "Calm yourselves."
-
I gave a soft mew-like whine and calmed down. Tears began to form, as I didn't like when people hurt me emotionally or physically. He did both. *puppy eyes*
-
((Ok, going to call a fair amount of OP there. If she's capable of doing "whatever she wants" then that basically makes her the most powerful person here. Can we organise some sort of nerf please?))
((Mine is a bit op, once he figures out what he's doing))
-
((Twue, twue))
-
*Alka glares coldly at Yena* Al: You're very lucky... Most people that pull that crap with me... End up pulling the same crap in hell minutes later... *He blinks twice and his left eye returns to being blue before he sighs and gets up, not wanting to be here anymore*
-
I began to cry, and my voice began to crack. "Why won't you be nice to me!? I just wanted to help! Oh, I forgot, this world DESTROYS kindness!" After that, I got up, shook myself, and linked on all fours to the door. "Next time, watch out. I will make you into cupcakes..." I then ran out, with a huge limp.
-
*Al spat in Yena's direction* Al: Bah... "Kindness..." I wouldn't exactly call leaving a gash in my leg kindness... *Al went into his wallet and pulled out the money to pay for his drink, leaving it beside Mama* Besides... Why be kind... when you can be cunning...?
-
Before Al was able to leave, mama cleared her throat loudly and nodded towards a clear class jar labeled 'tips'.
-
As I limped off to the nearest inn, I whispered to myself, "I... I don't know... does he like me...? The only reason -ow- of why... I did it... cuz he started it all, so... oh... goodness..." before breaking down and howling to the sunset.
-
*Al rolled his eyes and placed $2 into the tips jar* Al: Any other payments I need to make...?
-
Mama pointed towards another glass jar that said 'smart ass remarks jar' on it and gave Al a cocky smile.
-
"I... didn't... do anything... to deserve... this......"
-
*Al scoffed* Al: I wonder who'd be bankrupt first... the customer your treating... or the customers who pay...? *Al shrugged and put another $2 in that jar* Thanks for the poison... *Al began walking towards the door*
-
Mama chuckled and began to clean the bar off. "Come again."
-
*Al waved as he exited the bar and looked both ways* Al: Now... Where's my next hit...
-
I fall unconscious from blood loss. ((There is extra blood in my paw pads.))
-
((Sorry about the sudden disappearance, guys. Ran out of data and such. What'd I miss?))
-
((I introduced Al who is now enemies with Yena, a car chase took place after some people invaded a camp, "Mama" is also a character now, and the saloon is fairly chill to have seen a guy stab a chick with ghost powers in the hand, only to have her scream in pain and leave crying))
-
((Me, Vice, Crest and Acon are still raiding the Blackburn camp, we haven't done anything since you left since we kinda need you to play the Blackburns and stuff))
-
((Yeah, sorry. Data-things happened. Wait...stabbed by a ghost? Sounds a bit broken.))
-
((Uh, my fursona can have any power she wants. Besides, she screamed in pain because her paw pads are super sensitive. Sorry, but my 'sona is my own, not your's. Thank you for reading this.)) "Uuurgh..." I begin to wake up.
-
((That's great, honey, but this rp has certain rules. Outside of it, have all the powers you want. No one is trying to tell you that. What we ARE telling you is, is that you'll have to limit her a little in this rp. She can still have her ghost powers, just maybe give her some limitations.))
-
((Being able to interact with the physical world while incorporeal, and the fact that you can essentially kill without having the danger of being killed is kinda one sided. I'm not saying it's a bad power that needs changed, but as Acon said, it's got to be limited here. Godlike characters aren't really smiled upon.))
-
((She isn't godlike. The limit is: if she sneezes, she goes out of ghost mode.))
-
((Unless she sneezes at almost EVERYTHING, it's pretty godlike.))
-
((She sneezes when a certain type of plant is under her nose, and when dust is around, and if she inhales a toxic chemical' she sneezes big-time, which will disable all powers until she gets away from the toxin.))
-
((So, unless an obscure (and most likely rare) plant is present, or if there's dust floating about, or if there's a chemical in the air, she can remain in this 'ghost-mode' indefinitely?))
-
((NOT INDEFINITELY, usually she glitches out and her power disables with those reasons, and she glitches randomly because she is either tired or hurt.))
-
((Though that's an okay defect, I think (in the case of this RP), a timer would be more welcome. I'm guess a little more okay with the ghost-thing, but I think it'd be less of an issue with a timer.))
-
((Are we gonna continue or...?)))
-
((I hope, I was starting to really like this thread))
-
((Yeah, we're good. I'm just gonna move the Blackburns, though.))
As the family reached a cleft in the side of a nearby mountain, Ronnie set Jayce down, and moved a boulder blocking a decently sized hole. The family filed in, and Ronnie set about moving the stone, leaving it ajar for light and air.
-
*he nears the mountain, watching the family enter the space* we have them cornered
-
Jayce stepped towards the 'door', and poked his head out. "D-Did they follow us, Ronnie?" The massive raccoon shrugged. "Dunno, didn't see."
-
*he parks behind a dune and begins to make his way towards them, his gun ready*
-
Acon stepped in front of Vice and placed a gloved paw on his chest. "Wait."
-
*he stopped dead* what is it?
-
Acon looked behind her a moment before she looked at Vice. "Why aren't they fighting back?0
-
I know, it does seem strange. I've been contemplating this and have decided to take them all alive.
-
Acon nodded and stepped out of Vice's way. "How do you plan to get them out of there?"
-
*he unsheathes a canister* i'm going to flush them out with tear gas
-
Acon scrunched up her nose. "Isn't that a little much?"
-
It's better than a gunfight. Any better ideas?
-
Acon sighed. "There has to be a better way. I know it. I mean... That littler one in there is hurt pretty bad.
-
We could warn them? Let them come out peacefully.
-
Acon shrugged. "Worst a shot."
-
*he very quietly approaches there hiding spot* alright sirs, I will dive you a chance to exit peacefully and have no harm done to you.
-
Valentine's voice exploded from the cave. "Sirs!? Why I oughta-" Jayce's voice silenced her. "Valentine! Shush! They're letting us g-go. I think. So! Mister outside voice, you're going to let us out, no harm done?!"
-
Well, were going to take you in for questioning and what not, but yes, then you will be freed if viable.
-
Jayce chuckled. "Just questioning?! Yeah right, with what got pinned on us, we'll be shot on sight!"
-
I swear, we won't shoot first. Just come out and lay your weapons down.
-
(Hey mind if I join? Chains might also be joining.)
Name: Lennox Garrison
Age: 23
Species: umbreon
Gender: male
Appearance: quite a few scars from fights, Brown leather jacket, shirt, blue denim pants and boots.
Weapons: a custom rifle that can shoot long distances, a pistol
Extra: has a small mutation where he can see completely fine in the dark which makes means his eyes are a dull white.
-
Jayce spoke with the family. "What do you think? We might be free." Valentine spoke up. "Free?! Jayce, they'll kill us!" Jayce sighed. "This guy sounds sincere. Maybe he won't turn us in." Ronnie shook his head. "We too dangerous, they kill us quick." Jayce sighed. "I can't move the stone, and Ronnie doesn't want to go out." He drew his breath, as Ray groaned slightly. "We need medicine, and fresh bandages."
((That'd be great! The more the merrier!))
-
Because I feel bad, I'll just warn you, the alternative is tear gas And bullets.
-
Jayce sighed. "I. Can't. Move. The. Rock. How do you want me to get out? Bullets don't stop Ronnie." Ronnie grunted, and moved the rock closer to the wall. "No! Feel goods first!"
-
Acon walked up to the rock and placed her paws on it. "Maybe I can try burning through it?"
-
Name: Rebecca Evington
Age: 16
Species: shark
Gender: female
Appearance: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17297409/ (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17297409/) personally I like giving Refs to show rather than describing her appereance.
Extra: she is able to breath under water, she has a mutation that allows her to control water with her mind. coming from a family of sharks she left to become a mechanic, eventually falling ill she takes the le-MON tonic giving her the mutation.
-
Good idea *he pul!s the strange device off his back and fires pure heat into the rock, melting a fairly large hole in it*
-
A sound of grating steel sounded from the cave. Jayce spoke up. "U-Uh, Ronnie's got his gun pressed against the rock. H-He wants medicine for Ray, Kid's not gonna make it more than a few hours without meds, that wound's festering pretty bad." The barrel of Ronnie's massive weapon sat poised in the hole burned into the rock by Vice.
-
*he tosses a first aid kit through the hole* there you go.
-
A fair distance away, Lennox spying on this scene with his a pair of binoculars.
"Hmm...I wonder what's going on down there."
-
Ronnie's weapon disappeared from the hole, and Valentine began patching Ray up. Jayce spoke up. "Oh..my...gods...y-you actually helped! I thought you were gonna gas us." He sounded on the verge of tears, and sniffed. "Y-You've...you kept my baby-brother alive. I thank you."
-
whipping the hair from my eyes I look around trying to find a place to live. As I walk, I notice an umbreon with binoculars, "Hello." I say when I get near him.
-
I'm a scientist, not a cereal killer. I don't want to hurt anyone. *he looks at Ronnie* I help people.
-
Lennox nearly jumped out of his skin and whipped out his pistol as a reflex.
-
Ronnie chuckled, which sounded almost like muted church-bells, and spoke. "That what monster juice said." He was referring to the initial prints of the Le-MON juice containers, which had the claims of better health and such.
-
I yelp and hold my hands to my face, "Don't shoot." I say seeing the gun pointed at me.
-
Trust me, I'm not selling you anything, I'm just hear to make sure everyone gets out alright,
-
"Oh sorry...don't sneak up on someone like that." Lennox put the gun away and got up.
"Its a good way to get shot out here."
-
"Yeah, um I kind of figured that out." I say relaxing a little. "So what are you doing out here?"
-
Ronnie nodded. "Move." He started to push the rock out of the way. Jayce and Valentine picked up Ray, who had his arms wrapped around himself.
-
"I'm sort of a drifter, I was just walking along and saw those guys over there. I've been sitting her trying to figure out what's going on." Lennox gave the shark the binoculars and pointed towards whatever was going with Ray, Ronny, all those people over there.
-
*he helps them ease ray into the vehicle,, getting into the driver's seat*
-
I take take the binoculars and look at where the umbreon had pointed. "Hm, interesting, I wonder what there doing?"
-
"Don't know but it looks like they are headed to town...and one of them looks hurt. I'm going to see if I can follow them, maybe give try to help. You can come along if you'd like."
(Is there a town by the way?)
-
((Yes there is))
-
"I have no where else to go." I say handing the binoculars back to the umbreon.
-
(I gotta go to bed. Talk to you tomorrow.)
-
(I should go to, night.)
-
*Al was walking around the town, thinking* Al: There are so many bounties I can go for... Too many. World is getting more and more hostile by the day... Average joe wants Jill dead at this point. But who do I go for *Al passed by Lennox as he walked*
-
((I'm gonna go too, goodnight everyone))
-
((Oh dear, I sure missed a lot. I have no clue what's going on. Anyone care to catch me up? Or am I too far behind?))
-
((Nothing much, the Blackburns tried to get away, but were persuaded to surrender due to Ray's condition. Erm...can't think of anything else.))
-
((Condition? As in his injury right? Well thanks for catching me up.))
-
As the vehicle approached the town, Sanders came out, confused. "Sherrif? The heck's goin' on?"
-
Lennox a little ways back as he didn't have a car or mount to take but still headed to town.
-
I walk around, trying to find a hospital, slowly losing blood, while sniffing.
-
*he stops the vehicle, assisting ray out of it*
-
*Al had walked around the town a bit, and got a few strange looks from people. He stopped as he saw the group in the vehicle* Al: Wonder what they're up to...
-
*after helping ray, he looks over at the new face staggering towards the hospital* I was gone for a few hours... And this, this, is what I come back to
-
Cecil hops out of the vehicle, and assists Vice in helping Ray. "You should be thankful that we're helping you here Blackburn. If it were up to me or anyone else, you'd be buzzard food, along with the rest of your family."
-
Sanders took Ray from Vice and Cecil, and led him inside. He sat Ray down, and approached (Yena). "Tch...Come here, let's get you bandaged up."
-
Lennox wandered into town and saw the vehicle.
"Hopefully everyone is ok." He said and went into the hospital.
-
*he looks around*who are all the new people?
-
"I saw you guys driving into town with some hurt guy. Wanted to see if you needed help."
-
"We're fine, it's just a gunshot, he'll live." What's your name?
-
"Lennox, I'm drifter so I don't really know much about this town."
-
Well, that makes two of us. Who's the death machine? *points at al*
-
(I don't think Al is in the hospital)
-
(through a window or something, he's outside)
-
"Hey, lennox, where are we going any ways?" I ask just barely catching up with him.
-
"Oh hey, just seeing if those people needed help. Turns out they don't so let's head to the saloon."
-
After bandaging Yena's paws, Sanders returned to Ray. He started treating Ray's wound, speaking quietly.
Jayce, Ronnie, and Valentine sat in the barber shop seats (aside from Ronnie, who sat on the ground), and waited. Anyone who walked past the windows moved away quickly.
-
"Yeah alright, I can go for some place out of the sun." I say dusting off my overals and dusting off my gloves.
-
"Alright." Lennox heads over to saloon noticing people were avoiding the barber shop. He The blackburns but not knowing theme at all he wondered what made them so dangerous.
-
I noteced this as well, "Hm, I wonder why they are avoiding the Barbor shop?" I ask.
-
"Don't know, but those guys in there could be trouble." Lennox walked into the saloon and sat at the bar.
-
I sit next to him waiting for the bar tender to take our order, as we sit, I take my wrench out of the mid pocket of my overals and start cleaning it.
-
I blush, but not much, still sorta disoriented from the lack of blood. "Th....thanks..." I say, before going for the door, swerving a bit.
-
*I find Sanders and the blackburns* how is everyone holding up?
-
"Fine, Ray and the other one (Yena) are getting patched up. What do you plan to do with the Blackburns?"
-
The pig bartender came up to Lennox and (insert chain's character. Forgot her name.)
"What'll you have?" He asked.
"Some water, please." Lennox handed over some cash and the bartender poured him a glass of water.
-
Jayce and Ronnie seemed tense, as Ray slept fitfully. Valentine seemed to had fallen asleep in one of the chairs. Sanders was busy acquiring the rest of the medicine. Jayec stood, when Vice entered, and spoke, quietly. "I just wanna thank you for...for not killing us."
-
Well, you were very cooperative, I had no reason to. You guys don't seem quite as bad as you're said to be.
-
Jayce nodded. "Yeah...a lot of blame gets shifted around."
-
Lennox left the saloon and looked around. Most of the town seemed on edge, and that is never good.
-
I tried to walk to the door of a nearest inn, but failed, due to not enough blood. "That..... stupid wolf.... is gonna pay.... because of him... I'm severely damaged.... uuuuugh..."
-
"Blame?" Cecil asked Jayce, "you mean that you and your siblings haven't been riding around killing and stealing?" Cecil said, it wasn't that he didn't believe them (he has a knack for being able to tell lies from truth anyway) it was just strange: If the Blackburns weren't responsible, who was?
-
"You need some help buddy?" Lennox seeing the guy having trouble walking.
-
I know how you feel, I have a few deaths on my hands *he looks down at the floor*
-
Jayce sighed. "We've been doing that, but not nearly as much as people think!" He rubbed the back of his neck.
-
*he looks at Cecil* you must admit, it's a bit hard to believe four people can do that much
-
"Then where do these rumors come from? Is there someone else out there?"
-
There must be. Have you seen the one with all the weapons?
-
"What!? I've never heard of anything like that. Do you know anything else about him?"
-
No, he just looks dangerous, like the kind of person who would kill that many people.
-
Jayce sighed, and sat. "I've never seen 'em, but I've heard of 'em." He sighed. "They only attack when the dust storms get bad. They don't even take anything!" Jayce rubbed the back of his neck. "We do..." He added quietly.
-
Well. If he's going to be a problem, I want him out of here.
-
Jayce shrugged. "I don't know where they camp, or if there's only one...I don't know."
-
Well if you find any, tell me
-
"No, I'm good, I just lost some blood from some wolf wearing armor. I think his name is Al, coming from my ears..."
-
Jayce sighed, as an escape plan formed in his mind. "This is nice and all, but we need to rest. If you would be so kind..?" He motioned to the front door.
-
I'm afraid I can't just leave you alone, you're still criminals. If you wouldn't mind coming with me to the office *he motions to the sheriff's office*
-
Jayce sighed. "I'd rather stay with my brother, if that's okay with you."
-
You can all come, there are enough cells.
-
Jayce sighed. "Fine." He helped Ray to his feet, after Sanders fix his wound. Ronnie and Valentine started outside, and waited for Vice.
-
*vice offered to help with ray, opening the door and heading outside*
-
Jayce thought his plans over, and suppressed a smile.
-
Acon stepped out of a building nearby with her paws on her pockets, playing with the coins inside of them. They jingled loudly as she walked.
-
*vice lead them to the office and showed them to a large cell*
-
The Blackburns stepped into the cell, and Ray groaned as he laid down. "So, how long are you gonna hold us?" Jayce crossed his arms, and waited for a response.
-
Until ray recovers. Maybe a few days.
-
Jayce nodded. "Good."
-
You better not pull anything *his vision moves between them*
-
Jayce shrugged. "Fine."
-
I'm trusting you, don't make me regret it.
-
Jayce shrugged. "What're you gonna do when we get released?"
-
Well, you can stay here if you don't cause any trouble, or you can leave
-
Jayce shrugged. "Don't know how the populace will take that."
-
However I tell them to take it. Don't worry.
-
Jayce sighed, and sat. "Fine, but I don't expect much from the locale."
-
I don't. As long as you don't kill anyone or steal anything, you're welcome.
-
Jayce nodded. "That's the plan."
-
And as long as you're welcome, I'll make sure you're treated like anyone else
-
Jayce sighed. "Fine." Ronnie laid down, and Valentine laid down across his chest. Jayce leaned against the bars.
-
*he went over to his desk and sat down*
-
(Is something going to happen soon? I am having trouble figuring out what to post.)
-
((i'm sure something will happen))
-
Cecil had been with Vice. As he looked at the Blackburns in their cages he couldn't help but feel guilty. They looked so sad and pitiful. Sure, they each have a reason to be locked away, but it's obvious that they've been framed. By that mystery maniac, who was still at large. "We need to go after that person that you talked about Vice, the one who might really be causing all of this trouble." He said, and then he turned to the jailed bandits. "If we catch this guy it would clear your name and get you freed. You could help us, all of you would finally make some honest money. Plus something like this would clear your family name. What'd you say"?
-
Suddenly, and without warning, Jayce sat up, his ears moving like twin satellite dishes. "No..." A dust-storm, like a grim miasma, crawled across the plains, and swallowed the town. Jayce looked worried, very worried.
-
"No? Well ok then, that's your choice, I can't imagine why you'd pass up a deal like this though. I know that if I were you, I'd take it."
-
Lennox eyes quickly adjusted to the sand storm and he could see through the storm.
"Where all this come from?"
-
I get up and thank the awesome person for sympathy/asking if I'm OK.
-
"Lets get you inside, I think something is coming." Lennox helps you into the inn.
-
Cecil *he draws his attention to the storm* this is going to have to wait.
-
Cecil finally realized that outside, there was a dust storm. "I think were fine. Just close all the doors and windows. Then we'll wait for the storm to pass."
-
I smile weakly. ^////^
-
I agree, close all the doors and windows. We'll have to wait this out.
-
Lennox gets some one to help you upstairs and get some rest while he helps make sure everything is seccure.
-
Through the dust storm road a figure. He stood atop a carriage made of stitched flesh and bleached bone. The figure wore a mask of porcelain, but seemed to be wolf-like in nature. His carriage was pulled by a pair of skinned horses. The figure stopped, and looked around, piercing red eyes cutting through the dust. He lept down, and started to stroll through the town.
-
Who the hell is this lunatic? *he points out the window at the figure*
-
"How long do you think until the storm passes?" Cecil asked Vice.
-
Look *he shows Cecil* that crazy rider just showed up in the middle of town. I think we should kill him.
-
The rider laughed, apparently he had heard Vice. "Is that how you show a stranger a good time?" His voice was warm, and seemed misplaced. "You just shoot everyone who comes in? A shame."
-
What the hell? How can he hear me. Cecil, get ready, this is the guy. *he grabs his shotgun*
-
Cecil looked and saw the figure, obviously some cold blooded killer. "When they have masks and glowing red eyes we do!" He called out. He then pulled his gun out of the holster and started adjusting the scope.
-
The figure smiled, and whistled. From the carriage leapt four figures. When they landed, they seemed to jerk and twitch, but they stared at the rider. "And yet...you've let the Blackburns into your town?" He pointed directly at the jailhouse.
-
Listen you psychopath *he bursts through the door into the storm* if you lay a hand on anyone in this town, your ass is as good as carrion.
-
The rider chuckled. "I just wanted to get a drink, and yet I'm met with hostility. I was willin' to pay, too."
-
Alright, fine, get what you need, pay, and get out. *he docks the shotgun* I don't want to kill anyone I don't have to.
-
The figure smiled. "You're not gonna kill me." He started towards the general goods store.
-
Thank you for complying. *he steps back inside*
-
The figure, after a few moments, stepped out of the general goods store, adjusting his suit. He smirked, and started off towards the carriage.
-
*he watches, spitefully, watching his every move*
-
The rider stared at Vice. "Nothin' I wanted." He climbed up onto the carriage, and started away. The figures had reentered the carriage, and rode away.
-
Cecil, check the store.
-
Lennox saw the figure and went to go check the store as well.
-
The store owner seemed fine, but looked...off. His eyes were completely red, and glowed slightly.
-
"Hey you ok." Lennox said waving his hand in front of his face. Lennox's own eyes were milky white due to his mutation and he wondered if this was related.
-
The figure rode away, and the shop keeper dropped to the floor, blood falling from his mouth.
-
*he walks out of the office with a sign, and pinned it to the front of the building. It read "Reward for the mysterious figure" with a hefty price of ten million dollars. How he intended to get this money and where from was beyond the townsfolk, but he had a source*
-
"Ten grand..." Lennox knew that was a lot of money but he needed help since this guy seemed to literally blow people's minds. He went to find the blackburnss.
-
*he was intercepted by vice* sorry, there in my custody, I can't just let you in there alone. I'll come in with you.
-
The Blackburns were busy trying to hold Ray down, as he thrashed around on the bed. "Ray!? Ray! Wake up!" Valentine was holding the young raccoon's face, shouting at him.
-
*he looked in at the group* what's happening?
-
Jayce shrugged. "Nightmares. Ray get's 'em pretty bad, mostly 'cause he had a brush with the skull man."
-
The skull man... You know that crazy flesh rider?
-
Jayce nodded. "He used to teach us the ways of raiding and such."
-
We need him dead... If you're up to the task, you'll be rewarded handsomely.
-
Jayce shook his head. "What's your plan, chief? It's almost impossible to kill him. We've seen people shoot him, blow him up, run him over. He just...shrugs it off and keeps on truckin'."
-
"Hey black burns I need your help." Lennox says walking in.
-
I have a plan, but it's very costly, and one hundred percent effective.
-
"...did I miss something." Lennox says
-
Not much...
-
Valentine swaggered up to the bars, and placed her paws on her hips. "What'chu want?"
Jayce shook his head. "Unless your plan is nuking the planet. We're up shit creek."
-
Acon walked into the sheriff's office with her arms crossed and her jacket held tightly closed against her. "I still haven't received my pay." She sang.
-
After walking with Lennox to a room, I sat on a bed and slowly waited for my blood to come back.
-
"Listen you." Cecil said in the direction of the prison cells. "You don't have to stay in there. You could help us out with that maniac that just rode through here. I'll let you tear him to shreds all by yourself if that's what it takes. We need you and you need us."
-
Jayce shook his head. "So...we either stay in the cell, or go face certain death?" He chuckled, and sat down. Valentine sat down at the foot of the bed, and sighed.
-
"What makes you so certain we won't be able to take him down? We already out number him. All we need is a good plan, and that's what Vice is here for."
-
Jayce shook his head. "If it's suicide you want, leave us out."
-
"Well we all gotta die someday. I'd rather die with honor trying to make this world a better place than to just sit and rot in a cell."
-
Would you stop, I have a plan, I just... I don't like it. Does anyone have a plan?
-
Acon sighed. "We could just let it go and move on with our lives instead of playing hero. Just a thought though."
-
On any other day I would, I would just stop giving a shit. But I owe this town, and so it's not my choice.
-
"Screw this I'll hunt him myself." Lennox said before leaving.
-
Don't do that!
-
"Why? One shot to the head and he should die pretty quickly." Lennox said having no clue that the guy he was about to hunt was extremely dangerous.
-
My plan is fool proof, don't **censor** this up.
-
"Ok chill man." Lennox said raising his hands.
-
If you ruin this opportunity, I will banish you to the void.
-
Cecil was suprised, he'd never seen Vice act this way. "We don't have to be arguing like this. Vice what is your plan?"
-
I'm going to erase him. From time. But it will be a bit draining...
-
Acon rolled her eyes before she started for the door. "Well, y'all have fun. It was nice knowin ya while you still had your heads."
-
That's no way to approach this.
-
"I'm not worried about it. Plus, I won't be helping you broke jokes do anything more until I get paid."
-
Alright, fine, i'll have your payment in a few minutes.
-
Acon turned on her heel with a smirk. "It's about time."
-
"Erase him from time? You can do that?"
-
*he starts to walk out the back* Cecil, would you mind watching them? *he gestures at the blackburns* I have to take care of something.
-
"That's fine, I don't have any where else to be. You go work on... whatever your going to work on."
-
*he exits the office, walking out back. You can hear him talking*
-
Jayce just shook his head. "I don't think it'll matter."
-
Acon sighed loudly and sat down in a nearby chair. "I don't think it will either."
-
*He re-enters the office with a few sacks, tossing one to Acon* here, in full. *through the closing door you see a figure walk off*
-
(I hate how I always have to go to bed and miss a bunch of stuff.)
-
((you missed me being at school))
-
"How can all of you think so negatively? Have some faith in Vice, he hasn't failed us yet."
-
Yes, I have a flawless record. Cecil *tosses him a bag* here you are.
-
Acon smiled as she counted her coin. "It's just better to think like that. That way, when he does fail, we won't be ultimately disappointed in him. No point in getting our hopes up."
-
I won't fail you. I need your complete trust.
-
"That goes for you as well Blackburns. Just think, all of us against one guy, doesn't that give us at least a small chance of success?"
-
Jayce shook his head. "We've seen a hundred bodies take him on. A hundred unmarked graves in the dust." He sighed. "I'm not very keen on dying for no reason."
-
Can you buy me fifty seconds?
-
Jayce shook his head. "Not unless he's gonna give 'em up."
-
Negotiate, it's fun, he'll kill you later.
-
I soon recover and begin to go to shower. After, I turn off the light and go to bed. I will fight tomorrow...
-
Jayce shook his head. "With those demons of his? I've seen them skin three people in two seconds." He hugged his knees. "I don't want to endanger my family."
-
Acon sighed. "Leave them alone. They don't want to help. They're just kids."
-
"So you've seen the things he can do? That's good, tell us more. It's always good to know your enemy."
-
*he looks them over* alright, I can't force you.
-
Jayce sighed. "Bullets pass through him like...a lead ball through water. His demons are horrifying creatures, able to move faster than you can blink. They're savage creatures." Jayce wrapped his arms around his knees, and shuddered. "We've seen them string the guts of victims across trees, cacti, all sorts of stuff...I-It's awful."
-
If only I had more time...
-
"All this isn't scaring me so far." Lennox says as he is kind of an cocky idiot sometimes.
-
"This sounds like some kind of fairytale. What is he? A monster? A demon? The Devil?"
-
There is no devil, only abominable beasts.
-
"...everything dies...let's start with that jerk."
-
He won't just die... He will live and die at the same time infinitely...
-
"...so?" Lennox says really not understanding.
-
It will be unending agony...
-
"That sounds awesome."
-
It is torturous... I know...
-
Jayce sighed, after hearing Vice's comments. "He...doesn't...die! We've had hundreds of people try! I don't even think he's alive! I don't know what gave him his powers, or why he was so lucky, but this man, this...thing..." He shook his head. "J-Just do what we do..." Jayce sighed. "G-Give he what he wants...and hope he leaves." Jayce looked up at the ceiling, almost on the verge of tears. "We...we went weeks without water...all we had was...was that disgusting broth...a-and look where that got us." He hung his head, and sighed, a single tear streaming from his eye, and falling from his nose. "H-He does it...because he wants too."
-
"...than we find the source of his powers." Lennox said bluntly.
-
I can keep him from stopping you long enough to destroy it, but you must find it first...
-
Acon sighed and leaned against the bars of the Blackburns' cell. A quite sizzling noise was made.
-
S-stop! You're melting the bars!
-
Acon looked behind her at the now distorted cell bars and sat up. "Oops." She smirked as they began to crumble. "My bad."
-
You! *he held his head in his hands* don't touch anything.
-
Acon chuckled. "I'll try not to, but I can't make any promises." She teased.
-
*he thinks for a moment* if you were to look for the source of his power, how long would it take?
-
"I have no clue, but it's our best shot."
-
Acon shrugged as she picked dirt from her nails. "Probably should only take a few minutes."
-
That's easy, I could do that, you should start looking...
-
Acon sighed loudly and turned towards the door. "We have any idea where he is?"
-
No, but... *he thinks himself* I know where he was... I could follow him...
-
"Maybe leave that to me. I can see things normal people can't."
-
Acon shook her head. "I just need a few minutes with him. Fighting, talking, following him. That's all I need really."
-
I can put him in stasis... I think...
-
"You might need some help Acon, I'll go with you if that's ok."
-
Acon sighed. "Come along if you feel it necessary."
-
"I'll come along to, my eyes are multi-purpose."
(I'm changing Lennox mutation a little. He basically has utility visions instead of just seeing in the dark. I realise just seeing the dark is kind of lame.)
-
Alright, me and Lennox will track the rider, you two find his power scorce.
-
"That sounds like a plan. Let's get to it."
-
Actually, lennox, you should go with them... Help them find it...
-
"Alrigth what ever yous say captain." Lennox says jokingly
-
((Hope y'all are still interested.))
A duststorm, which looked incredibly unnatural, rolled across the plains a few miles away, heading westward.
-
((I like this rp, it's just been a while since the story has moved along. I don't blame you Ray, I know you must be a busy guy.))
Cecil sees far off in the distance another dust storm rolling about. "Look! Over there! That could be him! Should we pursue him?"
-
I walk along the street, looking at all of the wonderful furries around me.
-
I'll go after him, you find his power source! *he ran out of the office*
