Title: Whats your Heritage?

Other then most of us knowing your FURRY species, I'm curious to know what heritage our members are. :D

I know theres a colorful variety here and I'd really love to know ^^

I have 50% Jewish(Mom's side) Blood and 50% Christian(Dad's side) blood, even thought I choose to be a Taoist.

My Mom's side of the family is pure Russian while my Dad's is American, New York.

So I'm like 30% - 40% Russian. :P

I don't mind saying...

By blood, military service runs through my veins.... thousands of years of it (we date back to when there was an "Old King Cole", and boy was he a merry OLD soul before he died... and much further, but he's one of the people I descend from.) and we have yet to stop fighting for some odd reason. ^^;;;

As for religion... Christianity is the primary belief in my family.

Really? Thats interesting. ^^ I never knew that.

Nothing really runs in my family xP Well, maybe attitudes but thats it xD

i'm mainly Russian, on my fathers side and that's where my name origanated from. though i'm not exactly sure on the history of my ancestors I knew a couple of them were in like, WWII or something. Also stuff like engineers. Probably why I like tanks so much :p As far as religion, Christianity.

My RL name originated from Jewish and Russian, but I wont say it. Cause I hate it. xP

I'm native american. Mainly, anyways, probally over 50% because when I was born they told my parents that I was an indian baby and I was really yellow  :P but besides that, i'm irish and black dutch (European and German, or something I believe?)

On my dad's side we've been in the "trades" like my dad he's a full time millwright working at Magna (magna means Power) International in Newmarket Ontario, Hes British on account of our last name...and my grandfather was a barber in my dad's hometown of Kirkfield then my mother she's now a full time RPN (registered Practical Nurse) At the Ross Memorial hospital in the town I live in which is Lindsay and her side of the family originate form Scotland...just 2 generations ago! In other words my grandmother from my mom's side immigrated from Scotland...but I don't know how many generations back it was when my father came to Canada...So I myself am 50% Scottish 50% British and 100% Canadian! EH!!

And my 2 grandfathers from my mom's side one served in the Korean war and my other grandfather from my mom's side was a Paramedic for the Toronto EMS...I'm not sure what my grandmother did though on my dad's side...

And I still continue the family heritage of being in "trades" I am a 1st Year Electrician Apprentice...a well respected trade...

Welch, English, German, Italian, Irish, Native American (great grandfather).


My dad's side has been in the military for three generations, and been truck drivers for three. I will never do either of these. I am hoping to be the first generation student to go to college on my dad's side.


(Oh I'm also related to Jesse James.........on both sides of the family o_O )

                 On my dads and moms side we have 2 generations of military blood my grandpa from my dad's side wasa german translator for allied troops and my grandpa from my mom's side was a native american coder in the pacific front and somewhere along the line a couple of my ancestors were actual pirates on account that we have a bag of doubloons a few letters (in the letters it expains how we found out that they were pirates)  and an old pistol of theirs.

so I'm 50% german on my dads side and 25% cherokee 25% english

My family history really has no special history or anything.

But I'm suprised about some of you gus heritages, I would of never known x3

Well my mom's grandma was born in Lebanon, then moved here so my mom's mom was Lebanese, so then my mom was 50%..

Same with my dad's side basically, only with germany, so I'm somewhere around 25% Lebanese and 25% German.... *Terrorist Nazi* :[

Other than that I have no idea...

I don't remember the percentages, but I'm an assembly of German, Irish, Scottish, and English.

 O:) I am Catholic on my dad's side and Lutheran (a kind of Christian) on my mom's side.  I am personally a Lutheran and strongly believe in god  O:) but I still think church is one of the world's most boring aspects.  I am white and really, really, mixed up-  ??? 1/16 Native American and the rest is a pretty even split of German, Norwegian/Swedish, and (I think) British/Irish.

I'm 60% Pole and 40% Lithuanian (from my grandma's side) Not pretty sure about german roots cause one of my elders haved first name "Adolf" (no, not HE, forget it xDDDDDDD) I'm Catholic (in my heart... heheheheheheheheheh... yeah... ;P)

I don't know the actual percentages, I know they're not much. Nothing really shows up in me besides the Polish and Native American *I'm not tan at all though, mind you*


I know I have some English, Polish and Native American, for sure..

I am, {i think} 1/4 German, {somehow related to hitler..figures, i mean, that explains where my blatent disreguard for rules and bad attitude} 1/4 american, 1/4 Irish, and 1/4 Norweigan. There are several others but they're very small. Like North American.{indian}

I am quarter mexican (though you would never be able to tell) and a quarter russian, i have no idea about the other side other then its white.

what you talking about broken, Hitler was a stickler for rules and of course uniforms. He also toasted anybody who treated him with a bad attitude. Probably because of his paranoia.

@Sarge: I meant his disreguard for school and art rules. he did aim tyo be an artist but then a few mishaps and thus lead to the holcaust. Thus i get my temper and traits from.

You make aspiring artist sound so dangerous.
Please don't take the subject of the Shoa so lightly.
It was much more than a few mishaps that "lead" to that dark time in history.
