Hey I'm Sarge, 18 and from Germany although i am American. I'm sure when I'm not in the middle of a brain fart i think up more to say. *waves paw at everybody*

I do believe it's short for Sergeant (Non-Commissioned Officer rank in several branches of the military).
Do take care and do make sure you plan for it by letting people know you'll be gone for a long time, Sarge. You'll cause less worry that way.

Oh and thanks for the offer on lifestyle Vosur but, I'm a navy brat going into the air force and with many air force friends and army friends and believe me I've got enough stuff to write a book. Thanks though but if you feel like there is something i should know tell me, believe me i will never say no to advice.

Set yourself up with a 'hydration schedule' before going in... that's the key advice I have to give you about going into the Air Force (which I happen to be in), and be really patient.
As for my own military background, my whole family has had military background one way or another and my geneology for my military heritage extends back thousands of years.... so I can give you as much information as I have had going in.
And last but not least, your recruiter will lie to you in one way or another and whatever your recruiter puts into contract, get a copy of it for yourself... it can mean the difference between making 700 Dollars a month and 1400 Dollars a month.
